Tudtul adjuk nektek, testvéreim, az Isten kegyelmét, amelyet Macedónia gyülekezeteivel közölt,

Tudtotokra adjuk pedig, atyámfiai, Istennek azt a kegyelmét, a melyet Macedónia gyülekezeteivel közlött.

Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia;

Fraţilor, voim să vă aducem la cunoştinţă harul pe care l-a dat Dumnezeu în bisericile Macedoniei.

We want you to know, brothers, about the grace of God that has been given among the churches of Macedonia,

hogy a nyomorúság sok próbatétele között is bőséges az örömük, és igen nagy szegénységük jószívűségük gazdagságává növekedett.

Hogy a nyomorúság sok próbái közt [is] bőséges az ő örömük és igen nagy szegénységük jószívűségük gazdagságává növekedett.

How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.

În mijlocul multelor necazuri prin care au trecut, bucuria lor peste măsură de mare şi sărăcia lor lucie au dat naştere la un belşug de dărnicie din partea lor.

for in a severe test of affliction, their abundance of joy and their extreme poverty have overflowed in a wealth of generosity on their part.

Mert tanúsíthatom, hogy képességük szerint, sőt erejük felett is önként adakoztak,

Mert, bizonyság vagyok rá, erejük szerint, sőt erejük felett is adakoznak,

For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves;

Vă mărturisesc că au dat de bunăvoie, după puterea lor şi chiar peste puterile lor.

For they gave according to their means, as I can testify, and beyond their means, of their own accord,

és esedezve kérték tőlünk azt a kiváltságot, hogy részt vehessenek a szenteket megsegítő szolgálatban.

Sok könyörgéssel kérvén minket, hogy a szentek iránt való szolgálat jótéteményébe és közösségébe fogadjuk be őket.

Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.

Şi ne-au rugat cu mari stăruinţe pentru harul şi părtăşia la această strângere de ajutoare pentru sfinţi.

begging us earnestly for the favor of taking part in the relief of the saints—

És nem úgy, amint reméltük, hanem önmagukat adták először az Úrnak és nekünk is az Isten akaratából.

És nem a miképen reméltük, hanem önmagukat adták először az Úrnak, és nekünk [is] az Isten akaratjából.

And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.

Şi au făcut aceasta nu numai cum nădăjduisem, dar s-au dat mai întâi pe ei înşişi Domnului, şi apoi nouă, prin voia lui Dumnezeu.

and this, not as we expected, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and then by the will of God to us.

Úgyhogy arra kértük Tituszt, hogy amint elkezdte, úgy fejezze is be nálatok ezt a jótékonysági gyűjtést,

Hogy kérnünk kellett Titust, hogy a miképen elkezdette, azonképen végezze is be nálatok ezt a jótéteményt is.

Insomuch that we desired Titus, that as he had begun, so he would also finish in you the same grace also.

Noi, dar, am rugat pe Tit să isprăvească această strângere de ajutoare pe care o începuse.

Accordingly, we urged Titus that as he had started, so he should complete among you this act of grace.

hogy amint mindenben bővölködtök – hitben, beszédben, ismeretben és minden buzgóságban és a hozzánk való szeretetben –, úgy bővölködjetek ebben a jótékonyságban is.

Azért, miképen mindenben bővölködtök, hitben, beszédben, ismeretben és minden buzgóságban és hozzánk való szeretetben, úgy e jótéteményben is bővölködjetek.

Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.

După cum sporiţi în toate lucrurile: în credinţă, în Cuvânt, în cunoştinţă, în orice râvnă şi în dragostea voastră pentru noi, căutaţi să sporiţi şi în această binefacere.

But as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all earnestness, and in our love for you—see that you excel in this act of grace also.

Nem parancsként mondom, hanem azért, hogy mások buzgósága által a ti szeretetetek valódiságát is kipróbáljam.

Nem parancsképen mondom, hanem hogy a mások buzgósága által a ti szeretetetek valódiságát is kipróbáljam.

I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love.

Nu spun lucrul acesta ca să vă dau o poruncă; ci pentru râvna altora şi ca să pun la încercare curăţia dragostei voastre.

I say this not as a command, but to prove by the earnestness of others that your love also is genuine.

Mert ismeritek a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus kegyelmét, hogy gazdag létére szegénnyé lett értetek, hogy ti az ő szegénysége által meggazdagodjatok.

Mert ismeritek a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztusnak jótéteményét, hogy gazdag lévén, szegénnyé lett érettetek, hogy ti az ő szegénysége által meggazdagodjatok.

