Azután azt mondta nekik: Bizony mondom nektek, hogy vannak némelyek az itt állók között, akik nem ízlelik meg a halált addig, amíg meg nem látják, hogy az Isten országa eljött hatalommal.

And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.

And he said to them, “Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God after it has come with power.”

And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.

And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.

and his clothes became radiant, intensely white, as no one on earth could bleach them.

És megjelent nekik Illés Mózessel együtt, és beszélgettek Jézussal.

És megjelenék nékik Mózes Illéssel együtt, és beszélnek vala Jézussal.

And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus.

Ilie li s-a arătat împreună cu Moise şi stătea de vorbă cu Isus.

And there appeared to them Elijah with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus.

Ekkor megszólalt Péter, és azt mondta Jézusnak: Mester, jó nekünk itt lenni, készítsünk azért három hajlékot, neked egyet, Mózesnek egyet és Illésnek is egyet!

Péter pedig megszólalván, monda Jézusnak: Mester, jó nékünk itt lenni: csináljunk azért három hajlékot, néked egyet, Mózesnek is egyet, Illésnek is egyet.

And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

Petru a luat cuvântul şi a zis lui Isus: „Învăţătorule, este bine să stăm aici; să facem trei colibe: una pentru Tine, una pentru Moise, şi una pentru Ilie.”

And Peter said to Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good that we are here. Let us make three tents, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah.”

De nem tudta, mit beszél, annyira megrémültek.

De nem tudja vala mit beszél, mivelhogy megrémülének.

For he wist not what to say; for they were sore afraid.

Căci nu ştia ce să zică, atât de mare spaimă îi apucase.

For he did not know what to say, for they were terrified.

És felhő támadt, amely beborította őket, és egy hang hallatszott a felhőből: Ez az én szeretett Fiam, őrá hallgassatok.

És felhő támada, mely őket befogá, és a felhőből szózat jöve, mondván: Ez az én szerelmes Fiam; őt hallgassátok.

And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

A venit un nor şi i-a acoperit cu umbra lui; şi din nor s-a auzit un glas care zicea: „Acesta este Fiul Meu preaiubit: de El să ascultaţi!”

And a cloud overshadowed them, and a voice came out of the cloud, “This is my beloved Son; listen to him.”

És ahogy körülnéztek, hirtelen már senkit sem láttak többé maguk mellett, csak egyedül Jézust.

És mikor nagyhirtelen körültekintének, senkit sem látának többé maguk körül, egyedül a Jézust.

And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves.

Îndată ucenicii s-au uitat împrejur, şi n-au mai văzut pe nimeni decât pe Isus singur cu ei.

And suddenly, looking around, they no longer saw anyone with them but Jesus only.

Amikor a hegyről lejöttek, megparancsolta nekik, hogy addig senkinek se mondják el, amit láttak, amíg az Emberfia fel nem támad a halálból.

Mikor pedig a hegyről leszállának, megparancsolá nékik, hogy senkinek se beszéljék el, a mit láttak vala, csak a mikor az embernek Fia a halálból feltámad.

And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead.

Pe când se coborau de pe munte, Isus le-a poruncit să nu spună nimănui ce au văzut, până va învia Fiul omului dintre cei morţi.

And as they were coming down the mountain, he charged them to tell no one what they had seen, until the Son of Man had risen from the dead.

Meg is jegyezték ezt a szót, és egymás között azon tanakodtak, hogy mit jelent a halálból feltámadni.

És ezt a szót megtarták magukban, tudakozván egymás között, mit tesz a halálból feltámadni?

And they kept that saying with themselves, questioning one with another what the rising from the dead should mean.

Ei au păstrat în ei lucrul acesta şi se întrebau între ei ce să însemne învierea aceea dintre cei morţi.

So they kept the matter to themselves, questioning what this rising from the dead might mean.

Majd megkérdezték őt: Miért mondják az írástudók, hogy előbb Illésnek kell eljönnie?

És megkérdezék őt, mondván: Miért mondják az írástudók, hogy előbb Illésnek kell eljőnie?

And they asked him, saying, Why say the scribes that Elias must first come?

Ucenicii I-au pus următoarea întrebare: „Pentru ce zic cărturarii că trebuie să vină întâi Ilie?”

And they asked him, “Why do the scribes say that first Elijah must come?”

Ő pedig így válaszolt: Illés csakugyan előbb jön el, és mindent helyreállít, de akkor miért van megírva az Emberfiáról, hogy sokat kell szenvednie és megvettetnie?

