Volt ott történetesen egy istentelen ember, akinek Seba volt a neve. A Benjámin nemzetségéből való Bikri fia volt. Ez belefújt a kürtjébe, és ezt mondta: Nincs semmi közünk Dávidhoz, semmi örökségünk sincs Isai fiában. Azért, ó, Izráel, oszoljatok szét, mindenki vonuljon a maga sátrába.

Vala pedig ott történetesen egy istentelen ember, kinek neve Séba vala, Bikrinek fia, Benjámin [nemzetségéből] való férfiú. Ez trombitát fuvata, és monda: Nincsen nékünk semmi közünk Dávidhoz, és semmi örökségünk nincsen az Isai fiában. [Azért] oh Izráel, [oszoljatok el,] kiki az ő sátorába.

And there happened to be there a man of Belial, whose name was Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjamite: and he blew a trumpet, and said, We have no part in David, neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to his tents, O Israel.

Acolo era un om de nimic, numit Şeba, fiul lui Bicri, beniamitul. El a sunat din trâmbiţă şi a zis: „Noi n-avem nicio parte cu David, nicio moştenire cu fiul lui Isai! Fiecare la cortul său, Israele!”

Now there happened to be there a worthless man, whose name was Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjaminite. And he blew the trumpet and said, “We have no portion in David, and we have no inheritance in the son of Jesse; every man to his tents, O Israel!”

Erre Sebához, Bikri fiához pártolt Dávidtól minden izráeli. A Júda nemzetségéből valók azonban királyuk mellett maradtak, a Jordán vizétől fogva egész Jeruzsálemig.

Eltávozék azért mind az Izráel népe Dávidtól Séba után, Bikri fia után. A Júda [nemzetség]éből valók azonban mellette maradának az ő királyoknak, a Jordán [vizétől] fogva mind Jeruzsálemig.

So every man of Israel went up from after David, and followed Sheba the son of Bichri: but the men of Judah clave unto their king, from Jordan even to Jerusalem.

Şi toţi bărbaţii lui Israel s-au depărtat de David şi au urmat pe Şeba, fiul lui Bicri. Dar bărbaţii lui Iuda au rămas credincioşi împăratului lor şi l-au însoţit de la Iordan până la Ierusalim.

So all the men of Israel withdrew from David and followed Sheba the son of Bichri. But the men of Judah followed their king steadfastly from the Jordan to Jerusalem.

Azután bement Dávid a jeruzsálemi palotájába, és előhozatta a király azt a tíz másodfeleségét, akiket otthon hagyott a ház őrzésére. Őrizet alá helyezte és ellátta őket élelemmel, de nem ment be hozzájuk. És őrizet alatt maradtak, özvegyi sorban, haláluk napjáig.

Bemenvén pedig Dávid az ő házába Jeruzsálemben, előhozatá a király azt a tíz ágyasát, a kiket otthon hagyott vala a ház őrzésére; és őrizet alá rekeszté és tápláltatá azokat; de hozzájok be nem méne. És őrizet alatt lőnek haláloknak napjáig, özvegységben élvén.

And David came to his house at Jerusalem; and the king took the ten women his concubines, whom he had left to keep the house, and put them in ward, and fed them, but went not in unto them. So they were shut up unto the day of their death, living in widowhood.

David a intrat iarăşi în casa lui, la Ierusalim. Împăratul a luat cele zece ţiitoare pe care le lăsase pentru paza casei şi le-a pus într-o casă sub pază; a îngrijit de ele, dar n-a intrat la ele. Şi au fost închise până în ziua morţii lor, trăind în văduvie.

And David came to his house at Jerusalem. And the king took the ten concubines whom he had left to care for the house and put them in a house under guard and provided for them, but did not go in to them. So they were shut up until the day of their death, living as if in widowhood.

Azután azt mondta a király Amászának: Gyűjtsd össze hozzám Júda nemzetségét három nap alatt, és te magad is legyél itt!

