Majd így szólt hozzám az ÚR szava:

És lőn az Úr beszéde hozzám, mondván:

Embernek fia, adj elő egy találós mesét, és mondj példabeszédet Izráel házának!

Son of man, put forth a riddle, and speak a parable unto the house of Israel;

„Fiul omului, spune o vorbă cu tâlc, spune o pildă casei lui Israel

“Son of man, propound a riddle, and speak a parable to the house of Israel;

Ezt mondd: Így szól az én Uram, az ÚR: Egy nagy szárnyú, hatalmas sas, melynek hosszú szárnytollai voltak, és amelyet tarka tollazat fedett teljesen, eljött a Libánonra, és letépte a cédrusfa tetejét.

És mondjad: Így szól az Úr Isten: A nagyszárnyú nagy saskeselyű, melynek hosszú csapótollai valának, s mely rakva vala különféle színű tollakkal, jöve a Libanonra, és elfoglalá a czédrusfa tetejét.

And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar:

şi zi: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu: „Un vultur mare cu aripi lungi, cu aripile întinse, acoperit cu pene pestriţe a venit în Liban şi a luat vârful unui cedru.

say, Thus says the Lord GOD: A great eagle with great wings and long pinions, rich in plumage of many colors, came to Lebanon and took the top of the cedar.

Gyönge ágainak hegyét letörte, kalmárok földjére vitte, és az árusok városában tette le.

He cropped off the top of his young twigs, and carried it into a land of traffick; he set it in a city of merchants.

A rupt ramura cea mai înaltă a lui, a dus-o într-o ţară de negoţ şi a pus-o într-o cetate de negustori;

He broke off the topmost of its young twigs and carried it to a land of trade and set it in a city of merchants.

És vett annak az országnak a magvából, és elvetette egy termékeny mezőbe. Sok víz mellé vitte, és mint egy fűzfát, elültette.

És vőn annak a földnek magvából, és elveté azt termékeny mezőbe; sok vizek mellé vivé; mint fűzfát ülteté el.

He took also of the seed of the land, and planted it in a fruitful field; he placed it by great waters, and set it as a willow tree.

a luat şi din sămânţa ţării şi a pus-o într-un pământ roditor; a pus-o lângă o apă mare şi a sădit-o ca pe o salcie.

Then he took of the seed of the land and planted it in fertile soil. He placed it beside abundant waters. He set it like a willow twig,

Ez kisarjadt, és elterülő, alacsony szőlőtőkévé lett. Ágait feléje fordította, gyökerei pedig őalatta voltak. Szőlőtőkévé lett, vesszőket sarjasztott, és indákat növesztett.

És felsarjadt, és lőn elterülő, alacsony szőlőtővé, hogy vesszőit amahhoz fordítsa s gyökerei amaz alatt legyenek, és szőlőtővé lőn, és vesszőket terme, s ágacskákat bocsáta ki.

And it grew, and became a spreading vine of low stature, whose branches turned toward him, and the roots thereof were under him: so it became a vine, and brought forth branches, and shot forth sprigs.

Lăstarul acesta a crescut şi s-a făcut un butuc de viţă întins, dar nu prea înalt; viţele îi erau îndreptate spre vultur, şi rădăcinile erau sub el. Astfel s-a făcut un butuc de viţă, a dat lăstari şi a făcut mlădiţe.

and it sprouted and became a low spreading vine, and its branches turned toward him, and its roots remained where it stood. So it became a vine and produced branches and put out boughs.

De volt egy másik nagy szárnyú, soktollú, hatalmas sas is, és íme, az a szőlőtőke feléje terjesztette gyökereit, és feléje nyújtotta ágait, hogy az táplálja, és ne a talaj, amelybe ültették.

És vala más nagy szárnyú, soktollú nagy saskeselyű, és ímé, ez a szőlőtő feléje terjeszté gyökereit s vesszeit hozzá nyújtá ültetésének ágyaiból, hogy öntözze őt;

There was also another great eagle with great wings and many feathers: and, behold, this vine did bend her roots toward him, and shot forth her branches toward him, that he might water it by the furrows of her plantation.

Mai era însă un alt vultur mare cu aripi lungi şi cu pene multe. Şi iată că din pământul unde era sădită, viţa aceasta şi-a întins rădăcinile cu lăcomie spre el şi şi-a îndreptat ramurile spre el ca s-o ude mai mult decât pe stratul în care era sădită.

“And there was another great eagle with great wings and much plumage, and behold, this vine bent its roots toward him and shot forth its branches toward him from the bed where it was planted, that he might water it.

