Azokban a napokban ismét igen nagy volt a sokaság, és mivel nem volt mit enniük, magához szólította Jézus a tanítványait, és azt mondta nekik:

In those days the multitude being very great, and having nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples unto him, and saith unto them,

In those days, when again a great crowd had gathered, and they had nothing to eat, he called his disciples to him and said to them,

Szánakozom e sokaságon, mert már három napja velem vannak, és nincs mit enniük.

Szánakozom e sokaságon, mert immár harmad napja hogy velem vannak, és nincs mit enniök;

I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with me three days, and have nothing to eat:

„Mi-e milă de norodul acesta; căci iată că de trei zile stau lângă Mine şi n-au ce mânca.

“I have compassion on the crowd, because they have been with me now three days and have nothing to eat.

És ha éhen bocsátom haza őket, kidőlnek az úton, mert némelyek közülük messziről jöttek.

És ha éhen bocsátom haza őket, kidőlnek az úton; mert némelyek ő közülök messzünnen jöttek.

And if I send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint by the way: for divers of them came from far.

Dacă le voi da drumul acasă flămânzi, au să leşine de foame pe drum, fiindcă unii din ei au venit de departe.”

And if I send them away hungry to their homes, they will faint on the way. And some of them have come from far away.”

Tanítványai pedig így feleltek: Honnan elégíthetné meg ezeket valaki kenyérrel itt a pusztában?

Az ő tanítványai pedig felelének néki: Honnan elégíthetné meg ezeket valaki kenyérrel itt e pusztában?

And his disciples answered him, From whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness?

Ucenicii I-au răspuns: „Cum ar putea cineva să sature cu pâine pe oamenii aceştia, aici într-un loc pustiu?”

And his disciples answered him, “How can one feed these people with bread here in this desolate place?”

És Jézus megkérdezte tőlük: Hány kenyeretek van? Azok pedig azt mondták: Hét.

És megkérdé őket: Hány kenyeretek van? Azok pedig mondának: Hét.

And he asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven.

„Câte pâini aveţi?”, i-a întrebat Isus. „Şapte”, I-au răspuns ei.

And he asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, “Seven.”

Akkor megparancsolta a sokaságnak, hogy telepedjenek le a földre, majd vette a hét kenyeret, hálát adott, megtörte, és a tanítványainak adta, hogy osszák szét. Ők a sokaság elé tették.

Akkor megparancsolá a sokaságnak, hogy telepedjenek le a földre. És vevén a hét kenyeret, és hálákat adván, megszegé, és adá az ő tanítványainak, hogy eléjök tegyék. És a sokaság elé tevék.

And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people.

Atunci a poruncit norodului să şadă pe pământ; a luat cele şapte pâini; şi, după ce a mulţumit lui Dumnezeu, le-a frânt şi le-a dat ucenicilor Săi ca să le împartă; şi ei le-au împărţit norodului.

And he directed the crowd to sit down on the ground. And he took the seven loaves, and having given thanks, he broke them and gave them to his disciples to set before the people; and they set them before the crowd.

And they had a few small fishes: and he blessed, and commanded to set them also before them.

Mai aveau şi câţiva peştişori: şi Isus, după ce i-a binecuvântat, a poruncit să-i împartă şi pe aceia.

And they had a few small fish. And having blessed them, he said that these also should be set before them.

Ettek és jóllaktak, majd fölszedték a maradék darabokat, hét kosárral,

Evének azért, és megelégedének; és fölszedék a maradék darabokat, hét kosárral.

So they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets.

Au mâncat şi s-au săturat; şi au ridicat şapte coşniţe pline cu rămăşiţele de firimituri.

And they ate and were satisfied. And they took up the broken pieces left over, seven baskets full.

pedig mintegy négyezren lehettek. Ezek után elbocsátotta őket,

Valának pedig a kik ettek mintegy négyezeren; és elbocsátá őket.

And they that had eaten were about four thousand: and he sent them away.

And there were about four thousand people. And he sent them away.

és azonnal hajóba szállt tanítványaival, és Dalmanuta vidékére ment.

And straightway he entered into a ship with his disciples, and came into the parts of Dalmanutha.

And immediately he got into the boat with his disciples and went to the district of Dalmanutha.

Kijöttek hozzá a farizeusok is, és vitatkozni kezdtek vele mennyei jelt követelve, hogy próbára tegyék.

És kijövének a farizeusok, és kezdék őt faggatni, mennyei jelt kívánván tőle, hogy kísértsék őt.

And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, seeking of him a sign from heaven, tempting him.