Monda pedig a király Amasának: Gyűjtsd össze nékem a Júda nemzetségét három nap alatt, és magad is itt légy jelen.

Then said the king to Amasa, Assemble me the men of Judah within three days, and be thou here present.

Împăratul a zis lui Amasa: „Cheamă-mi peste trei zile pe bărbaţii lui Iuda, şi tu să fii de faţă aici.”

Then the king said to Amasa, “Call the men of Judah together to me within three days, and be here yourself.”

Elment tehát Amászá, hogy összehívja a júdaiakat, de hosszabb ideig volt távol, mint ahogy a király meghagyta neki.

Elméne azért Amasa, hogy összegyűjtse Júdát, de több ideig késék, mint a hogy a [király] meghagyta vala néki.

So Amasa went to assemble the men of Judah: but he tarried longer than the set time which he had appointed him.

So Amasa went to summon Judah, but he delayed beyond the set time that had been appointed him.

Akkor Dávid azt mondta Abisajnak: Íme, Seba, Bikri fia még nagyobb bajt hoz ránk, mint Absolon. Vedd magad mellé urad szolgáit, és űzd el őt, nehogy erős városokat szerezzen magának, és elmeneküljön előlünk.

Monda akkor Dávid Abisainak: Ímé majd gonoszabbul cselekeszik velünk Séba, Bikrinek fia, Absolonnál: Vedd magad mellé a te uradnak szolgáit, és kergesd meg őt, nehogy erős városokat szerezzen magának, és elmeneküljön előlünk.

And David said to Abishai, Now shall Sheba the son of Bichri do us more harm than did Absalom: take thou thy lord's servants, and pursue after him, lest he get him fenced cities, and escape us.

David a zis atunci lui Abişai: „Şeba, fiul lui Bicri, ne va face acum mai mult rău decât Absalom. Ia tu însuţi pe slujitorii stăpânului tău şi urmăreşte-l, ca nu cumva să găsească cetăţi întărite şi să se ascundă dinaintea noastră.”

And David said to Abishai, “Now Sheba the son of Bichri will do us more harm than Absalom. Take your lord’s servants and pursue him, lest he get himself to fortified cities and escape from us.”

Kimentek tehát vele Jóáb emberei és a kerétiek, a pelétiek és a vitézek mind. Kimentek Jeruzsálemből, hogy üldözzék Sebát, Bikri fiát.

Kimenének azért ő utána a Joáb emberei, és a Kereteusok és Peleteusok és az erősek mindnyájan, és kimenének Jeruzsálemből, hogy üldözzék Sébát, Bikrinek fiát.

And there went out after him Joab's men, and the Cherethites, and the Pelethites, and all the mighty men: and they went out of Jerusalem, to pursue after Sheba the son of Bichri.

Şi Abişai a plecat, urmat de oamenii lui Ioab, de cheretiţi şi de peletiţi şi de toţi vitejii; au ieşit din Ierusalim, ca să urmărească pe Şeba, fiul lui Bicri.

And there went out after him Joab’s men and the Cherethites and the Pelethites, and all the mighty men. They went out from Jerusalem to pursue Sheba the son of Bichri.

Mikor pedig ahhoz a nagy kősziklához értek, amely Gibeónnál van, eléjük jött Amászá. Jóáb pedig harci ruhájába volt öltözve. A ruháján kívül, a derekához övezve, a hüvelyében volt a fegyvere, amely kiesett, ahogy ment.

Mikor pedig ama nagy kősziklánál voltak, mely Gibeonnál van, Amasa jöve eleikbe; Joáb pedig ruhájába öltözvén, az ő ruháján felül derekához övedzett fegyvere a hüvelyében vala, mely mikor [Joáb ]ment, leesék.

When they were at the great stone which is in Gibeon, Amasa went before them. And Joab's garment that he had put on was girded unto him, and upon it a girdle with a sword fastened upon his loins in the sheath thereof; and as he went forth it fell out.