Pedig jó földbe, sok víz mellé ültették el, hogy vesszőket hajtson, és gyümölcsöt teremjen, hogy kitűnő szőlőtőke legyen.

Pedig jó földbe, sok víz mellé ültették vala el, hogy ágakat hajtson és gyümölcsöt teremjen, hogy legyen jeles szőlőtő.

It was planted in a good soil by great waters, that it might bring forth branches, and that it might bear fruit, that it might be a goodly vine.

Viţa era sădită într-un pământ bun, lângă o apă mare, aşa ca să facă mlădiţe, să dea rod şi să se facă o viţă minunată.”

It had been planted on good soil by abundant waters, that it might produce branches and bear fruit and become a noble vine.

Ezt mondd: „Így szól az én Uram, az ÚR: Vajon jó szerencsés lesz-e? Vajon nem szaggatja-e ki gyökereit, és nem szakítja-e le gyümölcsét úgy, hogy megszáradjon, és ágának minden hajtása elszáradjon? Nem kell hozzá erős kar és sok nép, hogy gyökerestül kitépjék.

Mondjad: Így szól az Úr Isten: Vajjon jó szerencsés lesz-é? Vajjon gyökereit nem szaggatja-é ki, és gyümölcsét nem vágja-é le, hogy elszáradjon, hajtásának minden ága elszáradjon, és pedig nem erős karral és sok néppel [támad reá,] hogy kitépje azt gyökerestől.

Say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Shall it prosper? shall he not pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it wither? it shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great power or many people to pluck it up by the roots thereof.

Spune, zice Domnul Dumnezeu, îi va merge bine ei oare? Nu-i va smulge vulturul dintâi rădăcinile şi-i va tăia rodul, şi i se vor usca toate frunzele odrăslite? Se va usca şi nu va trebui niciun braţ puternic, nici multă lume ca s-o scoată din rădăcinile ei.

“Say, Thus says the Lord GOD: Will it thrive? Will he not pull up its roots and cut off its fruit, so that it withers, so that all its fresh sprouting leaves wither? It will not take a strong arm or many people to pull it from its roots.

Íme, elültették; szerencsés lesz-e? Vagy ha megérinti a keleti szél, nem szárad-e ki teljesen a talajban, amelybe ültették?”

És ímé elplántáltatott, jó szerencsés lesz-é? Avagy ha a napkeleti szél illeti őt, nem szárad-é el teljesen, ültetésének ágyában nem szárad-é el?

Yea, behold, being planted, shall it prosper? shall it not utterly wither, when the east wind toucheth it? it shall wither in the furrows where it grew.

Iată că este sădită: îi va merge bine? Dacă o va atinge vântul de răsărit, nu se va usca ea oare? Da, se va usca în straturile unde a odrăslit.”

Behold, it is planted; will it thrive? Will it not utterly wither when the east wind strikes it—wither away on the bed where it sprouted?”

Majd így szólt hozzám az ÚR szava:

És lőn az Úr szava hozzám, mondván:

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Cuvântul Domnului mi-a vorbit astfel:

Then the word of the LORD came to me:

Ezt mondd a pártütők házának: „Hát nem értitek, hogy mit jelent ez?” Ezt mondd: Íme, eljött a babilóni király Jeruzsálembe, fogta annak királyát és fejedelmeit, és magával vitte őket Babilónba.

No, mondjad a pártos háznak: Avagy nem értettétek-é mi ez? Mondjad: Ímé, eljött a babiloni király Jeruzsálembe, és fogá királyát és fejedelmeit és elvivé őket magához Babilonba.

Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babylon;

„Spune casei acesteia răzvrătite: „Nu ştiţi ce înseamnă aceasta?” Şi spune: „Iată, împăratul Babilonului a venit la Ierusalim, a luat pe împăratul şi pe căpeteniile lui şi i-a dus cu el în Babilon.

“Say now to the rebellious house, Do you not know what these things mean? Tell them, behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, and took her king and her princes and brought them to him to Babylon.

De vett a királyi sarjból, szövetséget kötött vele, és megeskette őt, az ország nagyjait pedig elvitte,

És vőn a királyi magból, s frigyet szerze vele, s megesketé őt, de a földnek erőseit elvivé,

And hath taken of the king's seed, and made a covenant with him, and hath taken an oath of him: he hath also taken the mighty of the land:

A luat un vlăstar de neam împărătesc, a făcut legământ cu el şi l-a pus să jure; dar pe mai marii ţării i-a luat cu el

And he took one of the royal offspring and made a covenant with him, putting him under oath (the chief men of the land he had taken away),

hogy tartósan alacsonyrendű királyság legyen, s hogy föl ne emelkedjék, hanem megtartsa a szövetséget.

