És kezdett nekik példázatokban beszélni: Egy ember szőlőt ültetett, körülkerítette, borsajtót ásott benne, és tornyot épített, majd bérbe adta munkásoknak, és elutazott.

And he began to speak unto them by parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and digged a place for the winefat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country.

And he began to speak to them in parables. “A man planted a vineyard and put a fence around it and dug a pit for the winepress and built a tower, and leased it to tenants and went into another country.

Ismét küldött hozzájuk egy másik szolgát, azt fejbe verték, és gyalázatosan elbántak vele.

És ismét külde hozzájuk egy másik szolgát; azt pedig kővel dobálván meg, fejét betörék, és gyalázattal illetve, visszaküldék.

And again he sent unto them another servant; and at him they cast stones, and wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully handled.

A trimis iarăşi la ei un alt rob; ei l-au rănit la cap şi l-au batjocorit.

Again he sent to them another servant, and they struck him on the head and treated him shamefully.

Ezután ismét másikat küldött, ezt pedig megölték. Több más szolgát is küldött, akik közül némelyeket megvertek, másokat pedig megöltek.

And again he sent another; and him they killed, and many others; beating some, and killing some.

Még volt egy egyetlen, szeretett fia is, utoljára őt is elküldte hozzájuk, és ezt mondta: A fiamat meg fogják becsülni.

Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son.

Mai avea un singur fiu preaiubit; la urmă, l-a trimis şi pe el la ei. „Vor primi cu cinste pe fiul meu!”, zicea el.

He had still one other, a beloved son. Finally he sent him to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’

A munkások azonban így beszéltek egymás között: Ez az örökös, gyertek, öljük meg, és a miénk lesz az örökség!

But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be our's.

Megragadták, megölték, és kidobták a szőlőn kívülre.

And they took him, and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.

Mit tesz erre majd a szőlő ura? Eljön, és elveszti a munkásokat, a szőlőt pedig másoknak adja.

Mit cselekszik hát a szőlőnek ura? Eljő és elveszti a munkásokat, és a szőlőt másoknak adja.

What shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others.

Acum, ce va face stăpânul viei? Va veni, va nimici pe vierii aceia, şi via o va da altora.

What will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the tenants and give the vineyard to others.

Nem olvastátok az Írást? Amely követ az építők félrelöktek, az lett a szegletkő.

And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner:

This was the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

Azon voltak már, hogy elfogják, de féltek a sokaságtól. Ezért, noha megértették, hogy a példázatot ellenük mondta, mégis otthagyták őt, és továbbmentek.

És igyekeznek vala őt megfogni, de féltek a sokaságtól. Mert tudták, hogy a példázatot ellenük mondotta. Azért elhagyván őt, tovább menének.

And they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way.

Ei căutau să-L prindă, dar se temeau de norod. Pricepuseră că împotriva lor spusese Isus pilda aceasta. Şi L-au lăsat şi au plecat.

And they were seeking to arrest him but feared the people, for they perceived that he had told the parable against them. So they left him and went away.

Majd elküldtek hozzá néhányat a farizeusok és a Heródes-pártiak közül, hogy megfogják beszédben.

And they send unto him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in his words.

Apoi au trimis la Isus pe unii din farisei şi din irodieni, ca să-L prindă cu vorba.

And they sent to him some of the Pharisees and some of the Herodians, to trap him in his talk.

Azok odamentek, és így szóltak hozzá: Mester, tudjuk, hogy igaz vagy, és nem vagy tekintettel senkire, mert nem az emberek személyére nézel, hanem az igazsághoz ragaszkodva tanítod az Isten útját. Szabad-e a császárnak adót fizetni, vagy nem? Fizessünk-e vagy ne fizessünk?

Azok pedig odamenvén, mondának néki: Mester, tudjuk hogy igaz vagy és nem gondolsz senkivel; mert nem tekintesz emberek személyére, hanem igazság szerint tanítod az Istennek útját. Szabad-é a császárnak adót fizetni vagy nem? Fizessünk-é vagy ne fizessünk?

And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

Aceştia au venit şi I-au zis: „Învăţătorule, ştim că spui adevărul şi nu-Ţi pasă de nimeni; căci nu cauţi la faţa oamenilor şi înveţi pe oameni calea lui Dumnezeu în adevăr. Se cade să plătim bir cezarului sau nu?

And they came and said to him, “Teacher, we know that you are true and do not care about anyone’s opinion. For you are not swayed by appearances, but truly teach the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not? Should we pay them, or should we not?”