Când au fost lângă piatra cea mare care este la Gabaon, Amasa a ajuns înaintea lor. Ioab era încins cu o sabie pe deasupra hainelor de război, cu care era îmbrăcat; ea era legată la coapsă şi stătea în teacă, şi când a înaintat Ioab, sabia a alunecat.

When they were at the great stone that is in Gibeon, Amasa came to meet them. Now Joab was wearing a soldier’s garment, and over it was a belt with a sword in its sheath fastened on his thigh, and as he went forward it fell out.

Jóáb megkérdezte Amászát: Jól vagy-e, testvérem? És Jóáb megfogta jobb kezével Amászá szakállát, mintha meg akarná csókolni.

És monda Joáb Amasának: Egészségben vagy-é atyámfia? És Joáb megfogá jobbkezével az Amasa szakálát, mintha meg akarná csókolni.

And Joab said to Amasa, Art thou in health, my brother? And Joab took Amasa by the beard with the right hand to kiss him.

Ioab a zis lui Amasa: „Eşti sănătos, frate?” Şi cu mâna dreaptă a apucat pe Amasa de barbă să-l sărute.

And Joab said to Amasa, “Is it well with you, my brother?” And Joab took Amasa by the beard with his right hand to kiss him.

Amászá nem is ügyelt a fegyverre, amely Jóáb kezében volt, így az átdöfte őt a hasán, és kiontotta belét a földre. Nem ütötte át többször, mert máris meghalt. Azután Jóáb és testvére, Abisaj tovább üldözte Sebát, Bikri fiát.

Amasa azonban nem őrizkedék a fegyvertől, mely Joáb kezében vala, és általüté őt az ötödik oldalborda alatt, és kiontá a bélit a földre, és noha többször nem üté által, mindazáltal meghala; Joáb pedig és Abisai, az ő atyjafia, üldözék azután Sébát, a Bikri fiát.

But Amasa took no heed to the sword that was in Joab's hand: so he smote him therewith in the fifth rib, and shed out his bowels to the ground, and struck him not again; and he died. So Joab and Abishai his brother pursued after Sheba the son of Bichri.

Amasa n-a luat seamă la sabia care era în mâna lui Ioab; şi Ioab l-a lovit cu ea în pântece şi i-a vărsat măruntaiele pe pământ, fără să-i mai dea o a doua lovitură. Şi Amasa a murit. Ioab şi fratele său Abişai au urmărit pe Şeba, fiul lui Bicri.

But Amasa did not observe the sword that was in Joab’s hand. So Joab struck him with it in the stomach and spilled his entrails to the ground without striking a second blow, and he died. Then Joab and Abishai his brother pursued Sheba the son of Bichri.

Amászá teste fölött pedig megállt Jóáb egyik szolgája, és ezt kiáltotta: Aki Jóábbal tart, és Dávid javát kívánja, siessen Jóáb után!

Megálla pedig az [Amasa] [teste] felett Joábnak egy szolgája, és monda: Valaki Joábbal tart és Dávidnak [javát] kívánja, Joáb után [siessen.]

And one of Joab's men stood by him, and said, He that favoureth Joab, and he that is for David, let him go after Joab.

Un bărbat dintre oamenii lui Ioab a rămas lângă Amasa şi zicea: „Cine vrea pe Ioab şi cine este pentru David? Să urmeze pe Ioab!”

And one of Joab’s young men took his stand by Amasa and said, “Whoever favors Joab, and whoever is for David, let him follow Joab.”

Amászá pedig ott feküdt vérében az út közepén. Az egyik ember, amikor látta, hogy mindenki megáll ott, kivonszolta Amászát az útról a mezőre, és egy ruhát vetett rá, mert látta, hogy aki csak arra megy, mind megáll mellette.