Ő pedig felelvén, monda nékik: Illés ugyan előbb eljövén helyre állít mindent; de hogyan van az embernek Fiáról megírva, hogy sokat kell szenvednie és megvettetnie?

And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought.

El le-a răspuns: „Ilie va veni întâi; şi va aşeza din nou toate lucrurile; tot aşa după cum este scris despre Fiul omului că trebuie să pătimească mult şi să fie defăimat.

And he said to them, “Elijah does come first to restore all things. And how is it written of the Son of Man that he should suffer many things and be treated with contempt?

Hanem azt mondom nektek, hogy Illés el is jött, és azt tették vele, amit akartak, ahogyan meg van írva róla.

But I say unto you, That Elias is indeed come, and they have done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him.

But I tell you that Elijah has come, and they did to him whatever they pleased, as it is written of him.”

Amikor a tanítványok a közelébe értek, nagy sokaságot láttak körülöttük, és írástudókat is, akik vitatkoztak velük.

És mikor a tanítványokhoz ment vala, nagy sokaságot láta körülöttök, és írástudókat, a kik azokkal versengenek vala.

And when he came to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes questioning with them.

Când au ajuns la ucenici, au văzut mult norod împrejurul lor, şi pe cărturari întrebându-se cu ei.

And when they came to the disciples, they saw a great crowd around them, and scribes arguing with them.

Amikor a sokaság meglátta őt, mindjárt meglepődtek, majd elébe siettek, és köszöntötték.

És az egész sokaság meglátván őt, azonnal elálmélkodék, és hozzásietvén köszönté őt.

And straightway all the people, when they beheld him, were greatly amazed, and running to him saluted him.

De îndată ce a văzut norodul pe Isus, s-a mirat şi a alergat la El să I se închine.

And immediately all the crowd, when they saw him, were greatly amazed and ran up to him and greeted him.

Ő pedig megkérdezte tőlük: Mit vitatkoztok velük?

Ő pedig megkérdezé az írástudókat: Mit versengetek ezekkel?

And he asked the scribes, What question ye with them?

El i-a întrebat: „Despre ce vă întrebaţi cu ei?”

And he asked them, “What are you arguing about with them?”

És valaki a sokaságból így válaszolt: Mester, elhoztam hozzád a fiamat, akiben néma lélek van,

És felelvén egy a sokaságból, monda: Mester, ide hoztam hozzád az én fiamat, a kiben néma lélek van.

And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit;

Şi un om din norod I-a răspuns: „Învăţătorule, am adus la Tine pe fiul meu care este stăpânit de un duh mut.

And someone from the crowd answered him, “Teacher, I brought my son to you, for he has a spirit that makes him mute.

és valahányszor ez erőt vesz rajta, földre teperi, ő pedig tajtékzik, a fogát csikorgatja, és megmerevedik. Mondtam a tanítványaidnak, hogy űzzék ki, de nem tudták.

És a hol csak előfogja, szaggatja őt; ő pedig tajtékot túr, a fogát csikorgatja, és elfonnyad. Mondám hát tanítványaidnak, hogy űzzék ki azt, de nem tudták.

And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.

Oriunde îl apucă, îl trânteşte la pământ. Copilul face spumă la gură, scrâşneşte din dinţi şi rămâne ţeapăn. M-am rugat de ucenicii Tăi să scoată duhul, şi n-au putut.”

And whenever it seizes him, it throws him down, and he foams and grinds his teeth and becomes rigid. So I asked your disciples to cast it out, and they were not able.”

Ő erre azt mondta: Ó, hitetlen nemzedék, meddig leszek még veletek? Meddig szenvedjelek el titeket? Vezessétek hozzám!

Ő pedig felelvén néki, monda: Óh hitetlen nemzetség, meddig leszek még veletek? Meddig szenvedlek még titeket? Hozzátok őt hozzám.

He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.

„O, neam necredincios!”, le-a zis Isus. „Până când voi fi cu voi? Până când vă voi suferi? Aduceţi-l la Mine.”

And he answered them, “O faithless generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him to me.”

Odavitték, és ahogy meglátta őt a lélek, azonnal erőt vett a fiún, úgy, hogy az földre esve fetrengett és tajtékzott.

És hozzá vivék azt; és mihelyt ő meglátta azt, a lélek azonnal szaggatá azt; és leesvén a földre, tajtékot túrván fetreng vala.

And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.

L-au adus la El. Şi, cum a văzut copilul pe Isus, duhul l-a scuturat cu putere; copilul a căzut la pământ şi se zvârcolea făcând spumă la gură.

