Ezek után Dávid megkérdezte az URat: Fölmenjek-e Júda valamelyik városába? Így felelt neki az ÚR: Menj föl. Dávid azt kérdezte: Hova menjek? Ő így felelt: Hebrónba.

Ezek után lőn, hogy megkérdezé Dávid az Urat, mondván: Felmenjek-é Júdának valamelyik városába? Kinek felele az Úr: Menj fel. És monda Dávid: Hová menjek? Felele: Hebronba.

And it came to pass after this, that David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And the LORD said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.

După aceea, David a întrebat pe Domnul: „Să mă sui în vreuna din cetăţile lui Iuda?” Domnul i-a răspuns: „Suie-te.” David a zis: „Unde să mă sui?” Şi Domnul a răspuns: „La Hebron.”

After this David inquired of the LORD, “Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah?” And the LORD said to him, “Go up.” David said, “To which shall I go up?” And he said, “To Hebron.”

Ezért fölment oda Dávid és két felesége is, a jezréeli Ahinóam és Abigail, a karmeli Nábál özvegye.

Felméne azért oda Dávid és az ő két felesége is, Ahinoám, a Jezréelből való, és Abigail, a Karmelből való, Nábál felesége.

So David went up thither, and his two wives also, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail Nabal's wife the Carmelite.

So David went up there, and his two wives also, Ahinoam of Jezreel and Abigail the widow of Nabal of Carmel.

Vele lévő embereit is fölvitte Dávid, mindenkit a maga háza népével együtt, és Hebrón városaiban laktak.

És embereit is, a kik vele valának, felvivé Dávid, kit- kit a maga házanépével, és lakának Hebron városaiban.

And his men that were with him did David bring up, every man with his household: and they dwelt in the cities of Hebron.

David a luat cu el şi pe oamenii care erau la el, pe fiecare cu casa lui; şi au locuit în cetăţile Hebronului.

And David brought up his men who were with him, everyone with his household, and they lived in the towns of Hebron.

Azután eljöttek Júda férfiai, és fölkenték ott Dávidot Júda házának királyává. Mikor pedig megjelentették Dávidnak, hogy a jábés-gileádi emberek voltak azok, akik eltemették Sault,

És eljövének Júda férfiai, és ott felkenék Dávidot királynak a Júda házán. Mikor pedig megjelentették Dávidnak, mondván: A Gileádból való Jábes emberei voltak azok, kik eltemették Sault;

And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, That the men of Jabeshgilead were they that buried Saul.

Bărbaţii lui Iuda au venit şi au uns acolo pe David ca împărat peste casa lui Iuda. Au dat de ştire lui David că oamenii din Iabesul Galaadului au îngropat pe Saul.

And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah. When they told David, “It was the men of Jabesh-gilead who buried Saul,”

követeket küldött Dávid a jábés-gileádi emberekhez, és ezt üzente nekik: Áldottak vagytok az ÚRtól ti, akik ezt az irgalmasságot cselekedtétek uratokkal, Saullal, hogy eltemettétek.

Követeket külde Dávid a Gileádból való Jábes embereihez, és ezt izené néki: Áldottak vagytok ti az Úrtól, kik ezt az irgalmasságot cselekedtétek a ti uratokkal, Saullal, hogy eltemettétek;

And David sent messengers unto the men of Jabeshgilead, and said unto them, Blessed be ye of the LORD, that ye have shewed this kindness unto your lord, even unto Saul, and have buried him.

David a trimis nişte soli oamenilor din Iabesul Galaadului să le spună: „Binecuvântaţi să fiţi de Domnul, fiindcă aţi arătat astfel bunăvoinţă faţă de Saul, stăpânul vostru, şi l-aţi îngropat!

David sent messengers to the men of Jabesh-gilead and said to them, “May you be blessed by the LORD, because you showed this loyalty to Saul your lord and buried him.

Azért most az ÚR is cselekedjék veletek irgalmasságot és igazságot. Sőt én is jót teszek veletek, mivel ezt cselekedtétek.

