Akkor hangosan így kiáltott fülem hallatára: Elérkezett a városra a büntetés. Mindenkinek a kezében ott a pusztítás eszköze.

És kiáltá füleimbe nagy felszóval, mondván: Hozzátok el a városra a meglátogatásokat, kinek-kinek a kezében legyen vesztő eszköze.

He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.

Apoi a strigat cu glas tare la urechile mele: „Apropiaţi-vă, voi care trebuie să pedepsiţi cetatea, fiecare cu unealta lui de nimicire în mână!”

Then he cried in my ears with a loud voice, saying, “Bring near the executioners of the city, each with his destroying weapon in his hand.”

Íme, hat férfi jött a Felső-kapu útjáról, amely északra néz, mindegyiknek romboló eszköz volt a kezében; az egyik férfi közülük gyolcsba volt öltözve, és íróeszköz volt a derekán. Bementek, és odaálltak az rézoltár mellé.

És ímé hat férfi jő vala a felső kapu útjáról, a mely északra néz vala, mindeniknek kezében zúzó eszköze, egy férfi pedig köztük gyolcsba vala öltözve, és íróeszköz vala derekán. És bemenének és állának az érczoltár mellé.

And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.

Şi iată că au venit şase oameni de pe drumul porţii de sus, dinspre miazănoapte, fiecare cu unealta lui de nimicire în mână. În mijlocul lor era un om îmbrăcat într-o haină de in şi cu o călimară la brâu. Au venit şi s-au aşezat lângă altarul de aramă.

And behold, six men came from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, each with his weapon for slaughter in his hand, and with them was a man clothed in linen, with a writing case at his waist. And they went in and stood beside the bronze altar.

Ekkor Izráel Istenének dicsősége fölszállt a kerúbról, amely fölött volt, átment a templom küszöbére, és kiáltott a gyolcsba öltözött férfinak, akinek a derekán íróeszköz volt.

És Izráel Istenének dicsősége elvonula a Kérubról, a mely fölött vala, a ház küszöbéhez, és kiálta a gyolcsba öltözött férfiúnak, a kinek derekán íróeszköz vala.

And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side;

Slava Dumnezeului lui Israel s-a ridicat de pe heruvimul pe care era şi s-a îndreptat spre pragul Casei; şi el a chemat pe omul acela care era îmbrăcat cu haina de in şi care avea călimara la brâu.

Now the glory of the God of Israel had gone up from the cherub on which it rested to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed in linen, who had the writing case at his waist.

Azt mondta neki az ÚR: Menj át a város közepén, Jeruzsálem közepén, és tégy egy jelet minden férfi homlokára, aki sóhajt és nyög az utálatosságok miatt, amiket cselekszenek benne.

És monda az Úr néki: Menj át a város közepén, Jeruzsálem közepén, és jegyezz egy jegyet a férfiak homlokára, a kik sóhajtanak és nyögnek mindazokért az útálatosságokért, a melyeket cselekedtek annak közepében.

And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

Domnul i-a zis: „Treci prin mijlocul cetăţii, prin mijlocul Ierusalimului, şi fă un semn pe fruntea oamenilor care suspină şi gem din pricina tuturor urâciunilor care se săvârşesc acolo.”

And the LORD said to him, “Pass through the city, through Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan over all the abominations that are committed in it.”

A többieknek pedig azt mondta a fülem hallatára: Menjetek keresztül utána a városon, és vágjátok őket! Ne szánakozzon szemetek, és ne mutassatok kíméletet!

És amazoknak mondá az én hallásomra: Menjetek át a városon ő utána, és vágjátok; ne kedvezzen a ti szemetek, és ne szánakozzatok:

And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:

Iar celorlalţi le-a zis în auzul meu: „Treceţi după el în cetate şi loviţi; ochiul vostru să fie fără milă şi să nu vă înduraţi!

And to the others he said in my hearing, “Pass through the city after him, and strike. Your eye shall not spare, and you shall show no pity.

Öljetek meg mind egy szálig időset, ifjút, hajadont, gyermeket és asszonyokat, de azokhoz a férfiakhoz, akiken a jel van, ne közelítsetek! Az én szent helyemen kezdjétek el! Elkezdték hát az időseken, akik a templom előtt voltak.