And they brought the boy to him. And when the spirit saw him, immediately it convulsed the boy, and he fell on the ground and rolled about, foaming at the mouth.

És Jézus megkérdezte az apját: Mióta van ez így? Ő pedig azt mondta: Gyermeksége óta.

És megkérdezé az atyját: Mennyi ideje, hogy ez esett rajta? Az pedig monda: Gyermeksége óta.

And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child.

Isus a întrebat pe tatăl lui: „Câtă vreme este de când îi vine aşa?” „Din copilărie”, a răspuns el.

And Jesus asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood.

És sokszor vetette őt tűzbe is, vízbe is, hogy elpusztítsa, de ha valamit tehetsz, légy segítségül nekünk, könyörülj rajtunk!

És gyakorta veté őt tűzbe is, vízbe is, hogy elveszítse őt; de ha valamit tehetsz, légy segítségül nékünk, könyörülvén rajtunk.

And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.

„Şi de multe ori duhul l-a aruncat când în foc, când în apă, ca să-l omoare. Dar dacă poţi face ceva, fie-Ţi milă de noi şi ajută-ne.”

And it has often cast him into fire and into water, to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”

Jézus pedig azt mondta neki: Hogy tehetsz-e valamit? Minden lehetséges a hívőnek!

Jézus pedig monda néki: Ha hiheted azt, minden lehetséges a hívőnek.

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Isus a răspuns: „Tu zici: „Dacă poţi!”… Toate lucrurile sunt cu putinţă celui ce crede!”

And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.”

A gyermek apja pedig könnyek között tüstént így kiáltott: Hiszek, Uram! Légy segítségül az én hitetlenségemben!

A gyermek atyja pedig azonnal kiáltván, könnyhullatással monda: Hiszek Uram! Légy segítségül az én hitetlenségemnek.

And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

Îndată tatăl copilului a strigat cu lacrimi: „Cred, Doamne! Ajută necredinţei mele!”

Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!”

Jézus pedig, amikor látta, hogy a sokaság még inkább összetódul, megdorgálta a tisztátalan lelket, és azt mondta neki: Te néma és süket lélek, parancsolom neked, hogy menj ki belőle, és többé vissza ne térj!

Jézus pedig mikor látta vala, hogy a sokaság még inkább összetódul, megdorgálá a tisztátalan lelket, mondván néki: Te néma és siket lélek, én parancsolom néked, menj ki belőle, és többé belé ne menj!

When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.

Când a văzut Isus că norodul vine în fuga mare spre El, a mustrat duhul necurat şi i-a zis: „Duh mut şi surd, îţi poruncesc să ieşi afară din copilul acesta şi să nu mai intri în el.”

And when Jesus saw that a crowd came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”

Ekkor az kiáltás és erős rángások közepette kiment, a gyermek pedig olyan lett, mint egy halott, annyira, hogy sokan azt mondták, hogy meghalt.

És kiáltás és erős szaggatás között kiméne; az pedig olyan lőn, mint egy halott, annyira, hogy sokan azt mondják vala, hogy meghalt.

And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.

Şi duhul a ieşit, ţipând şi scuturându-l cu mare putere. Copilul a rămas ca mort, aşa că mulţi ziceau: „A murit!”

And after crying out and convulsing him terribly, it came out, and the boy was like a corpse, so that most of them said, “He is dead.”

Jézus pedig megfogta a kezét, fölemelte, mire az talpra állt.

Jézus pedig megfogván kezét, fölemelé; és az fölkele.

But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.

Dar Isus l-a apucat de mână şi l-a ridicat. Şi el s-a sculat în picioare.

But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose.

Amikor azután bement a házba, a tanítványai megkérdezték őt maguk között: Mi miért nem űzhettük ki azt?

Mikor pedig bement vala a házba, tanítványai megkérdezék őt külön: Mi miért nem űzhettük ki azt?

And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?

Când a intrat Isus în casă, ucenicii Lui L-au întrebat deoparte: „Noi de ce n-am putut să scoatem duhul acesta?”

And when he had entered the house, his disciples asked him privately, “Why could we not cast it out?”

Ő pedig azt mondta nekik: Ezt a fajtát semmivel sem lehet kiűzni, csak imádsággal.

Ő pedig monda nékik: Ez a faj semmivel sem űzhető ki, csupán könyörgéssel és bőjtöléssel.

And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

„Acest soi de draci”, le-a zis El, „nu poate ieşi decât prin rugăciune şi post.”

And he said to them, “This kind cannot be driven out by anything but prayer.”

Majd onnan eltávozva Galileán mentek át. De nem akarta, hogy valaki is tudjon róla,

És onnét kimenvén, Galileán mennek vala át; és nem akará, hogy valaki megtudja.