Annakokáért most az Úr cselekedjék veletek irgalmasságot és igazságot; sőt én is ezt a jót teszem veletek, hogy ezt cselekedtétek;

And now the LORD shew kindness and truth unto you: and I also will requite you this kindness, because ye have done this thing.

Şi acum, Domnul să vă arate bunătate şi credincioşie! Vă voi face şi eu bine, pentru că v-aţi purtat astfel.

Now may the LORD show steadfast love and faithfulness to you. And I will do good to you because you have done this thing.

Most azért erősítsétek meg kezeteket, és legyetek bátor férfiak, mert meghalt a ti uratok, Saul, és immár engem királlyá kent Júda háza maga fölött.

Most azért a ti kezeitek erősödjenek meg, és legyetek erős férfiak, mert megholt a ti uratok Saul, és immár engem felkent királynak Júda háza önmagán.

Therefore now let your hands be strengthened, and be ye valiant: for your master Saul is dead, and also the house of Judah have anointed me king over them.

Să vi se întărească mâinile şi fiţi viteji; căci stăpânul vostru Saul a murit, şi pe mine m-a uns casa lui Iuda împărat peste ea.”

Now therefore let your hands be strong, and be valiant, for Saul your lord is dead, and the house of Judah has anointed me king over them.”

De Abnér, Nér fia, aki Saul fővezére volt, fölvette Ísbósetet, Saul fiát, elvitte Mahanaimba,

Abner pedig, a Nér fia, a ki Saulnak fővezére [vala], felvevé Isbósetet, a Saul fiát, és elvivé Mahanáimba.

But Abner the son of Ner, captain of Saul's host, took Ishbosheth the son of Saul, and brought him over to Mahanaim;

Însă Abner, fiul lui Ner, căpetenia oştirii lui Saul, a luat pe Iş-Boşet, fiul lui Saul, şi l-a trecut la Mahanaim.

But Abner the son of Ner, commander of Saul’s army, took Ish-bosheth the son of Saul and brought him over to Mahanaim,

és királlyá tette őt Gileád, az ásériek és Jezréel városa fölött, Efraim és Benjámin nemzetsége fölött; az egész Izráelen.

És királylyá tette őt Gileádon, Asuron és Jezréel [város]án, és az Efraim és Benjámin [nemzetség]ein, és az egész Izráelen.

And made him king over Gilead, and over the Ashurites, and over Jezreel, and over Ephraim, and over Benjamin, and over all Israel.

L-a pus împărat peste Galaad, peste fheşuriţi, peste Izreel, peste Efraim, peste Beniamin, peste tot Israelul.

and he made him king over Gilead and the Ashurites and Jezreel and Ephraim and Benjamin and all Israel.

Negyvenesztendős volt Ísbóset, Saul fia, amikor uralkodni kezdett Izráelen, és két esztendeig uralkodott. Csak Júda háza követte Dávidot.

Negyven esztendős [vala] Isbóset, Saul fia, mikor uralkodni kezde Izráelen, és két esztendeig uralkodék. Csak Júdának háza követé Dávidot.

Ishbosheth Saul's son was forty years old when he began to reign over Israel, and reigned two years. But the house of Judah followed David.

Iş-Boşet, fiul lui Saul, era în vârstă de patruzeci de ani, când s-a făcut împărat al lui Israel, şi a domnit doi ani. Numai casa lui Iuda a rămas lipită de David.

Ish-bosheth, Saul’s son, was forty years old when he began to reign over Israel, and he reigned two years. But the house of Judah followed David.

Az az idő, amíg Dávid Hebrónban volt király Júda házán, hét esztendő és hat hónap volt.

Lőn pedig az időnek száma, míg Dávid király volt Hebronban Júdának házán, hét esztendő és hat hónap.

And the time that David was king in Hebron over the house of Judah was seven years and six months.

And the time that David was king in Hebron over the house of Judah was seven years and six months.

És Abnér, Nér fia és Ísbósetnek, Saul fiának a szolgái elmentek Mahanaimból Gibeónba.

És elméne Abner, a Nér fia, és Isbósetnek, a Saul fiának szolgái Mahanáimból Gibeonba.