Hogy alacsony királyság legyen, hogy fel ne emelkedjék, hanem frigyét megőrizze, hogy ez megálljon.

That the kingdom might be base, that it might not lift itself up, but that by keeping of his covenant it might stand.

ca împărăţia să rămână smerită, să nu se mai poată ridica, ci împăratul să-şi ţină legământul, rămânându-i credincios.

that the kingdom might be humble and not lift itself up, and keep his covenant that it might stand.

De pártot ütött ellene, amikor követeket küldött Egyiptomba, hogy az lovakat és sok hadinépet adjon neki. Vajon szerencsés lesz-e? Vajon megmenekül-e, aki így cselekszik? Aki megszegte a szövetséget, megszabadul-e?

De pártot üte ellene, bocsátván követeit Égyiptomba, hogy adjon néki lovakat és sok népet. Vajjon jó szerencsés lesz-é? Vajjon megszabadítja-é magát, a ki ezeket cselekszi? a ki megszegte a szövetséget, megszabadul-é?

But he rebelled against him in sending his ambassadors into Egypt, that they might give him horses and much people. Shall he prosper? shall he escape that doeth such things? or shall he break the covenant, and be delivered?

Dar el s-a răsculat împotriva lui şi a trimis soli în Egipt ca să-i dea cai şi un mare număr de oameni. Cel ce a făcut asemenea lucruri va izbuti el oare, va scăpa el oare? Cum să mai scape, dacă a rupt legământul?

But he rebelled against him by sending his ambassadors to Egypt, that they might give him horses and a large army. Will he thrive? Can one escape who does such things? Can he break the covenant and yet escape?

Élek én – ezt mondja az én Uram, az ÚR –, hogy ott hal meg majd Babilónban, annak a királynak a lakóhelyén, aki őt királlyá tette, akinek esküt tett, de megvetette azt, és akivel szövetséget kötött, de megszegte azt.

Élek én, ezt mondja az Úr Isten, hogy annak a királynak lakóhelyén, a ki őt királylyá tette, a kinek tett esküjét megvetette, s a kivel tett frigyét megszegte, [ott ]nála, Babilonban hal meg.

As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely in the place where the king dwelleth that made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.

Pe viaţa Mea, zice Domnul Dumnezeu, că în ţara împăratului care l-a pus să domnească, faţă de care şi-a călcat jurământul şi al cărui legământ l-a rupt, lângă el, în mijlocul Babilonului va muri!

“As I live, declares the Lord GOD, surely in the place where the king dwells who made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant with him he broke, in Babylon he shall die.

Mert nem jön segítségére a fáraó nagy haddal és nagy sereggel, amikor töltést emelnek, és ostromművet építenek sok lélek kiirtására.

És a Faraó nagy haddal és nagy sokasággal vele semmit nem tesz a háborúban, mikor sánczot töltenek és tornyot építenek sok lélek kiirtására.

Neither shall Pharaoh with his mighty army and great company make for him in the war, by casting up mounts, and building forts, to cut off many persons:

Aşa că nici faraon nu va veni cu o oaste mare şi popor mult să-l ajute în război, când se vor ridica întărituri şi se vor face şanţuri pentru nimicirea multor suflete.

Pharaoh with his mighty army and great company will not help him in war, when mounds are cast up and siege walls built to cut off many lives.

De megvetette az esküt, megszegve a szövetséget, pedig íme, kezet adott rá, és mégis megcselekedte mindezeket: így hát nem fog megszabadulni!

S ha megvetette az esküt, hogy megszegje a frigyet, pedig ímé, kezet adott rá, s mégis megcselekedte mindezeket; nem fog megszabadulni!

Seeing he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when, lo, he had given his hand, and hath done all these things, he shall not escape.

El a nesocotit jurământul, până într-atât că a rupt legământul, ba încă şi-a dat mâna şi a făcut toate aceste lucruri; nu va scăpa!”

He despised the oath in breaking the covenant, and behold, he gave his hand and did all these things; he shall not escape.

Ezért így szól az én Uram, az ÚR: Élek én, hogy eskümet, melyet megvetett, és szövetségemet, melyet megszegett, fejére olvasom.

Azért így szól az Úr Isten: Élek én, hogy eskümet, melyet megvetett, és frigyemet, melyet megszegett, fejéhez verem.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that he hath broken, even it will I recompense upon his own head.

De aceea, aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu: „Pe viaţa Mea că, întrucât a nesocotit jurământul făcut în Numele Meu şi a rupt legământul Meu, voi face să se întoarcă asupra capului lui lucrul acesta.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: As I live, surely it is my oath that he despised, and my covenant that he broke. I will return it upon his head.

