Pál, Isten akaratából Jézus Krisztus apostola és Timóteus testvér: Isten gyülekezetének, amely Korinthusban van, mindazokkal a szentekkel együtt, akik egész Akhájában vannak:

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:

Pavel, apostol al lui Isus Hristos, prin voia lui Dumnezeu, şi fratele Timotei, către Biserica lui Dumnezeu care este în Corint şi către toţi sfinţii care sunt în toată Ahaia:

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, To the church of God that is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in the whole of Achaia:

Kegyelem nektek és békesség Istentől, a mi Atyánktól és az Úr Jézus Krisztustól.

Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Áldott az Isten és a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztusnak Atyja, az irgalmasság Atyja és minden vigasztalás Istene,

Áldott az Isten és a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztusnak Atyja, az irgalmasságnak atyja és minden vígasztalásnak Istene;

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

Binecuvântat să fie Dumnezeu, Tatăl Domnului nostru Isus Hristos, Părintele îndurărilor şi Dumnezeul oricărei mângâieri,

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,

aki megvigasztal minket minden nyomorúságunkban, hogy mi is megvigasztalhassunk másokat minden nyomorúságban azzal a vigasztalással, amellyel Isten vigasztal minket.

A ki megvígasztal minket minden nyomorúságunkban, hogy mi is megvígasztalhassunk bármely nyomorúságba [esteket] azzal a vígasztalással, a mellyel Isten vígasztal minket.

Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

care ne mângâie în toate necazurile noastre, pentru ca, prin mângâierea cu care noi înşine suntem mângâiaţi de Dumnezeu, să putem mângâia pe cei ce se află în vreun necaz!

who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Mert amint bőséggel kijutott nekünk a Krisztus szenvedéseiből, úgy bőséges a mi vigasztalásunk is Krisztus által.

Mert a mint bőséggel kijutott nékünk a Krisztus szenvedéseiből, úgy bőséges a mi vígasztalásunk is Krisztus által.

For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

Căci, după cum avem parte din belşug de suferinţele lui Hristos, tot aşa, prin Hristos avem parte din belşug şi de mângâiere.

For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.

Ha szorongatnak minket, az a ti vigasztalásotokért és üdvösségetekért van, ha pedig vigasztalást nyerünk, az a ti vigasztalásotokért és üdvösségetekért van, amely erőt ad ugyanazon szenvedések elviselésére, amelyeket mi is elszenvedünk.

De akár nyomorgattatunk, a ti vígasztalástokért és üdvösségtekért [van az], mely hathatós ugyanazon szenvedések elviselésére, a melyeket mi is szenvedünk; akár megvígasztaltatunk a ti vígasztalástokért és üdvösségtekért [van az.] És a mi reménységünk erős felőletek.

And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

Aşa că, dacă suntem în necaz, suntem pentru mângâierea şi mântuirea voastră; dacă suntem mângâiaţi, suntem pentru mângâierea voastră, care se arată prin faptul că răbdaţi aceleaşi suferinţe ca şi noi.

If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer.

A mi reménységünk erős felőletek, mert tudjuk, hogy amint társaink vagytok a szenvedésben, úgy a vigasztalásban is.

Tudván, hogy a miképen társaink vagytok a szenvedésben, azonképen a vígasztalásban is.

And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.

Şi nădejdea noastră pentru voi este neclintită, pentru că ştim că, dacă aveţi parte de suferinţe, aveţi parte şi de mângâiere.

Our hope for you is unshaken, for we know that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in our comfort.

Mert nem akarjuk, testvéreim, hogy ne tudjatok a mi nyomorúságunkról, amely Ázsiában esett rajtunk, hogy rendkívül nagy, erőnk feletti terheket hordoztunk, úgy, hogy életünk felől is kétségben voltunk.

Mert nem akarjuk, hogy ne tudjatok atyámfiai a mi nyomorúságunk felől, a mely Ázsiában esett rajtunk, hogy felette igen, erőnk felett megterheltettünk, úgy hogy életünk felől is kétségben valánk:

For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:

În adevăr, fraţilor, nu voim să vă lăsăm în necunoştinţă despre necazul care ne-a lovit în Asia, de care am fost apăsaţi peste măsură de mult, mai presus de puterile noastre, aşa că nici nu mai trăgeam nădejde de viaţă.

For we do not want you to be unaware, brothers, of the affliction we experienced in Asia. For we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life itself.

