Pál, Jézus Krisztusnak Isten akaratából elhívott apostola és Szószthenész, a testvér,

Pál, Jézus Krisztusnak Isten akaratából elhívott apostola, és Sosthenes, az atyafi.

Paul called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,

Paul, called by the will of God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus, and our brother Sosthenes,

Isten gyülekezetének, amely Korinthusban van, a Krisztus Jézusban megszentelteknek, elhívott szenteknek mindazokkal együtt, akik bármely helyen segítségül hívják a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus nevét, aki az ő Uruk és a miénk is.

Az Isten gyülekezetének, a mely Korinthusban van, a Krisztus Jézusban megszentelteknek, elhívott szenteknek, mindazokkal egybe, a kik a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus nevét segítségül hívják bármely helyen, a magokén és a miénken:

Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their's and our's:

To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours:

Kegyelem nektek és békesség Istentől, a mi Atyánktól és az Úr Jézus Krisztustól.

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Hálát adok Istennek mindenkor értetek az Isten kegyelméért, amelyet a Krisztus Jézusban adott nektek,

I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;

Mulţumesc Dumnezeului meu totdeauna, cu privire la voi, pentru harul lui Dumnezeu care v-a fost dat în Isus Hristos.

I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus,

hogy mindenben meggazdagodtatok őbenne, minden beszédben és minden ismeretben,

That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;

Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:

În felul acesta, mărturia despre Hristos a fost bine întărită în mijlocul vostru;

even as the testimony about Christ was confirmed among you—

Ezért nem is szűkölködtök semmilyen kegyelmi ajándékban, várva a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus megjelenését,

Úgy, hogy semmi kegyelmi ajándék nélkül nem szűkölködtök, várván a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztusnak megjelenését,

So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:

so that you are not lacking in any gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ,

God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

Credincios este Dumnezeu, care v-a chemat la părtăşia cu Fiul Său Isus Hristos, Domnul nostru.

God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Kérlek azonban titeket, testvéreim, a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus nevére, hogy mindnyájan egyféleképpen szóljatok, és ne legyenek köztetek szakadások, hanem legyetek ismét egy értelmen és azonos véleményen.

Kérlek azonban titeket atyámfiai, a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus nevére, hogy mindnyájan egyképen szóljatok és ne legyenek köztetek szakadások, de legyetek teljesen egyek ugyanazon értelemben és ugyanazon véleményben.

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Vă îndemn, fraţilor, pentru Numele Domnului nostru Isus Hristos, să aveţi toţi acelaşi fel de vorbire, să n-aveţi dezbinări între voi, ci să fiţi uniţi, în chip desăvârşit, într-un gând şi o simţire.

I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.

For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.

For it has been reported to me by Chloe’s people that there is quarreling among you, my brothers.

Arról beszélek, hogy közöttetek mindenki ezt mondja: Én Pálé vagyok, én meg Apollósé, én meg Kéfásé, én pedig Krisztusé.

Azt értem pedig, hogy mindenitek ezt mondja: Én Pálé vagyok, én meg Apollósé, én meg Kéfásé, én meg Krisztusé.

Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.

Vreau să spun că fiecare din voi zice: „Eu sunt al lui Pavel!” – „Şi eu, al lui Apolo!” – „Şi eu, al lui Chifa!” – „Şi eu, al lui Hristos!” –

What I mean is that each one of you says, “I follow Paul,” or “I follow Apollos,” or “I follow Cephas,” or “I follow Christ.”

Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

Hristos a fost împărţit? Pavel a fost răstignit pentru voi? Sau în numele lui Pavel aţi fost voi botezaţi?

Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?

Hálát adok Istennek, hogy senkit sem kereszteltem meg közületek, kivéve Kriszpuszt és Gájuszt,

I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;

I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius,

Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.

Megkereszteltem még Sztefanász házanépét is, ezenkívül nem tudom, hogy valaki mást is kereszteltem volna.

And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.

(I did baptize also the household of Stephanas. Beyond that, I do not know whether I baptized anyone else.)

Mert Krisztus nem azért küldött engem, hogy kereszteljek, hanem hogy az evangéliumot hirdessem, de nem szólásban való bölcsességgel, hogy Krisztus keresztje ne legyen hiábavaló.

