Embernek fia! Fordítsd arcodat Jeruzsálem felé, és szólj a szent helyek ellen, és prófétálj Izráel földje ellen!

Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel,

„Fiul omului, întoarce-ţi faţa spre Ierusalim şi vorbeşte împotriva locurilor sfinte, proroceşte împotriva ţării lui Israel!

“Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem and preach against the sanctuaries. Prophesy against the land of Israel

Mondd Izráel földjének: Így szól az ÚR: „Íme, rád támadok, kivonom kardomat hüvelyéből, és kiirtok belőled igazat és gonoszt.

És mondjad Izráel földjének: Így szól az Úr: Ímé, én reád [megyek,] és kivonszom kardomat hüvelyéből, és kivágok belőled igazat és gonoszt.

And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.

Spune ţării lui Israel: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Iată, am necaz pe tine, Îmi voi trage sabia din teacă şi voi nimici cu desăvârşire din mijlocul tău pe cel neprihănit şi pe cel rău.

and say to the land of Israel, Thus says the LORD: Behold, I am against you and will draw my sword from its sheath and will cut off from you both righteous and wicked.

Azért, hogy kivágjak belőled igazat és gonoszt, kijön kardom a hüvelyéből minden test ellen déltől északig.

Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of his sheath against all flesh from the south to the north:

Because I will cut off from you both righteous and wicked, therefore my sword shall be drawn from its sheath against all flesh from south to north.

That all flesh may know that I the LORD have drawn forth my sword out of his sheath: it shall not return any more.

And all flesh shall know that I am the LORD. I have drawn my sword from its sheath; it shall not be sheathed again.

Te pedig, embernek fia, sóhajtozz! Derekad fájdalmában keserűen sóhajtozz a szemük láttára!

És te, embernek fia, nyögj! Derekad fájdalmában keserűséggel nyögj szemök láttára.

Sigh therefore, thou son of man, with the breaking of thy loins; and with bitterness sigh before their eyes.

Şi tu, fiul omului, gemi! Cu rinichii zdrobiţi şi cu amărăciunea în suflet, gemi sub privirile lor!

“As for you, son of man, groan; with breaking heart and bitter grief, groan before their eyes.

Ha megkérdezik tőled, hogy miért sóhajtozol, ezt mondd: A hír miatt, amely ha ideér, megolvad minden szív, elerőtlenedik minden kéz, elcsügged minden lélek, és minden térd elolvad, mint a víz. Íme, eljön és beteljesedik, azt mondja az én Uram, az ÚR.”

És lészen, mikor mondják néked: Miért nyögsz te? ezt mondjad: A hírért, mert beteljesedett: és elolvad minden szív és elerőtlenedik minden kéz és elcsügged minden lélek és minden térd elolvad mint a víz. Ímé beteljesedett és meglett, ezt mondja az Úr Isten.

And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord GOD.

Şi dacă te vor întreba: „Pentru ce gemi?”, să răspunzi: „Pentru că vine o veste”… Când va veni, toate inimile se vor înspăimânta, toate mâinile vor slăbi, toate sufletele se vor mâhni şi toţi genunchii se vor topi ca apa!… Iată că vine, a sosit – zice Domnul Dumnezeu!”

And when they say to you, ‘Why do you groan?’ you shall say, ‘Because of the news that it is coming. Every heart will melt, and all hands will be feeble; every spirit will faint, and all knees will be weak as water. Behold, it is coming, and it will be fulfilled,’” declares the Lord GOD.

Embernek fia! Prófétálj, és mondd: Ezt mondta az ÚR: „Mondd: Kard, kard! Meg van élesítve, ki is van fényesítve!

Embernek fia! prófétálj és mondjad: Ezt mondta az Úr: Mondjad: fegyver, fegyver! megélesített és meg is fényesített!

Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished:

„Fiul omului, proroceşte şi spune: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul.” Zi: „Sabia, da, sabia este ascuţită şi lustruită.

“Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus says the Lord, say: “A sword, a sword is sharpened and also polished,

Meg van élesítve, hogy öldököljön, ki van fényesítve, hogy villogjon. Hát örülhetünk-e fiam királyi pálcájának, amikor megveti minden fa?

Hogy öldököljön, megélesíttetett, hogy legyen villámlása, megfényesíttetett. Avagy örüljünk-é? Fiam [e] veszszeje megvet minden fát!

It is sharpened to make a sore slaughter; it is furbished that it may glitter: should we then make mirth? it contemneth the rod of my son, as every tree.

Este ascuţită pentru măcel şi lustruită ca să lucească!… O, sabie, tu tai toiagul de cârmuire al fiului Meu, care nesocoteşte orice lemn…

sharpened for slaughter, polished to flash like lightning! (Or shall we rejoice? You have despised the rod, my son, with everything of wood.)

