A Júda fiai törzsének sorsolás által nemzetségenként ez jutott: Edóm határa felé a Cin-puszta, délre, a határ legdélibb végén.

A Júda fiai nemzetségének sors által való része pedig az ő családjaik szerint [ez] vala: Edomnak határa felé a Czin pusztája délre, a déli határnak végén.

This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah by their families; even to the border of Edom the wilderness of Zin southward was the uttermost part of the south coast.

Partea căzută prin sorţi seminţiei fiilor lui Iuda, după familiile lor, se întindea spre hotarul Edomului până la pustiul Ţin, la miazăzi. Acesta a fost hotarul cel mai de miazăzi.

The allotment for the tribe of the people of Judah according to their clans reached southward to the boundary of Edom, to the wilderness of Zin at the farthest south.

Délen az Akrabbím-hágó felé halad, majd átmegy Cin felé, és fölmegy délről Kádés-Barnea felé, áthalad Hecrónon, fölmegy Addár felé, és Karka felé kanyarodik.

And it went out to the south side to Maalehacrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadeshbarnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa:

Majd Acmón felé halad, kiér Egyiptom patakjáig, és a határ a tengernél végződik. Ez a határotok délre.

From thence it passed toward Azmon, and went out unto the river of Egypt; and the goings out of that coast were at the sea: this shall be your south coast.

And the east border was the salt sea, even unto the end of Jordan. And their border in the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the uttermost part of Jordan:

And the east boundary is the Salt Sea, to the mouth of the Jordan. And the boundary on the north side runs from the bay of the sea at the mouth of the Jordan.

And the border went up to Bethhogla, and passed along by the north of Betharabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben:

And the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that is before the going up to Adummim, which is on the south side of the river: and the border passed toward the waters of Enshemesh, and the goings out thereof were at Enrogel:

And the boundary goes up to Debir from the Valley of Achor, and so northward, turning toward Gilgal, which is opposite the ascent of Adummim, which is on the south side of the valley. And the boundary passes along to the waters of En-shemesh and ends at En-rogel.

Innen fölmegy a Hinnóm fiának völgyén, a jebúszi hegyhát, azaz Jeruzsálem déli oldala felé. Majd fölmegy a határ a hegytetőre, amely a Hinnóm völgyével szemben van nyugat felé, és a Refáim-völgy északi szélén.

And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of the giants northward:

Then the boundary goes up by the Valley of the Son of Hinnom at the southern shoulder of the Jebusite (that is, Jerusalem). And the boundary goes up to the top of the mountain that lies over against the Valley of Hinnom, on the west, at the northern end of the Valley of Rephaim.

A hegytetőről a Neftóah forrásához kanyarodik, és kimegy az efróni hegyvidék városai felé, majd a Baalához, azaz Kirjat-Jeárimhoz kanyarodik.

And the border was drawn from the top of the hill unto the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border was drawn to Baalah, which is Kirjathjearim:

Then the boundary extends from the top of the mountain to the spring of the waters of Nephtoah, and from there to the cities of Mount Ephron. Then the boundary bends around to Baalah (that is, Kiriath-jearim).

Baalától pedig a határ nyugatnak fordul a Széír-hegy felé, és átmegy északra a Jeárim-hegy oldala felé, azaz Keszálón felé, és lemegy Bétsemesnek, és Timná felé halad.

Baalától pedig fordul e határ napnyugotnak a Szeír-hegy felé, és átmegy északnak a Jeárim-hegy oldala felé, azaz Kesalon felé és alámegy Béth- Semesnek és átmegy Timnának.

And the border compassed from Baalah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along unto the side of mount Jearim, which is Chesalon, on the north side, and went down to Bethshemesh, and passed on to Timnah:

And the boundary circles west of Baalah to Mount Seir, passes along to the northern shoulder of Mount Jearim (that is, Chesalon), and goes down to Beth-shemesh and passes along by Timnah.

And the border went out unto the side of Ekron northward: and the border was drawn to Shicron, and passed along to mount Baalah, and went out unto Jabneel; and the goings out of the border were at the sea.

The boundary goes out to the shoulder of the hill north of Ekron, then the boundary bends around to Shikkeron and passes along to Mount Baalah and goes out to Jabneel. Then the boundary comes to an end at the sea.

A nyugati határ pedig a Nagytenger és melléke. Ez Júda fiainak határa körös-körül nemzetségenként.

And the west border was to the great sea, and the coast thereof. This is the coast of the children of Judah round about according to their families.

And the west boundary was the Great Sea with its coastline. This is the boundary around the people of Judah according to their clans.

And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron.

Lui Caleb, fiul lui Iefune, i-au dat o parte în mijlocul fiilor lui Iuda, cum poruncise lui Iosua, Domnul; lui i-au dat Chriat-Arba, adică Hebronul: Arba era tatăl lui Anac.

According to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, he gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh a portion among the people of Judah, Kiriath-arba, that is, Hebron (Arba was the father of Anak).

És kiűzte onnan Káléb Anák három fiát: Sésajt, Ahimánt és Talmajt, Anák gyermekeit.

And Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.

And Caleb drove out from there the three sons of Anak, Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai, the descendants of Anak.

És fölvonult innen Debír lakói ellen, Debír neve pedig azelőtt Kirjat-Széfer volt.

És felméne innét Debir lakói ellen, Debirnek neve pedig azelőtt Kirjáth- Széfer volt.

And he went up thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before was Kirjathsepher.

De acolo s-a suit împotriva locuitorilor Debirului: Debirul se numea mai înainte Chiriat-Sefer.

And he went up from there against the inhabitants of Debir. Now the name of Debir formerly was Kiriath-sepher.

Ekkor ezt mondta Káléb: Aki megveri és elfoglalja Kirjat-Széfert, annak feleségül adom a leányomat, Akszát.

And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjathsepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.

Caleb a zis: „Celui ce va bate cetatea Chiriat-Sefer şi o va lua îi voi da de nevastă pe fiica mea, Acsa.”

And Caleb said, “He who attacks Kiriath-sepher and captures it, I will give him Achsah my daughter as wife.”

And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife.

And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, captured it. And he gave him Achsah his daughter as wife.

Amikor az hozzáment, a férje biztatta őt, hogy kérjen az apjától mezőt. Amikor leszállt a szamárról, Káléb megkérdezte tőle: Mit akarsz?

And it came to pass, as she came unto him, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted off her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wouldest thou?

When she came to him, she urged him to ask her father for a field. And she dismounted from her donkey, and Caleb said to her, “What do you want?”

And the uttermost cities of the tribe of the children of Judah toward the coast of Edom southward were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,

The cities belonging to the tribe of the people of Judah in the extreme south, toward the boundary of Edom, were Kabzeel, Eder, Jagur,
