Két nap múlva volt a páska és a kovásztalan kenyerek ünnepe. A főpapok és az írástudók pedig keresték a módját, hogyan foghatnák el Jézust csellel, hogy megöljék.

Két nap mulva pedig húsvét vala és a kovásztalan kenyerek ünnepe. És a főpapok és az írástudók tanakodnak vala, hogy csalárdsággal mimódon fogják meg és öljék meg őt.

After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death.

După două zile era praznicul Paştilor şi al Azimelor. Preoţii cei mai de seamă şi cărturarii căutau cum să prindă pe Isus cu vicleşug şi să-L omoare.

It was now two days before the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. And the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how to arrest him by stealth and kill him,

Mert azt mondták: Ne az ünnepen, hogy zendülés ne támadjon a nép között.

Mert azt mondják vala: Ne az ünnepen, hogy a nép fel ne zendüljön.

But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar of the people.

Căci ziceau: „Nu în timpul praznicului, ca nu cumva să se facă tulburare în norod.”

for they said, “Not during the feast, lest there be an uproar from the people.”

Amikor pedig Betániában a leprás Simon házánál volt, és asztalhoz telepedett, egy asszony ment oda, akinél alabástromedény volt, valódi és igen drága nárdusolajjal, és feltörve az alabástromedényt Jézus fejére öntötte.

Mikor pedig Bethániában a poklos Simon házánál vala, a mint asztalhoz üle, egy asszony méne oda, a kinél alabástrom edény vala valódi és igen drága nárdus olajjal; és eltörvén az alabástrom edényt kitölté [azt] az ő fejére.

And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head.

Pe când şedea Isus la masă, în Betania, în casa lui Simon, leprosul, a venit o femeie care avea un vas de alabastru cu mir de nard curat, foarte scump; şi, după ce a spart vasul, a turnat mirul pe capul lui Isus.

And while he was at Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he was reclining at table, a woman came with an alabaster flask of ointment of pure nard, very costly, and she broke the flask and poured it over his head.

Némelyek pedig bosszankodtak magukban, és azt mondták: Mire való a kenetnek ez a pazarlása?

Némelyek pedig háborognak vala magok között és mondának: Mire való volt az olajnak ez a tékozlása?

And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made?

Unora dintre ei le-a fost necaz şi ziceau: „Ce rost are risipa aceasta de mir?

There were some who said to themselves indignantly, “Why was the ointment wasted like that?

Mert eladhatták volna azt több mint háromszáz dénárért, és a pénzt szétoszthatták volna a szegények között. És szemrehányást tettek neki.

Mert el lehetett volna azt adni háromszáz pénznél is többért, és odaadni a szegényeknek. És zúgolódnak vala ellene.

For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her.

Mirul acesta s-ar fi putut vinde cu mai mult de trei sute de lei şi să se dea săracilor.” Şi le era foarte necaz pe femeia aceea.

For this ointment could have been sold for more than three hundred denarii and given to the poor.” And they scolded her.

De Jézus megszólalt, és azt mondta: Hagyjatok békét neki! Miért bántjátok őt? Hiszen jó dolgot cselekedett velem.

Jézus pedig monda: Hagyjatok békét néki; miért bántjátok őt? jó dolgot cselekedett én velem.

And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me.

Dar Isus le-a zis: „Lăsaţi-o în pace; de ce-i faceţi supărare? Ea a făcut un lucru frumos faţă de Mine;

But Jesus said, “Leave her alone. Why do you trouble her? She has done a beautiful thing to me.

Mert szegények mindenkor lesznek veletek, és amikor csak akarjátok, jót tehettek velük, én azonban nem leszek mindig veletek.

Mert a szegények mindenkor veletek lesznek, és a mikor csak akarjátok, jót tehettek velök; de én nem leszek mindenkor veletek.

For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always.

căci pe săraci îi aveţi totdeauna cu voi şi le puteţi face bine oricând voiţi, dar pe Mine nu Mă aveţi totdeauna.

For you always have the poor with you, and whenever you want, you can do good for them. But you will not always have me.

Ő megtette, ami tőle telt: előre megkente testemet a temetésre.

Ő a mi tőle telt, azt tevé: előre megkente az én testemet a temetésre.

She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying.

Ea a făcut ce a putut; Mi-a uns trupul mai dinainte, pentru îngropare.

She has done what she could; she has anointed my body beforehand for burial.