Amasa pedig fetreng vala a vérben az útnak közepén; látván pedig egy [ember,] hogy ott mindenki megálla, kivoná Amasát az útról a mezőre, és ruhát vete ő reá; mivel látta, hogy valaki csak arra ment, mind megállott.

And Amasa wallowed in blood in the midst of the highway. And when the man saw that all the people stood still, he removed Amasa out of the highway into the field, and cast a cloth upon him, when he saw that every one that came by him stood still.

Amasa se rostogolea în sânge în mijlocul drumului; şi omul acela, văzând că tot poporul se opreşte, a tras pe Amasa din drum pe un câmp şi a aruncat o haină pe el, când a văzut că toţi cei ce ajungeau lângă el se opreau.

And Amasa lay wallowing in his blood in the highway. And anyone who came by, seeing him, stopped. And when the man saw that all the people stopped, he carried Amasa out of the highway into the field and threw a garment over him.

Miután pedig kivonszolták az útról, mindenki Jóáb után sietett, hogy üldözzék Sebát, Bikri fiát.

Minekutána pedig kivonták az útról, minden ember Joáb után siet vala, hogy üldözzék Sébát, Bikrinek fiát.

When he was removed out of the highway, all the people went on after Joab, to pursue after Sheba the son of Bichri.

După ce a fost luat din drum, fiecare a urmat pe Ioab, ca să urmărească pe Şeba, fiul lui Bicri.

When he was taken out of the highway, all the people went on after Joab to pursue Sheba the son of Bichri.

Seba átvonult Izráel minden nemzetségén, egészen Ábél-Bét-Maakáig, és a bikriek mind összegyűltek, és követték őt.

És általméne [Séba] Izráelnek minden nemzetségein, Abelán és Béth- Maakán, és egész Béreán, kik egybegyűlvén, követik vala őt.

And he went through all the tribes of Israel unto Abel, and to Bethmaachah, and all the Berites: and they were gathered together, and went also after him.

Ioab a străbătut toate seminţiile lui Israel înspre Abel-Bet-Maaca, şi toţi bărbaţii de seamă s-au strâns şi l-au urmat.

And Sheba passed through all the tribes of Israel to Abel of Beth-maacah, and all the Bichrites assembled and followed him in.

De utolérték, körülfogták őt Ábél-Bét-Maakában, és a várossal szemben nagy töltést emeltek, amely akkora volt, mint a kőfal. Az egész nép, amely Jóábbal volt, rombolta a kőfalat, hogy ledöntse.

És eljövén, körülfogták őt Abelában Béth-Maaka [városában], és nagy töltést emelének a város ellen, mely a kőfallal egyenlő volt; és az egész nép, mely Joábbal vala, rombolá, hogy ledöntse a kőfalat,

And they came and besieged him in Abel of Bethmaachah, and they cast up a bank against the city, and it stood in the trench: and all the people that were with Joab battered the wall, to throw it down.

Au venit şi au împresurat pe Şeba în Abel-Bet-Maaca şi au ridicat împotriva cetăţii un val care atingea întăritura. Tot poporul care era cu Ioab săpa zidul ca să-l facă să cadă.

And all the men who were with Joab came and besieged him in Abel of Beth-maacah. They cast up a mound against the city, and it stood against the rampart, and they were battering the wall to throw it down.

Akkor a városból egy okos asszony így kiáltott: Hallgassatok ide, hallgassatok ide! Mondjátok meg, kérlek, Jóábnak: Jöjj ide, hadd beszéljek veled!

Akkor kiálta egy eszes asszony a városból: Halljátok meg, halljátok meg! Mondjátok meg, kérlek, Joábnak: Jőjj ide hozzám, valamit mondok néked!

Then cried a wise woman out of the city, Hear, hear; say, I pray you, unto Joab, Come near hither, that I may speak with thee.

Atunci o femeie înţeleaptă a început să strige din cetate: „Ascultaţi, ascultaţi! Spuneţi, vă rog, lui Ioab: „Apropie-te până aici, căci vreau să-ţi vorbesc!”

