Az esztendő fordulójakor pedig, amikor a királyok hadba szoktak vonulni, elküldte Dávid Jóábot és vele a szolgáit és egész Izráelt, hogy veszítsék el Ammón fiait, és szállják meg Rabbá városát. Dávid pedig Jeruzsálemben maradt.

Lőn pedig az esztendő fordulásakor, mikor a királyok [hadba] szoktak menni, elküldé Dávid Joábot és az ő szolgáit ő vele, és mind az egész Izráelt, hogy elveszessék az Ammon fiait, és megszállják Rabba [városát;] Dávid pedig Jeruzsálemben maradt.

And it came to pass, after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle, that David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried still at Jerusalem.

În anul următor, pe vremea când porneau împăraţii la război, David a trimis pe Ioab, cu slujitorii lui şi tot Israelul, să pustiască ţara lui Amon şi să împresoare Raba. Dar David a rămas la Ierusalim.

In the spring of the year, the time when kings go out to battle, David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel. And they ravaged the Ammonites and besieged Rabbah. But David remained at Jerusalem.

Egyszer estefelé, amikor Dávid fölkelt fekhelyéről, és a királyi palota tetején sétált, a tetőről meglátott egy asszonyt, amint éppen fürdött. Igen szép termetű volt.

És lőn estefelé, mikor felkelt Dávid az ő ágyából, és a királyi palota tetején sétála: láta a tetőről egy asszonyt fürdeni, ki igen szép termetű vala.

And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king's house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon.

Într-o după amiază spre seară, David s-a sculat de pe pat; şi pe când se plimba pe acoperişul casei împărăteşti, a zărit de acolo o femeie care se scălda şi care era foarte frumoasă la chip.

It happened, late one afternoon, when David arose from his couch and was walking on the roof of the king’s house, that he saw from the roof a woman bathing; and the woman was very beautiful.

Dávid elküldött, és tudakozódott az asszony felől. Valaki azt mondta: Hiszen ez Betsabé, Eliám leánya, a hettita Úriás felesége.

És elkülde Dávid, és tudakozódék az asszony felől, és monda [egy ember:] Nemde nem ez-é Bethsabé, Eliámnak leánya, a Hitteus Uriás felesége?

And David sent and enquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?

David a întrebat cine este femeia aceasta, şi i-au spus: „Este Bat-Şeba, fata lui Eliam, nevasta lui Urie, hetitul.”

And David sent and inquired about the woman. And one said, “Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?”

Akkor követeket küldött Dávid, és elhozatta őt. Erre az bement hozzá, vele hált, és miután tisztátalanságából megtisztult, hazament.

Akkor követeket külde Dávid, és elhozatá őt; ki beméne ő hozzá, és vele hála, mikor az ő tisztátalanságából megtisztult; és annakutána visszaméne az ő házához.

And David sent messengers, and took her; and she came in unto him, and he lay with her; for she was purified from her uncleanness: and she returned unto her house.

Şi David a trimis nişte oameni s-o aducă. Ea a venit la el, şi el s-a culcat cu ea. După ce s-a curăţat de necurăţia ei, ea s-a întors acasă.

So David sent messengers and took her, and she came to him, and he lay with her. (Now she had been purifying herself from her uncleanness.) Then she returned to her house.

Ám az asszony fogant méhében, és ezt az üzenetet küldte Dávidnak: Várandós lettem!

És fogada méhében az asszony, és elküldvén, megizené Dávidnak ilyen szóval: Teherbe estem!

And the woman conceived, and sent and told David, and said, I am with child.

Femeia a rămas însărcinată şi a trimis vorbă lui David, zicând: „Sunt însărcinată.”

And the woman conceived, and she sent and told David, “I am pregnant.”

Akkor Dávid azt üzente Jóábnak: Küldd haza hozzám a hettita Úriást. Jóáb el is küldte Úriást Dávidhoz.

Akkor Dávid izene Joábnak: Küldd [haza] hozzám a Hitteus Uriást; és elküldé Joáb Uriást Dávidhoz.

And David sent to Joab, saying, Send me Uriah the Hittite. And Joab sent Uriah to David.

Atunci David a trimis următoarea poruncă lui Ioab: „Trimite-mi pe Urie, hetitul.” Şi Ioab a trimis pe Urie la David.

So David sent word to Joab, “Send me Uriah the Hittite.” And Joab sent Uriah to David.

Mikor pedig Úriás megérkezett hozzá, megkérdezte őt Dávid Jóáb helyzete, a nép helyzete és a harc folyása felől.

Mikor pedig eljutott Uriás ő hozzá, megkérdé őt Dávid Joábnak békessége felől, a népnek békessége felől és a harcz folyása felől.

And when Uriah was come unto him, David demanded of him how Joab did, and how the people did, and how the war prospered.