Azért kapta, hogy kifényesítse, és megmarkolják. Megélesítették azt a kardot, és ki van fényesítve, hogy az öldöklő kezébe adják.

És adta azt megfényesítésre, hogy marokba fogják; megélesíttetett az a kard s megfényesíttetett, hogy adják a megölőnek kezébe.

And he hath given it to be furbished, that it may be handled: this sword is sharpened, and it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.

A dat-o la lustruit, ca s-o apuce cu mâna; este ascuţită sabia şi lustruită, ca să înarmeze mâna celui ce măcelăreşte.

So the sword is given to be polished, that it may be grasped in the hand. It is sharpened and polished to be given into the hand of the slayer.

Kiálts és jajgass, embernek fia! Mert bekövetkezik ez népemen és Izráel minden fejedelmén, hogy kardélre jutnak népemmel együtt, ezért üss a combodra!

Kiálts és jajgass, embernek fia! mert ez az én népemen lészen és Izráel minden fejedelmin: e kardra jutnak népemmel együtt, ezokért üss czombodra.

Cry and howl, son of man: for it shall be upon my people, it shall be upon all the princes of Israel: terrors by reason of the sword shall be upon my people: smite therefore upon thy thigh.

Strigă şi vaită-te, fiul omului! Căci este scoasă împotriva poporului Meu, împotriva tuturor voievozilor lui Israel care sunt daţi pradă sabiei împreună cu poporul Meu; de aceea bate-te pe coapsă!

Cry out and wail, son of man, for it is against my people. It is against all the princes of Israel. They are delivered over to the sword with my people. Strike therefore upon your thigh.

Már megvolt a próbatétel. De hát ha magát a királyi pálcát megvetették? Az sem lesz többé! – ezt mondja az én Uram, az ÚR.

Már megpróbáltatott. De hát ha a vessző maga is vonakodnék? Nem úgy lészen, ezt mondja az Úr Isten!

Because it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn even the rod? it shall be no more, saith the Lord GOD.

Da, încercarea s-a făcut, şi ce va fi dacă toiagul acesta de cârmuire, care nesocoteşte totul va fi nimicit? – zice Domnul Dumnezeu!”

For it will not be a testing—what could it do if you despise the rod?” declares the Lord GOD.

Te pedig, embernek fia, prófétálj, és csapd össze tenyeredet, mert kétszer, sőt háromszor sújt le a kard. Öldöklő kard ez, nagy öldöklés kardja, amely körüljárja őket

Te pedig, embernek fia, prófétálj, és csapd össze tenyeredet, mert kettős lesz a kard, most harmadszor; öldöklő kard az, a nagy öldöklő kard körüljárja őket.

Thou therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite thine hands together. and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the slain: it is the sword of the great men that are slain, which entereth into their privy chambers.

Şi tu, fiul omului, proroceşte şi bate din mâini! Loviturile sabiei să fie îndoite, întreite! Este sabia de măcel, sabia măcelului celui mare, care îi urmăreşte din toate părţile.

“As for you, son of man, prophesy. Clap your hands and let the sword come down twice, yes, three times, the sword for those to be slain. It is the sword for the great slaughter, which surrounds them,

azért, hogy elolvadjon a szív, és sokan elhulljanak minden kapunál. Öldöklő kardot fogtam, amely villámlásra készült, öldöklésre lett kifényesítve!

Hogy elolvadjon a szív és sokan elhulljanak: minden kapujokban rájok vetem a kard villámlását, hisz villámlásra készült, öldöklésre kifényesíttetett!

I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may faint, and their ruins be multiplied: ah! it is made bright, it is wrapped up for the slaughter.

Ca să arunc groaza în inimi, ca să înmulţesc pe cei loviţi, de aceea am tras sabia, ameninţându-i la toate porţile lor. Vai! E făcută să fulgere şi ascuţită pentru măcel!

that their hearts may melt, and many stumble. At all their gates I have given the glittering sword. Ah, it is made like lightning; it is taken up for slaughter.

Vágj keményen jobbra, azután térj balra, amerre csak éled fordul.

Szedd össze magadat; tarts jobbra, tarts előre, tarts balra, a merre éled irányozva van.

Go thee one way or other, either on the right hand, or on the left, whithersoever thy face is set.

Strânge-ţi puterile, sabie, întoarce-te la dreapta! Aşază-te, întoarce-te la stânga! Îndreaptă-ţi ascuţişul în toate părţile!

Cut sharply to the right; set yourself to the left, wherever your face is directed.

Én is összecsapom tenyeremet, és lecsillapodik haragom. Én, az ÚR szóltam.”