Mert nem azért küldött engem a Krisztus, hogy kereszteljek, hanem hogy az evangyéliomot hirdessem; de nem szólásban való bölcseséggel, hogy a Krisztus keresztje hiábavaló ne legyen.

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

De fapt, Hristos m-a trimis nu să botez, ci să propovăduiesc Evanghelia: nu cu înţelepciunea vorbirii, ca nu cumva crucea lui Hristos să fie făcută zadarnică.

For Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel, and not with words of eloquent wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Fiindcă propovăduirea crucii este o nebunie pentru cei ce sunt pe calea pierzării; dar pentru noi, care suntem pe calea mântuirii, este puterea lui Dumnezeu.

For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Mert meg van írva: Elvesztem a bölcsek bölcsességét, és az értelmesek értelmét elvetem.

For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

Unde este înţeleptul? Unde este cărturarul? Unde este vorbăreţul veacului acestuia? N-a prostit Dumnezeu înţelepciunea lumii acesteia?

Where is the one who is wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?

Mert miután az Isten bölcsességében nem ismerte meg a világ a bölcsesség által Istent, tetszett Istennek, hogy az igehirdetés bolondsága által üdvözítse a hívőket.

Mert minekutána az Isten bölcseségében nem ismerte meg a világ a bölcseség által az Istent, tetszék az Istennek, hogy az igehirdetés bolondsága által tartsa meg a hívőket.

For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

Căci întrucât lumea, cu înţelepciunea ei, n-a cunoscut pe Dumnezeu în înţelepciunea lui Dumnezeu, Dumnezeu a găsit cu cale să mântuiască pe credincioşi prin nebunia propovăduirii crucii.

For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe.

Mi pedig a megfeszített Krisztust prédikáljuk, aki a zsidóknak ugyan botránkozás, a pogányoknak pedig bolondság,

But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

dar noi propovăduim pe Hristos cel răstignit, care pentru iudei este o pricină de poticnire, şi pentru Neamuri, o nebunie;

but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles,

But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

Mert Isten bolondsága bölcsebb az embereknél, és Isten erőtlensége erősebb az embereknél.

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

Căci nebunia lui Dumnezeu este mai înţeleaptă decât oamenii; şi slăbiciunea lui Dumnezeu este mai tare decât oamenii.

For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

Mert nézzétek csak a ti elhívatásotokat, testvéreim, hogy nem sokan vagytok bölcsek test szerint, nem sokan hatalmasok, nem sokan nemesek.

Mert tekintsétek csak a ti hivatástokat, atyámfiai, hogy nem sokan [hívattak] bölcsek test szerint, nem sokan hatalmasak, nem sokan nemesek;

For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

De pildă, fraţilor, uitaţi-vă la voi care aţi fost chemaţi: printre voi nu sunt mulţi înţelepţi în felul lumii, nici mulţi puternici, nici mulţi de neam ales.

For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth.

Hanem a világ bolondjait választotta ki magának Isten, hogy megszégyenítse a bölcseket, és a világ erőtleneit választotta ki magának Isten, hogy megszégyenítse az erőseket,

Hanem a világ bolondjait választotta ki magának az Isten, hogy megszégyenítse a bölcseket; és a világ erőtleneit választotta ki magának az Isten, hogy megszégyenítse az erőseket;

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

Dar Dumnezeu a ales lucrurile nebune ale lumii, ca să facă de ruşine pe cele înţelepte. Dumnezeu a ales lucrurile slabe ale lumii, ca să facă de ruşine pe cele tari.

But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong;

And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

Şi Dumnezeu a ales lucrurile josnice ale lumii şi lucrurile dispreţuite, ba încă lucrurile care nu sunt, ca să nimicească pe cele ce sunt;

God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are,

That no flesh should glory in his presence.

so that no human being might boast in the presence of God.

De általa ti a Krisztus Jézusban vagytok, aki Istentől bölcsességül, igazságul, szentségül és váltságul lett nekünk,

Tőle vagytok pedig ti a Krisztus Jézusban, ki bölcseségül lőn nékünk Istentől, és igazságul, szentségül és váltságul:

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

Şi voi, prin El, sunteţi în Hristos Isus. El a fost făcut de Dumnezeu pentru noi înţelepciune, neprihănire, sfinţire şi răscumpărare,

And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption,

That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

pentru ca, după cum este scris: „Cine se laudă să se laude în Domnul.”

so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”