Bizony mondom nektek, hogy mindenütt a világon, ahol csak hirdetik az evangéliumot, azt is elbeszélik az ő emlékezetére, amit ez az asszony cselekedett.

Bizony mondom néktek: Valahol csak prédikálják ezt az evangyéliomot az egész világon, a mit ez az asszony cselekedett, azt is hirdetni fogják az ő emlékezetére.

Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.

Adevărat vă spun că, oriunde va fi propovăduită Evanghelia aceasta, în toată lumea, se va istorisi şi ce a făcut femeia aceasta, spre pomenirea ei.”

And truly, I say to you, wherever the gospel is proclaimed in the whole world, what she has done will be told in memory of her.”

Akkor Júdás, az Iskáriótes, egy a tizenkettő közül, elment a főpapokhoz, hogy elárulja őt nekik.

And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray him unto them.

Then Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve, went to the chief priests in order to betray him to them.

Ők örömmel hallották ezt, és megígérték, hogy pénzt adnak neki. Ő pedig kereste a kedvező alkalmat, hogyan árulhatná el.

Azok pedig, a mint meghallák, örvendezének, és igérék, hogy pénzt adnak néki. Ő pedig keresi vala, mimódon árulhatná el őt jó alkalommal.

And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently betray him.

Când au auzit ei lucrul acesta, s-au bucurat şi i-au făgăduit bani. Şi Iuda căuta un prilej nimerit ca să-L dea în mâinile lor.

And when they heard it, they were glad and promised to give him money. And he sought an opportunity to betray him.

A kovásztalan kenyerek ünnepének első napján, amikor a húsvéti bárányt áldozzák, megkérdezték a tanítványai: Hol akarod megenni a húsvéti bárányt? Hova menjünk azt elkészíteni?

És a kovásztalan kenyerek ünnepének első napján, mikor a húsvéti bárányt vágják vala, mondának néki az ő tanítványai: Hol akarod, hogy elmenvén megkészítsük, hogy megehesd a húsvéti bárányt?

And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover?

În ziua dintâi a praznicului Azimelor, când jertfeau paştile, ucenicii lui Isus I-au zis: „Unde voieşti să ne ducem să-Ţi pregătim ca să mănânci paştile?”

And on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they sacrificed the Passover lamb, his disciples said to him, “Where will you have us go and prepare for you to eat the Passover?”

Akkor elküldött kettőt a tanítványai közül, és azt mondta nekik: Menjetek a városba, és ott találkoztok egy emberrel, aki egy korsó vizet visz. Őt kövessétek,

And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him.

El a trimis pe doi din ucenicii Săi şi le-a zis: „Duceţi-vă în cetate; acolo aveţi să întâlniţi un om ducând un ulcior cu apă: mergeţi după el.

And he sent two of his disciples and said to them, “Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him,

és ahova bemegy, mondjátok a házigazdának, hogy a Mester azt kérdezi: Hol van a szállásom, ahol a tanítványaimmal elfogyaszthatom a húsvéti bárányt?

És a hová bemegy, mondjátok a házi gazdának: A Mester kérdi: hol van az a szállás, a hol megeszem az én tanítványaimmal a húsvéti bárányt?

And wheresoever he shall go in, say ye to the goodman of the house, The Master saith, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

Unde va intra el, spuneţi stăpânului casei: „Învăţătorul zice: „Unde este odaia pentru oaspeţi, în care să mănânc paştile cu ucenicii Mei?”

and wherever he enters, say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, Where is my guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’

Ő majd mutat nektek egy tágas, berendezett és előkészített felső termet, ott készítsétek el nekünk.

És ő mutat néktek egy nagy vacsoráló házat berendezve, készen: ott készítsétek el nékünk.

And he will shew you a large upper room furnished and prepared: there make ready for us.

Şi are să vă arate o odaie mare de sus, aşternută gata: acolo să pregătiţi pentru noi.”

And he will show you a large upper room furnished and ready; there prepare for us.”

A tanítványok elmentek, és amint megérkeztek a városba, mindent úgy találtak, ahogy mondta nekik, és elkészítették a húsvéti bárányt.

Elmenének azért az ő tanítványai, és jutának a városba, és úgy találák, a mint nékik megmondotta, és elkészíték a húsvéti bárányt.

And his disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

Ucenicii au plecat, au ajuns în cetate şi au găsit aşa cum le spusese El; şi au pregătit paştile.