And Abner the son of Ner, and the servants of Ishbosheth the son of Saul, went out from Mahanaim to Gibeon.

Abner, fiul lui Ner, şi oamenii lui Iş-Boşet, fiul lui Saul, au ieşit din Mahanaim ca să meargă asupra Gabaonului.

Abner the son of Ner, and the servants of Ish-bosheth the son of Saul, went out from Mahanaim to Gibeon.

Jóáb, Cerújá fia és Dávid szolgái is kivonultak, és összetalálkoztak velük a gibeóni halastónál. Ezek a halastavon innen maradtak, azok pedig a halastavon túl.

Joáb is Sérujának fia, és a Dávid szolgái elmenvén, összetalálkozának azokkal a Gibeon halastavánál, és maradának ezek a halastón innét, amazok pedig a halastón túl.

And Joab the son of Zeruiah, and the servants of David, went out, and met together by the pool of Gibeon: and they sat down, the one on the one side of the pool, and the other on the other side of the pool.

Ioab, fiul Ţeruiei, şi oamenii lui David, au pornit şi ei. S-au întâlnit la iazul din Gabaon şi s-au oprit unii dincoace de iaz, şi ceilalţi dincolo.

And Joab the son of Zeruiah and the servants of David went out and met them at the pool of Gibeon. And they sat down, the one on the one side of the pool, and the other on the other side of the pool.

Akkor ezt mondta Abnér Jóábnak: Rajta, álljon elő néhány ifjú, és vívjanak meg előttünk. Jóáb azt mondta: Hát álljanak elő!

Akkor monda Abner Joábnak: Nosza álljanak elő néhányan az ifjak, és viaskodjanak előttünk. És monda Joáb: Hát álljanak elő.

And Abner said to Joab, Let the young men now arise, and play before us. And Joab said, Let them arise.

Abner a zis lui Ioab: „Să se scoale tinerii aceştia şi să se bată înaintea noastră!” Ioab a răspuns: „Să se scoale!”

And Abner said to Joab, “Let the young men arise and compete before us.” And Joab said, “Let them arise.”

Fölkeltek tehát, és egyenlő számban átmentek Benjáminból, Saul fiának, Ísbósetnek a seregéből tizenketten, és Dávid szolgái közül is tizenketten.

Felkelének azért és [egyenlő] számban általmenének a Benjámin [nemzeté]ből és a Saul fiának, Isbósetnek [seregé]ből tizenketten, és a Dávid szolgái közül [is] tizenketten.

Then there arose and went over by number twelve of Benjamin, which pertained to Ishbosheth the son of Saul, and twelve of the servants of David.

S-au sculat şi au înaintat în acelaşi număr, doisprezece din Beniamin, pentru Iş-Boşet, fiul lui Saul; şi doisprezece inşi ai lui David.

Then they arose and passed over by number, twelve for Benjamin and Ish-bosheth the son of Saul, and twelve of the servants of David.

Akkor mindegyik megragadta ellenfelének fejét, és fegyverét az oldalába döfte úgy, hogy mind a kettő elhullott. Ezért azt a mezőt Gibeónban HelkatHaccúrimnak nevezték el.

És kiki az ő társának fejét megragadá, és fegyverét oldalába [üté;] és egyenlőképen mind elhullának; és nevezék azt a mezőt Helkáth- Hassurimnak, mely Gibeonban van.

And they caught every one his fellow by the head, and thrust his sword in his fellow's side; so they fell down together: wherefore that place was called Helkathhazzurim, which is in Gibeon.

Fiecare, apucând pe potrivnicul lui de cap, i-a împlântat sabia în coastă, şi au căzut toţi deodată. Şi locul acela de lângă Gabaon s-a numit Helcat-Haţurim.

And each caught his opponent by the head and thrust his sword in his opponent’s side, so they fell down together. Therefore that place was called Helkath-hazzurim, which is at Gibeon.

Akkor igen heves harc bontakozott ki, és megverték Abnért és Izráel népét Dávid szolgái.

És felette erős harcz lőn azon a napon, és megvereték Abner és az Izráel népe a Dávid szolgái által.