Then a wise woman called from the city, “Listen! Listen! Tell Joab, ‘Come here, that I may speak to you.’”

Amikor odament hozzá, akkor megkérdezte az asszony: Te vagy-e Jóáb? Így felelt: Én vagyok. Akkor ezt mondta neki: Hallgasd meg szolgálóleányod szavát. Ő így felelt: Hallgatom.

Ki mikor hozzá ment, monda az asszony: Te vagy-é Joáb? Felele: Én vagyok. Ki monda néki: Hallgasd meg a te szolgálóleányodnak szavát. És felele: Meghallgatom.

And when he was come near unto her, the woman said, Art thou Joab? And he answered, I am he. Then she said unto him, Hear the words of thine handmaid. And he answered, I do hear.

El s-a apropiat de ea, şi femeia a zis: „Tu eşti Ioab?” El a răspuns: „Eu sunt.” Şi ea i-a zis: „Ascultă vorbele roabei tale.” El a răspuns: „Ascult.”

And he came near her, and the woman said, “Are you Joab?” He answered, “I am.” Then she said to him, “Listen to the words of your servant.” And he answered, “I am listening.”

Ekkor azt mondta az asszony: Régebben azt szokták mondani, Ábélban kell tanácsot kérni, akkor jól határoztok.

Akkor monda az [asszony]: Korábban azt szokták mondani: Kérdezzék meg Abelát, és úgy végeztek.

Then she spake, saying, They were wont to speak in old time, saying, They shall surely ask counsel at Abel: and so they ended the matter.

Şi ea a zis: „Odinioară era obiceiul să se spună: „Să întrebăm în Abel!” Şi totul se isprăvea astfel.

Then she said, “They used to say in former times, ‘Let them but ask counsel at Abel,’ and so they settled a matter.

Én Izráel békeszerető hívei közül való vagyok, te pedig el akarsz pusztítani egy várost és egy anyát is Izráelben? Miért akarod elpusztítani az ÚR örökségét?

Én Izráel békeszerető hívei közül való vagyok, te pedig el akarsz pusztítani egy várost és anyát Izráelben? Miért akarod elnyelni az Úrnak örökségét?

I am one of them that are peaceable and faithful in Israel: thou seekest to destroy a city and a mother in Israel: why wilt thou swallow up the inheritance of the LORD?

Eu sunt una din cetăţile liniştite şi credincioase din Israel; şi tu cauţi să pierzi o cetate care este o mamă în Israel! Pentru ce ai nimici tu moştenirea Domnului?”

I am one of those who are peaceable and faithful in Israel. You seek to destroy a city that is a mother in Israel. Why will you swallow up the heritage of the LORD?”

Akkor Jóáb így felelt: Távol legyen, távol legyen tőlem, hogy elpusztítsam és elveszítsem azt!

Akkor felele Joáb, és monda: Távol legyen, távol legyen az én tőlem, hogy elnyeljem és elveszessem!

And Joab answered and said, Far be it, far be it from me, that I should swallow up or destroy.

Ioab a răspuns: „Departe, departe de mine gândul să nimicesc sau să dărâm!

Joab answered, “Far be it from me, far be it, that I should swallow up or destroy!

Nem úgy van a dolog, hanem egy Efraim hegységéből való ember, név szerint Seba, Bikri fia, fölemelte kezét Dávid király ellen. Adjátok kezünkbe őt magát, és én elvonulok a város alól. Az asszony azt válaszolta Jóábnak: Íme, majd a kőfalon átdobjuk neked a fejét.

Nem úgy van a dolog, hanem egy ember az Efraim hegységéből való, a kinek neve Séba, a Bikri fia, felemelte kezét Dávid király ellen: adjátok kézbe azt egyedül, és elmegyek a város alól. És monda az asszony Joábnak: Ímé majd kivetjük a kőfalon a fejét néked.