And the disciples set out and went to the city and found it just as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover.

Amikor beesteledett, odament a tizenkettővel.

Mikor pedig este lőn, oda méne a tizenkettővel.

And in the evening he cometh with the twelve.

Seara, Isus a venit cu cei doisprezece.

And when it was evening, he came with the twelve.

Amint letelepedtek és ettek, azt mondta Jézus: Bizony mondom nektek, egy közületek, aki most velem együtt eszik, elárul engem.

És a mikor leülnek és esznek vala monda Jézus: Bizony mondom néktek, egy közületek elárul engem, a ki velem eszik.

And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you which eateth with me shall betray me.

Pe când şedeau la masă şi mâncau, Isus a zis: „Adevărat vă spun că unul din voi, care mănâncă cu Mine, Mă va vinde.”

And as they were reclining at table and eating, Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me, one who is eating with me.”

Erre elszomorodtak, és egyenként azt kérdezték: Csak nem én?

Ők pedig kezdének szomorkodni és néki egyenként mondani: Csak nem én? A másik is: Csak nem én?

And they began to be sorrowful, and to say unto him one by one, Is it I? and another said, Is it I?

Ei au început să se întristeze şi să-I zică unul după altul: „Nu cumva sunt eu?”

They began to be sorrowful and to say to him one after another, “Is it I?”

Ő pedig azt mondta nekik: Egy a tizenkettő közül, aki velem együtt márt a tálba.

Ő pedig felelvén, monda nékik: Egy a tizenkettő közül, a ki velem együtt márt a tálba.

And he answered and said unto them, It is one of the twelve, that dippeth with me in the dish.

„Este unul din cei doisprezece”, le-a răspuns El, „şi anume, cel ce întinde mâna cu Mine în blid.

He said to them, “It is one of the twelve, one who is dipping bread into the dish with me.

Mert az Emberfia elmegy ugyan, amint meg van írva felőle, de jaj annak az embernek, aki az Emberfiát elárulja; jobb lett volna annak az embernek, ha meg sem született volna.

Az embernek Fia jóllehet elmegy, a mint meg van írva felőle; de jaj annak az embernek, a ki az embernek Fiát elárulja; jobb lenne annak az embernek, ha nem született volna.

The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.

Fiul omului, negreşit, Se duce după cum este scris despre El. Dar vai de omul acela prin care este vândut Fiul omului! Mai bine ar fi fost pentru el să nu se fi născut.”

For the Son of Man goes as it is written of him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had not been born.”

És miközben ettek, vette Jézus a kenyeret, megáldotta, megtörte, odaadta nekik, és azt mondta: Vegyétek, egyétek, ez az én testem.

És mikor ők evének, vévén Jézus a kenyeret, és hálákat adván, megtöré és adá nékik, mondván: Vegyétek, egyétek; ez az én testem.

And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.

Pe când mâncau, Isus a luat o pâine; şi, după ce a binecuvântat, a frânt-o şi le-a dat, zicând: „Luaţi, mâncaţi, acesta este trupul Meu.”

And as they were eating, he took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to them, and said, “Take; this is my body.”

Majd vette a poharat, hálát adva odaadta nekik, és mindnyájan ittak belőle.

And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.

És azt mondta nekik: Ez az én vérem, a szövetség vére, amely sokakért kiontatik.

És monda nékik: Ez az én vérem, az új szövetség [vére,] a mely sokakért kiontatik.

And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.

Şi le-a zis: „Acesta este sângele Meu, sângele legământului celui nou, care se varsă pentru mulţi.

And he said to them, “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many.

Bizony mondom nektek, nem iszom többé a szőlőtőnek terméséből addig a napig, amíg újat iszom majd az Isten országában.

Bizony mondom néktek, nem iszom többé a szőlőtőnek gyümölcséből mind ama napig, a mikor mint újat iszom azt az Isten országában.

Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

Adevărat vă spun că, de acum încolo, nu voi mai bea din rodul viţei, până în ziua când îl voi bea nou în Împărăţia lui Dumnezeu.”

Truly, I say to you, I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.”

Dicséretet énekeltek, majd kimentek az Olajfák hegyére.

És dicséretet énekelve kimenének az olajfák hegyére.

And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

După ce au cântat cântările de laudă, au ieşit în Muntele Măslinilor.

And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

Azt mondta nekik Jézus: Ezen az éjszakán mindnyájan megbotránkoztok bennem, mert meg van írva: Megverem a pásztort, és elszélednek a juhok.

