The Levites in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, were recorded chief of the fathers: also the priests, to the reign of Darius the Persian.

In the days of Eliashib, Joiada, Johanan, and Jaddua, the Levites were recorded as heads of fathers’ houses; so too were the priests in the reign of Darius the Persian.

The sons of Levi, the chief of the fathers, were written in the book of the chronicles, even until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.

As for the sons of Levi, their heads of fathers’ houses were written in the Book of the Chronicles until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.

A léviták főemberei ezek voltak: Hasabjá, Sérébjá, Jésúa, Kadmiél fia; testvéreik velük szemben álltak föl a dicsérő és hálaadó éneklésre, csoportonként, mint egy éneklő sereg, Dávidnak, Isten emberének a parancsa szerint.

Jeruzsálem várfalának a fölszentelésekor mindenütt fölkeresték a lévitákat, hogy elhozzák őket Jeruzsálembe, és elvégezzék a fölszentelést örömmel, hálaadással, énekelve, cimbalmokkal, lantokkal és citerákkal.

And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbals, psalteries, and with harps.

And the sons of the singers gathered themselves together, both out of the plain country round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi;

And the sons of the singers gathered together from the district surrounding Jerusalem and from the villages of the Netophathites;

Bét-Gilgálból, Geba és Azmávet határaiból, mert az énekesek Jeruzsálem körül építettek maguknak falvakat.

Also from the house of Gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba and Azmaveth: for the singers had builded them villages round about Jerusalem.

Azután fölküldtem Júda fejedelmeit a várfalra, és két nagy hálaadást éneklő sereget és menetet állítottam föl. Az egyik jobb kéz felé ment a várfal mellett, a Szemét-kapu felé.

Then I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great companies of them that gave thanks, whereof one went on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung gate:

Then I brought the leaders of Judah up onto the wall and appointed two great choirs that gave thanks. One went to the south on the wall to the Dung Gate.

Továbbá testvérei: Semajá, Azarél, Milalaj, Gilalaj, Máaj, Netanél, Júda és Hanáni Dávidnak, Isten emberének a hangszereivel; Ezsdrás pedig, az írástudó előttük ment.

And his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azarael, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God, and Ezra the scribe before them.

and his relatives, Shemaiah, Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, Judah, and Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God. And Ezra the scribe went before them.

Ez a sereg a Forrás-kapu felé ment, s egyenesen fölmentek Dávid városának lépcsőin a várfalhoz vezető feljárón. Elmentek Dávid háza mellett a Vízi-kapuig, kelet felé.

[Méne pedig e sereg] a forrás kapuja felé, s egyenesen fölmenének Dávid városának lépcsőin a kőfalhoz vezető lépcsőre, s menének Dávid háza mellett s a vizek kapujáig napkelet felé.

And at the fountain gate, which was over against them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, above the house of David, even unto the water gate eastward.

La poarta izvorului s-au suit drept înainte pe treptele cetăţii lui David, pe ridicătura zidului, deasupra casei lui David, până la poarta apelor, spre răsărit.

At the Fountain Gate they went up straight before them by the stairs of the city of David, at the ascent of the wall, above the house of David, to the Water Gate on the east.

A hálaadást éneklő másik sereg pedig bal kéz felé haladt, én és a nép fele pedig utánuk mentünk. A várfal mellett, a Kemencék tornya mellett haladtak, egészen a széles falig.

And the other company of them that gave thanks went over against them, and I after them, and the half of the people upon the wall, from beyond the tower of the furnaces even unto the broad wall;

The other choir of those who gave thanks went to the north, and I followed them with half of the people, on the wall, above the Tower of the Ovens, to the Broad Wall,

Azután az Efraim-kapu és az Ófel kapuja mellett, a Hal-kapu és a Hananél-torony meg a Méátorony mellett egészen a Juh-kapuig mentek, s megálltak a Tömlöc-kapunál.

És az Efraim kapuja mellett és az ó város kapuja mellett és a halaknak kapuja mellett és a Hananél tornya és a Meáh torony mellett mind a juhok kapujáig, s megállának a tömlöcz kapujában.

And from above the gate of Ephraim, and above the old gate, and above the fish gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, even unto the sheep gate: and they stood still in the prison gate.

and above the Gate of Ephraim, and by the Gate of Yeshanah, and by the Fish Gate and the Tower of Hananel and the Tower of the Hundred, to the Sheep Gate; and they came to a halt at the Gate of the Guard.

