Eszetekbe juttatom, testvéreim, az evangéliumot, amelyet hirdettem nektek, amelyet be is fogadtatok, melyben álltok is,

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

Vă fac cunoscut, fraţilor, Evanghelia pe care v-am propovăduit-o, pe care aţi primit-o, în care aţi rămas

Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand,

amely által üdvözültök is, ha megtartjátok úgy, amint hirdettem nektek, hacsak nem hiába lettetek hívőkké.

A mely által üdvözültök is, ha megtartjátok, a minémű beszéddel hirdettem néktek, hacsak nem hiába lettetek hívőkké.

By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

şi prin care sunteţi mântuiţi, dacă o ţineţi aşa după cum v-am propovăduit-o; altfel, degeaba aţi crezut.

and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.

Mindenekelőtt azt adtam át nektek, amit én is úgy kaptam, hogy Krisztus meghalt a mi bűneinkért az Írások szerint,

Mert azt adtam előtökbe főképen, a mit én is úgy vettem, hogy a Krisztus meghalt a mi bűneinkért az írások szerint;

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

V-am învăţat înainte de toate, aşa cum am primit şi eu: că Hristos a murit pentru păcatele noastre, după Scripturi;

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures,

And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep.

And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

De Isten kegyelme által vagyok, ami vagyok, és a hozzám való kegyelme nem volt hiábavaló, sőt többet munkálkodtam, mint azok mindnyájan, de nem én, hanem az Istennek velem való kegyelme.

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Prin harul lui Dumnezeu sunt ce sunt. Şi harul Lui faţă de mine n-a fost zadarnic; ba încă am lucrat mai mult decât toţi: totuşi nu eu, ci harul lui Dumnezeu care este în mine.

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.

Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.

Ha pedig Krisztusról azt hirdetjük, hogy a halottak közül feltámadt, hogyan mondhatják köztetek néhányan, hogy nincs halottak feltámadása?

Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?

Iar dacă se propovăduieşte că Hristos a înviat din morţi, cum zic unii dintre voi că nu este o înviere a morţilor?

Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?

Mert ha nincs halottak feltámadása, akkor Krisztus sem támadt fel.

But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:

But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised.

Ha pedig Krisztus nem támadt fel, akkor hiábavaló a mi igehirdetésünk, de hiábavaló a ti hitetek is.

And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

Şi, dacă n-a înviat Hristos, atunci propovăduirea noastră este zadarnică, şi zadarnică este şi credinţa voastră.

And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain.

Sőt az Isten hamis tanúinak is bizonyulunk, mivel az Isten ellen tettünk bizonyságot, hogy feltámasztotta Krisztust, akit nem támasztott fel, ha csakugyan nem támadnak fel a halottak.

Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.

We are even found to be misrepresenting God, because we testified about God that he raised Christ, whom he did not raise if it is true that the dead are not raised.

And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins.

Sőt akkor azok is elvesztek, akik Krisztusban aludtak el.

Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.

If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

Dacă numai pentru viaţa aceasta ne-am pus nădejdea în Hristos, atunci suntem cei mai nenorociţi dintre toţi oamenii!

If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied.

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Mindenki a maga rendje szerint. Az első zsenge Krisztus, azután akik a Krisztuséi, az ő eljövetelekor.

But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ.

Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power.

For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

Dumnezeu, în adevăr, „a pus totul sub picioarele Lui”. Dar când zice că totul I-a fost supus, se înţelege că afară de Cel ce I-a supus totul.

For “God has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says, “all things are put in subjection,” it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in subjection under him.

Amikor pedig minden alá vettetett, akkor maga a Fiú is aláveti magát annak, aki neki mindent alávetett, hogy Isten legyen minden mindenben.

And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

Şi când toate lucrurile Îi vor fi supuse, atunci chiar şi Fiul Se va supune Celui ce I-a supus toate lucrurile, pentru ca Dumnezeu să fie totul în toţi.

When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all.

Különben mit tesznek azok, akik a halottakért keresztelkednek meg, ha a halottak nem támadnak fel? Miért is keresztelkednek meg a halottakért?

Különben mit cselekesznek azok, a kik a halottakért keresztelkednek meg, a halottak teljességgel nem támadnak fel? Miért is keresztelkednek meg a halottakért?

Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?

Altfel, ce ar face cei ce se botează pentru cei morţi? Dacă nu învie morţii nicidecum, de ce se mai botează ei pentru cei morţi?

