A nép vezetői Jeruzsálemben telepedtek le, a nép többi része pedig sorsot vetett, hogy minden tíz emberből egyet Jeruzsálembe vigyenek, hogy a szent városban lakjon, a többi kilenc pedig a saját városában maradhat.

És lakozának a nép fejedelmei Jeruzsálemben, a többi nép pedig sorsot vete, hogy minden tíz emberből vinnének egyet Jeruzsálembe, a szent városba lakóul, a többi kilencz pedig [marad a maga] városában.

And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities.

Căpeteniile poporului s-au aşezat la Ierusalim. Cealaltă parte a poporului a tras la sorţi, pentru ca unul din zece să vină să locuiască la Ierusalim în cetatea sfântă, iar ceilalţi să locuiască în cetăţi.

Now the leaders of the people lived in Jerusalem. And the rest of the people cast lots to bring one out of ten to live in Jerusalem the holy city, while nine out of ten remained in the other towns.

A nép áldotta mindazokat a férfiakat, akik önként vállalkoztak arra, hogy Jeruzsálemben lakjanak.

And the people blessed all the men, that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.

And the people blessed all the men who willingly offered to live in Jerusalem.

Ezek a júdai tartomány fejei, akik Jeruzsálemben letelepedtek; de Júda városaiban a maga örökségében, a maga városában lakott Izráel népének többi része, a papok, a léviták, a léviták szolgái és Salamon szolgáinak a fiai.

Now these are the chief of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, to wit, Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon's servants.

These are the chiefs of the province who lived in Jerusalem; but in the towns of Judah everyone lived on his property in their towns: Israel, the priests, the Levites, the temple servants, and the descendants of Solomon’s servants.

And in Jerusalem lived certain of the sons of Judah and of the sons of Benjamin. Of the sons of Judah: Athaiah the son of Uzziah, son of Zechariah, son of Amariah, son of Shephatiah, son of Mahalalel, of the sons of Perez;

Pérec fiai összesen, akik Jeruzsálemben laktak: négyszázhatvannyolc vitéz férfi.

All the sons of Perez that dwelt at Jerusalem were four hundred threescore and eight valiant men.

All the sons of Perez who lived in Jerusalem were 468 valiant men.

Benjámin fiai pedig ezek: Szallú, Mesullám fia, aki Jóéd fia, aki Pedájá fia, aki Kólájá fia, aki Maaszéjá fia, aki Ítiél fia, aki Jesajá fia volt.

And their brethren, mighty men of valour, an hundred twenty and eight: and their overseer was Zabdiel, the son of one of the great men.

Also of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hashub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;

Din leviţi: Şemaia, fiul lui Haşub, fiul lui Azricam, fiul lui Haşabia, fiul lui Buni;

And of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, son of Bunni;

Továbbá Sabbetaj és Józábád, akik a léviták főemberei közül az Isten házának külső munkáira felügyeltek.

And Mattaniah the son of Micha, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, was the principal to begin the thanksgiving in prayer: and Bakbukiah the second among his brethren, and Abda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.

A kapuőrök pedig ezek voltak: Akkúb, Talmón és rokonaik. A kapuk őrzői összesen százhetvenketten voltak.

Moreover the porters, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren that kept the gates, were an hundred seventy and two.

The gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon and their brothers, who kept watch at the gates, were 172.

But the temple servants lived on Ophel; and Ziha and Gishpa were over the temple servants.

A léviták elöljárója Jeruzsálemben, Isten házának a szolgálatánál Uzzi, Báni fia volt, aki Hasabjá fia, aki Mattanjá fia, aki Míká fia volt Aszáf fiai, az énekesek közül.

The overseer also of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micha. Of the sons of Asaph, the singers were over the business of the house of God.

Căpetenia leviţilor la Ierusalim era Uzi, fiul lui Bani, fiul lui Haşabia, fiul lui Matania, fiul lui Mica, dintre fiii lui Asaf, cântăreţii însărcinaţi cu slujba Casei lui Dumnezeu;

The overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, son of Hashabiah, son of Mattaniah, son of Mica, of the sons of Asaph, the singers, over the work of the house of God.

A király parancsa szerint és a rendelkezés értelmében végezték az énekesek naponkénti teendőjüket.

Mert ők, [a Léviták], a király parancsolata szerint, az énekesek pedig kötés szerint [végezék] naponként való teendőjüket;

For it was the king's commandment concerning them, that a certain portion should be for the singers, due for every day.

căci era o poruncă a împăratului cu privire la cântăreţi, şi li se dădea o parte hotărâtă pe fiecare zi.

For there was a command from the king concerning them, and a fixed provision for the singers, as every day required.

Petahjá, Mesézabél fia Júda fiának, Zerahnak a fiai közül a király tanácsosa volt a nép minden dolgában.

And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabeel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king's hand in all matters concerning the people.

Petahia, fiul lui Meşezabeel, din fiii lui Zerah, fiul lui Iuda, era dregătorul împăratului pentru toate treburile poporului.

And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabel, of the sons of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king’s side in all matters concerning the people.

A Júda fiai közül valók a vidéki városok és határaik közül Kirjat-Arbában és falvaiban, Dibónban és falvaiban, Jekabceélben és falvaiban laktak.

And for the villages, with their fields, some of the children of Judah dwelt at Kirjatharba, and in the villages thereof, and at Dibon, and in the villages thereof, and at Jekabzeel, and in the villages thereof,

Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, at Lachish, and the fields thereof, at Azekah, and in the villages thereof. And they dwelt from Beersheba unto the valley of Hinnom.

Zanoah, Adullam, and their villages, Lachish and its fields, and Azekah and its villages. So they encamped from Beersheba to the Valley of Hinnom.

Benjámin fiai pedig Gebában, Mikmászban, Ajjában, Bételben és falvaiban laktak,

The children also of Benjamin from Geba dwelt at Michmash, and Aija, and Bethel, and in their villages.

The people of Benjamin also lived from Geba onward, at Michmash, Aija, Bethel and its villages,

And of the Levites were divisions in Judah, and in Benjamin.

Au fost unii leviţi care s-au unit cu Beniamin, măcar că făceau parte din cetele lui Iuda.

And certain divisions of the Levites in Judah were assigned to Benjamin.