For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

Căci cunoaşteţi harul Domnului nostru Isus Hristos. El, măcar că era bogat, S-a făcut sărac pentru voi, pentru ca, prin sărăcia Lui, voi să vă îmbogăţiţi.

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.

Tanácsot is adok ebben, mert az hasznotokra lesz, akik nemcsak a cselekvést, hanem az akarást is elkezdtétek tavaly óta.

Tanácsot is adok e dologban; mert hasznos az néktek, a kik nemcsak a cselekvést, hanem az akarást is elkezdtétek tavaly óta.

And herein I give my advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago.

În această privinţă, vă dau un sfat. Şi sfatul acesta vă este de folos vouă, care, de acum un an, cei dintâi aţi început nu numai să faceţi, ci să şi voiţi.

And in this matter I give my judgment: this benefits you, who a year ago started not only to do this work but also to desire to do it.

Most hát a cselekvést is vigyétek véghez, hogy amilyen az akarás készsége, olyan legyen a véghezvitel is abból, amitek van.

Most hát a cselekvést is vigyétek végbe; hogy a miképen az akarás készsége, azonképen a végrehajtás is ahhoz képest [legyen,] a mitek van.

Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which ye have.

Isprăviţi, dar, acum de făcut; pentru ca, după graba voinţei, să fie şi înfăptuirea, potrivit cu mijloacele voastre.

So now finish doing it as well, so that your readiness in desiring it may be matched by your completing it out of what you have.

Mert ha megvan a készség, aszerint kedves az, amije kinek-kinek van, és nem aszerint, amije nincs.

Mert ha a készség megvan, a szerint kedves az, a mije kinek-kinek van, [és] nem a szerint, a mije nincs.

For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.

Pentru că, dacă este bunăvoinţă, darul este primit, avându-se în vedere ce are cineva, nu ce n-are.

For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.

Tehát nem úgy, hogy másoknak könnyebbségük, nektek pedig nyomorúságotok legyen, hanem egyenlőség szerint;

Mert nem úgy, hogy másoknak könnyebbségük, néktek pedig nyomorúságtok [legyen,] hanem egyenlőség szerint; e mostani időben a ti bőségtek [pótolja] amazoknak fogyatkozását;

For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened:

Aici nu este vorba ca alţii să fie uşuraţi, iar voi strâmtoraţi;

For I do not mean that others should be eased and you burdened, but that as a matter of fairness

e mostani időben a ti bőségetek pótolja azok fogyatkozását, hogy majd azok bősége is pótolhassa a ti fogyatkozásotokat, hogy így egyenlőség legyen,

Hogy amazoknak bősége is pótolhassa a ti fogyatkozástokat, hogy [így] egyenlőség legyen;

But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality:

ci este vorba de o potrivire: în împrejurarea de acum, prisosul vostru să acopere nevoile lor, pentru ca şi prisosul lor să acopere, la rândul lui, nevoile voastre, aşa ca să fie o potrivire;

your abundance at the present time should supply their need, so that their abundance may supply your need, that there may be fairness.

amint meg van írva: Aki sokat szedett, nem volt fölöslege, és aki keveset, nem nélkülözött.

A mint megvan írva: a ki sokat [szedett,] nem volt többje; és a ki keveset, nem volt kevesebbje.

As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack.

după cum este scris: „Cel ce strânsese mult n-avea nimic de prisos, şi cel ce strânsese puţin nu ducea lipsă.”

As it is written, “Whoever gathered much had nothing left over, and whoever gathered little had no lack.”

Hála legyen Istennek, aki ugyanazt a buzgóságot adta irántatok Titusz szívébe.

Hála pedig az Istennek, ki ugyanazt a buzgóságot oltotta értetek a Titus szívébe.

But thanks be to God, which put the same earnest care into the heart of Titus for you.

Mulţumiri fie aduse lui Dumnezeu, care a pus în inima lui Tit aceeaşi râvnă pentru voi.

But thanks be to God, who put into the heart of Titus the same earnest care I have for you.

Mert bátorításunkat ugyan elfogadta, de nagy buzgóságában önként ment hozzátok.

Mivelhogy intésünket ugyan elfogadta, de nagy buzgóságában önként ment hozzátok.

For indeed he accepted the exhortation; but being more forward, of his own accord he went unto you.

Căci el a primit îndemnul nostru; ba încă, stăpânit de o râvnă arzătoare, a pornit de bunăvoie spre voi.