When Uriah came to him, David asked how Joab was doing and how the people were doing and how the war was going.

And David said to Uriah, Go down to thy house, and wash thy feet. And Uriah departed out of the king's house, and there followed him a mess of meat from the king.

Apoi David a zis lui Urie: „Coboară-te acasă şi spală-ţi picioarele.” Urie a ieşit din casa împărătească şi a fost urmat de un dar din partea împăratului.

Then David said to Uriah, “Go down to your house and wash your feet.” And Uriah went out of the king’s house, and there followed him a present from the king.

But Uriah slept at the door of the king's house with all the servants of his lord, and went not down to his house.

Dar Urie s-a culcat la poarta casei împărăteşti, cu toţi slujitorii stăpânului său, şi nu s-a coborât acasă la el.

But Uriah slept at the door of the king’s house with all the servants of his lord, and did not go down to his house.

Amikor jelentették Dávidnak, hogy nem ment le Úriás a házához, Dávid azt mondta Úriásnak: Messzi útról jöttél, miért nem mentél le a házadhoz?

És megjelenték Dávidnak, mondván: Nem ment le Uriás az ő házához. Akkor monda Dávid Uriásnak: Nemde nem útról jöttél-é? Miért nem mentél le a te házadhoz?

And when they had told David, saying, Uriah went not down unto his house, David said unto Uriah, Camest thou not from thy journey? why then didst thou not go down unto thine house?

Au dat de ştire lui David despre aceasta şi i-au spus: „Urie nu s-a coborât la el acasă.” Şi David a zis lui Urie: „Nu vii tu oare din călătorie? Pentru ce nu te-ai coborât acasă?”

When they told David, “Uriah did not go down to his house,” David said to Uriah, “Have you not come from a journey? Why did you not go down to your house?”

Úriás így felelt: Isten ládája, Izráel és Júda nemzetsége sátorban lakik, és az én uram, Jóáb, és uram szolgái a nyílt mezőn táboroznak. Hogy mennék be a házamba, hogy egyem és igyam, és feleségemmel háljak? A lelked életére mondom, hogy nem teszem ezt!

Felele Uriás Dávidnak: Az [Isten] ládája, Izráel és Júda [nemzetsége] sátorokban laknak, és az én uram Joáb, és az én uramnak szolgái a nyilt mezőn táboroznak: hogy mennék én be az én házamba, hogy egyem és igyam és feleségemmel háljak? Úgy élj te és úgy éljen a te lelked, hogy nem mívelem azt!

And Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah, abide in tents; and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are encamped in the open fields; shall I then go into mine house, to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? as thou livest, and as thy soul liveth, I will not do this thing.

Urie a răspuns lui David: „Chivotul şi Israel şi Iuda locuiesc în corturi, domnul meu Ioab şi slujitorii domnului meu sunt tăbărâţi în câmp, şi eu să intru în casă să mănânc şi să beau şi să mă culc cu nevasta mea!? Viu eşti tu şi viu este sufletul tău, că nu voi face lucrul acesta.”

Uriah said to David, “The ark and Israel and Judah dwell in booths, and my lord Joab and the servants of my lord are camping in the open field. Shall I then go to my house, to eat and to drink and to lie with my wife? As you live, and as your soul lives, I will not do this thing.”

Erre Dávid azt mondta Úriásnak: Maradj itt ma is, és holnap elbocsátalak. Ott maradt tehát Úriás Jeruzsálemben aznap és másnap is.

Monda azért Dávid Uriásnak: Maradj itt ma is, és holnap elbocsátlak. Ott marada azért Uriás Jeruzsálemben az nap és más napra kelve is.

And David said to Uriah, Tarry here to day also, and to morrow I will let thee depart. So Uriah abode in Jerusalem that day, and the morrow.

David a zis lui Urie: „Mai rămâi şi astăzi aici, şi mâine îţi voi da drumul.” Şi Urie a rămas la Ierusalim în ziua aceea şi a doua zi.

Then David said to Uriah, “Remain here today also, and tomorrow I will send you back.” So Uriah remained in Jerusalem that day and the next.

Ezután hívatta Dávid, és vele evett és ivott, és lerészegítette őt. Úriás kiment este aludni a fekvőhelyére urának szolgáival együtt, de a saját házához nem ment le.

And when David had called him, he did eat and drink before him; and he made him drunk: and at even he went out to lie on his bed with the servants of his lord, but went not down to his house.

David l-a poftit să mănânce şi să bea cu el şi l-a îmbătat; şi seara Urie a ieşit şi s-a culcat cu slujitorii stăpânului său, dar nu s-a coborât acasă.

And David invited him, and he ate in his presence and drank, so that he made him drunk. And in the evening he went out to lie on his couch with the servants of his lord, but he did not go down to his house.

