Az ÚR beszéde így szólt hozzám:

És lőn az Úr beszéde hozzám, mondván:

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Cuvântul Domnului mi-a vorbit astfel:

The word of the LORD came to me:

Embernek fia – így szól az én Uram, az ÚR –, vége van Izráel földjének! Eljött a vég a föld négy sarkára!

És te, embernek fia, így szól az Úr Isten Izráel földjének: Vége! eljött a vég a föld négy szárnyára!

Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.

„Şi tu, fiul omului, ascultă: Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu despre ţara lui Israel: „Vine sfârşitul, vine sfârşitul peste cele patru margini ale ţării!

“And you, O son of man, thus says the Lord GOD to the land of Israel: An end! The end has come upon the four corners of the land.

Immár itt a vég rajtad! Rád bocsátom haragomat, útjaid szerint ítéllek meg, és meglakolsz minden utálatosságért.

Immár itt a vég rajtad; s bocsátom haragomat reád, és megítéllek útaid szerint, és vetem reád minden útálatosságodat.

Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations.

Acum vine sfârşitul peste tine; Îmi voi trimite mânia împotriva ta, te voi judeca după faptele tale. Şi te voi pedepsi pentru toate urâciunile tale.

Now the end is upon you, and I will send my anger upon you; I will judge you according to your ways, and I will punish you for all your abominations.

Nem szánakozik rajtad a szemem, és nem kíméllek, hanem útjaid szerint fizetek neked, mert utálatosságaid közöttetek vannak. Akkor majd megtudjátok, hogy én vagyok az ÚR!

És nem kedvez az én szemem néked, sem meg nem szánlak; hanem a te útaidat vetem reád, és útálatosságaid közötted lesznek és megtudjátok, hogy én vagyok az Úr.

And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

Ochiul Meu va fi fără milă pentru tine şi nu Mă voi îndura, ci te voi pedepsi după faptele tale, cu toate că urâciunile tale vor fi în mijlocul tău şi ar trebui să te ajute. Şi veţi şti că Eu sunt Domnul.”

And my eye will not spare you, nor will I have pity, but I will punish you for your ways, while your abominations are in your midst. Then you will know that I am the LORD.

Így szól az én Uram, az ÚR: Íme, eljön, és veszedelem veszedelmet ér.

Így szól az Úr Isten: Ímé veszedelem, egyetlen veszedelem; ímé eljött.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come.

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu: „Iată, vine o nenorocire, o nenorocire nemaipomenită!

“Thus says the Lord GOD: Disaster after disaster! Behold, it comes.

Jön a vég, eljön a vég! Ellened támad, íme, jön már!

Vég jött, eljött a vég, fölserkent ellened, ímé eljött!

An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.

Vine sfârşitul, vine sfârşitul; se trezeşte împotriva ta! Iată că a şi venit!

An end has come; the end has come; it has awakened against you. Behold, it comes.

Eljön a végzet rátok, földnek lakói! Eljön az idő, közel a nap, amelyen rémület lesz a hegyeken, nem pedig víg éneklés.

Eljött a végzet reád, földnek lakosa! eljött az idő, közel a nap, rémülés és nem víg éneklés a hegyeken.

The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.

Îţi vine rândul, locuitor al ţării! Vine vremea, se apropie ziua de necaz şi nu de bucurie pe munţi!

Your doom has come to you, O inhabitant of the land. The time has come; the day is near, a day of tumult, and not of joyful shouting on the mountains.

Most már rövid időn belül kiöntöm rád izzó haragomat, és bevégzem rajtad fölindulásomat. Útjaid szerint ítéllek meg, és meglakolsz minden utálatosságodért.

Most rövid időn kiöntöm búsulásomat reád, és teljessé teszem haragomat rajtad, és megítéllek útaid szerint, és rád vetem minden útálatosságodat.

Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations.

Acum Îmi voi vărsa în curând urgia peste tine, Îmi voi potoli mânia peste tine; te voi judeca după faptele tale şi te voi pedepsi pentru toate minciunile tale.