És monda nékik Jézus: Ezen az éjszakán mindnyájan megbotránkoztok bennem; mert meg van írva: Megverem a pásztort, és elszélednek a juhok.

And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.

Isus le-a zis: „În noaptea aceasta toţi veţi avea un prilej de poticnire; pentru că este scris: „Voi bate Păstorul, şi oile vor fi risipite.”

And Jesus said to them, “You will all fall away, for it is written, ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’

De feltámadásom után előttetek megyek majd Galileába.

De feltámadásom után előttetek fogok felmenni Galileába.

But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee.

Dar, după ce voi învia, voi merge înaintea voastră în Galileea.”

But after I am raised up, I will go before you to Galilee.”

Péter pedig azt mondta neki: Ha mindnyájan megbotránkoznak is, én nem!

Péter pedig monda néki: Ha mindnyájan megbotránkoznak is, de én nem.

But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet will not I.

Petru I-a zis: „Chiar dacă toţi ar avea un prilej de poticnire, eu nu voi avea.”

Peter said to him, “Even though they all fall away, I will not.”

Jézus erre így felelt: Bizony mondom neked, hogy még ma, ezen az éjszakán, mielőtt a kakas kétszer szólna, háromszor tagadsz meg engem.

És monda néki Jézus: Bizony mondom néked, hogy ma, ezen az éjszakán, mielőtt a kakas kétszer szólana, háromszor tagadsz meg engem.

And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.

Şi Isus i-a zis: „Adevărat îţi spun că astăzi, chiar în noaptea aceasta, înainte ca să cânte cocoşul de două ori, te vei lepăda de Mine de trei ori.”

And Jesus said to him, “Truly, I tell you, this very night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.”

Ő azonban annál inkább erősködött: Ha veled együtt meg kellene halnom is, akkor sem tagadlak meg. És ugyanígy beszéltek a többiek is.

Ő pedig annál inkább erősíti vala: Ha veled együtt kell is meghalnom, semmiképen meg nem tagadlak téged. Hasonlóképen szólanak vala a többiek is.

But he spake the more vehemently, If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all.

Dar Petru I-a zis cu şi mai multă tărie: „Chiar dacă ar trebui să mor împreună cu Tine, tot nu mă voi lepăda de Tine.” Şi toţi ceilalţi au spus acelaşi lucru.

But he said emphatically, “If I must die with you, I will not deny you.” And they all said the same.

Amikor megérkeztek arra a helyre, amelynek Gecsemáné a neve, azt mondta a tanítványainak: Üljetek le itt, amíg imádkozom.

És menének ama helyre, a melynek Gecsemáné a neve; és monda az ő tanítványainak: Üljetek le itt, a míg imádkozom.

And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray.

S-au dus apoi într-un loc îngrădit, numit Ghetsimani. Şi Isus a zis ucenicilor Săi: „Şedeţi aici până Mă voi ruga.”

And they went to a place called Gethsemane. And he said to his disciples, “Sit here while I pray.”

Maga mellé vette Pétert, Jakabot és Jánost, és kezdett rettegni és gyötrődni,

És maga mellé vevé Pétert és Jakabot és Jánost, és kezde rettegni és gyötrődni;

And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;

A luat cu El pe Petru, pe Iacov şi pe Ioan şi a început să Se înspăimânte şi să Se mâhnească foarte tare.

And he took with him Peter and James and John, and began to be greatly distressed and troubled.

majd így szólt hozzájuk: Szomorú az én lelkem mindhalálig. Maradjatok itt, és virrasszatok!

És monda nékik: Szomorú az én lelkem mind halálig; maradjatok itt, és vigyázzatok.

And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.

El le-a zis: „Sufletul Meu este cuprins de o întristare de moarte; rămâneţi aici şi vegheaţi!”

And he said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death. Remain here and watch.”

És kissé előbbre ment, földre borult, és imádkozott, hogy ha lehetséges, múljék el tőle ez az óra.

És egy kevéssé előre menvén, a földre esék, és imádkozék, hogy, ha lehetséges, múljék el tőle ez az óra;

And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.

Apoi a mers puţin mai înainte, S-a aruncat la pământ şi Se ruga ca, dacă este cu putinţă, să treacă de la El ceasul acela.

And going a little farther, he fell on the ground and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.