Sőt magunk is halálra szántuk magunkat, hogy ne önmagunkban bizakodjunk, hanem Istenben, aki feltámasztja a halottakat,

Sőt magunk is halálra szántuk magunkat, hogy ne bizakodnánk mi magunkban, hanem Istenben, a ki feltámasztja a holtakat:

But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:

Ba încă ne spunea gândul că trebuie să murim; pentru ca să ne punem încrederea nu în noi înşine, ci în Dumnezeu care învie morţii.

Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead.

aki ilyen nagy, halálos veszedelemből megszabadított és meg is fog szabadítani minket. Benne reménykedünk, hogy ezután is megszabadít,

A ki ilyen nagy halálból megszabadított és szabadít minket: a kiben reménykedünk, hogy ezután is meg fog szabadítani;

Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;

El ne-a izbăvit şi ne izbăveşte dintr-o astfel de moarte, şi avem nădejde că ne va mai izbăvi încă.

He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again.

mivel ti is segítségül vagytok az értünk mondott imádságotokkal, hogy sokan adjanak hálát értünk a sokak imájára nekünk adatott kegyelemért.

Velünk együtt munkálkodván ti is az érettünk való könyörgésben, hogy a sokak által nékünk adatott kegyelmi ajándék sokak által háláltassék meg mi érettünk.

Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.

Voi înşivă ne veţi ajuta cu rugăciunile voastre, pentru ca binefacerea făcută nouă prin rugăciunile multora să fie pentru mulţi un prilej de mulţumiri lui Dumnezeu pentru noi.

You also must help us by prayer, so that many will give thanks on our behalf for the blessing granted us through the prayers of many.

Mert ez a mi dicsekvésünk, lelkiismeretünk tanúságtétele, hogy az Istentől jövő őszinteséggel és tisztasággal, nem testi bölcsességgel, hanem Isten kegyelmével forgolódtunk a világban, kiváltképpen pedig közöttetek.

Mert a mi dicsekedésünk ez, lelkiismeretünk bizonysága, hogy isteni őszinteséggel és tisztasággal, nem testi bölcseséggel, hanem Isten kegyelmével forgolódtunk a világon, kiváltképen pedig ti köztetek.

For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.

Lauda noastră este mărturia pe care ne-o dă cugetul nostru că ne-am purtat în lume, şi mai ales faţă de voi, cu o sfinţenie şi curăţie de inimă date de Dumnezeu, bizuindu-ne nu pe o înţelepciune lumească, ci pe harul lui Dumnezeu.

For our boast is this, the testimony of our conscience, that we behaved in the world with simplicity and godly sincerity, not by earthly wisdom but by the grace of God, and supremely so toward you.

Mert mást nem írunk nektek, mint amit olvastok és megértetek, és remélem, hogy mindvégig meg is fogtok érteni,

Mert nem egyebet írunk néktek, hanem a mit olvastok, vagy el is ismertek, sőt reménylem, hogy el is fogtok ismerni mindvégig;

For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end;

Nu vă scriem altceva decât ce citiţi şi cunoaşteţi. Şi trag nădejde că până la sfârşit veţi cunoaşte,

For we are not writing to you anything other than what you read and understand and I hope you will fully understand—

ahogyan azt részben meg is értettétek, hogy mi a ti dicsekvésetek vagyunk, amint ti is nekünk az Úr Jézus napján.

A minthogy némi részben el is ismertétek rólunk, hogy dicsekvéstek vagyunk, a miképen ti is nékünk az Úr Jézus napján.

As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are our's in the day of the Lord Jesus.

cum aţi şi cunoscut în parte, că noi suntem lauda voastră, după cum şi voi veţi fi lauda noastră în ziua Domnului Isus.

just as you did partially understand us—that on the day of our Lord Jesus you will boast of us as we will boast of you.

Ebben bízva akartam már előbb is hozzátok menni, hogy másodszor is részesüljetek kegyelemben,

És ezzel a bizodalommal akartam előbb hozzátok menni, hogy másodízben nyerjetek kegyelmet;

And in this confidence I was minded to come unto you before, that ye might have a second benefit;

În această încredinţare, voiam să vin mai înainte la voi, ca să aveţi un al doilea har.

Because I was sure of this, I wanted to come to you first, so that you might have a second experience of grace.

és tőletek átmenni Macedóniába és Macedóniából ismét visszatérni hozzátok, hogy ti indítsatok útnak Júdeába.

És köztetek általmenni Macedóniába, és Macedóniából ismét hozzátok térni vissza, és tőletek elkísértetni Júdeába.