Now I will soon pour out my wrath upon you, and spend my anger against you, and judge you according to your ways, and I will punish you for all your abominations.

Nem szánakozik rajtad a szemem, és nem kíméllek, hanem útjaid szerint fizetek neked, mert utálatosságaid közöttetek vannak. Akkor majd megtudjátok, hogy én vagyok az ÚR, aki lesújtok.

És nem kedvez az én szemem, sem meg nem szánlak; útaid szerint fizetek tenéked, és a te útálatosságaid közötted lesznek; és megtudjátok, hogy én vagyok az Úr, a ki ver.

And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smiteth.

Ochiul Meu va fi fără milă şi nu Mă voi îndura; te voi pedepsi după faptele tale, măcar că urâciunile tale vor fi în mijlocul tău şi ar trebui să te ajute. Şi veţi şti că Eu sunt Domnul, cel ce loveşte!

And my eye will not spare, nor will I have pity. I will punish you according to your ways, while your abominations are in your midst. Then you will know that I am the LORD, who strikes.

Íme, itt a nap, íme, eljött! Kisarjadt a végzet, kivirágzott a vessző, kivirult a kevélység.

Ímé a nap, ímé eljött, kisarjadt a végzet, kivirágzott a vessző, kivirult a kevélység.

Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded.

Iată ziua! Iat-o că vine! Îţi vine rândul! Înfloreşte toiagul, odrăsleşte mândria!

“Behold, the day! Behold, it comes! Your doom has come; the rod has blossomed; pride has budded.

Az erőszakosság a gonoszság vesszejévé nőtt föl, nem marad meg belőlük semmi: sem sokaságukból, sem gazdagságukból, sem előkelőikből!

Az erőszakosság a gonoszság veszszejévé nőtt fel, nincs semmi meg belőlök, sem sokaságukból, sem tömegökből, s nincs egy jaj is miattok!

Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of their's: neither shall there be wailing for them.

Silnicia s-a înălţat ca să slujească de toiag răutăţii; nu mai rămâne nimic din ei, nici din gloata lor gălăgioasă, nici din bogăţia lor! Şi nimeni nu-i boceşte!

Violence has grown up into a rod of wickedness. None of them shall remain, nor their abundance, nor their wealth; neither shall there be preeminence among them.

Eljött az idő, elközelgett a nap! A vevő ne örüljön, az eladó ne szomorkodjék, mert harag jön az egész sokaságára.

Eljött az idő, elközelgett a nap; a vevő ne örüljön, az eladó ne szomorkodjék, mert harag [jön] minden sokaságára.

The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.

Vine vremea, se apropie ziua! Să nu se bucure cumpărătorul, să nu se mâhnească vânzătorul! Căci izbucneşte mânia împotriva întregii lor mulţimi.

The time has come; the day has arrived. Let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn, for wrath is upon all their multitude.

Az eladó nem veheti vissza többé az eladott jószágot, még ha élve maradna is, mert visszavonhatatlan a jövendölés, amely mindnyájuk ellen szól. Mert vétke miatt senki sem lehet hosszú életű.

Mert az eladó eladott jószágához nem térhet vissza többé, még ha élve az élők közt [maradna] is, mert a jövendölés az ő egész sokasága ellen vissza nem tér, és vétke miatt senki sem lehet hosszú életű.

For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.

Nu, vânzătorul nu va mai căpăta înapoi ce a vândut, chiar dacă ar mai fi printre cei vii; căci prorocia împotriva întregii lor mulţimi nu va fi schimbată, şi din pricina nelegiuirii lui niciunul nu-şi va păstra viaţa.

For the seller shall not return to what he has sold, while they live. For the vision concerns all their multitude; it shall not turn back; and because of his iniquity, none can maintain his life.

Kürtöljetek a kürttel, és készítsetek el mindent, ám senki sem lesz, aki harcba menjen, mert haragom mindnyájuk ellen feltámadt.

Kürtöljetek a kürttel és készítsetek el mindent; ám nincsen, a ki harczra menjen, mert haragom minden ő sokasága ellen.

