Azért mivel ilyen szolgálatban vagyunk, mint akik irgalmat nyertünk, nem csüggedünk el,

Annakokáért, mivelhogy ilyen szolgálatban vagyunk, a mint a kegyelmet nyertük, nem csüggedünk el;

Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

De aceea, fiindcă avem slujba aceasta, după îndurarea pe care am căpătat-o, noi nu cădem de oboseală.

Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart.

hanem visszautasítjuk a szégyenteljes, titkolt dolgokat, nem járunk ravaszságban, és nem is hamisítjuk meg Isten igéjét, hanem az igazság nyílt megvallásával ajánljuk magunkat minden ember lelkiismeretének az Isten előtt.

Hanem lemondtunk a szégyen takargatásáról, mint a kik nem járunk ravaszságban, és nem is hamisítjuk meg az Isten ígéjét, de a nyilvánvaló igazsággal kelletjük magunkat minden ember lelkiismeretének az Isten előtt.

But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

Ca unii care am lepădat meşteşugirile ruşinoase şi ascunse, nu umblăm cu vicleşug şi nu stricăm Cuvântul lui Dumnezeu. Ci, prin arătarea adevărului, ne facem vrednici să fim primiţi de orice cuget omenesc, înaintea lui Dumnezeu.

But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God’s word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God.

Ha mégis leplezett a mi evangéliumunk, azoknak leplezett, akik elvesznek,

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

Şi, dacă Evanghelia noastră este acoperită, este acoperită pentru cei ce sunt pe calea pierzării,

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

a căror minte necredincioasă a orbit-o dumnezeul veacului acestuia, ca să nu vadă strălucind lumina Evangheliei slavei lui Hristos, care este chipul lui Dumnezeu.

In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Mert nem magunkat hirdetjük, hanem az Úr Jézus Krisztust, magunkat pedig mint a ti szolgáitokat a Jézusért.

Mert nem magunkat prédikáljuk, hanem az Úr Jézus Krisztust; magunkat pedig, mint a ti szolgáitokat, a Jézusért.

For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

Căci noi nu ne propovăduim pe noi înşine, ci pe Domnul Hristos Isus. Noi suntem robii voştri, pentru Isus.

For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.

Mert Isten, aki azt mondta, hogy a sötétségből világosság ragyogjon, ő gyújtott világosságot a szívünkben, hogy felragyogjon Isten dicsőségének ismerete Krisztus arcán.

Mert az Isten, a ki szólt: setétségből világosság ragyogjon, ő gyújtott világosságot a mi szívünkben az Isten dicsősége ismeretének a Jézus Krisztus arczán való világoltatása végett.

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Căci Dumnezeu, care a zis: „Să lumineze lumina din întuneric”, ne-a luminat inimile, pentru ca să facem să strălucească lumina cunoştinţei slavei lui Dumnezeu pe faţa lui Isus Hristos.

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Ez a kincsünk pedig cserépedényekben van, hogy ez a rendkívüli erő Istentől és ne tőlünk valónak lássék.

Ez a kincsünk pedig cserépedényekben van, hogy amaz erőnek nagy volta Istené legyen, és nem magunktól való.

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Comoara aceasta o purtăm în nişte vase de lut, pentru ca această putere nemaipomenită să fie de la Dumnezeu, şi nu de la noi.

But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.

Mindenütt szorongatnak, de össze nem roppantanak, kétségeskedünk, de nem esünk kétségbe,

Mindenütt nyomorgattatunk, de meg nem szoríttatunk; kétségeskedünk, de nem esünk kétségbe;

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

Suntem încolţiţi în toate chipurile, dar nu la strâmtorare; în grea cumpănă, dar nu deznădăjduiţi;

We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair;

üldözöttek vagyunk, de nem elhagyottak, letiportak, de nem elveszettek.

Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

Mindenkor testünkben hordozzuk Jézus halálát, hogy Jézus élete is látható legyen testünkben.

Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

Purtăm întotdeauna cu noi, în trupul nostru, omorârea Domnului Isus, pentru ca şi viaţa lui Isus să se arate în trupul nostru.

always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our bodies.

Mert minket, akik élünk, mindenkor halálra adnak Jézusért, hogy Jézus élete is látható legyen a mi halandó testünkben.

For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

Căci noi, cei vii, totdeauna suntem daţi la moarte din pricina lui Isus, pentru ca şi viaţa lui Isus să se arate în trupul nostru muritor.

For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

Azért a halál bennünk munkálkodik, az élet pedig bennetek.

So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

Astfel că, în noi lucrează moartea, iar în voi viaţa.

So death is at work in us, but life in you.

Mivel a hitnek ugyanaz a lelke van bennünk is, ahogy meg van írva: Hittem, és azért szóltam, mi is hiszünk, és azért szólunk.

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

Însă, fiindcă avem acelaşi duh de credinţă, potrivit cu ceea ce este scris: „Am crezut, de aceea am vorbit!”, şi noi credem, şi de aceea vorbim.

Since we have the same spirit of faith according to what has been written, “I believed, and so I spoke,” we also believe, and so we also speak,

Mert tudjuk, hogy aki feltámasztotta az Úr Jézust, Jézussal együtt minket is feltámaszt, és veletek együtt maga elé állít.

Tudván, hogy a ki feltámasztotta az Úr Jézust, Jézus által minket is feltámaszt, és veletek együtt előállít.

Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.

Şi ştim că Cel ce a înviat pe Domnul Isus ne va învia şi pe noi împreună cu Isus şi ne va face să ne înfăţişăm împreună cu voi.

knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and bring us with you into his presence.

Mert minden értetek van, hogy a kegyelem túláradjon, és egyre többen adjanak hálát az Isten dicsőségére.

Mert minden ti érettetek [van,] hogy a kegyelem sokasodva sokak által a hálaadást bőségessé tegye az Isten dicsőségére.

For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

Căci toate aceste lucruri se petrec în folosul vostru, pentru ca harul mare, căpătat prin mulţi, să facă să sporească mulţumirile spre slava lui Dumnezeu.

For it is all for your sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God.

Ezért nem csüggedünk. A mi külső emberünk romlik ugyan, de a belső napról napra megújul.

Azért nem csüggedünk; sőt ha a mi külső emberünk megromol is, a belső mindazáltal napról-napra újul.

For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

De aceea, noi nu cădem de oboseală. Ci, chiar dacă omul nostru de afară se trece, totuşi omul nostru dinăuntru se înnoieşte din zi în zi.

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.

Pillanatnyi könnyű szenvedésünk minden mértéket felülmúló, nagy, örök dicsőséget szerez nekünk,

Mert a mi pillanatnyi könnyű szenvedésünk igen-igen nagy örök dicsőséget szerez nékünk;

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

Căci întristările noastre uşoare, de o clipă, lucrează pentru noi tot mai mult o greutate veşnică de slavă.

For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,

mert nem a láthatókra szegezzük tekintetünket, hanem a láthatatlanokra, mert a láthatók ideig valók, a láthatatlanok pedig örökké valók.

Mivelhogy nem a láthatókra nézünk, hanem a láthatatlanokra; mert a láthatók ideig valók, a láthatatlanok pedig örökkévalók.

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Pentru că noi nu ne uităm la lucrurile care se văd, ci la cele ce nu se văd; căci lucrurile care se văd sunt trecătoare, pe când cele ce nu se văd sunt veşnice.

as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