Ő pedig átlátta kétszínűségüket, és azt mondta nekik: Mit kísértetek engem? Hozzatok nekem egy dénárt, hadd lássam!

Ő pedig ismervén az ő képmutatásukat, monda nékik: Mit kísértetek engem? Hozzatok nekem egy pénzt, hogy lássam.

Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye me? bring me a penny, that I may see it.

Să plătim sau să nu plătim?” Isus le-a cunoscut făţărnicia şi le-a răspuns: „Pentru ce Mă ispitiţi? Aduceţi-Mi un ban ca să-l văd.”

But, knowing their hypocrisy, he said to them, “Why put me to the test? Bring me a denarius and let me look at it.”

Azok hoztak neki, mire így szólt: Kié ez a kép és a felirat? Így feleltek: A császáré.

Azok pedig hozának. És monda nékik: Kié ez a kép és a felírás? Azok pedig mondának néki: A Császáré.

And they brought it. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Caesar's.

I-au adus un ban; şi Isus i-a întrebat: „Chipul acesta şi slovele scrise pe el, ale cui sunt?” „Ale cezarului”, I-au răspuns ei.

And they brought one. And he said to them, “Whose likeness and inscription is this?” They said to him, “Caesar’s.”

Jézus ekkor azt mondta nekik: Adjátok meg a császárnak, ami a császáré, és az Istennek, ami az Istené! És igen elálmélkodtak rajta.

És felelvén Jézus, monda nékik: Adjátok meg a mi a Császáré, a Császárnak, és a mi az Istené, az Istennek. És elálmélkodának ő rajta.

And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him.

Atunci Isus le-a zis: „Daţi, dar, cezarului ce este al cezarului, şi lui Dumnezeu ce este al lui Dumnezeu.” Şi se mirau foarte mult de El.

Jesus said to them, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” And they marveled at him.

Ezután szadduceusok is jöttek hozzá, akik tagadják a feltámadást, és megkérdezték tőle:

Then come unto him the Sadducees, which say there is no resurrection; and they asked him, saying,

And Sadducees came to him, who say that there is no resurrection. And they asked him a question, saying,

Mester, Mózes azt írta nekünk, hogy ha valakinek a testvére meghal, és özvegyet hagy hátra, gyermeket pedig nem, akkor az özvegyet vegye el az ő testvére, és támasszon utódot testvérének.

Mester, Mózes azt írta nékünk, hogy ha valakinek fitestvére meghalt, és feleséget hagyott hátra, gyermekeket pedig nem hagyott, akkor az ő feleségét vegye el az ő fitestvére, és támasszon magot a fitestvérének.

Master, Moses wrote unto us, If a man's brother die, and leave his wife behind him, and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

„Învăţătorule, iată ce ne-a scris Moise: „Dacă moare fratele cuiva şi-i rămâne nevasta fără să aibă copii, fratele său să ia pe nevasta lui şi să ridice urmaş fratelui său.”

“Teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a man’s brother dies and leaves a wife, but leaves no child, the man must take the widow and raise up offspring for his brother.

Heten voltak azért testvérek. Az első feleséget vett, de meghalt, és nem hagyott utódot.

Heten valának tehát fitestvérek. És az első feleséget vőn, de meghalván, magot nem hagya.

Now there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed.

Erau, dar, şapte fraţi. Cel dintâi s-a însurat şi a murit fără să lase urmaş.

There were seven brothers; the first took a wife, and when he died left no offspring.

Majd a második is elvette az asszonyt, de meghalt, és ő sem hagyott utódot. Hasonlóképpen történt a harmadikkal is.

És a második elvevé az asszonyt, de meghala, és magot ő sem hagya: a harmadik is hasonlóképen;

And the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed: and the third likewise.

Al doilea a luat de nevastă pe văduvă şi a murit fără să lase urmaş. Tot aşa şi al treilea.

And the second took her, and died, leaving no offspring. And the third likewise.

És a hét közül egy sem hagyott utódot. Végül meghalt az asszony is.

És mind a hét elvevé azt, és magot nem hagyának. Legutoljára meghalt az asszony is.

And the seven had her, and left no seed: last of all the woman died also.

Şi niciunul din cei şapte n-a lăsat urmaş. După ei toţi, a murit şi femeia.

And the seven left no offspring. Last of all the woman also died.

A feltámadáskor, amikor majd feltámadnak, melyiké lesz az asszony? Mert mind a hétnek a felesége volt.