And to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again out of Macedonia unto you, and of you to be brought on my way toward Judaea.

Voiam să trec pe la voi ca să mă duc în Macedonia; apoi din Macedonia să mă întorc la voi şi să fiu petrecut de voi în Iudeea.

I wanted to visit you on my way to Macedonia, and to come back to you from Macedonia and have you send me on my way to Judea.

Talán könnyelmű voltam, amikor ez volt a szándékom? Vagy amit akarok, test szerint akarom-e, úgy, hogy nálam az „igen, igen” lehet „nem, nem” is?

Hát ezt akarva, vajjon könnyelműen cselekedtem-é? vagy a mit akarok, test szerint akarom-é, hogy nálam az igen igen, és a nem nem legyen?

When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay?

În luarea hotărârii acesteia, am lucrat eu în chip uşuratic? Sau hotărârile mele sunt nişte hotărâri pe care le iau în felul lumii, ca să fie în mine „da, da” şi „nu, nu”?

Was I vacillating when I wanted to do this? Do I make my plans according to the flesh, ready to say “Yes, yes” and “No, no” at the same time?

De Isten a tanúm, hogy a mi beszédünk nálatok nem volt egyszerre igen és nem.

De hű az Isten, hogy a mi beszédünk hozzátok nem volt igen és nem.

But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay.

Credincios este Dumnezeu că vorbirea noastră faţă de voi n-a fost şi „Da” şi „Nu”.

As surely as God is faithful, our word to you has not been Yes and No.

Mert az Isten Fia, Jézus Krisztus, akit én, Szilvánusz és Timóteus közöttetek hirdettünk, nem volt „igen” is és „nem” is, hanem az „igen” vált valóra őbenne.

Mert az Isten Fia Jézus Krisztus, a kit köztetek mi hirdettünk, én és Silvánus és Timótheus, nem volt igen és nem, hanem [az] igen lett ő benne.

For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.

Căci Fiul lui Dumnezeu, Isus Hristos, care a fost propovăduit de noi în mijlocul vostru, prin mine, prin Silvan şi prin Timotei, n-a fost „da” şi „nu”, ci în El nu este decât „da”.

For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, whom we proclaimed among you, Silvanus and Timothy and I, was not Yes and No, but in him it is always Yes.

Mert Isten valamennyi ígérete őbenne lett igenné, és őbenne lett ámenné az Isten dicsőségére miáltalunk.

Mert Istennek valamennyi igérete ő benne [lett] igenné [és] ő benne [lett] Ámenné az Isten dicsőségére mi általunk.

For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

În adevăr, făgăduinţele lui Dumnezeu, oricâte ar fi ele, toate în El sunt „da”; de aceea şi „Amin”, pe care-l spunem noi, prin El, este spre slava lui Dumnezeu.

For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.

Isten az, aki minket veletek együtt Krisztusban megerősít és felken.

A ki pedig minket ti veletek egybe Krisztusban megerősít és megken minket, az Isten az;

Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;

Şi Cel ce ne întăreşte împreună cu voi, în Hristos, şi care ne-a uns, este Dumnezeu.

And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us,

Ő pecsételt el minket, és a Lélek zálogát adta szívünkbe.

A ki el is pecsételt minket, és a léleknek zálogát adta a mi szíveinkbe.

Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

El ne-a şi pecetluit şi ne-a pus în inimă arvuna Duhului.

and who has also put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

Én pedig Istent hívom tanúként magam mellé, hogy irántatok való kíméletből nem mentem el eddig Korinthusba.

Én pedig az Istent hívom bizonyságul az én lelkemre, hogy titeket kímélve nem mentem el eddig Korinthusba.

Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth.

Iau pe Dumnezeu martor faţă de sufletul meu, că n-am mai venit până acum la Corint tocmai ca să vă cruţ.

But I call God to witness against me—it was to spare you that I refrained from coming again to Corinth.

Mert nem akarunk uralkodni a ti hiteteken, hanem munkatársai vagyunk örömötöknek, mert szilárdan álltok a hitben.

Nem hogy uralkodnánk a ti hiteteken, hanem munkatársai vagyunk a ti örömeteknek; mert hitben állotok.

Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.

Nu doar că am avea stăpânire peste credinţa voastră, dar vrem să lucrăm şi noi împreună la bucuria voastră; căci staţi tari în credinţă.

Not that we lord it over your faith, but we work with you for your joy, for you stand firm in your faith.