For he not only accepted our appeal, but being himself very earnest he is going to you of his own accord.

Elküldtük pedig vele együtt azt a testvért is, akit valamennyi gyülekezet dicsér az evangélium hirdetéséért.

Elküldöttük pedig vele együtt amaz atyafit is, a ki az összes gyülekezetekben dícséretes az evangyéliomért;

And we have sent with him the brother, whose praise is in the gospel throughout all the churches;

Am trimis cu el şi pe fratele a cărui laudă în Evanghelie este răspândită prin toate bisericile.

With him we are sending the brother who is famous among all the churches for his preaching of the gospel.

Sőt ezenkívül a gyülekezetek útitársunknak is megválasztották ebben a jótékony munkában, amelyben magának az Úrnak a dicsőségére és készségünk bizonyságául szolgálunk.

Nemcsak pedig, hanem a gyülekezetek útitársunknak is megválaszták ebben a jó ügyben, a melyet mi szolgálunk magának az Úrnak dicsőségére és a ti készségetekre;

And not that only, but who was also chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord, and declaration of your ready mind:

Mai mult, el a fost ales de biserici să meargă împreună cu noi în această lucrare de binefacere pe care o săvârşim spre slava Domnului şi ca o dovadă de bunăvoinţa noastră.

And not only that, but he has been appointed by the churches to travel with us as we carry out this act of grace that is being ministered by us, for the glory of the Lord himself and to show our good will.

Szeretnénk elkerülni, hogy valaki is megrágalmazzon minket a gondjainkra bízott bőséges adomány miatt,

Óvakodván, hogy senki se ócsárolhasson minket a mi szolgálatunk által való bőséges jótétemény miatt;

Avoiding this, that no man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us:

În chipul acesta, vrem ca nimeni să nu ne defăimeze cu privire la acest belşug de ajutoare de care îngrijim.

We take this course so that no one should blame us about this generous gift that is being administered by us,

Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.

Căci căutăm să lucrăm cinstit, nu numai înaintea Domnului, ci şi înaintea oamenilor.

for we aim at what is honorable not only in the Lord’s sight but also in the sight of man.

Sőt elküldtük velük azt a testvérünket is, akinek buzgóságát sok dologban többször kipróbáltuk, most pedig még sokkal buzgóbb, és nagyon bízik bennetek.

Sőt elküldöttük velök a mi atyánkfiát is, a kinek buzgó voltát sok dologban sokszor kipróbáltuk, most pedig még sokkal buzgóbb, irántatok való nagy bizodalmánál fogva.

And we have sent with them our brother, whom we have oftentimes proved diligent in many things, but now much more diligent, upon the great confidence which I have in you.

Am trimis cu ei pe fratele nostru, a cărui râvnă am încercat-o de atâtea ori în multe împrejurări, şi care, de data aceasta, arată mult mai multă râvnă, din pricina marii lui încrederi în voi.

And with them we are sending our brother whom we have often tested and found earnest in many matters, but who is now more earnest than ever because of his great confidence in you.

Akár Tituszról van szó, aki társam és munkatársam köztetek, akár a mi testvéreinkről, ők a gyülekezetek követei, Krisztus dicsősége:

Akár Titusról [van szó,] ő az én társam és ti köztetek segítségem; akár a mi atyánkfiai felől, ők a gyülekezetek követei, Krisztus dicsősége:

Whether any do enquire of Titus, he is my partner and fellowhelper concerning you: or our brethren be enquired of, they are the messengers of the churches, and the glory of Christ.

Astfel, fie având în vedere pe Tit, care este părtaşul şi tovarăşul meu de lucru în mijlocul vostru, fie având în vedere pe fraţii noştri, care sunt trimişii bisericilor şi fala lui Hristos:

As for Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker for your benefit. And as for our brothers, they are messengers of the churches, the glory of Christ.

mutassátok meg az irántuk való szereteteteket, és adjátok bizonyságát a felőletek való dicsekvésünknek a gyülekezetek előtt!

Adjátok azért szereteteteknek és felőletek való dicsekvésünknek, bizonyságát irántuk a gyülekezetek előtt is.

Wherefore shew ye to them, and before the churches, the proof of your love, and of our boasting on your behalf.

daţi-le, înaintea bisericilor, dovadă de dragostea voastră şi arătaţi-le că avem dreptul să ne lăudăm cu voi.

So give proof before the churches of your love and of our boasting about you to these men.
