Te pedig kezdj gyászéneket Izráel fejedelmeiről.

Moreover take thou up a lamentation for the princes of Israel,

„Tu însă fă o plângere asupra domnului lui Israel

And you, take up a lamentation for the princes of Israel,

Ezt mondd: Mi volt anyád? Nőstény oroszlán, oroszlánok között feküdt, fiatal oroszlánok között nevelte föl kölykeit.

És mondjad: Mi volt anyád? Nőstény oroszlán; oroszlánok közt fekszik vala, fiatal oroszlánok között nevelé fel kölykeit.

And say, What is thy mother? A lioness: she lay down among lions, she nourished her whelps among young lions.

şi zi: „Ce era mama ta? O leoaică. Stătea culcată cu leii şi îşi creştea puii în mijlocul puilor de lei.

and say: What was your mother? A lioness! Among lions she crouched; in the midst of young lions she reared her cubs.

Fölnevelte az egyik kölykét, és az ifjú oroszlánná lett. Megtanult zsákmányt szerezni, és embereket evett.

És fölnevele egyet kölykei közül; fiatal oroszlánná lőn, és megtanula ragadományt ragadozni, embereket evett.

And she brought up one of her whelps: it became a young lion, and it learned to catch the prey; it devoured men.

A crescut pe unul din puii ei, care s-a făcut un leuţ, a învăţat să sfâşie prada; şi a mâncat oameni.

And she brought up one of her cubs; he became a young lion, and he learned to catch prey; he devoured men.

De meghallották róla ezt a népek, foglyul ejtették vermükben, és láncon vitték őt Egyiptom földjére.

És meghallák ezt róla a népek; vermökben megfogaték, és elvivék őt horgokon Égyiptom földjére.

The nations also heard of him; he was taken in their pit, and they brought him with chains unto the land of Egypt.

Neamurile au făcut o prinsoare împotriva lui, şi a fost prins în groapa lor; i-au pus un belciug în nări şi l-au dus în ţara Egiptului.

The nations heard about him; he was caught in their pit, and they brought him with hooks to the land of Egypt.

Amikor anyja látta, hogy késik, odaveszett a reménysége, fogott egy másikat a kölykei közül, és azt nevelte ifjú oroszlánná.

És mikor látta, hogy késik, hogy oda veszett reménysége, vőn egyet kölykei közül, ezt tevé fiatal oroszlánná.

Now when she saw that she had waited, and her hope was lost, then she took another of her whelps, and made him a young lion.

Leoaica, dacă a văzut că degeaba îl aştepta şi că s-a înşelat în nădejdea ei, a luat un alt pui şi l-a făcut leuţ.

When she saw that she waited in vain, that her hope was lost, she took another of her cubs and made him a young lion.

Ez járt-kelt az oroszlánok között, ifjú oroszlánná lett, megtanult zsákmányt szerezni, és embereket evett.

És ez jár vala az oroszlánok között, fiatal oroszlánná lőn, és megtanula ragadományt ragadozni, embereket evett.

And he went up and down among the lions, he became a young lion, and learned to catch the prey, and devoured men.

El a umblat cu leii, s-a făcut leuţ, a învăţat să sfâşie prada şi a mâncat oameni.

He prowled among the lions; he became a young lion, and he learned to catch prey; he devoured men,

Lerombolta palotáikat, elpusztította városaikat, és megrettent az ország minden lakója ordításának hangjától.

És ismeré az ő özvegyeiket s városaikat elpusztítá, és megrettene a föld és annak teljessége, ordítása hangjától.

And he knew their desolate palaces, and he laid waste their cities; and the land was desolate, and the fulness thereof, by the noise of his roaring.

A năvălit în palatele lor şi le-a nimicit cetăţile; aşa că ţara, cu tot ce se afla în ea, s-a îngrozit de mugetul răcnetelor lui.

and seized their widows. He laid waste their cities, and the land was appalled and all who were in it at the sound of his roaring.

Akkor szembeszálltak vele a körötte lévő tartományok népei, kivetették rá hálójukat, és foglyul ejtették vermükben.

És veték ellene a pogányok köröskörül a tartományokból és kiteríték reá hálójukat, vermökben megfogaték;

Then the nations set against him on every side from the provinces, and spread their net over him: he was taken in their pit.

Dar împotriva lui s-au înşiruit neamurile din toate ţinuturile dimprejur. I-au întins laţuri, şi a fost prins în groapa lor.

Then the nations set against him from provinces on every side; they spread their net over him; he was taken in their pit.