They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.

Sună trâmbiţa, totul este gata, dar nimeni nu merge la luptă; căci urgia Mea izbucneşte împotriva întregii lor mulţimi.

“They have blown the trumpet and made everything ready, but none goes to battle, for my wrath is upon all their multitude.

Kívül fegyver, belül dögvész és éhínség. Aki a mezőn van, fegyvertől hal meg, aki a városban, azt éhínség és dögvész emészti meg.

A fegyver kivül, a döghalál és éhség belül; a ki a mezőn van, fegyver miatt hal meg, és a ki a városban, azt éhség és döghalál emészti meg.

The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.

Afară bântuie sabia, în casă ciuma şi foametea! Cine este la câmp va muri de sabie, iar cine este în cetate va fi mâncat de foamete şi ciumă.

The sword is without; pestilence and famine are within. He who is in the field dies by the sword, and him who is in the city famine and pestilence devour.

Ha lesznek is túlélők, akik megmenekülnek, olyanok lesznek, mint a völgyek galambjai a hegyeken: mindnyájan nyögnek, mindenki a maga vétke miatt.

És menekülnek menekültjeik, és lesznek a hegyeken, mint a völgyek galambjai: mindnyájan nyögvén, kiki vétke miatt.

But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.

Fugarii lor, când scapă, stau pe munţi ca nişte porumbei ai văilor, văitându-se toţi, fiecare de nelegiuirea lui.

And if any survivors escape, they will be on the mountains, like doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, each one over his iniquity.

Minden kéz elerőtlenedik, és minden térd elnehezül, mint a víz.

Minden kéz elerőtlenül, és minden térd elolvad, mint a víz.

All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.

Mâinile tuturor au slăbit, şi genunchii tuturor se topesc ca apa.

All hands are feeble, and all knees turn to water.

Zsákruhát öltenek magukra, és rettegés lepi el őket. Minden arcon szégyenpír lesz és mindnyájuk fején kopaszság.

Felövezkednek zsákkal, és befedi őket rettegés, és minden orczán szégyen, és mindnyájok fején kopaszság.

They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.

Se încing cu saci şi-i apucă groaza. Toate feţele sunt acoperite de ruşine şi toate capetele sunt rase.

They put on sackcloth, and horror covers them. Shame is on all faces, and baldness on all their heads.

Ezüstjüket az utcára szórják, és aranyuk szennyé válik. Ezüstjük és aranyuk nem szabadíthatja meg őket az ÚR izzó haragjának napján. Lelküket nem lakathatják jól, és hasukat sem tölthetik meg vele, mert az csak vétekre csábította őket.

Ezüstjöket az utczákra vetik, és aranyuk szenny lesz [előttök;] ezüstjök s aranyuk meg nem szabadíthatja őket az Úr búsulásának napján; lelköket azzal jól nem lakatják, s hasokat meg nem tölthetik; mert csábítójok volt az a vétekre.

They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.

Îşi vor arunca argintul pe uliţe, şi aurul lor le va fi o scârbă. Argintul sau aurul lor nu poate să-i scape în ziua urgiei Domnului; nu poate nici să le sature sufletul, nici să le umple măruntaiele; căci el i-a aruncat în nelegiuirea lor.

They cast their silver into the streets, and their gold is like an unclean thing. Their silver and gold are not able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD. They cannot satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs with it. For it was the stumbling block of their iniquity.

A drága ékszereket kevélykedésre használták, és utálatos bálványképeket, undokságokat készítettek belőlük, ezért tettem azt szennyé számukra.

És a belőle készült drága ékességeket kevélykedésre használják, és útálatosságuk képeit, undokságaikat abból csinálták, azért tettem előttök azt szenynyé;

As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations and of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them.

Se făleau cu podoaba lor măreaţă, şi cu ea au făcut icoanele urâciunilor lor, ale idolilor lor. De aceea le-o voi preface în scârbă pentru ei.