And there was a very sore battle that day; and Abner was beaten, and the men of Israel, before the servants of David.

În ziua aceea a fost o luptă foarte aprigă, în care Abner şi bărbaţii lui Israel au fost bătuţi de oamenii lui David.

And the battle was very fierce that day. And Abner and the men of Israel were beaten before the servants of David.

Ott volt Cerújá három fia is: Jóáb, Abisaj és Aszáél. Aszáél pedig könnyűlábú volt, mint egy vadkecske a mezőn.

Három fia vala pedig ott Sérujának: Joáb, Abisai és Asáel; Asáel pedig könnyű lábú vala, mint egy vadkecske, mely a mezőn [lakik.]

And there were three sons of Zeruiah there, Joab, and Abishai, and Asahel: and Asahel was as light of foot as a wild roe.

Acolo se aflau cei trei fii ai Ţeruiei: Ioab, Abişai şi Asael. Asael era iute de picioare, ca o căprioară de câmp:

And the three sons of Zeruiah were there, Joab, Abishai, and Asahel. Now Asahel was as swift of foot as a wild gazelle.

Aszáél üldözőbe vette Abnért, és se jobbra, se balra nem tért el Abnér nyomából.

És Asáel üldözé Abnert; és se jobbfelé, se balfelé nem tére ki Abner után való futásában.

And Asahel pursued after Abner; and in going he turned not to the right hand nor to the left from following Abner.

el a urmărit pe Abner, fără să se abată la dreapta sau la stânga.

And Asahel pursued Abner, and as he went, he turned neither to the right hand nor to the left from following Abner.

Abnér hátratekintett, és azt kiáltotta: Te vagy az, Aszáél? Ő így felelt: Én vagyok.

Hátratekintvén pedig Abner, monda: Te vagy-é Asáel? Felele: Én [vagyok.]

Then Abner looked behind him, and said, Art thou Asahel? And he answered, I am.

Abner s-a uitat înapoi şi a zis: „Tu eşti Asael?” Şi el a răspuns: „Eu.”

Then Abner looked behind him and said, “Is it you, Asahel?” And he answered, “It is I.”

Akkor ezt mondta neki Abnér: Térj el másfelé, vagy jobbra, vagy balra, és fogj el egyet az ifjak közül, és vedd el a fegyverét. De Aszáél nem akarta őt elhagyni.

És monda néki Abner: Térj másfelé, vagy jobbkézre vagy balkézre, és fogj meg egyet az ifjak közül, és foszd ki őt mindenéből; de Asáel nem akarta őt elhagyni.

And Abner said to him, Turn thee aside to thy right hand or to thy left, and lay thee hold on one of the young men, and take thee his armour. But Asahel would not turn aside from following of him.

Abner i-a zis: „Abate-te la dreapta sau la stânga, pune mâna pe unul din tinerii aceştia şi ia-i armele.” Dar Asael n-a vrut să se abată dinapoia lui.

Abner said to him, “Turn aside to your right hand or to your left, and seize one of the young men and take his spoil.” But Asahel would not turn aside from following him.

Ismét odakiáltott Abnér Aszáélnak: Menj el a hátam mögül. Miért verjelek téged a földhöz? Akkor hogyan nézhetek bátyádnak, Jóábnak a szemébe?

Ismét monda Abner Asáelnek: Menj el hátam mögül. Miért verjelek téged a földhöz? És micsoda orczával menjek Joábhoz, a te bátyádhoz?

And Abner said again to Asahel, Turn thee aside from following me: wherefore should I smite thee to the ground? how then should I hold up my face to Joab thy brother?

Abner a zis iarăşi lui Asael: „Abate-te dinapoia mea; pentru ce să te lovesc şi să te trântesc la pământ? Cum voi ridica apoi faţa înaintea fratelui tău Ioab?”

And Abner said again to Asahel, “Turn aside from following me. Why should I strike you to the ground? How then could I lift up my face to your brother Joab?”