The matter is not so: but a man of mount Ephraim, Sheba the son of Bichri by name, hath lifted up his hand against the king, even against David: deliver him only, and I will depart from the city. And the woman said unto Joab, Behold, his head shall be thrown to thee over the wall.

Nu este aşa! Dar un om din muntele lui Efraim, numit Şeba, fiul lui Bicri, a ridicat mâna împotriva împăratului David; daţi-l încoace numai pe el, şi mă voi depărta de cetate.” Femeia a zis lui Ioab: „Iată, capul lui îţi va fi aruncat peste zid.”

That is not true. But a man of the hill country of Ephraim, called Sheba the son of Bichri, has lifted up his hand against King David. Give up him alone, and I will withdraw from the city.” And the woman said to Joab, “Behold, his head shall be thrown to you over the wall.”

Azután az asszony nagyon eszesen az egész néphez fordult, és levágatta Sebának, Bikri fiának a fejét, majd kidobták azt Jóábnak. Akkor ő megfúvatta a kürtöt, és szétoszlottak a város alól, mindenki a maga sátrába. Jóáb pedig hazament Jeruzsálembe a királyhoz.

Elméne azért az asszony nagy eszesen az egész községhez, és elvágatá Sébának, a Bikri fiának fejét, és kiveték Joábnak. Akkor megfuvatá a trombitát, és hazaoszlának a város alól kiki az ő sátorába, Joáb pedig hazaméne Jeruzsálembe, a királyhoz.

Then the woman went unto all the people in her wisdom. And they cut off the head of Sheba the son of Bichri, and cast it out to Joab. And he blew a trumpet, and they retired from the city, every man to his tent. And Joab returned to Jerusalem unto the king.

Şi femeia s-a dus şi a înduplecat pe tot poporul cu înţelepciunea ei; au tăiat capul lui Şeba, fiul lui Bicri, şi l-au aruncat lui Ioab. Ioab a sunat din trâmbiţă; s-au împrăştiat de lângă cetate şi fiecare s-a dus în cortul lui. Şi Ioab s-a întors la Ierusalim, la împărat.

Then the woman went to all the people in her wisdom. And they cut off the head of Sheba the son of Bichri and threw it out to Joab. So he blew the trumpet, and they dispersed from the city, every man to his home. And Joab returned to Jerusalem to the king.

Jóáb Izráel egész seregének élén állt, Benájá, Jójádá fia pedig a kerétiek és a pelétiek parancsnoka volt.

Joáb pedig Izráel egész serege felett való volt, Benája pedig, Jójadának fia, a Kereteusok és Peleteusok vezére vala.

Now Joab was over all the host of Israel: and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and over the Pelethites:

Ioab era mai mare peste toată oştirea lui Israel; Benaia, fiul lui Iehoiada, era în fruntea cheretiţilor şi a peletiţilor;

Now Joab was in command of all the army of Israel; and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was in command of the Cherethites and the Pelethites;

Adórám a robotosok felügyelője volt, Jósáfát, Ahilúd fia pedig kancellár.

Adorám pedig adószedő, és Jósafát, Ahiludnak fia, emlékíró vala.

And Adoram was over the tribute: and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder:

Adoram era mai mare peste dări; Iosafat, fiul lui Ahilud, era scriitor (arhivar);

and Adoram was in charge of the forced labor; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was the recorder;

Sejá jegyző volt, Cádók és Ebjátár pedig pap.

Séja íródeák, Sádók pedig és Abjátár papok valának.

And Sheva was scribe: and Zadok and Abiathar were the priests:

Şeia era logofăt; Ţadoc şi Abiatar erau preoţi;

and Sheva was secretary; and Zadok and Abiathar were priests;

A Jáírból való Írá is Dávid papja volt.

A Jairból való Ira is Dávidnak fő embere vala.

And Ira also the Jairite was a chief ruler about David.

şi Ira din Iair era slujbaş de stat al lui David.

and Ira the Jairite was also David’s priest.