És azt mondta: Abbá, Atyám! Neked minden lehetséges. Vedd el tőlem ezt a poharat, mindazáltal ne az én akaratom legyen meg, hanem a tied.

És monda: Abba, Atyám! Minden lehetséges néked. Vidd el tőlem ezt a poharat; mindazáltal ne az én akaratom [legyen meg,] hanem a tied.

And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

El zicea: „Ava – adică: Tată – Ţie toate lucrurile Îţi sunt cu putinţă; depărtează de la Mine paharul acesta! Totuşi, facă-se nu ce voiesc Eu, ci ce voieşti Tu.”

And he said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”

Visszatérve alva találta őket, és azt mondta Péternek: Simon, alszol? Nem tudtál egy órát sem vigyázni?

Azután visszatére és aluva találá őket, és monda Péternek: Simon, alszol? Nem bírtál egy óráig vigyázni?

And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?

Şi a venit la ucenici, pe care i-a găsit dormind. Şi a zis lui Petru: „Simone, tu dormi? Un ceas n-ai fost în stare să veghezi?

And he came and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, “Simon, are you asleep? Could you not watch one hour?

Vigyázzatok, és imádkozzatok, hogy kísértésbe ne essetek, mert a lélek ugyan kész, de a test erőtlen.

Vigyázzatok és imádkozzatok, hogy kísértetbe ne jussatok; a lélek ugyan kész, de a test erőtelen.

Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.

Vegheaţi şi rugaţi-vă, ca să nu cădeţi în ispită; duhul este plin de râvnă, dar trupul este neputincios.”

Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Ismét elment, és ugyanazokkal a szavakkal imádkozott.

És ismét elmenvén, imádkozék, ugyanazon szavakkal szólván.

And again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same words.

S-a dus iarăşi şi S-a rugat, zicând aceleaşi cuvinte.

And again he went away and prayed, saying the same words.

Amikor visszatért, ismét alva találta őket, mert szemük megnehezedett, és nem tudták, mit feleljenek neki.

A mikor pedig visszatére, ismét aluva találá őket; mert a szemeik megnehezedtek vala, és nem tudták mit feleljenek néki.

And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,) neither wist they what to answer him.

Apoi S-a întors din nou şi i-a găsit dormind; pentru că li se îngreuiaseră ochii de somn. Ei nu ştiau ce să-I răspundă.

And again he came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were very heavy, and they did not know what to answer him.

Amikor harmadszor jött vissza, azt mondta nekik: Most már aludjatok és nyugodjatok. Elég! Eljött az óra, íme, az Emberfia a bűnösök kezébe adatik.

Harmadszor is jöve, és monda nékik: Aludjatok immár és nyugodjatok. Elég; eljött az óra; ímé az embernek Fia a bűnösök kezébe adatik.

And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

And he came the third time and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and taking your rest? It is enough; the hour has come. The Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

És miközben beszélt, váratlanul megjelent Júdás, egy a tizenkettő közül, és vele együtt fegyverekkel és botokkal felfegyverzett sokaság a főpapoktól, az írástudóktól és a vénektől.

És mindjárt még mikor ő szól vala, eljöve Júdás, egy a tizenkettő közül, és vele együtt nagy sokaság, fegyverekkel és botokkal, a főpapoktól, az írástudóktól és a vénektől.

And immediately, while he yet spake, cometh Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.

Şi îndată, pe când vorbea El încă, a venit Iuda, unul din cei doisprezece, şi împreună cu el a venit o mulţime de oameni cu săbii şi cu ciomege, trimişi de preoţii cei mai de seamă, de cărturari şi de bătrâni.

And immediately, while he was still speaking, Judas came, one of the twelve, and with him a crowd with swords and clubs, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.

Árulója pedig jelt adott nekik, mondva: Akit megcsókolok majd, ő az, fogjátok meg, és vezessétek el biztos őrizet alatt!

Az ő elárulója pedig jelt ada nékik, mondván: A kit megcsókolok majd, ő az; fogjátok meg azt, és vigyétek el biztonsággal.

And he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he; take him, and lead him away safely.

Vânzătorul le dăduse semnul acesta: „Pe care-L voi săruta, Acela este; să-L prindeţi şi să-L duceţi sub pază.”

Now the betrayer had given them a sign, saying, “The one I will kiss is the man. Seize him and lead him away under guard.”

Ahogy odaért, egyenesen hozzá ment, és megszólította: Mester! – és megcsókolta őt.

