And after this it came to pass that David smote the Philistines, and subdued them: and David took Methegammah out of the hand of the Philistines.

After this David defeated the Philistines and subdued them, and David took Metheg-ammah out of the hand of the Philistines.

Megverte a móábiakat is, lefektette őket a földre, és kötéllel mérte meg őket. Kétkötélnyit megöletett, egy teljes kötélnyit pedig életben hagyott. És a móábiak Dávid adófizető szolgái lettek.

És megveré a Moábitákat [is, ]és kötéllel méré meg őket, lefektetvén őket a földre; két kötéllel méré azokat, a kik megölendők, és egy teljes kötéllel azokat, a kik életben hagyandók valának; és a Moábiták Dávidnak adófizető szolgái lőnek.

And he smote Moab, and measured them with a line, casting them down to the ground; even with two lines measured he to put to death, and with one full line to keep alive. And so the Moabites became David's servants, and brought gifts.

A bătut pe moabiţi şi i-a măsurat cu o frânghie, punându-i să se culce la pământ; a măsurat două frânghii ca să-i omoare, şi o frânghie plină ca să-i lase vii. Şi moabiţii au fost supuşi lui David şi i-au plătit un bir.

And he defeated Moab and he measured them with a line, making them lie down on the ground. Two lines he measured to be put to death, and one full line to be spared. And the Moabites became servants to David and brought tribute.

David also defeated Hadadezer the son of Rehob, king of Zobah, as he went to restore his power at the river Euphrates.

Foglyul ejtett Dávid közülük ezerhétszáz lovast és húszezer gyalogost. Elvágatta Dávid az összes harci szekérbe való ló inát, és csak száz szekérbe valót hagyott meg közülük.

És foglyul ejtett Dávid közülök ezer és hétszáz lovagot, és húszezer gyalog embert; és inaikat elvagdaltatá Dávid minden szekeres [lovak]nak és [csak] száz szekérbe [valót] hagyott meg közülök.

And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven hundred horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen: and David houghed all the chariot horses, but reserved of them for an hundred chariots.

David i-a luat o mie şapte sute de călăreţi şi douăzeci de mii de pedeştri; a tăiat vinele cailor de trăsură şi n-a păstrat cai decât pentru o sută de care.

And David took from him 1,700 horsemen, and 20,000 foot soldiers. And David hamstrung all the chariot horses but left enough for 100 chariots.

Aztán eljöttek a damaszkuszi arámok, hogy megsegítsék Hadadezert, Cóbá királyát. Dávid levágott közülük huszonkétezer arámi férfit.

Eljövének pedig a Siriabeliek Damaskusból, hogy megsegítsék Hadadézert, Czóbának királyát; és levága Dávid a Siriabeliek közül huszonkétezer férfit.

And when the Syrians of Damascus came to succour Hadadezer king of Zobah, David slew of the Syrians two and twenty thousand men.

Sirienii din Damasc au venit în ajutorul lui Hadadezer, împăratul din Ţoba, şi David a ucis douăzeci şi două de mii de sirieni.

And when the Syrians of Damascus came to help Hadadezer king of Zobah, David struck down 22,000 men of the Syrians.

Aztán helyőrséget helyezett az arám Damaszkuszba, és Dávid adófizető szolgái lettek az arámok. Az ÚR megoltalmazta Dávidot, bárhova ment.

És helyeze Dávid állandó sereget a damaskusi Siriába; és a Siriabeliek Dávidnak adófizető szolgái lettek. És megoltalmazá az Úr Dávidot valahová megyen vala.

Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus: and the Syrians became servants to David, and brought gifts. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.

David a pus strajă în Siria Damascului. Şi sirienii au fost supuşi lui David şi i-au plătit un bir. Domnul ocrotea pe David oriunde se ducea.

Then David put garrisons in Aram of Damascus, and the Syrians became servants to David and brought tribute. And the LORD gave victory to David wherever he went.

And David took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadadezer, and brought them to Jerusalem.

And from Betah, and from Berothai, cities of Hadadezer, king David took exceeding much brass.

And from Betah and from Berothai, cities of Hadadezer, King David took very much bronze.

When Toi king of Hamath heard that David had smitten all the host of Hadadezer,

elküldte a fiát, Jórámot Dávid királyhoz, hogy békességgel és áldáskívánással köszöntse, amiért harcolt Hadadezer ellen, és megverte őt. Mert Hadadezer Tóival is hadakozott. És Tói fia kezében aranyból, ezüstből és rézből való edények voltak.

Küldé Tói Jórámot, az ő fiát Dávid királyhoz, hogy békességesen köszöntse őt, és áldja, hogy harczolt Hadadézer ellen és megverte őt (mert Hadadézer Tóival is hadakozik vala). És a [Tói fia] kezében aranyból, ezüstből és rézből való edények valának,

Then Toi sent Joram his son unto king David, to salute him, and to bless him, because he had fought against Hadadezer, and smitten him: for Hadadezer had wars with Toi. And Joram brought with him vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and vessels of brass:

şi a trimis pe fiul său Ioram la împăratul David, ca să-i ureze de bine şi să-l laude că a pornit lupta împotriva lui Hadadezer şi că l-a bătut. Căci Toi era în război cu Hadadezer. Ioram a adus vase de argint, vase de aur şi vase de aramă.