Vénet, ifjat, szűzet, gyermeket és asszonyokat öljetek meg mind egy lábig, de azokhoz a férfiakhoz, a kiken a jegy van, ne közelítsetek, és az én templomomon kezdjétek el. Elkezdék azért a vén férfiakon, a kik a ház előtt valának.

Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

Ucideţi şi nimiciţi pe bătrâni, pe tineri, pe fecioare, pe copii şi pe femei; dar să nu vă atingeţi de niciunul din cei ce au semnul pe frunte! Începeţi însă cu Locaşul Meu cel Sfânt!” Ei au început cu bătrânii care erau înaintea Templului.

Kill old men outright, young men and maidens, little children and women, but touch no one on whom is the mark. And begin at my sanctuary.” So they began with the elders who were before the house.

Majd azt mondta nekik: Tegyétek tisztátalanná a templomot, és töltsétek meg az udvarokat a megöltekkel! Menjetek! Erre elmentek, és öldököltek a városban.

És mondá nékik: Fertőztessétek meg a házat, és töltsétek meg a pitvarokat megölettekkel. Menjetek ki. És kimenének és öldöklének a városban.

And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.

Şi El le-a zis: „Spurcaţi Casa şi umpleţi curţile cu morţi!… Ieşiţi…” Ei au ieşit şi au început să ucidă în cetate.

Then he said to them, “Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain. Go out.” So they went out and struck in the city.

Amíg ők öldököltek, én ott maradtam, arcra borultam, és így kiáltottam: Jaj, URam, Istenem, hát ki akarod irtani Izráel egész maradékát, amikor kiöntöd haragodat Jeruzsálemre?

És lőn, hogy levágák őket, és én megmaradtam és esém az én orczámra és kiálték és mondék: Ah, ah, Uram Isten, avagy ki akarod-é írtani Izráel egész maradékát, mikor kiöntöd búsulásodat Jeruzsálemre?

And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?

Pe când ucideau ei astfel, şi eu stăteam încă singur acolo, am căzut cu faţa la pământ şi am strigat: „Ah! Doamne Dumnezeule, vrei să nimiceşti oare tot ce a mai rămas din Israel, vărsându-Ţi urgia asupra Ierusalimului?”

And while they were striking, and I was left alone, I fell upon my face, and cried, “Ah, Lord GOD! Will you destroy all the remnant of Israel in the outpouring of your wrath on Jerusalem?”

Ő azonban azt mondta nekem: Izráel és Júda házának a bűne igen-igen nagy, mivel tele van a föld vérontással, és tele van a város igazságtalansággal, mert azt mondták: „Elhagyta az ÚR ezt a földet, és nem lát az ÚR.”

És mondá nékem: Izráel és Júda házának vétke felette nagy, mivelhogy tele a föld vérontással, és a város tele van igazságtalansággal, mert azt mondották: Elhagyta az Úr ezt a földet, és az Úr nem lát.

Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.

El mi-a răspuns: „Nelegiuirea casei lui Israel şi Iuda este mare, peste măsură de mare! Ţara este plină de omoruri, şi cetatea este plină de nedreptate; căci ei zic: „Domnul a părăsit ţara şi Domnul nu vede nimic!”

Then he said to me, “The guilt of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great. The land is full of blood, and the city full of injustice. For they say, ‘The LORD has forsaken the land, and the LORD does not see.’

Ezért az én szemem sem szánja őket, és nem kímélem őket, hanem fejükre olvasom útjaikat.

Azért én is (nem kedvez szemem, sem meg nem szánom őket) útjokat fejökhöz verem!

And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head.

De aceea şi Eu voi fi fără milă şi nu Mă voi îndura, ci voi face să cadă asupra capului lor faptele lor.”

As for me, my eye will not spare, nor will I have pity; I will bring their deeds upon their heads.”

És íme, a gyolcsba öltözött férfi, akinek íróeszköz volt az oldalán, ilyen választ hozott: Megtettem, amint parancsoltad.

És ímé a gyolcsba öltözött férfi, kinek íróeszköz vala derekán, választ hozott, mondván: Úgy cselekedtem, a mint parancsolád.

And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me.

Şi iată că omul cel îmbrăcat în haina de in şi care avea călimara la brâu a adus următorul răspuns: „Am făcut ce mi-ai poruncit!”

And behold, the man clothed in linen, with the writing case at his waist, brought back word, saying, “I have done as you commanded me.”