Majd mindkét, hálaadást éneklő sereg megállt az Isten házánál. Én is odaálltam a fejedelmek egyik felével

So stood the two companies of them that gave thanks in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me:

So both choirs of those who gave thanks stood in the house of God, and I and half of the officials with me;

Azon a napon nagy áldozatokat mutattak be, és vigadoztak, mert Isten nagy örömöt szerzett nekik. Még az asszonyok és a gyermekek is vigadoztak, és nagyon messzire elhallatszott Jeruzsálem ujjongása.

Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.

În ziua aceea, s-au adus multe jertfe şi a fost mare bucurie, căci Dumnezeu dăduse poporului o mare pricină de bucurie. Se bucurau şi femeile şi copiii, şi strigătele de bucurie ale Ierusalimului se auzeau până departe.

And they offered great sacrifices that day and rejoiced, for God had made them rejoice with great joy; the women and children also rejoiced. And the joy of Jerusalem was heard far away.

Azon a napon férfiakat állítottak a kincsek, fölajánlott áldozatok, az első zsengék és a tized tárházaihoz, hogy összegyűjtsék azokba a városok határaiból a papok és a léviták törvény szerinti részét, mert Júda örült, hogy a papok és a léviták szolgálatba álltak.

És rendeltetének ama napon férfiak a kincseknek, felemelt áldozatoknak, első zsengéknek és a tizedeknek tárházai fölé, hogy összegyűjtsék azokba a városok határaiból a törvény szerint való részöket a papoknak és a Lévitáknak, mert örvendeze Júda a papokon és a Lévitákon, a kik ott állának [tisztökben,]

And at that time were some appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions of the law for the priests and Levites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that waited.

În ziua aceea, s-au rânduit oameni care să privegheze asupra odăilor care slujeau de cămări pentru darurile de mâncare, cele dintâi roade şi zeciuieli. Ei au fost însărcinaţi să adune în ele, din ţinutul cetăţilor, părţile hotărâte de Lege preoţilor şi leviţilor. Căci Iuda se bucura că preoţii şi leviţii erau la locul lor,

On that day men were appointed over the storerooms, the contributions, the firstfruits, and the tithes, to gather into them the portions required by the Law for the priests and for the Levites according to the fields of the towns, for Judah rejoiced over the priests and the Levites who ministered.

Ők vigyáztak ugyanis az istentisztelet rendjére és a tisztaság rendjére. Az énekesek és a kapuőrök is szolgálatba álltak Dávidnak és fiának, Salamonnak a parancsa szerint.

Mint a kik megőrzik Istenök rendtartását s a tisztaság rendtartását, és az énekesek és a kapunállók [is ott állának tisztökben], Dávidnak és az ő fiának, Salamonnak parancsolatja szerint;

And both the singers and the porters kept the ward of their God, and the ward of the purification, according to the commandment of David, and of Solomon his son.

păzind tot ce privea slujba lui Dumnezeu şi a curăţărilor. Cântăreţii şi uşierii îşi împlineau şi ei slujbele, după rânduiala lui David şi a fiului său Solomon.

And they performed the service of their God and the service of purification, as did the singers and the gatekeepers, according to the command of David and his son Solomon.

Mert már Dávid és Ászáf napjaiban is, régtől fogva voltak, akik vezették az énekeseket és az Istennek hálát adó és őt dicsérő éneklést.

Mert Dávidnak napjaiban Asáf vala régtől fogva az énekesek és az Istennek hálát adó és őt dícsérő éneklésnek vezetője.

For in the days of David and Asaph of old there were chief of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving unto God.

Căci odinioară, pe vremea lui David şi a lui Asaf, erau căpetenii peste cântăreţi şi cântări de laudă şi de mulţumire în cinstea lui Dumnezeu.

For long ago in the days of David and Asaph there were directors of the singers, and there were songs of praise and thanksgiving to God.

Zerubbábel és Nehémiás idejében egész Izráel naponta megadta az énekeseknek és a kapuőröknek a maguk napi részét. Odaadták a szent adományokat a lévitáknak, a léviták pedig átadták azokat Áron fiainak.

És a Zorobábel és Nehémiás napjaiban megadja vala az egész Izráel az énekeseknek és kapunállóknak az ő részöket naponként, nevezetesen oda szentelik vala azt a Lévitáknak, a Léviták pedig az Áron fiainak.

And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, every day his portion: and they sanctified holy things unto the Levites; and the Levites sanctified them unto the children of Aaron.

Tot Israelul a dat, pe vremea lui Zorobabel şi Neemia, părţile cuvenite cântăreţilor şi uşierilor, zi de zi; au dat leviţilor lucrurile sfinţite, iar leviţii au dat fiilor lui Aaron lucrurile sfinţite cuvenite lor.

And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel and in the days of Nehemiah gave the daily portions for the singers and the gatekeepers; and they set apart that which was for the Levites; and the Levites set apart that which was for the sons of Aaron.