Otherwise, what do people mean by being baptized on behalf of the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why are people baptized on their behalf?

Mi is miért veszélyeztetjük magunkat minden órában?

And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?

Why are we in danger every hour?

Naponként a halál révén állok, ami oly igaz, testvéreim, mint az, hogy ti dicsekvésem vagytok a Krisztus Jézusban, a mi Urunkban.

I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our LORD, I die daily.

În fiecare zi eu sunt în primejdie de moarte; atât este de adevărat lucrul acesta, fraţilor, cât este de adevărat că am de ce să mă laud cu voi în Hristos Isus, Domnul nostru.

I protest, brothers, by my pride in you, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die every day!

Ha csak emberi módon viaskodtam Efezusban a fenevadakkal, mi a hasznom abból? Ha a halottak nem támadnak fel, akkor együnk és igyunk, holnap úgyis meghalunk!

If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.

What do I gain if, humanly speaking, I fought with beasts at Ephesus? If the dead are not raised, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.”

Ne tévelyegjetek! A jó erkölcsöt megrontja a rossz társaság.

Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

Nu vă înşelaţi: „Tovărăşiile rele strică obiceiurile bune”.

Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.”

Józanodjatok ki és ne vétkezzetek, mert némelyek nem ismerik Istent, ezt megszégyenítésetekre mondom.

Serkenjetek fel igazán és ne vétkezzetek; mert némelyek nem ismerik Istent; megszégyenítéstekre mondom.

Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Veniţi-vă în fire, cum se cuvine, şi nu păcătuiţi! Căci sunt între voi unii care nu cunosc pe Dumnezeu: spre ruşinea voastră o spun.

Wake up from your drunken stupor, as is right, and do not go on sinning. For some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.

De kérdezhetné valaki: Hogyan támadnak fel a halottak? Milyen testben jönnek elő?

De mondhatná valaki: Mi módon támadnak fel a halottak? és minémű testtel jönnek ki?

But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?

Dar va zice cineva: „Cum învie morţii? Şi cu ce trup se vor întoarce?”

But someone will ask, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body do they come?”

Balgatag! Amit elvetsz, nem kel életre, míg meg nem hal,

Balgatag! a mit te vetsz, nem elevenedik meg, hanemha megrothadánd.

Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:

Nebun ce eşti! Ce semeni tu nu învie, dacă nu moare mai întâi.

You foolish person! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies.

és abban, amit elvetsz, nem a leendő testet veted el, hanem a puszta magot, talán búzáét vagy valami másét.

And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:

Şi când semeni, semeni nu trupul care va fi, ci doar un grăunte, cum se întâmplă: fie de grâu, fie de altă sămânţă.

And what you sow is not the body that is to be, but a bare kernel, perhaps of wheat or of some other grain.

But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

But God gives it a body as he has chosen, and to each kind of seed its own body.

Nem minden test egyforma, hanem más az embereké, más az állatok teste, más a madarak teste, és más a halaké.

All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

For not all flesh is the same, but there is one kind for humans, another for animals, another for birds, and another for fish.

There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

There are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the glory of the heavenly is of one kind, and the glory of the earthly is of another.

There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.

There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for star differs from star in glory.

Így van a halottak feltámadásával is. Elvettetik romlandóságban, feltámasztatik romolhatatlanságban,

So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

So is it with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable; what is raised is imperishable.

It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.

Így is van megírva: Az első ember, Ádám, élőlénnyé lett, az utolsó Ádám megelevenítő Lélekké.

And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Thus it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

But it is not the spiritual that is first but the natural, and then the spiritual.

Az első ember a föld porából lett, a második ember a mennyből való.

The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.

The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven.

Amikor pedig ez a romlandó test romolhatatlanságba öltözik, és a halandó halhatatlanságba öltözik, akkor beteljesül az az ige, amely meg van írva: A diadal elnyelte a halált.

So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

Azért, szeretett testvéreim, legyetek eltökéltek, rendíthetetlenek, mindenkor buzgólkodva az Úr dolgában, hiszen tudjátok, hogy munkátok nem hiábavaló az Úrban.

Azért szerelmes atyámfiai erősen álljatok, mozdíthatatlanul, buzgólkodván az Úrnak dolgában mindenkor, tudván, hogy a ti munkátok nem hiábavaló az Úrban.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

De aceea, preaiubiţii mei fraţi, fiţi tari, neclintiţi, sporiţi totdeauna în lucrul Domnului, căci ştiţi că osteneala voastră în Domnul nu este zadarnică.

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