Fariseii au venit deodată şi au început o ceartă de vorbe cu Isus; şi, ca să-L pună la încercare, I-au cerut un semn din cer.

The Pharisees came and began to argue with him, seeking from him a sign from heaven to test him.

Ő pedig lelke mélyéből felsóhajtva így szólt: Miért kíván jelt ez a nemzedék? Bizony mondom nektek, nem adatik jel ennek a nemzedéknek.

Ő pedig lelkében felfohászkodván, monda: Miért kíván jelt ez a nemzetség? Bizony mondom néktek: Nem adatik jel ennek a nemzetségnek.

And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.

Isus a suspinat adânc în duhul Său şi a zis: „Pentru ce cere neamul acesta un semn? Adevărat vă spun că neamului acestuia nu i se va da deloc un semn.”

And he sighed deeply in his spirit and said, “Why does this generation seek a sign? Truly, I say to you, no sign will be given to this generation.”

Ezzel otthagyta őket, ismét hajóba szállt, és a túlsó partra ment.

És ott hagyván őket, ismét hajóba szálla, és a túlsó partra méne.

And he left them, and entering into the ship again departed to the other side.

Apoi i-a lăsat şi a intrat iarăşi în corabie, ca să treacă de cealaltă parte.

And he left them, got into the boat again, and went to the other side.

De elfelejtettek kenyeret vinni, csak egy kenyér volt velük a hajóban.

De elfelejtének kenyeret vinni, és egy kenyérnél nem vala velök több a hajóban.

Now the disciples had forgotten to take bread, neither had they in the ship with them more than one loaf.

Ucenicii uitaseră să ia pâini; cu ei în corabie n-aveau decât o pâine.

Now they had forgotten to bring bread, and they had only one loaf with them in the boat.

Ő pedig arra intette őket: Vigyázzatok, őrizkedjetek a farizeusok kovászától és a Heródes kovászától!

És ő inti vala őket, mondván: Vigyázzatok, őrizkedjetek a farizeusok kovászától és a Heródes kovászától!

And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.

Isus le dădea în grijă şi le zicea: „Luaţi seama, să vă păziţi bine de aluatul fariseilor şi de aluatul lui Irod!”

And he cautioned them, saying, “Watch out; beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.”

Mire ők egymás között azon tanakodtak, hogy nincs kenyerük.

Ekkor egymás között tanakodván, mondának: Nincs kenyerünk.

And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have no bread.

Ucenicii se gândeau şi ziceau între ei: „Fiindcă n-avem pâini.”

And they began discussing with one another the fact that they had no bread.

Jézus észrevette ezt, és azt mondta nekik: Mit tanakodtok, hogy nincsen kenyeretek? Még mindig nem fogtátok fel és nem értitek? Még mindig kemény a szívetek?

Jézus pedig észrevévén ezt, monda nékik: Mit tanakodtok, hogy nincsen kenyeretek? Még sem látjátok-é be és nem értitek-é? Mégis kemény-é a szívetek?

And when Jesus knew it, he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?

Isus a înţeles lucrul acesta şi le-a zis: „Pentru ce vă gândiţi că n-aveţi pâini? Tot nu pricepeţi şi tot nu înţelegeţi? Aveţi inima împietrită?

And Jesus, aware of this, said to them, “Why are you discussing the fact that you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive or understand? Are your hearts hardened?

Van szemetek, és mégsem láttok? Van fületek, és mégsem hallotok? És nem is emlékeztek?

Szemeitek lévén, nem láttok-é? és füleitek lévén, nem hallotok-é? és nem emlékeztek-é?

Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?

Aveţi ochi, şi nu vedeţi? Aveţi urechi, şi nu auziţi? Şi nu vă aduceţi aminte deloc?

Having eyes do you not see, and having ears do you not hear? And do you not remember?

Amikor az öt kenyeret megtörtem az ötezernek, hány kosarat töltöttetek meg a maradék darabokkal? Ők így feleltek: Tizenkettőt.

Mikor az öt kenyeret megszegtem az ötezernek, hány kosarat hoztatok el darabokkal tele? Mondának néki: Tizenkettőt.

When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? They say unto him, Twelve.

Când am frânt cele cinci pâini la cei cinci mii de bărbaţi, câte coşuri pline cu firimituri aţi ridicat?” „Douăsprezece”, I-au răspuns ei.

When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” They said to him, “Twelve.”

Amikor pedig a hetet a négyezernek, hány kosarat szedtetek tele maradékokkal? Azok pedig azt mondták: Hetet.

Mikor pedig a hetet a négyezernek, hány kosarat hoztatok el darabokkal tele? Azok pedig mondának: Hetet.