Mikor aztán semmiképpen sem akart eltérni, átdöfte Abnér a dárda hegyével az ötödik oldalcsontja között úgy, hogy a hátán jött ki a dárda, és azon a helyen elesett, és nyomban meghalt. Mindazok, akik arra a helyre értek, ahol Aszáél elesett és meghalt, megálltak.

Mikor azért semmiképen nem akart eltérni, általüté őt Abner a dárda végével, az ötödik oldalcsontja között, és hátul jöve ki a dárda; és elesék azon a helyen, és ugyanott meghala. És lőn, hogy mindazok, a kik arra a helyre érkezének, a hol Asáel elesett és meghalt vala, megállának.

Howbeit he refused to turn aside: wherefore Abner with the hinder end of the spear smote him under the fifth rib, that the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there, and died in the same place: and it came to pass, that as many as came to the place where Asahel fell down and died stood still.

Şi Asael n-a vrut să se abată. Atunci Abner l-a lovit în pântece cu capătul de jos al suliţei, şi suliţa a ieşit pe dinapoi. A căzut şi a murit pe loc. Toţi cei ce ajungeau în locul unde căzuse Asael mort se opreau.

But he refused to turn aside. Therefore Abner struck him in the stomach with the butt of his spear, so that the spear came out at his back. And he fell there and died where he was. And all who came to the place where Asahel had fallen and died, stood still.

De Jóáb és Abisaj tovább üldözte Abnért. Amikor a nap lement, elérkeztek Amma halmára, amely Gíahhal szemben van, a Gibeón pusztája melletti úton.

Joáb pedig és Abisai tovább üldözék Abnert; és midőn a nap lement, elérkezének az Amma halmára, mely Giah átellenében vala, a Gibeon pusztája melletti úton.

Joab also and Abishai pursued after Abner: and the sun went down when they were come to the hill of Ammah, that lieth before Giah by the way of the wilderness of Gibeon.

Ioab şi Abişai au urmărit pe Abner. Şi, la asfinţitul soarelui, au ajuns la coasta Ama, care este în dreptul Ghiahului, pe drumul care duce în pustiul Gabaonului.

But Joab and Abishai pursued Abner. And as the sun was going down they came to the hill of Ammah, which lies before Giah on the way to the wilderness of Gibeon.

Akkor Abnér mögött összegyűltek Benjámin fiai, és egy csoportban megálltak a halom tetején.

Akkor egybegyülekezének az Abner után való Benjámin fiai, egy csoportot alkotva, és megállának egy halomnak tetején.

And the children of Benjamin gathered themselves together after Abner, and became one troop, and stood on the top of an hill.

Fiii lui Beniamin s-au adunat în urma lui Abner, au făcut o ceată şi s-au oprit pe vârful unui deal.

And the people of Benjamin gathered themselves together behind Abner and became one group and took their stand on the top of a hill.

Abnér odakiáltott Jóábnak: Vajon szüntelenül öldökölnie kell-e a fegyvernek?! Nem tudod-e, hogy siralmas lesz ennek a vége? Mikor mondod már a hadinépnek, hogy térjenek vissza testvéreik üldözéséből?

És kiálta Abner Joábnak, és monda: Vajjon szűntelenül öldökölnie kell-é a fegyvernek? Nem tudod-é, hogy siralmas lesz ennek a vége? És meddig nem mondod a népnek, hogy térjenek vissza testvéreiknek hátukról?

Then Abner called to Joab, and said, Shall the sword devour for ever? knowest thou not that it will be bitterness in the latter end? how long shall it be then, ere thou bid the people return from following their brethren?

Abner a chemat pe Ioab şi a zis: „Oare mereu are să sfâşie sabia? Nu ştii că la sfârşit va fi amar? Până când vei pregeta să spui poporului să nu mai urmărească pe fraţii lui?”

Then Abner called to Joab, “Shall the sword devour forever? Do you not know that the end will be bitter? How long will it be before you tell your people to turn from the pursuit of their brothers?”

Jóáb azt felelte: Él az Isten, hogy ha te nem szóltál volna, akkor a nép csak reggel hagyta volna abba testvérei üldözését.

És monda Joáb: Él az Isten, hogy ha te nem szólottál volna, bizony már reggel eltávozott volna a nép, és nem kergette volna az ő atyjafiait.