Kiterjesztem hálómat ellene, és megfogja csapdám. Elviszem őt Babilónba, és ott törvénykezem fölötte gonosz cselekedetei miatt, amelyeket elkövetett ellenem.

És kiterjesztem hálómat ellene, és megfogatik varsámban, és elviszem őt Babilonba s ott törvénykezem vele gonoszságáért, melylyel ellenem járt.

And I will spread my net upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare, and I will bring him to Babylon, and will plead with him there for his trespass that he hath trespassed against me.

Îmi voi întinde mreaja peste el, şi va fi prins în laţul Meu. Îl voi duce în Babilon, şi acolo îl voi judeca pentru abaterea săvârşită de el faţă de Mine.

I will spread my net over him, and he shall be taken in my snare, and I will bring him to Babylon and enter into judgment with him there for the treachery he has committed against me.

Mindenki, aki megmenekült csapatából, fegyvertől hull el, akik pedig megmaradnak, szétszélednek mindenfelé. Akkor megtudjátok, hogy én, az ÚR szóltam.

És minden menekültje minden seregéből fegyver miatt hull el, és a megmaradottak szélnek szélednek mindenfelé, és megtudjátok, hogy én, az Úr beszéltem.

And all his fugitives with all his bands shall fall by the sword, and they that remain shall be scattered toward all winds: and ye shall know that I the LORD have spoken it.

Dar toţi fugarii din toate oştile lui vor cădea loviţi de sabie, şi cei ce vor mai rămâne vor fi risipiţi în toate vânturile. Şi veţi şti că Eu, Domnul, am spus aceste lucruri.”

And all the pick of his troops shall fall by the sword, and the survivors shall be scattered to every wind, and you shall know that I am the LORD; I have spoken.”

Így szól az én Uram, az ÚR: Én is letörök egy hajtást a magas cédrus tetejéről, és elültetem. Leszakítok egy gyönge ágat felső ágaiból, és elültetem egy magas, kiemelkedő hegyen.

Így szól az Úr Isten: És veszek én ama magas czédrus tetejéből, és elültetem; felső ágaiból egy gyönge [ág]at szegek le, s elplántálom én magas és fölemelt hegyen.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon an high mountain and eminent:

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu: „Eu însumi voi lua o rămurea din vârful unui cedru mare şi o voi pune la pământ. Voi rupe din vârful ramurilor lui o mlădiţă fragedă şi o voi sădi pe un munte înalt şi ridicat.

Thus says the Lord GOD: “I myself will take a sprig from the lofty top of the cedar and will set it out. I will break off from the topmost of its young twigs a tender one, and I myself will plant it on a high and lofty mountain.

Izráel magas hegyén ültetem el, hogy ágat növesszen, és gyümölcsöt teremjen. Hatalmas cédrussá növekszik, hogy madarak lakjanak rajta. Lombjai árnyékában sokféle szárnyas fog lakni.

Izráel magasságos hegyén plántálom őt, és ágat nevel és gyümölcsöt terem s nagyságos czédrussá nevekedik, hogy lakjanak alatta, mindenféle szárnyas madarak ágainak árnyékában fognak lakozni.

In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell.

Şi anume, o voi sădi pe un munte înalt al lui Israel; ea va da lăstari, va aduce rod şi se va face un cedru măreţ. Păsări de tot felul se vor odihni sub el, tot ce are aripi se va odihni sub umbra ramurilor lui.

On the mountain height of Israel will I plant it, that it may bear branches and produce fruit and become a noble cedar. And under it will dwell every kind of bird; in the shade of its branches birds of every sort will nest.

És megtudja a mező minden fája, hogy én, az ÚR teszem a magas fát alacsonnyá, az alacsony fát pedig magassá. Én szárítom ki a zöldellő fát, és teszem zöldellővé a száraz fát. Én, az ÚR szóltam, és meg is cselekedtem.

És megismeri a mező minden fája, hogy én, az Úr tettem a magas fát alacsonynyá, az alacsony fát magassá; megszáraztottam a zöldelő fát, és zölddé tettem az asszú fát. Én, az Úr szólottam és megcselekedtem.

And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done it.

Şi toţi copacii de pe câmp vor şti că Eu, Domnul, am coborât copacul care se înălţa şi am înălţat copacul care era plecat; că Eu am uscat copacul cel verde şi am înverzit copacul cel uscat. Eu, Domnul, am vorbit şi voi şi face.”

And all the trees of the field shall know that I am the LORD; I bring low the high tree, and make high the low tree, dry up the green tree, and make the dry tree flourish. I am the LORD; I have spoken, and I will do it.”