Miután pedig megvirradt, Dávid levelet írt Jóábnak, amelyet Úriással küldött el.

And it came to pass in the morning, that David wrote a letter to Joab, and sent it by the hand of Uriah.

A doua zi dimineaţa, David a scris o scrisoare lui Ioab şi a trimis-o prin Urie.

In the morning David wrote a letter to Joab and sent it by the hand of Uriah.

Ezt írta a levélben: Állítsátok Úriást az első sorba, ahol leghevesebb a harc, és fussatok el mögüle, hogy megöljék és meghaljon.

Írá pedig a levélben, mondván: Állassátok Uriást legelől, a hol a harcz leghevesebb és háta mögül fussatok el, hogy megölettessék és meghaljon.

And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, and die.

În scrisoarea aceasta scria: „Puneţi pe Urie în locul cel mai greu al luptei şi trageţi-vă înapoi de la el, ca să fie lovit şi să moară.”

In the letter he wrote, “Set Uriah in the forefront of the hardest fighting, and then draw back from him, that he may be struck down, and die.”

Jóáb tehát, amikor a várost ostromolta, Úriást olyan helyre állította, ahol tudta, hogy erős vitézek vannak.

And it came to pass, when Joab observed the city, that he assigned Uriah unto a place where he knew that valiant men were.

And as Joab was besieging the city, he assigned Uriah to the place where he knew there were valiant men.

Amikor kitört a városbeli nép, és megvívott Jóábbal, elhullottak néhányan a nép közül, Dávid szolgái közül, és a hettita Úriás is meghalt.

Kijövén azért a városbeli nép, megharczolának Joábbal, és elhullának [egyesek] a nép közül, Dávid szolgái közül, és a Hitteus Uriás is meghala.

And the men of the city went out, and fought with Joab: and there fell some of the people of the servants of David; and Uriah the Hittite died also.

Oamenii din cetate au făcut o ieşire şi s-au bătut împotriva lui Ioab; au căzut mulţi din popor, din slujitorii lui David, şi a fost ucis şi Urie, hetitul.

And the men of the city came out and fought with Joab, and some of the servants of David among the people fell. Uriah the Hittite also died.

Akkor Jóáb követet küldött, és megüzente Dávidnak az ütközet egész lefolyását.

[Követet] külde akkor Joáb, és megizené Dávidnak az ütközetnek egész lefolyását.

Then Joab sent and told David all the things concerning the war;

Ioab a trimis un sol să istorisească lui David tot ce se petrecuse în luptă.

Then Joab sent and told David all the news about the fighting.

Ezt parancsolta a követnek: Ha az ütközet egész lefolyását teljesen elmesélted a királynak,

És megparancsolá a követnek, mondván: Ha az ütközetnek egész lefolyását teljesen előadtad a királynak,

And charged the messenger, saying, When thou hast made an end of telling the matters of the war unto the king,

Şi a dat solului următoarea poruncă: „Când vei isprăvi de istorisit împăratului toate amănuntele luptei,

And he instructed the messenger, “When you have finished telling all the news about the fighting to the king,

és ha a király haragra lobbanva azt mondja neked: „Miért mentetek olyan közel a városhoz harcolni; hát nem tudtátok, hogy a kőfalról lövöldöznek?

És ha a király haragra lobbanva azt mondja néked: Miért mentetek olyan közel a városhoz harczolni? Avagy nem tudtátok-é, hogy lelövöldöznek a kőfalról?

And if so be that the king's wrath arise, and he say unto thee, Wherefore approached ye so nigh unto the city when ye did fight? knew ye not that they would shoot from the wall?

poate că se va mânia şi va zice: „Pentru ce v-aţi apropiat de cetate să luptaţi împotriva ei? Nu ştiaţi că se aruncă săgeţi din vârful zidului?

then, if the king’s anger rises, and if he says to you, ‘Why did you go so near the city to fight? Did you not know that they would shoot from the wall?

Hát ki ölte meg Abímeleket, Jerubbeset fiát? Nem egy asszony ütötte-e agyon a kőfalról egy malomkődarabbal, és ezért halt meg Tébecben? Hát miért mentetek közel a kőfalhoz?”, akkor mondd meg: Szolgád, a hettita Úriás is meghalt.

Kicsoda ölte meg Abiméleket, a Jérubbóset fiát? Nemde nem egy asszony üté-é agyon a kőfalról egy malomkődarabbal és meghala Tébesben? [Azért] miért mentetek közel a kőfalhoz? Akkor mondd meg: A te szolgád a Hitteus Uriás is meghalt.

Who smote Abimelech the son of Jerubbesheth? did not a woman cast a piece of a millstone upon him from the wall, that he died in Thebez? why went ye nigh the wall? then say thou, Thy servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also.

