A tizenegyedik esztendőben, a harmadik hónapban, a hónap első napján így szólt hozzám az ÚR szava:

És lőn a tizenegyedik esztendőben, a harmadik hónapban, a hónap elsején, lőn az Úr szava hozzám, mondván:

And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the third month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

În anul al unsprezecelea, în ziua întâi a lunii a treia, cuvântul Domnului mi-a vorbit astfel:

In the eleventh year, in the third month, on the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came to me:

Embernek fia! Szólj a fáraónak, Egyiptom királyának és az ő népének: „Kihez hasonlítasz nagyságodban?

Embernek fia! szólj a Faraónak, Égyiptom királyának és az ő sokaságának: Kihez vagy hasonló a te nagyságodban?

Son of man, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, and to his multitude; Whom art thou like in thy greatness?

„Fiul omului, spune lui faraon, împăratul Egiptului, şi mulţimii lui: „Cu cine te asemeni tu în mărimea ta?

“Son of man, say to Pharaoh king of Egypt and to his multitude: “Whom are you like in your greatness?

Íme, Asszíria cédrus volt a Libánonon, szép ágai és sűrű gallyai árnyékot tartottak. Magas növésű volt, a fellegekig ért a teteje.

Ímé, Assúr czédrus vala a Libánonon, szép ágakkal és sűrű galyaival árnyékot tartó s magas növésű, melynek felhőkig ért a teteje.

Behold, the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs.

Iată că asirianul era un cedru falnic în Liban; ramurile lui erau stufoase, frunzişul umbros, tulpina înaltă, iar vârful îi ajungea până la nori.

Behold, Assyria was a cedar in Lebanon, with beautiful branches and forest shade, and of towering height, its top among the clouds.

Víz növelte naggyá, a mélység vizei tették magassá, folyóik körbefogták a helyet, ahova ültették, és csak kis patakágaikat bocsátották a mező többi fájához.

Víz nevelte nagygyá, a mélység [vizei] tették magassá, folyóikkal körüljárták ültetése földjét, s [csak] folyásaikat bocsáták a mező egyéb fáihoz.

The waters made him great, the deep set him up on high with her rivers running round about his plants, and sent her little rivers unto all the trees of the field.

Apele îl făcuseră să crească, adâncul îl făcuse înalt, râurile lui îi scăldau răsadniţa şi îşi trimiteau pâraiele la toţi copacii de pe câmp.

The waters nourished it; the deep made it grow tall, making its rivers flow around the place of its planting, sending forth its streams to all the trees of the field.

Ezért lett magasabb növésű a mező minden fájánál. Sok ága lett, s hosszúra nőttek gallyai a sok víztől, amely felé kiterjesztette őket.

Ennekokáért lőn magasb növése a mező minden fájánál: s megsokasulának ágai, s hosszúra nevekedének galyai a sok víztől, midőn kiterjeszté azokat.

Therefore his height was exalted above all the trees of the field, and his boughs were multiplied, and his branches became long because of the multitude of waters, when he shot forth.

De aceea, tulpina lui se înălţa deasupra tuturor copacilor de pe câmp, crengile i se înmulţiseră şi ramurile i se întindeau de mulţimea apelor care-l făcuseră să dea lăstari.

So it towered high above all the trees of the field; its boughs grew large and its branches long from abundant water in its shoots.

Ágain rakott fészket minden égi madár, gallyai alatt kölykezett a mező minden vadja, és árnyékában sokféle nép lakott.

Az ő ágain csinál vala fészket minden égi madár, és galyai alatt fiadzott a mező minden vada, s árnyékában lakik vala sokmindenféle nép.

All the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelt all great nations.

Toate păsările cerului îşi făceau cuiburi în crengile lui, toate fiarele câmpului fătau sub ramurile lui şi tot felul de neamuri multe locuiau sub umbra lui.

All the birds of the heavens made their nests in its boughs; under its branches all the beasts of the field gave birth to their young, and under its shadow lived all great nations.

Magassága és hosszan kinyúló ágai széppé tették, mert gyökerei bőséges vízig hatoltak.

És széppé lőn magasságával, hosszan kiterjedt ágaival, mert gyökere sok víz felé [nyúlik] vala.

Thus was he fair in his greatness, in the length of his branches: for his root was by great waters.

Era frumos prin mărimea lui, prin întinderea ramurilor lui; căci rădăcinile îi erau înfipte în ape mari.

It was beautiful in its greatness, in the length of its branches; for its roots went down to abundant waters.

A cédrusok nem takarhatták el őt Isten kertjében, a ciprusoknak sem voltak hozzá hasonlók az ágai, és a platánoknak sem voltak olyan gallyai, mint neki. Isten kertjében egy fa sem hasonlított hozzá szépségben.