And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said, Seven.

„Şi, când am frânt cele şapte pâini la cei patru mii de bărbaţi, câte coşniţe pline cu firimituri aţi ridicat?” „Şapte”, I-au răspuns ei.

“And the seven for the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” And they said to him, “Seven.”

Akkor azt mondta: Még mindig nem értitek?

És monda nékik: Hogy nem értitek hát?

And he said unto them, How is it that ye do not understand?

Şi El le-a zis: „Tot nu înţelegeţi?”

And he said to them, “Do you not yet understand?”

Azután Bétsaidába érkeztek, ahol egy vakot vittek hozzá, és arra kérték, hogy érintse meg.

Azután Bethsaidába méne; és egy vakot vivének hozzá és kérik vala őt, hogy illesse azt.

And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.

Au venit la Betsaida; au adus la Isus un orb şi L-au rugat să Se atingă de el.

And they came to Bethsaida. And some people brought to him a blind man and begged him to touch him.

Ő pedig megfogta a vak kezét, kivezette a falun kívülre, majd megnyálazva szemét, rátette a kezét, és megkérdezte: Látsz-e valamit?

Ő pedig megfogván a vaknak kezét, kivezeté őt a falun kívül; és a szemeibe köpvén és kezeit reá tévén, megkérdé őt, ha lát-é valamit?

And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.

Isus a luat pe orb de mână şi l-a scos afară din sat; apoi i-a pus scuipat pe ochi, Şi-a pus mâinile peste el şi l-a întrebat: „Vezi ceva?”

And he took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village, and when he had spit on his eyes and laid his hands on him, he asked him, “Do you see anything?”

Az pedig föltekintve így válaszolt: Látom az embereket, mint valami járkáló fákat.

Az pedig föltekintvén, monda: Látom az embereket, mint valami járkáló fákat.

And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.

El s-a uitat şi a zis: „Văd nişte oameni umblând, dar mi se par ca nişte copaci.”

And he looked up and said, “I see people, but they look like trees, walking.”

Azután ismét rátette a kezét annak szemére, és amikor az feltekintett, meggyógyult, és messzire is tisztán látott mindent.

Azután kezeit ismét ráveté annak szemeire, és feltekintete véle. És megépüle, és látá messze és világosan mindent.

After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.

Isus i-a pus din nou mâinile pe ochi; i-a spus să se uite ţintă; şi, când s-a uitat, a fost tămăduit şi a văzut toate lucrurile desluşit.

Then Jesus laid his hands on his eyes again; and he opened his eyes, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.

Akkor hazaküldte, és azt mondta: Még a faluba se menj be, hogy valakinek is elmondjad!

És haza küldé, mondván: Se a faluba be ne menj, se senkinek el ne mondd a faluban.

And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town.

Atunci Isus l-a trimis acasă şi i-a zis: „Să nu intri în sat şi nici să nu spui cuiva în sat.”

And he sent him to his home, saying, “Do not even enter the village.”

Jézus tanítványaival együtt elment Cézárea Filippi falvaiba. Útközben azt kérdezte tanítványaitól: Kinek mondanak engem az emberek?

És elméne Jézus és az ő tanítványai Czézárea Filippi falvaiba; és útközben megkérdé az ő tanítványait, mondván nékik: Kinek mondanak engem az emberek?

And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?

Isus a plecat cu ucenicii Săi în satele Cezareii lui Filip. Pe drum le-a pus următoarea întrebare: „Cine zic oamenii că sunt Eu?”

And Jesus went on with his disciples to the villages of Caesarea Philippi. And on the way he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that I am?”

Ők pedig így feleltek: Egyesek Keresztelő Jánosnak, mások Illésnek, némelyek pedig egynek a próféták közül.

Ők pedig felelének: Keresztelő Jánosnak; és némelyek Illésnek; némelyek pedig egynek a próféták közül.

And they answered, John the Baptist; but some say, Elias; and others, One of the prophets.

Ei I-au răspuns: „Ioan Botezătorul; alţii: Ilie; alţii: unul din proroci.”

And they told him, “John the Baptist; and others say, Elijah; and others, one of the prophets.”

De ő tovább kérdezett: És ti kinek mondotok engem? Erre Péter így válaszolt: Te vagy a Krisztus.

És ő monda nékik: Ti pedig kinek mondotok engem? Felelvén pedig Péter, monda néki: Te vagy a Krisztus.

And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ.

„Dar voi”, i-a întrebat El, „cine ziceţi că sunt Eu?” „Tu eşti Hristosul!”, I-a răspuns Petru.