His beautiful ornament they used for pride, and they made their abominable images and their detestable things of it. Therefore I make it an unclean thing to them.

Zsákmányul adom idegenek kezébe és prédául a föld hitetlenjeinek, hadd tegyék tisztátalanná.

És adom azt az idegenek kezébe zsákmányul, és a föld hitetleninek prédául, hadd fertéztessék meg.

And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it.

O voi da de jaf în mâinile străinilor şi ca pradă nelegiuiţilor pământului ca s-o pângărească.

And I will give it into the hands of foreigners for prey, and to the wicked of the earth for spoil, and they shall profane it.

Elfordítom tőlük az arcomat, hadd tegyék tisztátalanná szent helyemet. Rombolók törnek be oda, és tisztátalanná teszik azt.

És elfordítom tőlük arczomat, hadd fertéztessék meg szent helyemet; s betörjenek belé a rontók és megfertéztessék.

My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.

Îmi voi întoarce faţa de la ei şi Mi se va pângări Locaşul Meu cel Sfânt; da, prădătorii vor pătrunde în el şi-l vor pângări.

I will turn my face from them, and they shall profane my treasured place. Robbers shall enter and profane it.

Készítsd a láncot, mert a föld tele van vérontással, és a város tele van erőszakossággal.

Készítsd a lánczot; mert a föld tele van véres ítélettel, és a város tele van erőszakossággal.

Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.

Pregătiţi lanţurile! Căci ţara este plină de omoruri, şi cetatea este plină de silnicie.

“Forge a chain! For the land is full of bloody crimes and the city is full of violence.

Elhozom a népek leggonoszabbjait, hadd foglalják el házaikat. Véget vetek a hatalmasok kevélységének, s tisztátalanná teszik a szent helyeket.

És elhozom a pogányok leggonoszabbjait, hadd foglalják el házaikat; s véget vetek a hatalmasok kevélységének, s fertézett lesz templomuk.

Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled.

Voi aduce popoarele cele mai rele ca să pună mâna pe casele lor; voi pune capăt mândriei celor puternici, şi sfintele lor locaşuri vor fi pângărite.

I will bring the worst of the nations to take possession of their houses. I will put an end to the pride of the strong, and their holy places shall be profaned.

Rettegés jön el, és békét keresnek, de nincs.

Rettegés jött el, s keresnek békét és nincs.

Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.

Vine prăpădul! – Ei caută scăpare, dar scăpare nu-i!

When anguish comes, they will seek peace, but there shall be none.

Egyik romlás a másikat éri, és egyik hír után másik támad. Látást keresnek a prófétánál, de hiába. Eltávozik a törvény a paptól és a tanács a vénektől.

Egy romlás a másikra jő, és egy hír után más támad, s kérnek látást a prófétától, ám törvény nem lesz a papnál, sem tanács a véneknél.

Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.

Vine nenorocire peste nenorocire, zvon după zvon. – Ei cer vedenii prorocilor; dar preoţii nu mai cunosc Legea, şi bătrânii nu mai pot da sfaturi.

Disaster comes upon disaster; rumor follows rumor. They seek a vision from the prophet, while the law perishes from the priest and counsel from the elders.

A király gyászol, a fejedelem irtózatba öltözik, és a föld népének kezei megdermednek. Útjuk szerint cselekszem velük, a maguk ítélete szerint ítélem meg őket, hadd tudják meg, hogy én vagyok az ÚR!

A király szomorkodik, a fejedelem irtózatba öltözik; s a föld népének kezei megdermednek. Útjok szerint cselekszem velök, ítéletök szerint ítélem meg őket, hadd tudják meg, hogy én vagyok az Úr.

The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

Împăratul jeleşte, voievodul se înspăimântă, şi mâinile poporului ţării tremură. Le voi face după umbletele lor, îi voi judeca după cuviinţă, şi vor şti că Eu sunt Domnul.”

The king mourns, the prince is wrapped in despair, and the hands of the people of the land are paralyzed by terror. According to their way I will do to them, and according to their judgments I will judge them, and they shall know that I am the LORD.”