És odajutván, azonnal hozzáméne, és monda: Mester! Mester! és megcsókolá őt.

And as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway to him, and saith, Master, master; and kissed him.

Când a venit Iuda, s-a apropiat îndată de Isus şi I-a zis: „Învăţătorule!” Şi L-a sărutat mult.

And when he came, he went up to him at once and said, “Rabbi!” And he kissed him.

Azok pedig rávetették kezüket, és megfogták őt.

And they laid their hands on him, and took him.

And they laid hands on him and seized him.

De az ott állók egyike kirántotta a kardját, odacsapott a főpap szolgájára, és levágta a fülét.

De egy az ott állók közül az ő szablyáját kivonván, a főpap szolgájához csapa, és levágá annak fülét.

And one of them that stood by drew a sword, and smote a servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.

Unul din cei ce stăteau lângă El a scos sabia, a lovit pe robul marelui preot şi i-a tăiat urechea.

But one of those who stood by drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his ear.

Jézus pedig megszólalt, és azt mondta nekik: Mint egy rablóra, úgy jöttetek rám fegyverekkel és botokkal, hogy megfogjatok engem.

Jézus pedig felelvén, monda nékik: Mint egy rablóra, úgy jöttetek-é reám fegyverekkel és botokkal, hogy megfogjatok engem?!

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and with staves to take me?

Isus a luat cuvântul şi le-a zis: „Aţi ieşit ca după un tâlhar, cu săbii şi cu ciomege, ca să Mă prindeţi.

And Jesus said to them, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs to capture me?

Naponta veletek voltam, a templomban tanítottam, és nem fogtatok el engem, de az Írásoknak be kell teljesedniük.

Naponta nálatok valék, a templomban tanítva, és nem fogtatok meg engem; de [szükség,] hogy az írások beteljesedjenek.

I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled.

În toate zilele am fost la voi şi învăţam pe oameni în Templu, şi nu M-aţi prins. Dar toate aceste lucruri s-au întâmplat ca să se împlinească Scripturile.”

Day after day I was with you in the temple teaching, and you did not seize me. But let the Scriptures be fulfilled.”

Akkor mindnyájan elhagyták őt, és elfutottak.

And they all forsook him, and fled.

And they all left him and fled.

Csak egy ifjú követte, akinek csupasz testét csak egy gyolcsing borította. Megragadták,

And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and the young men laid hold on him:

And a young man followed him, with nothing but a linen cloth about his body. And they seized him,

And he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked.

Jézust pedig elvezették a főpaphoz, ahova összegyűlt valamennyi főpap, vén és írástudó.

És vivék Jézust a főpaphoz. És oda gyűlének mindnyájan a főpapok, a vének és az írástudók.

And they led Jesus away to the high priest: and with him were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes.

Pe Isus L-au dus la marele preot, unde s-au adunat toţi preoţii cei mai de seamă, bătrânii şi cărturarii.

And they led Jesus to the high priest. And all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes came together.

Péter távolról követte őt, be egészen a főpap udvaráig, ott leült a szolgákkal, és melegedett a tűznél.

And Peter followed him afar off, even into the palace of the high priest: and he sat with the servants, and warmed himself at the fire.

And Peter had followed him at a distance, right into the courtyard of the high priest. And he was sitting with the guards and warming himself at the fire.

A főpapok pedig és az egész nagytanács bizonyítékokat kerestek Jézus ellen, hogy halálra ítélhessék, de nem találtak.

A főpapok pedig és az egész tanács bizonyságot keresnek vala Jézus ellen, hogy megölhessék őt; de nem találnak vala.

And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found none.

Preoţii cei mai de seamă şi tot soborul căutau vreo mărturie împotriva lui Isus, ca să-L omoare; dar nu găseau niciuna.

Now the chief priests and the whole council were seeking testimony against Jesus to put him to death, but they found none.

Mert sokan tettek ugyan hamis tanúvallomást ellene, de a vallomások nem egyeztek.

Mert sokan tesznek vala [ugyan] hamis tanúbizonyságot ellene, de a bizonyságtételek nem valának megegyezők.

For many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together.

Pentru că mulţi făceau mărturisiri mincinoase împotriva Lui, dar mărturisirile lor nu se potriveau.

For many bore false witness against him, but their testimony did not agree.