Toi sent his son Joram to King David, to ask about his health and to bless him because he had fought against Hadadezer and defeated him, for Hadadezer had often been at war with Toi. And Joram brought with him articles of silver, of gold, and of bronze.

Ezeket Dávid király szintén az ÚRnak szentelte azzal az ezüsttel és arannyal együtt, amelyet már odaszentelt az összes általa meghódított néptől,

Which also king David did dedicate unto the LORD, with the silver and gold that he had dedicated of all nations which he subdued;

Împăratul David le-a închinat Domnului, cum închinase şi argintul şi aurul luat de la toate neamurile pe care le biruise,

These also King David dedicated to the LORD, together with the silver and gold that he dedicated from all the nations he subdued,

A Siriabeliektől, Moábitáktól, az Ammon fiaitól, a Filiszteusoktól, az Amálekitáktól és a Réhób fiától, Hadadézertől, Czóbának királyától nyert prédából.

Of Syria, and of Moab, and of the children of Ammon, and of the Philistines, and of Amalek, and of the spoil of Hadadezer, son of Rehob, king of Zobah.

din Siria, din Moab, de la fiii lui Amon, de la filisteni, de la Amalec şi din prada de la Hadadezer, fiul lui Rehob, împăratul din Ţoba.

from Edom, Moab, the Ammonites, the Philistines, Amalek, and from the spoil of Hadadezer the son of Rehob, king of Zobah.

Dávid hírnevet szerzett, amikor visszatért, miután tizennyolcezer arámit levert a Sós-völgyben.

És hírnevet szerze Dávid, a mikor visszatért, miután a Siriabelieket leverte a sós völgyben, tizennyolczezeret.

And David gat him a name when he returned from smiting of the Syrians in the valley of salt, being eighteen thousand men.

La întoarcerea de la biruinţa lui asupra sirienilor, David şi-a făcut iarăşi un nume, bătând în Valea Sării optsprezece mii de edomiţi.

And David made a name for himself when he returned from striking down 18,000 Edomites in the Valley of Salt.

Edómba is helyőrséget helyezett, és egész Edómba helyőrséget rendelt, így egész Edóm Dávid szolgája lett. Az ÚR pedig megoltalmazta Dávidot, bárhová ment.

Az Idumeusok közé is állandó sereget rendele, egész Idumeába állandó sereget rendele, és az Idumeusok mind Dávid szolgái lettek. És megoltalmazá az Úr Dávidot, valahová megyen vala.

And he put garrisons in Edom; throughout all Edom put he garrisons, and all they of Edom became David's servants. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.

A pus străji în Edom, a pus străji în tot Edomul. Şi tot Edomul a fost supus lui David. Domnul ocrotea pe David pretutindeni pe unde mergea.

Then he put garrisons in Edom; throughout all Edom he put garrisons, and all the Edomites became David’s servants. And the LORD gave victory to David wherever he went.

Így uralkodott Dávid egész Izráel fölött, és az egész nép között ítéletet és igazságot szolgáltatott.

Uralkodék azért Dávid az egész Izráelen, és szolgáltat vala Dávid az egész nép között ítéletet és igazságot.

And David reigned over all Israel; and David executed judgment and justice unto all his people.

David a împărăţit peste Israel şi făcea judecată şi dreptate la tot poporul lui.

So David reigned over all Israel. And David administered justice and equity to all his people.

A hadsereg fővezére Jóáb, Cérújá fia, főtanácsosa pedig Jósáfát, Ahilúd fia volt.

And Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the host; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder;

Ioab, fiul Ţeruiei, era mai mare peste oştire; Iosafat, fiul lui Ahilud, era mai mare peste scriitori;

Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the army, and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder,

Cádók, Ahitúb fia és Ahimelek, Ebjátár fia voltak a papok, Szerájá pedig kancellár.

Sádók pedig, Akhitóbnak fia, és Akhimélek, Abjátárnak fia papok valának, és Sérája íródeák.

And Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, were the priests; and Seraiah was the scribe;

Ţadoc, fiul lui Ahitub, şi Ahimelec, fiul lui Abiatar, erau preoţi; Seraia era logofăt;

and Zadok the son of Ahitub and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar were priests, and Seraiah was secretary,

Benájá, Jójádá fia a kerétiek és a pelétiek parancsnoka volt, Dávid fiai pedig főemberek voltak.

Benája Jéhójadának fia, a Kereteusok és Peleteusok [előljárója,] a Dávid fiai pedig fők valának.

And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over both the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and David's sons were chief rulers.

Benaia, fiul lui Iehoiada, era căpetenia cheretiţilor şi a peletiţilor; şi fiii lui David erau mari dregători.

and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites, and David’s sons were priests.