And he asked them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered him, “You are the Christ.”

És rájuk parancsolt, hogy senkinek se mondják ezt el róla.

És rájok parancsola, hogy senkinek se szóljanak felőle.

And he charged them that they should tell no man of him.

Isus le-a poruncit cu tărie să nu spună nimănui lucrul acesta despre El.

And he strictly charged them to tell no one about him.

És kezdte őket tanítani, hogy az Emberfiának sokat kell szenvednie és megvettetnie a vénektől, a főpapoktól és írástudóktól, és meg kell öletnie, de harmadnapra feltámad.

És kezdé őket tanítani, hogy az ember Fiának sokat kell szenvedni, és megvettetni a vénektől és a főpapoktól és írástudóktól, és megöletni, és harmadnapra feltámadni.

And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

Atunci a început să-i înveţe că Fiul omului trebuie să pătimească mult, să fie tăgăduit de bătrâni, de preoţii cei mai de seamă şi de cărturari, să fie omorât, şi după trei zile să învie.

And he began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes and be killed, and after three days rise again.

Erről nyíltan szólt. Ekkor Péter magához vonta őt, és dorgálni kezdte.

És ezt nyilván mondja vala. Péter pedig magához vonván őt, kezdé dorgálni.

And he spake that saying openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him.

Le spunea lucrurile acestea pe faţă. Petru însă L-a luat deoparte şi a început să-L mustre.

And he said this plainly. And Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him.

Ő azonban megfordult, a tanítványaira tekintett, és megdorgálta Pétert ezekkel a szavakkal: Távozz tőlem, Sátán, mert nem gondolsz az Isten dolgaira, hanem az emberi dolgokra!

És ő megfordulván és az ő tanítványaira tekintvén, megfeddé Pétert, mondván: Távozz tőlem Sátán, mert nem gondolsz az Isten dolgaira, hanem az emberi dolgokra.

But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

Dar Isus S-a întors şi S-a uitat la ucenicii Săi, a mustrat pe Petru şi i-a zis: „Înapoia Mea, Satano! Fiindcă tu nu te gândeşti la lucrurile lui Dumnezeu, ci la lucrurile oamenilor.”

But turning and seeing his disciples, he rebuked Peter and said, “Get behind me, Satan! For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.”

A sokaságot pedig tanítványaival együtt magához szólította, és azt mondta nekik: Ha valaki utánam akar jönni, tagadja meg magát, vegye fel a keresztjét, és kövessen engem.

A sokaságot pedig az ő tanítványaival együtt magához szólítván, monda nékik: Ha valaki én utánam akar jőni, tagadja meg magát, és vegye fel az ő keresztjét, és kövessen engem.

And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Apoi a chemat la El norodul împreună cu ucenicii Săi şi le-a zis: „Dacă voieşte cineva să vină după Mine, să se lepede de sine însuşi, să-şi ia crucea şi să Mă urmeze.

And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.

Mert aki meg akarja tartani az életét, elveszti azt, aki pedig elveszti az életét érettem és az evangéliumért, megtartja azt.

Mert valaki meg akarja tartani az ő életét, elveszti azt; valaki pedig elveszti az ő életét én érettem és az evangyéliomért, az megtalálja azt.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

Căci oricine va vrea să-şi scape viaţa, o va pierde; dar oricine îşi va pierde viaţa din pricina Mea şi din pricina Evangheliei, o va mântui.

For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s will save it.

Mert mit használ az embernek, ha az egész világot megnyeri, lelkében pedig kárt vall?

Mert mit használ az embernek, ha az egész világot megnyeri, lelkében pedig kárt vall?

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Şi ce foloseşte unui om să câştige toată lumea, dacă îşi pierde sufletul?

For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?

Mert mit adhat az ember váltságul az ő életéért?

Avagy mit adhat az ember váltságul az ő lelkéért?

Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Sau ce va da un om în schimb pentru sufletul său?

For what can a man give in return for his soul?

Mert ha valaki szégyell engem és az én beszédeimet e parázna és bűnös nemzedék előtt, az Emberfia is szégyellni fogja azt, amikor eljön az ő Atyja dicsőségében a szent angyalokkal.

Mert valaki szégyel engem és az én beszédeimet e parázna és bűnös nemzetség között, az embernek Fia is szégyelni fogja azt, mikor eljő az ő Atyja dicsőségében a szent angyalokkal.

Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

Pentru că de oricine se va ruşina de Mine şi de cuvintele Mele, în acest neam preacurvar şi păcătos, Se va ruşina şi Fiul omului, când va veni în slava Tatălui Său împreună cu sfinţii îngeri.”

For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”