Néhányan ezzel a hamis vallomással álltak elő:

És némelyek fölkelének és hamis tanúbizonyságot tőnek ellene, mondván:

And there arose certain, and bare false witness against him, saying,

Unii s-au sculat şi au făcut o mărturisire mincinoasă împotriva Lui şi au zis:

And some stood up and bore false witness against him, saying,

Mi hallottuk, amikor azt mondta, hogy én lerontom ezt a kézzel csinált templomot, és három nap alatt másikat építek, amelyet nem emberi kéz alkotott.

Mi hallottuk, mikor ezt mondá: Én lerontom ezt a kézzel csinált templomot, és három nap alatt mást építek, a mely nem kézzel csináltatott.

We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.

„Noi L-am auzit zicând: „Eu voi strica Templul acesta, făcut de mâini omeneşti, şi în trei zile voi ridica un altul, care nu va fi făcut de mâini omeneşti.”

“We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another, not made with hands.’”

De még így sem egyezett a vallomásuk.

De még így sem vala egyező az ő bizonyságtételük.

But neither so did their witness agree together.

Nici chiar în privinţa aceasta nu se potrivea mărturisirea lor.

Yet even about this their testimony did not agree.

Akkor a főpap középre állt, és megkérdezte Jézust: Semmit sem felelsz arra, amit ezek ellened vallanak?

Akkor a főpap odaállván a középre, megkérdé Jézust, mondván: Semmit sem felelsz-é? Miféle bizonyságot tesznek ezek te ellened?

And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?

Atunci marele preot s-a sculat în picioare în mijlocul adunării, a întrebat pe Isus şi I-a zis: „Nu răspunzi nimic? Ce mărturisesc oamenii aceştia împotriva Ta?”

And the high priest stood up in the midst and asked Jesus, “Have you no answer to make? What is it that these men testify against you?”

Ő pedig hallgatott, és semmit sem felelt. Ismét megkérdezte a főpap, és azt mondta neki: Te vagy-e a Krisztus, az áldott Isten Fia?

Ő pedig hallgat vala, és semmit sem felele. Ismét megkérdezé őt a főpap, és monda néki: Te vagy-é a Krisztus, az áldott [Isten] Fia?

But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?

Isus tăcea şi nu răspundea nimic. Marele preot L-a întrebat iarăşi şi I-a zis: „Eşti Tu, Hristosul, Fiul Celui binecuvântat?”

But he remained silent and made no answer. Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?”

Én vagyok – mondta Jézus –, és meglátjátok majd az Emberfiát a Hatalmas jobbján ülni, amikor eljön az ég felhőiben.

Jézus pedig monda: Én vagyok. És meglátjátok majd az embernek Fiát ülni a hatalomnak jobbján, és eljőni az ég felhőivel.

And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

„Da, sunt”, i-a răspuns Isus. „Şi veţi vedea pe Fiul omului şezând la dreapta puterii şi venind pe norii cerului.”

And Jesus said, “I am, and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.”

Ekkor a főpap megszaggatta ruháját, és azt mondta: Mi szükségünk van még tanúkra?

A főpap pedig megszaggatván ruháit, monda: Mi szükségünk van még tanúkra?

Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses?

Atunci marele preot şi-a rupt hainele şi a zis: „Ce nevoie mai avem de martori?

And the high priest tore his garments and said, “What further witnesses do we need?

Hallottátok az istenkáromlást. Mi a véleményetek? Azok pedig mindnyájan úgy ítélték meg, hogy méltó a halálra.

Hallátok a káromlást. Mi tetszik néktek? Azok pedig halálra méltónak ítélték őt mindnyájan.

Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.

Aţi auzit hula. Ce vi se pare?” Toţi L-au osândit să fie pedepsit cu moartea.

You have heard his blasphemy. What is your decision?” And they all condemned him as deserving death.

Ekkor némelyek köpdösni kezdték, majd betakarták az arcát, úgy ütlegelték, és azt mondták neki: Prófétálj! És a szolgák is arcul csapdosták.

És kezdék őt némelyek köpdösni, és az ő orczáját elfedni, és őt öklözni, és mondani néki: Prófétálj! A szolgák pedig arczul csapdossák vala őt.

And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands.

Şi unii au început să-L scuipe, să-I acopere faţa, să-L bată cu pumnii şi să-I zică: „Proroceşte!” Iar aprozii L-au primit în palme.

And some began to spit on him and to cover his face and to strike him, saying to him, “Prophesy!” And the guards received him with blows.

