Eljásib, a főpap és testvérei, a papok nekiláttak, és fölépítették a Juh-kaput. Fölszentelték, és helyükre állították ajtószárnyait. A várfalat pedig a Hamméá-toronyig és tovább, Hananél tornyáig építették, majd fölszentelték azt is.

És fölkele Eliásib, a főpap és atyjafiai, a papok és építék a juhok kapuját; ők szentelék meg azt és állíták fel annak ajtait; [építék] pedig a kőfalat a Meáh toronyig, a melyet megszentelének, s azután Hanánel tornyáig;

Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests, and they builded the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even unto the tower of Meah they sanctified it, unto the tower of Hananeel.

Marele preot Eliaşib s-a sculat împreună cu fraţii săi, preoţii, şi au zidit poarta oilor. Au sfinţit-o şi i-au pus uşile; au sfinţit-o de la turnul Mea, până la turnul lui Hananeel.

Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brothers the priests, and they built the Sheep Gate. They consecrated it and set its doors. They consecrated it as far as the Tower of the Hundred, as far as the Tower of Hananel.

Mellettük építettek a jerikóiak, ezek mellett pedig Zakkúr, Imri fia épített.

És ő mellette építének a Jerikóbeliek, ezek mellett pedig épített Zakkur az Imri fia;

And next unto him builded the men of Jericho. And next to them builded Zaccur the son of Imri.

A Hal-kaput pedig Hasszenáá fiai építették. Ők gerendázták be, és tették a helyükre ajtajait, kapupántjait és zárait.

But the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build, who also laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.

Fiii lui Senaa au zidit poarta peştilor. Au acoperit-o cu scânduri şi i-au pus uşile, încuietorile şi zăvoarele.

The sons of Hassenaah built the Fish Gate. They laid its beams and set its doors, its bolts, and its bars.

Mellettük javítgatta a várfalat Merémót, Úrijjá fia, Hakkóc unokája. Mellettük pedig Mesullám, Berekjá fia, Mesézabél unokája javítgatott. Őmellette pedig Cádók, Baaná fia javítgatott.

Mellettök javítgatá a kőfalat Merémóth, Uriásnak, a Hakkós fiának fia, mellette pedig javítgatott Mesullám, Berekiásnak, a Mesézabéel fiának a fia, és ő mellette javítgatott Sádók, Baána fia.

And next unto them repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah, the son of Koz. And next unto them repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah, the son of Meshezabeel. And next unto them repaired Zadok the son of Baana.

Alături de ei a lucrat la dregerea zidului Meremot, fiul lui Urie, fiul lui Hacoţ; alături de ei a lucrat Meşulam, fiul lui Berechia, fiul lui Meşezabeel; alături de ei a lucrat Ţadoc, fiul lui Baana;

And next to them Meremoth the son of Uriah, son of Hakkoz repaired. And next to them Meshullam the son of Berechiah, son of Meshezabel repaired. And next to them Zadok the son of Baana repaired.

Az óváros kapuját Jójádá, Pászéah fia és Mesullám, Beszódjá fia javítgatta. Ők gerendázták be, és állították föl ajtajait, kapupántjait és zárait.

Moreover the old gate repaired Jehoiada the son of Paseah, and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah; they laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.

Ioiada, fiul lui Paseah, şi Meşulam, fiul lui Besodia, au dres poarta cea veche. Au acoperit-o cu scânduri şi i-au pus uşile, încuietorile şi zăvoarele.

Joiada the son of Paseah and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah repaired the Gate of Yeshanah. They laid its beams and set its doors, its bolts, and its bars.

Mellettük a gibeóni Melatjá és a mérónóti Jádón javítgatott; ők a folyamon túli helytartó hivatalához tartozó gibeóni és micpai férfiak voltak.

És mellettök javítgatott a Gibeonból való Melátia és a Meronothból való Jádón, Gibeonnak és Mispának lakosai, a folyóvizen túl való helytartónak hivatala helyéig;

And next unto them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, unto the throne of the governor on this side the river.

Next unto him repaired Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, of the goldsmiths. Next unto him also repaired Hananiah the son of one of the apothecaries, and they fortified Jerusalem unto the broad wall.

And next unto them repaired Rephaiah the son of Hur, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem.

Alături de ei a lucrat Refaia, fiul lui Hur, care era mai mare peste jumătate din ţinutul Ierusalimului.

Next to them Rephaiah the son of Hur, ruler of half the district of Jerusalem, repaired.

Mellette Jedajá, Harúmaf fia javítgatott, méghozzá a saját házával szemben. Mellette Hattús, Hasabnejá fia javítgatott.

Mellette javítgatott Jedája, Harumáf fia, és pedig a maga háza ellenébe, és mellette javítgatott Hattus, Hasabneja fia.

And next unto them repaired Jedaiah the son of Harumaph, even over against his house. And next unto him repaired Hattush the son of Hashabniah.

And next unto him repaired Shallum the son of Halohesh, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.

A Völgy-kaput Hánún és Zánóah lakói javítgatták. Ők építették föl azt, és tették a helyükre ajtajait, kapupántjait és zárait. A várfalból ezerkönyöknyit javítottak ki, a Szemét-kapuig.

A völgy kapuját javítgaták Hánun és Zánoah lakói, ők építék meg azt és állíták fel annak ajtait, kapcsait és závárait; és a kőfalból ezer singet a szemét-kapuig.

The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and a thousand cubits on the wall unto the dung gate.

Hanun and the inhabitants of Zanoah repaired the Valley Gate. They rebuilt it and set its doors, its bolts, and its bars, and repaired a thousand cubits of the wall, as far as the Dung Gate.

A Szemét-kaput pedig Malkijjá, Rékáb fia, Bét-Hakkerem tartományának a vezetője javítgatta. Ő építette föl azt, és állította a helyükre ajtajait, kapupántjait és zárait.

A Forrás-kaput Sallún, Kol-Hóze fia, Micpá tartományának vezetője javítgatta. Ő építette föl, tetőzte be, és állította a helyükre ajtajait, kapupántjait és zárait. A Selah-tó kőfalát a király kertje felé egészen a lépcsőkig, melyek Dávid városából vezetnek lefelé, szintén ő javítgatta.

And Shallum the son of Col-hozeh, ruler of the district of Mizpah, repaired the Fountain Gate. He rebuilt it and covered it and set its doors, its bolts, and its bars. And he built the wall of the Pool of Shelah of the king’s garden, as far as the stairs that go down from the city of David.

Utána Nehemjá, Azbúk fia, Bét-Cúr fél kerületének vezetője javítgatott Dávid sírjaival szemközt az újonnan készült tóig meg a vitézek házáig.

After him repaired Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of the half part of Bethzur, unto the place over against the sepulchres of David, and to the pool that was made, and unto the house of the mighty.

After him repaired Benjamin and Hashub over against their house. After him repaired Azariah the son of Maaseiah the son of Ananiah by his house.

After him repaired Binnui the son of Henadad another piece, from the house of Azariah unto the turning of the wall, even unto the corner.

Továbbá Pálál, Úzaj fia, a szöglettel és a felső toronnyal szemben, amely a király palotájából ugrik ki a tömlöc udvaránál. Utána pedig Pedájá, Parós fia.

Palal the son of Uzai, over against the turning of the wall, and the tower which lieth out from the king's high house, that was by the court of the prison. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh.

Moreover the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel, unto the place over against the water gate toward the east, and the tower that lieth out.

After them the Tekoites repaired another piece, over against the great tower that lieth out, even unto the wall of Ophel.