Cine a omorât pe Abimelec, fiul lui Ierubeşet? Nu o femeie, care a aruncat peste el din vârful zidului o piatră de moară, şi n-a murit el la Tebeţ? Pentru ce v-aţi apropiat de zid?” Atunci să-i spui: „A murit şi robul tău Urie, hetitul.”

Who killed Abimelech the son of Jerubbesheth? Did not a woman cast an upper millstone on him from the wall, so that he died at Thebez? Why did you go so near the wall?’ then you shall say, ‘Your servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also.’”

Elment tehát a követ, és amikor megérkezett, elbeszélte Dávidnak mindazt, amivel Jóáb megbízta.

So the messenger went, and came and shewed David all that Joab had sent him for.

So the messenger went and came and told David all that Joab had sent him to tell.

A követ elmondta: Azok az emberek erőt vettek fölöttünk, és kijöttek ellenünk a mezőre, de visszaűztük őket a kapu bejáratáig.

És monda a követ Dávidnak: Azok az emberek erőt vettek felettünk, és a mezőre kijöttek ellenünk, de mi visszaűztük őket a kapu bejáratáig;

And the messenger said unto David, Surely the men prevailed against us, and came out unto us into the field, and we were upon them even unto the entering of the gate.

Solul a zis lui David: „Oamenii aceia au fost mai tari decât noi; făcuseră o ieşire împotriva noastră în câmp şi i-am dat înapoi până la intrarea porţii,

The messenger said to David, “The men gained an advantage over us and came out against us in the field, but we drove them back to the entrance of the gate.

De a kőfalról nyíllal lövöldöztek szolgáidra, és a király szolgái közül néhányan meghaltak. Szolgád, a hettita Úriás is meghalt.

Azonban a kőfalról lövöldözének a nyilasok a te szolgáidra, és a király szolgái közül [egyesek] meghaltak; és a te szolgád, a Hitteus Uriás is meghalt.

And the shooters shot from off the wall upon thy servants; and some of the king's servants be dead, and thy servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also.

dar arcaşii au tras de pe vârful zidului asupra slujitorilor tăi, şi mulţi din slujitorii împăratului au fost ucişi, şi a murit şi robul tău Urie, hetitul.”

Then the archers shot at your servants from the wall. Some of the king’s servants are dead, and your servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also.”

Dávid azt mondta a követnek: Ezt mondd Jóábnak: Ne bánkódjál emiatt, mert a fegyver egyszer ezt, másszor azt pusztítja el. Támadj még erősebben a város ellen, hogy elpusztíthasd. Így biztasd őt.

Monda azért Dávid a követnek: Ezt mondjad Joábnak: Ne bánkódjál a miatt; mert a fegyver úgy megemészt egyet, mint mást. Fokozzad azért támadásodat a város ellen, hogy elpusztítsad azt. Így biztasd őt.

Then David said unto the messenger, Thus shalt thou say unto Joab, Let not this thing displease thee, for the sword devoureth one as well as another: make thy battle more strong against the city, and overthrow it: and encourage thou him.

David a zis solului: „Iată ce să spui lui Ioab: „Nu te munci pentru întâmplarea aceasta, căci sabia doboară când pe unul când pe altul; bate cetatea cu putere, dărâm-o. Şi tu îmbărbătează-l!”

David said to the messenger, “Thus shall you say to Joab, ‘Do not let this matter displease you, for the sword devours now one and now another. Strengthen your attack against the city and overthrow it.’ And encourage him.”

Amikor Úriás felesége meghallotta, hogy meghalt a férje, elsiratta őt.

Meghallá pedig Uriásnak felesége, hogy meghalt Uriás, az ő férje, és siratá az ő férjét.

And when the wife of Uriah heard that Uriah her husband was dead, she mourned for her husband.

Nevasta lui Urie a aflat că bărbatul ei murise şi a plâns pe bărbatul ei.

When the wife of Uriah heard that Uriah her husband was dead, she lamented over her husband.

És amikor a gyász ideje letelt, Dávid érte küldött, és házába vitette. Felesége lett, és szült neki egy fiút. De ez a dolog nem tetszett az ÚRnak.

És mikor a gyászolás[nak ideje] eltelt, érette külde Dávid és házába viteté őt és lőn néki felesége, és szüle néki egy fiat. De ez a dolog, a melyet Dávid cselekedett, nem tetszék az Úrnak.

And when the mourning was past, David sent and fetched her to his house, and she became his wife, and bare him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the LORD.

După ce au trecut zilele de jale, David a trimis s-o ia şi a primit-o în casa lui. Ea i-a fost nevastă şi i-a născut un fiu. Fapta lui David n-a plăcut Domnului.

And when the mourning was over, David sent and brought her to his house, and she became his wife and bore him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the LORD.