In the resurrection therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them? for the seven had her to wife.

La înviere, nevasta căruia dintre ei va fi ea? Căci toţi şapte au avut-o de nevastă.”

In the resurrection, when they rise again, whose wife will she be? For the seven had her as wife.”

Jézus pedig így válaszolt nekik: Nemde azért tévelyegtek, mert nem ismeritek az Írásokat, sem Isten hatalmát?

Jézus pedig felelvén, monda nékik: Avagy nem azért tévelyegtek-é, mert nem ismeritek az írásokat, sem az Istennek hatalmát?

And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?

Drept răspuns, Isus le-a zis: „Oare nu vă rătăciţi voi, din pricină că nu pricepeţi nici Scripturile, nici puterea lui Dumnezeu?

Jesus said to them, “Is this not the reason you are wrong, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God?

Mert amikor a halálból feltámadnak, nem nősülnek, férjhez sem mennek, hanem olyanok lesznek, mint az angyalok a mennyekben.

Mert mikor a halálból feltámadnak, sem nem házasodnak, sem férjhez nem mennek, hanem olyanok lesznek, mint az angyalok a mennyekben.

For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

Căci după ce vor învia din morţi, nici nu se vor însura, nici nu se vor mărita, ci vor fi ca îngerii în ceruri.

For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.

A halottak feltámadásáról pedig nem olvastátok Mózes könyvében, hogy mit mondott neki Isten a csipkebokornál: Én vagyok Ábrahám Istene, Izsák Istene és Jákób Istene?

A halottakról pedig, hogy feltámadnak, nem olvastátok-é a Mózes könyvében, a csipkebokornál, hogy mi módon szólott néki az Isten, mondván: Én vagyok Ábrahám Istene, és Izsák Istene, és Jákób Istene.

And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?

În ce priveşte învierea morţilor, oare n-aţi citit în cartea lui Moise, în locul unde se vorbeşte despre „Rug”, ce i-a spus Dumnezeu, când a zis: „Eu sunt Dumnezeul lui Avraam, Dumnezeul lui Isaac şi Dumnezeul lui Iacov”?

And as for the dead being raised, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the passage about the bush, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’?

Az Isten nem a halottak Istene, hanem az élőké. Ti tehát nagyon tévelyegtek.

He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.

He is not God of the dead, but of the living. You are quite wrong.”

Akkor odament hozzá az egyik írástudó, aki hallotta a vitájukat, és tudta, hogy jól megfelelt nekik, és megkérdezte tőle: Melyik az első az összes parancsolat közül?

Akkor hozzá menvén egy az írástudók közül, a ki az ő vetekedésöket hallotta vala, és tudván, hogy jól megfelele nékik, megkérdezé tőle: Melyik az első minden parancsolatok között?

And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?

Unul din cărturari, care-i auzise vorbind, fiindcă ştia că Isus răspunsese bine saducheilor, a venit la El şi L-a întrebat: „Care este cea dintâi dintre toate poruncile?”

And one of the scribes came up and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he answered them well, asked him, “Which commandment is the most important of all?”

Jézus pedig azt felelte neki: Ez az első: Halld, Izráel, az Úr, a mi Istenünk az egyetlen Úr.

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.

Szeresd azért az Urat, a te Istenedet teljes szívedből, teljes lelkedből, teljes elmédből és minden erőddel. Ez az első parancsolat.

Akkor azt mondta neki az írástudó: Jól van, Mester, helyesen mondtad, hogy egy Isten van, és rajta kívül nincs más.

And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:

And the scribe said to him, “You are right, Teacher. You have truly said that he is one, and there is no other besides him.

And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

And to love him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is much more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

Jézus pedig látva, hogy bölcsen felelt, azt mondta neki: Nem vagy messze az Isten országától. És többé senki sem merte őt megkérdezni.

And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.

Isus a văzut că a răspuns cu pricepere şi i-a zis: „Tu nu eşti departe de Împărăţia lui Dumnezeu.” Şi nimeni nu îndrăznea să-I mai pună întrebări.

And when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” And after that no one dared to ask him any more questions.

Amikor Jézus a templomban tanított, feltette a kérdést: Hogy mondhatják az írástudók, hogy a Krisztus Dávid fia?

És felele Jézus és monda, a mint a templomban tanít vala: Mi módon mondják az írástudók, hogy a Krisztus Dávidnak Fia?

And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the son of David?

Pe când învăţa pe norod în Templu, Isus a zis: „Cum zic cărturarii că Hristosul este fiul lui David?