And they departed thence, and passed through Galilee; and he would not that any man should know it.

Au plecat de acolo şi au trecut prin Galileea. Isus nu voia să ştie nimeni că trece.

They went on from there and passed through Galilee. And he did not want anyone to know,

mert tanította tanítványait, és azt mondta nekik: Az Emberfia az emberek kezébe adatik, és megölik, de miután megölték, harmadnapra feltámad.

Mert tanítja vala tanítványait, és ezt mondja vala nékik: Az embernek Fia az emberek kezébe adatik, és megölik őt; de ha megölték, harmadnapra föltámad.

For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.

Căci învăţa pe ucenicii Săi şi zicea: „Fiul omului va fi dat în mâinile oamenilor; ei Îl vor omorî, şi a treia zi după ce-L vor omorî, va învia.”

for he was teaching his disciples, saying to them, “The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men, and they will kill him. And when he is killed, after three days he will rise.”

Ám ők nem értették meg ezt a beszédet, de féltek őt megkérdezni.

De ők nem értik vala e mondást, és féltek őt megkérdezni.

But they understood not that saying, and were afraid to ask him.

But they did not understand the saying, and were afraid to ask him.

Közben megérkeztek Kapernaumba. Már otthon voltak, amikor megkérdezte őket: Miről vitatkoztatok útközben?

És elméne Kapernaumba. És odahaza megkérdezé őket: Mi felett vetekedtetek egymással az úton?

And he came to Capernaum: and being in the house he asked them, What was it that ye disputed among yourselves by the way?

Apoi au venit la Capernaum. Când era în casă, Isus i-a întrebat: „Despre ce vorbeaţi unul cu altul pe drum?”

And they came to Capernaum. And when he was in the house he asked them, “What were you discussing on the way?”

De ők hallgattak, mert egymás között azon vitatkoztak az úton, hogy ki a nagyobb.

De ők hallgatának, mert egymás között a felett vetekedtek vala az úton, ki a nagyobb?

But they held their peace: for by the way they had disputed among themselves, who should be the greatest.

Dar ei tăceau, pentru că pe drum se certaseră între ei, ca să ştie cine este cel mai mare.

But they kept silent, for on the way they had argued with one another about who was the greatest.

Ekkor leült, odaszólította a tizenkettőt, és azt mondta nekik: Ha valaki első akar lenni, legyen mindenki között az utolsó és mindenkinek a szolgája.

És leülvén, odaszólítá a tizenkettőt, és monda nékik: Ha valaki első akar lenni, legyen mindenek között utolsó és mindeneknek szolgája.

And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.

Atunci Isus a şezut jos, a chemat pe cei doisprezece şi le-a zis: „Dacă vrea cineva să fie cel dintâi, trebuie să fie cel mai de pe urmă din toţi şi slujitorul tuturor!”

And he sat down and called the twelve. And he said to them, “If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”

És kézen fogott egy kisgyermeket, közéjük állította, majd karjába vette, és azt mondta nekik:

És előfogván egy gyermeket, közéjök állatá azt; és ölébe vévén azt, monda nékik:

And he took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said unto them,

Şi a luat un copilaş şi l-a aşezat în mijlocul lor; apoi l-a luat în braţe şi le-a zis:

And he took a child and put him in the midst of them, and taking him in his arms, he said to them,

Aki az ilyen kisgyermekek közül egyet befogad az én nevemben, engem fogad be, és aki engem befogad, nem engem fogad be, hanem azt, aki engem elküldött.

A ki az ilyen gyermekek közül egyet befogad az én nevemben, engem fogad be; és a ki engem befogad, nem engem fogad be, hanem azt, a ki engem elbocsátott.

Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.

„Oricine primeşte pe unul din aceşti copilaşi, în Numele Meu, Mă primeşte pe Mine; şi oricine Mă primeşte pe Mine, nu Mă primeşte pe Mine, ci pe Cel ce M-a trimis pe Mine.”

“Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me, receives not me but him who sent me.”

János azt mondta neki: Mester, láttunk valakit, aki a te nevedben ördögöket űz, de nem követ minket, és mi megtiltottuk neki, mivelhogy nem tartozik közénk.

János pedig felele néki, mondván: Mester, látánk valakit, a ki a te neveddel ördögöket űz, a ki nem követ minket; és eltiltók őt, mivelhogy nem követ minket.

And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.

Ioan I-a zis: „Învăţătorule, noi am văzut pe un om scoţând draci în Numele Tău; şi l-am oprit, pentru că nu venea după noi.”