And Joab said, As God liveth, unless thou hadst spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from following his brother.

Ioab a răspuns: „Viu este Dumnezeu, că, dacă n-ai fi vorbit, poporul n-ar fi încetat până mâine dimineaţă să urmărească pe fraţii lui.”

And Joab said, “As God lives, if you had not spoken, surely the men would not have given up the pursuit of their brothers until the morning.”

Akkor a kürtjébe fújt Jóáb, és megállt az egész nép. Nem üldözték tovább Izráelt, és nem harcoltak tovább.

Trombitát fuvata azért Joáb, és megálla az egész nép, és nem üldözék tovább Izráelt, és nem harczolának tovább.

So Joab blew a trumpet, and all the people stood still, and pursued after Israel no more, neither fought they any more.

Şi Ioab a sunat din trâmbiţă, şi tot poporul s-a oprit; n-au mai urmărit pe Israel şi nici nu s-au mai bătut.

So Joab blew the trumpet, and all the men stopped and pursued Israel no more, nor did they fight anymore.

Abnér pedig és vitézei azon az egész éjszakán meneteltek a mezőségen, átkeltek a Jordánon, és az egész vidéket bejárva Mahanaimba jutottak.

Abner pedig és az ő vitézei azon az egész éjszakán mennek vala a mezőségen, és általkelének a Jordánon, és az egész vidéket bejárván, jutának Mahanáimba.

And Abner and his men walked all that night through the plain, and passed over Jordan, and went through all Bithron, and they came to Mahanaim.

Abner şi oamenii lui au mers toată noaptea în câmpie; au trecut Iordanul, au străbătut în întregime Bitronul şi au ajuns la Mahanaim.

And Abner and his men went all that night through the Arabah. They crossed the Jordan, and marching the whole morning, they came to Mahanaim.

Jóáb pedig visszatért Abnér üldözéséből. Összegyűjtötte az egész népet, és Dávid szolgái közül hiányzott tizenkilenc; Aszáél is.

Joáb pedig megtérvén Abner üldözéséből, összegyűjté az egész népet, és hiányozának Dávid szolgái közül tizenkilenczen és Asáel.

And Joab returned from following Abner: and when he had gathered all the people together, there lacked of David's servants nineteen men and Asahel.

Ioab s-a întors de la urmărirea lui Abner şi a adunat tot poporul: lipseau nouăsprezece inşi din oamenii lui David şi Asael.

Joab returned from the pursuit of Abner. And when he had gathered all the people together, there were missing from David’s servants nineteen men besides Asahel.

De Dávid szolgái is vágtak le Benjámin nemzetségéből: Abnér szolgái közül háromszázhatvan ember halt meg.

A Dávid szolgái pedig Benjámin [nemzeté]ből, az Abner szolgái közül háromszázhatvan embert ölének meg, a kik meghalának.

But the servants of David had smitten of Benjamin, and of Abner's men, so that three hundred and threescore men died.

Dar oamenii lui David omorâseră trei sute şaizeci de inşi din bărbaţii lui Beniamin şi ai lui Abner.

But the servants of David had struck down of Benjamin 360 of Abner’s men.

Akkor fölvették Aszáélt és eltemették atyja sírjába, mely Betlehemben van. Jóáb pedig és emberei egész éjjel meneteltek, és Hebrónban virradt rájuk.

És felvevén Asáelt, eltemeték őt atyjának sírboltjában, mely Bethlehemben vala. Joáb pedig és az ő vitézei egész éjjel menve, Hebronban virradának meg.

And they took up Asahel, and buried him in the sepulchre of his father, which was in Bethlehem. And Joab and his men went all night, and they came to Hebron at break of day.

Au luat pe Asael şi l-au îngropat în mormântul tatălui său, la Betleem. Ioab şi oamenii lui au mers toată noaptea şi li s-au revărsat zorile în Hebron.

And they took up Asahel and buried him in the tomb of his father, which was at Bethlehem. And Joab and his men marched all night, and the day broke upon them at Hebron.
