A szentek iránti szolgálatról ugyan fölösleges írnom nektek,

A szentek iránt való szolgálatról felesleges is néktek írnom.

For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:

Este de prisos să vă mai scriu cu privire la strângerea de ajutoare pentru sfinţi.

Now it is superfluous for me to write to you about the ministry for the saints,

hiszen ismerem készségeteket, amellyel dicsekszem is a macedónoknak, hogy Akhája tavaly óta készen áll, és buzgóságotok legtöbbjüket felbátorította.

Hiszen ismerem a ti készségteket a melylyel dicsekszem felőletek a macedónoknak, hogy Akhája kész a mult esztendő óta; és a ti buzgóságtok, sokakat magával ragadt.

For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many.

Cunosc, în adevăr, bunăvoinţa voastră, cu care mă laud cu privire la voi către macedoneni şi le spun că Ahaia este gata de acum un an. Şi râvna voastră a îmbărbătat pe foarte mulţi din ei.

for I know your readiness, of which I boast about you to the people of Macedonia, saying that Achaia has been ready since last year. And your zeal has stirred up most of them.

Mégis elküldtem a testvéreket, hogy veletek való dicsekedésünk ebben a dologban hiábavalónak ne bizonyuljon, hanem amint mondtam, legyetek felkészülve;

Mindamellett elküldöttem az atyafiakat, hogy a mi felőletek való dicsekedésünk ebben a részben hiábavaló ne legyen; hogy, a mint mondám, készen legyetek.

Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, ye may be ready:

Am trimis totuşi pe fraţi, pentru ca lauda noastră cu voi să nu fie nimicită cu prilejul acesta, ci să fiţi gata, cum am spus.

But I am sending the brothers so that our boasting about you may not prove empty in this matter, so that you may be ready, as I said you would be.

nehogy aztán, ha a macedónok velem jönnek, és titeket készületlenül találnak, valamiképpen szégyent valljunk mi – hogy ne mondjam, ti – ebben a dologban.

Hogy aztán, ha a macedónok velem együtt odajutnak és titeket készületlenül találnak, valamiképen szégyent ne valljunk mi, hogy ne mondjam ti, ebben a dologban.

Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting.

Dacă vor veni vreunii din Macedonia cu mine, şi nu vă vor găsi gata, n-aş vrea ca noi (ca să nu zicem voi) să fim daţi de ruşine în încrederea aceasta.

Otherwise, if some Macedonians come with me and find that you are not ready, we would be humiliated—to say nothing of you—for being so confident.

Szükségesnek láttam azért megkérni a testvéreket, hogy előre menjenek el hozzátok, és készítsék elő a már megígért adományotokat, hogy az úgy legyen készen, mint bő áldás, nem pedig mint alamizsna.

Szükségesnek véltem azért utasítani az atyafiakat, hogy előre menjenek el hozzátok, és készítsék el előre a ti előre megígért adományotokat, hogy az úgy legyen készen, mint adomány, és nem mint ragadomány.

Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness.

De aceea, am socotit de trebuinţă să rog pe fraţi să vină mai înainte la voi şi să pregătească strângerea darurilor făgăduite de voi, ca ele să fie gata, făcute cu dărnicie, nu cu zgârcenie.

So I thought it necessary to urge the brothers to go on ahead to you and arrange in advance for the gift you have promised, so that it may be ready as a willing gift, not as an exaction.

Mert tudjuk, hogy aki szűken vet, szűken is arat, és aki bőven vet, bőven is arat.

Azt [mondom] pedig: A ki szűken vet, szűken is arat; és a ki bőven vet, bőven is arat.

But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

Să ştiţi: cine seamănă puţin, puţin va secera; iar cine seamănă mult, mult va secera.

The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

Mindenki úgy, ahogy eltökélte szívében, ne kelletlenül vagy kényszerűségből, mert a jókedvű adakozót szereti Isten.

Kiki a mint eltökélte szívében, nem szomorúságból, vagy kénytelenségből; mert a jókedvű adakozót szereti az Isten.

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Fiecare să dea după cum a hotărât în inima lui: nu cu părere de rău sau de silă, căci „pe cine dă cu bucurie îl iubeşte Dumnezeu.”

Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Mert Istennek van hatalma arra, hogy bőségesen rátok árassza minden kegyelmét, hogy mindenben mindenkor minden szükségessel rendelkezzetek, hogy bőven teljék minden jótéteményre.

Az Isten pedig hatalmas arra, hogy rátok áraszsza minden kegyelmét; hogy mindenben, mindenkor teljes elégségtek lévén, minden jótéteményre bőségben legyetek,

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

Şi Dumnezeu poate să vă umple cu orice har, pentru ca, având totdeauna în toate lucrurile din destul, să prisosiţi în orice faptă bună,

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.

Amint meg van írva: Bőkezűen osztott, adott a szegényeknek, igazsága örökké megmarad.

A mint meg van írva: Szórt, adott a szegényeknek; az ő igazsága örökké megmarad.

(As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.

după cum este scris: „A împrăştiat, a dat săracilor, neprihănirea lui rămâne în veac.”

As it is written, “He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.”

Aki pedig gondoskodik, hogy a magvetőnek vetőmagja legyen és kenyere eledelül, arról is gondoskodik, hogy megsokasítsa vetéseteket, és megszaporítsa igazságotok gyümölcsét,

A ki pedig magot ád a magvetőnek és kenyeret eleségül, ád és megsokasítja a ti vetésteket és megnöveli a ti igazságtoknak gyümölcsét,

Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)

„Cel ce dă sămânţă semănătorului şi pâine pentru hrană” vă va da şi vă va înmulţi şi vouă sămânţa de semănat şi va face să crească roadele neprihănirii voastre.

He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.

hogy mindenben meggazdagodjatok a teljes jószívűségre, amely általunk hálaadást szerez Istennek.

Hogy mindenben meggazdagodjatok a teljes jószívűségre, a mely általunk hálaadást szerez az Istennek.

Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

În chipul acesta veţi fi îmbogăţiţi în toate privinţele pentru orice dărnicie, care, prin noi, va face să se aducă mulţumiri lui Dumnezeu.

You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God.

Mert ennek a szolgálatnak a betöltése nemcsak a szentek szükségét elégíti ki, hanem sokakat hálaadásra indít Isten iránt.

Mert e tisztnek szolgálata nemcsak a szenteknek szükségét elégíti ki, hanem sok hálaadással bőséges az Isten előtt;

For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;

Căci ajutorul dat de darurile acestea, nu numai că acoperă nevoile sfinţilor, dar este şi o pricină de multe mulţumiri către Dumnezeu.

For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God.

Mert ennek a szolgálatnak próbája által dicsőítik Istent azért az engedelmességért, amellyel vallást tesztek a Krisztus evangéliumáról, és a ti hozzájuk és mindenkihez való adakozó jószívűségetekért.

A mennyiben e szolgálatnak próbája által dicsőítik az Istent a ti Krisztus evangyéliomát valló engedelmességtekért, és a ti hozzájuk és mindenekhez való adakozó jószívűségtekért.

Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;

Aşa că, dovada dată de voi prin ajutorul acesta îi face să slăvească pe Dumnezeu pentru ascultarea pe care mărturisiţi că o aveţi faţă de Evanghelia lui Hristos şi pentru dărnicia ajutorului vostru faţă de ei şi faţă de toţi;

By their approval of this service, they will glorify God because of your submission that comes from your confession of the gospel of Christ, and the generosity of your contribution for them and for all others,

Könyörögnek is értetek, és vágyódnak utánatok, mivel Isten kegyelme bőségesen kiáradt rátok.

Mikor érettetek könyörögve ők is vágyakoznak utánatok az Istennek rajtatok való bőséges kegyelme miatt.

And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.

şi-i face să se roage pentru voi şi să vă iubească din inimă, pentru harul nespus de mare al lui Dumnezeu faţă de voi.

while they long for you and pray for you, because of the surpassing grace of God upon you.

Hála legyen Istennek az ő kimondhatatlan ajándékáért.

Az Istennek pedig [legyen] hála az ő kimondhatatlan ajándékáért.

Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

Mulţumiri fie aduse lui Dumnezeu pentru darul Lui nespus de mare!

Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!