A czédrusok el nem takarák őt az Isten kertjében, a cziprusok nem valának hasonlók ágaihoz, s a platánoknak nem valának olyan galyai, mint néki; Isten kertjében egy fa sem vala hasonló hozzá az ő szépségében.

The cedars in the garden of God could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chestnut trees were not like his branches; nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty.

Cedrii din grădina lui Dumnezeu nu-l întreceau, chiparoşii nu erau de asemuit cu crengile lui, şi platanii nu erau ca ramurile lui; niciun copac din grădina lui Dumnezeu nu era ca el în frumuseţe.

The cedars in the garden of God could not rival it, nor the fir trees equal its boughs; neither were the plane trees like its branches; no tree in the garden of God was its equal in beauty.

Széppé tettem őt sok ágával, úgyhogy irigykedett rá az Éden minden fája Isten kertjében.

Széppé tőm őt az ő sok ágaival, úgy hogy irígykedett rá Éden minden fája az Isten kertjében.

I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him.

Îl făcusem atât de frumos prin mulţimea crăcilor lui, că-l pizmuiau toţi copacii Edenului, care se aflau în grădina lui Dumnezeu.”

I made it beautiful in the mass of its branches, and all the trees of Eden envied it, that were in the garden of God.

Ezért így szól az én Uram, az ÚR: Mivel magasra nőtt, koronája a felhők közé nyúlt, és szíve fölfuvalkodott, mivel magas lett,

Ennekokáért így szól az Úr Isten: Mivelhogy magasra nevekedtél, és fölemelé tetejét a felhők közé, és szíve felfuvalkodott az ő magasságában:

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast lifted up thyself in height, and he hath shot up his top among the thick boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height;

De aceea, aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu: „Pentru că avea o tulpină aşa de înaltă, pentru că îşi înălţa vârful până la nori şi inima i se mândrea cu înălţimea lui,

“Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Because it towered high and set its top among the clouds, and its heart was proud of its height,

ezért a nemzetek leghatalmasabbjának kezébe adtam őt, hogy bánjék el vele, gonoszsága miatt elűztem őt.

Azért adom őt a nemzetek urának kezébe, bánjék el vele, gonoszságáért kiűztem őt.

I have therefore delivered him into the hand of the mighty one of the heathen; he shall surely deal with him: I have driven him out for his wickedness.

l-am dat în mâinile viteazului neamurilor, care-i va face după răutatea lui; căci l-am izgonit.

I will give it into the hand of a mighty one of the nations. He shall surely deal with it as its wickedness deserves. I have cast it out.

Kivágták az idegenek, ledöntötték a nemzetek legkegyetlenebbjei. A hegyekre és a völgyekbe hullottak ágai, összetörtek gallyai a föld minden patakmedrében, és kijött árnyéka alól a föld valamennyi népe, és otthagyták.

És kivágták őt az idegenek, a nemzetek legkegyetlenebbjei, és leterítették. A hegyekre és minden völgyekbe hullottak ágai, és összetörtek galyai a föld minden mélységében, és leszállt árnyékából a föld minden népe, és ott hagyták őt.

And strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him: upon the mountains and in all the valleys his branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him.

Străinii, cele mai grozave popoare, l-au tăiat şi l-au lepădat. Crengile i-au căzut în munţi şi în toate văile. Ramurile i s-au sfărâmat în toate puhoaiele ţării; şi toate popoarele pământului au plecat de la umbra lui şi l-au părăsit.

Foreigners, the most ruthless of nations, have cut it down and left it. On the mountains and in all the valleys its branches have fallen, and its boughs have been broken in all the ravines of the land, and all the peoples of the earth have gone away from its shadow and left it.

Ledőlt törzsén sokféle égi madár lakik, és ágaihoz gyűlik a mező minden vadja.

Ledőlt törzsökén lakik vala minden égi madár, és ágaihoz [gyül ]vala a mező minden vada;

Upon his ruin shall all the fowls of the heaven remain, and all the beasts of the field shall be upon his branches:

Pe sfărâmăturile lui au venit şi s-au aşezat toate păsările cerului, şi toate fiarele câmpului şi-au făcut culcuşul între ramurile lui,

On its fallen trunk dwell all the birds of the heavens, and on its branches are all the beasts of the field.

Azért ne nőjön magasra egyetlen víz mellett lévő fa se, és ne emelje koronáját a felhők közé! Ne bízzon senki kevélyen önmagában, ha táplálja is a víz, mert mindenki halálra jut, a föld mélységébe, ugyanúgy, mint a többi ember, akik a sírba szálltak.

Azért, hogy magasra ne nevekedjék egy víz mellett való fa se, és föl ne emelje tetejét a felhők közé; hogy ne bízzék önmagában kevélyen senki a vízivók közül; mert mindnyájan halálra adattak a mélység országába az emberek fiai közt azokhoz, a kik sírgödörbe szálltak.