John said to him, “Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in your name, and we tried to stop him, because he was not following us.”

Jézus pedig azt mondta: Ne tiltsátok el őt, mert senki sincs, aki csodát tesz az én nevemben, ugyanakkor gonoszul szólna felőlem.

Jézus pedig monda: Ne tiltsátok el őt; mert senki sincs, a ki csodát tesz az én nevemben és mindjárt gonoszul szólhatna felőlem.

But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.

„Nu-l opriţi”, a răspuns Isus, „căci nu este nimeni care să facă minuni în Numele Meu, şi să Mă poată grăi de rău îndată după aceea.

But Jesus said, “Do not stop him, for no one who does a mighty work in my name will be able soon afterward to speak evil of me.

Mert aki nincs ellenünk, az velünk van.

Mert a ki nincs ellenünk, mellettünk van.

For he that is not against us is on our part.

Cine nu este împotriva noastră este pentru noi.

For the one who is not against us is for us.

Mert aki inni ad nektek egy pohár vizet az én nevemben, mivelhogy a Krisztuséi vagytok, bizony mondom nektek, nem marad jutalom nélkül.

For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.

Şi oricine vă va da de băut un pahar cu apă, în Numele Meu, pentru că sunteţi ucenici ai lui Hristos, adevărat vă spun că nu-şi va pierde răsplata.

For truly, I say to you, whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because you belong to Christ will by no means lose his reward.

Aki pedig csak egyet is megbotránkoztat e kicsinyek közül, akik hisznek bennem, jobb annak, ha malomkövet kötnek a nyakára, és a tengerbe vetik.

And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

Dar, dacă va face cineva să păcătuiască pe unul din aceşti micuţi care cred în Mine, ar fi mai bine pentru el să i se lege de gât o piatră mare de moară şi să fie aruncat în mare.

“Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.

Ha a kezed botránkoztat meg, vágd le azt, mert jobb neked csonkán menni az életre, mint két kézzel menni a gyehennára, az olthatatlan tűzre,

És ha megbotránkoztat téged a te kezed, vágd le azt: jobb néked csonkán bemenned az életre, mint két kézzel menned a gyehennára, a megolthatatlan tűzre.

And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

Dacă mâna ta te face să cazi în păcat, taie-o; este mai bine pentru tine să intri ciung în viaţă, decât să ai două mâini, şi să mergi în gheenă, în focul care nu se stinge,

And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than with two hands to go to hell, to the unquenchable fire.

A hol az ő férgök meg nem hal, és tüzök el nem aluszik.

Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

unde viermele lor nu moare, şi focul nu se stinge.

And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame than with two feet to be thrown into hell.

És ha a lábad botránkoztat meg, vágd le azt, mert jobb neked sántán menni az életre, mint két lábbal a gyehennára vettetni, az olthatatlan tűzre,

És ha a te lábad botránkoztat meg téged, vágd le azt: jobb néked sántán bemenned az életre, mint két lábbal vettetned a gyehennára, a megolthatatlan tűzre.

And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

Dacă piciorul tău te face să cazi în păcat, taie-l; este mai bine pentru tine să intri în viaţă şchiop, decât să ai două picioare, şi să fii aruncat în gheenă, în focul care nu se stinge,

And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into hell,

Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

‘where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.’

És ha a szemed botránkoztat meg, vájd ki azt, mert jobb neked fél szemmel menni az Isten országába, mint két szemmel vettetni a tüzes gyehennára,

És ha a te szemed botránkoztat meg téged, vájd ki azt: jobb néked félszemmel bemenned az Isten országába, mint két szemmel vettetned a tüzes gyehennára.

And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:

Şi dacă ochiul tău te face să cazi în păcat, scoate-l; este mai bine pentru tine să intri în Împărăţia lui Dumnezeu numai cu un ochi, decât să ai doi ochi, şi să fii aruncat în focul gheenei,

For everyone will be salted with fire.

Salt is good, but if the salt has lost its saltiness, how will you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.”

Mert mindenki tűzzel sózatik meg, és minden áldozat sóval sózatik meg.

For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.

Pentru că fiecare om va fi sărat cu foc, şi orice jertfă va fi sărată cu sare.

Jó a só, de ha a só ízét veszti, mivel adtok ízt neki? Legyen bennetek só, és legyetek békességben egymással.

Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

Sarea este bună; dar dacă sarea îşi pierde puterea de a săra, cu ce îi veţi da înapoi puterea aceasta? Să aveţi sare în voi înşivă şi să trăiţi în pace unii cu alţii.”