And as Jesus taught in the temple, he said, “How can the scribes say that the Christ is the son of David?

Hiszen Dávid maga mondta a Szentlélek által: Azt mondta az Úr az én uramnak, hogy ülj az én jobb kezem felől, míg ellenségedet a lábad alá nem vetem.

Hiszen Dávid maga mondotta a Szent Lélek által: Monda az Úr az én uramnak: ülj az én jobb kezem felől, míglen vetem a te ellenségeidet lábaid alá zsámolyul.

For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Însuşi David, fiind insuflat de Duhul Sfânt, a zis: „Domnul a zis Domnului meu: „Şezi la dreapta Mea, până voi pune pe vrăjmaşii Tăi sub picioarele Tale.”

David himself, in the Holy Spirit, declared, “‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I put your enemies under your feet.”’

Ha tehát maga Dávid nevezi őt Urának, akkor hogyan lehet neki a fia? És a nagy sokaság örömest hallgatta.

David therefore himself calleth him Lord; and whence is he then his son? And the common people heard him gladly.

David himself calls him Lord. So how is he his son?” And the great throng heard him gladly.

Tanításában még azt is mondta: Őrizkedjetek az írástudóktól, akik szívesen járnak hosszú köntösökben, szeretik a piacokon való köszöntéseket,

Ő pedig monda nékik az ő tanításában: Őrizkedjetek az írástudóktól, a kik örömest járnak hosszú köntösökben és szeretik a piaczokon való köszöntéseket.

And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces,

În învăţătura pe care le-o dădea, Isus le zicea: „Păziţi-vă de cărturari, cărora le place să umble în haine lungi şi să le facă lumea plecăciuni prin pieţe.

And in his teaching he said, “Beware of the scribes, who like to walk around in long robes and like greetings in the marketplaces

az első üléseket a zsinagógákban és a főhelyeket a lakomákon,

And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts:

and have the best seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at feasts,

akik fölemésztik az özvegyek házát, és színből hosszan imádkoznak. Ezek súlyosabb ítéletben részesülnek.

A kik az özvegyeknek házát fölemésztik és színből hosszan imádkoznak: ezek súlyosabb ítélet alá esnek.

Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.

casele văduvelor le mănâncă şi fac rugăciuni lungi de ochii lumii. O mai mare osândă va veni peste ei.”

who devour widows’ houses and for a pretense make long prayers. They will receive the greater condemnation.”

Majd leült Jézus a templomi persellyel szemben, és figyelte, hogy a sokaság miként tesz pénzt a perselybe. Sok gazdag sokat dobott abba.

És leülvén Jézus a templomperselynek átellenében, nézi vala, hogy a sokaság miként vet pénzt a perselybe. Sok gazdag pedig sokat vet vala abba.

And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.

Isus şedea jos în faţa vistieriei Templului şi Se uita cum arunca norodul bani în vistierie. Mulţi, care erau bogaţi, aruncau mult.

And he sat down opposite the treasury and watched the people putting money into the offering box. Many rich people put in large sums.

Egy szegény özvegyasszony is odajött, és két fillért, azaz egy negyed pénzt dobott bele.

És egy szegény özvegy asszony is odajövén, két fillért, azaz egy negyed pénzt vete bele.

And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.

A venit şi o văduvă săracă şi a aruncat doi bănuţi, care fac un gologan.

And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which make a penny.

Akkor előszólította tanítványait, és azt mondta nekik: Bizony mondom nektek, hogy ez a szegény özvegyasszony többet adott mindenki másnál.

Akkor előszólítván tanítványait, monda nékik: Bizony mondom néktek, hogy ez a szegény özvegy asszony többet vetett, hogynem mind a többi, a kik a perselybe vetettek vala.

And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:

Atunci Isus a chemat pe ucenicii Săi şi le-a zis: „Adevărat vă spun că această văduvă săracă a dat mai mult decât toţi cei ce au aruncat în vistierie;

And he called his disciples to him and said to them, “Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box.

Mert azok mindnyájan a fölöslegükből adtak, ez pedig az ő szegénységéből beledobta mindazt, amije csak volt, az egész vagyonát.

Mert azok mindnyájan az ő fölöslegükből vetének; ez pedig az ő szegénységéből, a mije csak volt, mind beveté, az ő egész vagyonát.

For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

căci toţi ceilalţi au aruncat din prisosul lor, dar ea, din sărăcia ei, a aruncat tot ce avea, tot ce-i mai rămăsese ca să trăiască.”

For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.”