Amikor Péter lenn volt az udvarban, arra járt a főpap egyik szolgálója,

A mint pedig Péter lent vala az udvarban, odajöve egy a főpap szolgálói közül;

And as Peter was beneath in the palace, there cometh one of the maids of the high priest:

Pe când stătea Petru jos în curte, a venit una din slujnicele marelui preot.

And as Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the servant girls of the high priest came,

és ahogy meglátta Pétert, amint melegedett, rátekintett, és azt mondta: Te is a názáreti Jézussal voltál!

És meglátván Pétert, a mint melegszik vala, rátekintvén, monda: Te is a Názáreti Jézussal valál!

And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked upon him, and said, And thou also wast with Jesus of Nazareth.

Când a văzut pe Petru încălzindu-se, s-a uitat ţintă la el şi i-a zis: „Şi tu erai cu Isus din Nazaret!”

and seeing Peter warming himself, she looked at him and said, “You also were with the Nazarene, Jesus.”

Ő pedig tagadott, és azt mondta: Nem ismerem, nem is értem, mit beszélsz! És kiment az előcsarnokba. A kakas pedig megszólalt.

Ő pedig megtagadá, mondván: Nem ismerem, s nem is értem, mit mondasz. És kiméne a tornáczra; és a kakas megszólala.

But he denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what thou sayest. And he went out into the porch; and the cock crew.

El s-a lepădat şi a zis: „Nu ştiu, nici nu înţeleg ce vrei să zici.” Apoi a ieşit în pridvor. Şi a cântat cocoşul.

But he denied it, saying, “I neither know nor understand what you mean.” And he went out into the gateway and the rooster crowed.

Amint a szolgáló meglátta, ismét mondogatni kezdte az ott állóknak: Ez közülük való.

A szolgáló pedig meglátva őt, kezdé ismét mondani az ott állóknak: Ez közülök való.

And a maid saw him again, and began to say to them that stood by, This is one of them.

Când l-a văzut slujnica, a început iarăşi să spună celor ce stăteau acolo: „Acesta este unul dintre oamenii aceia.”

And the servant girl saw him and began again to say to the bystanders, “This man is one of them.”

De ő ismét tagadta. Nem sokkal később az ott állók ismét azt mondták Péternek: De bizony közülük való vagy, hiszen galileai vagy te is, a beszéded is elárul téged!

Ő pedig ismét megtagadá. De kevés idő múlva az ott állók ismét mondják vala Péternek: Bizony közülök való vagy; mert Galileabeli is vagy, és a beszéded [is] hasonló.

And he denied it again. And a little after, they that stood by said again to Peter, Surely thou art one of them: for thou art a Galilaean, and thy speech agreeth thereto.

Şi el s-a lepădat din nou. După puţină vreme, cei ce stăteau acolo, au zis iarăşi lui Petru: „Nu mai încape îndoială că eşti unul din oamenii aceia; căci eşti galileean, şi graiul tău seamănă cu al lor.”

But again he denied it. And after a little while the bystanders again said to Peter, “Certainly you are one of them, for you are a Galilean.”

Ő pedig átkozódni és esküdözni kezdett: Nem ismerem azt az embert, akiről beszéltek!

Ő pedig kezde átkozódni és esküdözni, hogy: Nem ismerem azt az embert, a kiről beszéltek.

But he began to curse and to swear, saying, I know not this man of whom ye speak.

Atunci el a început să se blesteme şi să se jure: „Nu cunosc pe Omul acesta despre care vorbiţi!”

But he began to invoke a curse on himself and to swear, “I do not know this man of whom you speak.”

És a kakas azonnal megszólalt másodszor is. Ekkor Péternek eszébe jutott, amit Jézus mondott neki: Mielőtt a kakas kétszer szólna, háromszor megtagadsz engem. És keserves sírásra fakadt.

És másodszor szóla a kakas. És Péternek eszébe juta a beszéd, a melyet néki Jézus mondott vala, hogy mielőtt a kakas kétszer szólana, háromszor megtagadsz engem. És sírva fakada.

And the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept.

Îndată a cântat cocoşul a doua oară. Şi Petru şi-a adus aminte de vorba pe care i-o spusese Isus: „Înainte ca să cânte cocoşul de două ori, te vei lepăda de Mine de trei ori.” Şi gândindu-se la acest lucru, a început să plângă.

And immediately the rooster crowed a second time. And Peter remembered how Jesus had said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.” And he broke down and wept.