To the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves for their height, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees stand up in their height, all that drink water: for they are all delivered unto death, to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit.

ca să nu se mai îngâmfe niciunul din copacii de lângă ape cu înălţimea lor şi să nu-şi mai ridice vârful până în nori, ca să nu se mai fălească stejarii udaţi de apă cu înălţimea lor; căci toţi sunt daţi pradă morţii, în adâncimile pământului, printre copiii oamenilor, împreună cu cei ce se coboară în groapă.”

All this is in order that no trees by the waters may grow to towering height or set their tops among the clouds, and that no trees that drink water may reach up to them in height. For they are all given over to death, to the world below, among the children of man, with those who go down to the pit.

Így szól az én Uram, az ÚR: Azon a napon, amelyen leszállt a Seolba, gyászba öltöztettem miatta a mélység vizeit, és gátat vetettem folyóinak, és elzártam a sok vizet. Gyászba borítottam miatta a Libánont, a mező minden fája elepedt miatta.

Így szól az Úr Isten: Azon a napon, a melyen sírba aláméne, gyászba öltöztetém miatta a mélység vizeit, és megtartóztatám folyóikat, úgy hogy a sok víz elzáraték, s meggyászoltatám őt a Libánonnal, és a mező minden fája elepede miatta.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu: „În ziua când s-a coborât în Locuinţa morţilor, am răspândit jalea, am acoperit Adâncul din pricina lui şi i-am oprit râurile; apele cele mari au fost oprite; am întristat Libanul pentru el, şi toţi copacii de pe câmp s-au uscat.

“Thus says the Lord GOD: On the day the cedar went down to Sheol I caused mourning; I closed the deep over it, and restrained its rivers, and many waters were stopped. I clothed Lebanon in gloom for it, and all the trees of the field fainted because of it.

Zuhanásának hangjával megrendítettem a nemzeteket, amikor a Seolba taszítottam őt a többiekkel együtt, akik a sírba szállnak. És vigasztalást nyert a föld mélységében az Éden minden fája, a Libánon válogatott szépsége, mind, amit víz táplált.

Zuhanásának hangja miatt megreszkettetém a nemzeteket, mikor leszállítám őt a sírba együtt velök, kik sírgödörbe szállnak; és vígasztalást vőn a mélység országában Éden minden fája, a Libánon szépsége és java, minden vízivó.

I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth.

De vuietul căderii lui am făcut să se cutremure neamurile, când l-am aruncat în Locuinţa morţilor împreună cu cei ce se coboară în groapă, şi s-au mângâiat în adâncimile pământului toţi copacii Edenului, cei mai frumoşi şi cei mai buni copaci din Liban, toţi cei udaţi de ape.

I made the nations quake at the sound of its fall, when I cast it down to Sheol with those who go down to the pit. And all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, were comforted in the world below.

Mert ezek is leszálltak vele a sírba azokhoz, akiket fegyverrel öltek meg, segítőivel együtt, akik az ő árnyékában ültek a nemzetek között.

Ezek is alászállottak vele a sírba azokhoz, a kik fegyverrel ölettek meg, s a kik mint segítőtársai árnyékában ülének a nemzetek között.

They also went down into hell with him unto them that be slain with the sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen.

S-au coborât şi ei cu el în Locuinţa morţilor la cei ce au pierit ucişi de sabie, ei, care erau braţul lui şi locuiau la umbra lui printre neamuri.

They also went down to Sheol with it, to those who are slain by the sword; yes, those who were its arm, who lived under its shadow among the nations.

Kihez vagy hát hasonló dicsőségben és nagyságban Éden fái között? Hiszen le kell szállnod Éden fáival együtt a föld mélységébe! Körülmetéletlenek között fogsz feküdni azokkal együtt, akiket fegyver ölt meg. Így jár a fáraó és minden sokasága – ezt mondja az én Uram, az ÚR.”

Kihez vagy hát hasonló dicsőségben és nagyságban Éden fái közt!? Hiszen le fogsz szállíttatni Éden fáival a mélység országába; körülmetéletlenek közt feküszöl együtt a fegyverrel megölettekkel. A Faraó ez és minden sokasága, ezt mondja az Úr Isten.

To whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.

Cu cine poţi fi asemuit tu în slavă şi în mărime între copacii Edenului? Totuşi vei fi aruncat împreună cu copacii Edenului în adâncimile pământului şi vei fi culcat în mijlocul celor netăiaţi împrejur, împreună cu cei ce au pierit ucişi de sabie. Iată ce este faraon şi toată mulţimea lui, zice Domnul Dumnezeu.”

“Whom are you thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? You shall be brought down with the trees of Eden to the world below. You shall lie among the uncircumcised, with those who are slain by the sword. “This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, declares the Lord GOD.”