Én is összecsapom tenyeremet, és megnyugotom haragomat. Én, az Úr szólottam.

I will also smite mine hands together, and I will cause my fury to rest: I the LORD have said it.

Şi Eu voi bate din mâini de bucurie şi Îmi voi potoli urgia. Eu, Domnul, vorbesc!”

I also will clap my hands, and I will satisfy my fury; I the LORD have spoken.”

The word of the LORD came to me again:

Te, embernek fia, jelölj ki magadnak két utat, amelyen följön a babilóni király kardja! Egy országból jöjjön ki mind a kettő. Jelzőoszlopot is készíts, a városba vezető út kereszteződéséhez állítsd fel.

És te, embernek fia, csinálj magadnak két útat, a melyen jőjjön a babiloni király kardja; egy földről jőjjön ki mind a kettő; s egy kezet véss föl, a városba vezető út fejénél vésd föl.

Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come: both twain shall come forth out of one land: and choose thou a place, choose it at the head of the way to the city.

„Fiul omului, croieşte-ţi două drumuri pe unde să treacă sabia împăratului Babilonului! Amândouă trebuie să iasă din aceeaşi ţară. Fă un semn pe drum, fă-l la începutul drumului care duce într-o cetate.

“As for you, son of man, mark two ways for the sword of the king of Babylon to come. Both of them shall come from the same land. And make a signpost; make it at the head of the way to a city.

Jelölj ki utat, hogy azon jöjjön a kard Rabbat-Ammón ellen, azután Júda ellen és a körülkerített Jeruzsálem ellen.

Útat csinálj, hogy jőjjön a kard az Ammon fiainak Rabbájára, aztán Júdára, a körülkerített Jeruzsálemre.

Appoint a way, that the sword may come to Rabbath of the Ammonites, and to Judah in Jerusalem the defenced.

Mark a way for the sword to come to Rabbah of the Ammonites and to Judah, into Jerusalem the fortified.

Mert megáll a babilóni király az útkereszteződésnél, a két út elejénél jövendőt mondatni, hogy megrázza a nyilakat, megkérdezze a bálványokat, megnézze a májat.

Mert megáll a babiloni király az útak kezdetén, a két út fejénél, hogy jövendőt láttasson; megrázza a nyilakat, megkérdezi a Teráfimot, megnézi a májat.

For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he made his arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver.

Căci împăratul Babilonului stă la răscruce, la capătul celor două drumuri, ca să dea cu bobii; el scutură săgeţile, întreabă terafimii şi cercetează ficatul.

For the king of Babylon stands at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination. He shakes the arrows; he consults the teraphim; he looks at the liver.

Jobbja felé, Jeruzsálem felé mutat a jövendölés, ezért faltörő kosokat állít föl, ordításra nyitja a száját, csatazajt hallat, faltörő kosokat állít föl a kapukkal szemben, töltést emeltet, és ostromműveket építtet.

At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint battering rams against the gates, to cast a mount, and to build a fort.

Into his right hand comes the divination for Jerusalem, to set battering rams, to open the mouth with murder, to lift up the voice with shouting, to set battering rams against the gates, to cast up mounds, to build siege towers.

Ezt ők hiábavaló jövendölésnek tartják, esküvel is bizonygatják. De az ÚR eszükbe juttatja bűnüket, és megfogja őket.

And it shall be unto them as a false divination in their sight, to them that have sworn oaths: but he will call to remembrance the iniquity, that they may be taken.

Copiii lui Israel nu văd în aceasta decât nişte vrăjitorii deşarte, ei care au făcut jurăminte mincinoase. Dar împăratul Babilonului îşi aduce aminte de nelegiuirea lor, aşa că vor fi prinşi.”

But to them it will seem like a false divination. They have sworn solemn oaths, but he brings their guilt to remembrance, that they may be taken.

Ezért ezt mondja az én Uram, az ÚR: Mivel emlékezetben marad bűnötök, nyilvánvalókká lesznek gonoszságaitok, és kitűnik vétketek, hogy minden cselekedetetek gonosz – mivel ez emlékezetben marad, ti kézre kerültök.

Ezokáért ezt mondja az Úr Isten: Mivelhogy emlékezetbe hozzátok vétketeket, midőn nyilvánvalókká lesznek gonoszságaitok, hogy megláttassanak bűneitek minden cselekedeteitekben; mivelhogy eszembe juttok, kézzel megfogattok.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand.

De aceea, aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu: „Pentru că vă făliţi cu nelegiuirea voastră, vădindu-vă fărădelegile, arătându-vă păcatele în toate faptele voastre; pentru că vă făliţi cu ele, veţi fi prinşi de mâna lui!

“Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Because you have made your guilt to be remembered, in that your transgressions are uncovered, so that in all your deeds your sins appear—because you have come to remembrance, you shall be taken in hand.

És te, elvetemedett gonosztevő, Izráel fejedelme, akinek eljön a napja az utolsó bűntett idején

És te elvetemedett, te gonosztevő, Izráel fejedelme, a kinek napja eljött az utolsó vétek idején:

And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end,

Şi tu, domn nelegiuit, gata să fii ucis, domn al lui Israel, a cărui zi vine tocmai când nelegiuirea este la culme!”

And you, O profane wicked one, prince of Israel, whose day has come, the time of your final punishment,

– így szól az én Uram, az ÚR –: El a süveggel, le a koronával! Ez nem marad így. Legyen a magas alacsony és az alacsony magas!

Így szól az Úr Isten: El a süveggel, le a koronával! Ez nem lészen ez: az alacsony legyen magas, és a magas alacsony!

Thus saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu: „La o parte cu mitra, jos cununa împărătească! Nu mai este cum a fost. Ce este plecat va fi înălţat, şi ce este înălţat va fi plecat!

thus says the Lord GOD: Remove the turban and take off the crown. Things shall not remain as they are. Exalt that which is low, and bring low that which is exalted.

A ruin, ruin, ruin I will make it. This also shall not be, until he comes, the one to whom judgment belongs, and I will give it to him.

Te pedig, embernek fia, prófétálj, és mondd: Ezt mondja az én Uram, az ÚR Ammón fiairól és gyalázkodásukról. Ezt mondd: „Kard, kard, amely ki van vonva, hogy öldököljön, ki van fényesítve, hogy megsemmisítsen és villogjon!

És te, embernek fia, prófétálj, és mondjad: Ezt mondja az Úr Isten Ammon fiairól és gyalázkodásukról, és mondjad: Fegyver, fegyver, öldöklésre kivont, megfényesíttetett, hogy ragyogjon, azért, hogy villámljék;

And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword is drawn: for the slaughter it is furbished, to consume because of the glittering:

Şi tu, fiul omului, proroceşte şi spune: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu despre copiii lui Amon şi despre ocara lor.” Spune: „Sabia, da, sabia este scoasă pentru măcel; este lustruită pentru nimicire, ca să lucească!

“And you, son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus says the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites and concerning their reproach; say, A sword, a sword is drawn for the slaughter. It is polished to consume and to flash like lightning—

Mivel felőled hiábavalóságot látnak, hazugságot jövendölnek neked, hogy odategyenek a megölt gonoszok nyakára, akiknek eljön a napjuk az utolsó bűntett idején,

De mivel felőled hiábavalóságot látnak, hazugságot jövendölnek, hogy odatesznek téged a megölt gonoszok nyakára, a kiknek napjok eljött az utolsó vétek idején:

Whiles they see vanity unto thee, whiles they divine a lie unto thee, to bring thee upon the necks of them that are slain, of the wicked, whose day is come, when their iniquity shall have an end.

while they see for you false visions, while they divine lies for you—to place you on the necks of the profane wicked, whose day has come, the time of their final punishment.

Shall I cause it to return into his sheath? I will judge thee in the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy nativity.

Bagă-ţi sabia înapoi în teacă. În locul în care ai fost făcut, în ţara ta de naştere, te voi judeca!

Return it to its sheath. In the place where you were created, in the land of your origin, I will judge you.

Kiontom rád haragomat, fölindulásom tüzét fúvom rád, és goromba férfiak kezébe adlak, akik mesterek abban, hogy elveszítsenek.

És kiontom reád haragomat, búsulásom tüzét fúvom reád, és adlak goromba férfiak kezébe, kik mesterek, [téged] elveszteni.

And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, and skilful to destroy.

Îmi voi vărsa mânia peste tine, voi sufla împotriva ta cu focul urgiei Mele şi te voi da în mâinile unor oameni care sfâşie şi care nu lucrează decât la nimicire.

And I will pour out my indignation upon you; I will blow upon you with the fire of my wrath, and I will deliver you into the hands of brutish men, skillful to destroy.

A tűz eledele leszel, véredet elnyeli a föld. Többé nem emlékeznek rád!” – én, az ÚR szóltam.

A tűz eledele leszel; véredet benyeli a föld; emlékezetbe nem jösz többé, mert én, az Úr szóltam.

Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it.

Vei fi ars de foc; sângele tău va curge în mijlocul ţării! Nu-şi vor mai aduce aminte de tine! Căci Eu, Domnul, am vorbit.”

You shall be fuel for the fire. Your blood shall be in the midst of the land. You shall be no more remembered, for I the LORD have spoken.”