Láncra verve ketrecbe vetették, és elvitték Babilón királyához. Börtönbe vetették, hogy ne hallják többé a hangját Izráel hegyein.

És veték őt ketreczbe horgokon, s elvivék őt Babilon királyához, elvivék őt várakba, hogy többé ne hallassék szava Izráel hegyein.

And they put him in ward in chains, and brought him to the king of Babylon: they brought him into holds, that his voice should no more be heard upon the mountains of Israel.

I-au pus un belciug în nări, l-au pus într-o cuşcă şi l-au dus la împăratul Babilonului, apoi l-au dus într-o cetăţuie ca să nu i se mai audă glasul pe munţii lui Israel. –

With hooks they put him in a cage and brought him to the king of Babylon; they brought him into custody, that his voice should no more be heard on the mountains of Israel.

Anyád olyan volt szőlőskertedben, mint a víz mellé ültetett szőlőtő, terméssel és vesszővel bővelkedett a sok víztől.

Anyád a te nyugalmadban olyan vala, mint a víz mellé ültetett szőlőtő, gyümölcscsel és vesszővel bővelkedik vala a sok víztől.

Thy mother is like a vine in thy blood, planted by the waters: she was fruitful and full of branches by reason of many waters.

Mama ta, ca şi tine, era ca o vie sădită lângă ape. Era roditoare şi încărcată de mlădiţe din pricina belşugului apelor.

Your mother was like a vine in a vineyard planted by the water, fruitful and full of branches by reason of abundant water.

Erős vesszői nőttek, uralkodói pálcának valók. Nagyon magas volt, a lombok fölé emelkedett, és kitűnt magasságával és vesszőinek sokaságával.

És lőnek néki erős vesszei, uralkodók pálczáinak valók, és nagy vala magassága a sűrűség között és felett, és kitetszék magasságával és vesszeinek sokaságával.

And she had strong rods for the sceptres of them that bare rule, and her stature was exalted among the thick branches, and she appeared in her height with the multitude of her branches.

Ramurile ei erau aşa de tari că se puteau face toiege de cârmuitori din ele; prin înălţimea ei întrecea ramurile stufoase şi atrăgea privirile cu înălţimea ei şi prin mulţimea mlădiţelor ei.

Its strong stems became rulers’ scepters; it towered aloft among the thick boughs; it was seen in its height with the mass of its branches.

De a harag kiszaggatta, földre vetette, és a keleti szél leszárította gyümölcsét. Erős vesszői letörtek és elszáradtak, tűz emésztette meg őket.

De kiszaggattaték [Isten] haragja által, a földre vetteték, és a napkeleti szél elszárasztá gyümölcsét; letöretének és elszáradának erős ágai; tűz emészté meg.

But she was plucked up in fury, she was cast down to the ground, and the east wind dried up her fruit: her strong rods were broken and withered; the fire consumed them.

Dar a fost smulsă cu mânie şi aruncată la pământ; vântul de răsărit i-a uscat rodul; mlădiţele ei cele puternice au fost rupte, s-au uscat şi le-a mâncat focul.

But the vine was plucked up in fury, cast down to the ground; the east wind dried up its fruit; they were stripped off and withered. As for its strong stem, fire consumed it.

Most a pusztába van ültetve, száraz és szomjas földbe.

És most a pusztában plántáltatott, száraz és szomjú földön.

And now she is planted in the wilderness, in a dry and thirsty ground.

Şi acum este sădită în pustiu, într-un pământ uscat şi fără apă.

Now it is planted in the wilderness, in a dry and thirsty land.

Tűz csapott ki egyik vesszejéből, megemésztette ágait és gyümölcsét. Nincs rajta többé erős vessző, nincs uralkodásra való pálca! Siratóének ez, siratóének lett.

És tűz jött ki ágainak egyik vesszejéből, gyümölcsét megemészté, és nincs [többé] rajta erős vessző, nincs pálcza az uralkodásra! Gyászének ez és gyászének lesz.

And fire is gone out of a rod of her branches, which hath devoured her fruit, so that she hath no strong rod to be a sceptre to rule. This is a lamentation, and shall be for a lamentation.

Din mlădiţele ei a ieşit foc, şi i-a mâncat rodul; aşa că nu mai are ramuri tari, bune pentru un toiag de cârmuitor. Aceasta-i o cântare de jale şi va sluji drept cântare de jale.”

And fire has gone out from the stem of its shoots, has consumed its fruit, so that there remains in it no strong stem, no scepter for ruling. This is a lamentation and has become a lamentation.
