Majd férfiak jöttek hozzám Izráel vénei közül, és leültek előttem.

És jövének hozzám férfiak Izráel vénei közül, és leülének én előttem.

Then came certain of the elders of Israel unto me, and sat before me.

Câţiva din bătrânii lui Israel au venit la mine şi au şezut înaintea mea.

Then certain of the elders of Israel came to me and sat before me.

Akkor így szólt hozzám az ÚR szava:

És lőn az Úrnak beszéde hozzám, mondván:

And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Şi cuvântul Domnului mi-a vorbit astfel:

And the word of the LORD came to me:

Embernek fia! Ezek a férfiak szívükbe fogadták a bálványokat, és maguk elé állították azt, ami bűnös botlásukat okozta. Vajon engedjem-e, hogy megkérdezzenek engem?

Embernek fia! Ezek a férfiak fölvették bálványaikat szívökbe, és vétkeik botránkozását orczáik elé állították. Vajjon engedjem-é, hogy megkérdezzenek engem?

Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them?

„Fiul omului, oamenii aceştia îşi poartă idolii în inimă şi îşi pironesc privirile spre ceea ce i-a făcut să cadă în nelegiuire! Să Mă las Eu să fiu întrebat de ei?

“Son of man, these men have taken their idols into their hearts, and set the stumbling block of their iniquity before their faces. Should I indeed let myself be consulted by them?

Ezért beszélj velük, és mondd meg nekik: Azt mondja az én Uram, az ÚR: „Aki Izráel házából szívébe fogadja a bálványait, és bűne botlását maga elé állítja, és úgy megy a prófétához, annak én, az ÚR felelek meg, mivel sok bálványa van,

Ezokáért szólj velök, és mondjad nékik: Ezt mondja az Úr Isten: Valaki az Izráel házából bálványait szívébe fölveszi, és vétkének botránkozását teszi orczái elé, és megy a prófétához: én, az Úr felelek meg annak énmagam által bálványainak sokasága miatt;

Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols;

De aceea vorbeşte-le şi spune-le: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu: „Orice om din casa lui Israel care îşi poartă idolii în inimă şi care îşi pironeşte privirile spre ceea ce l-a făcut să cadă în nelegiuirea lui – dacă va veni să vorbească prorocului – Eu, Domnul, îi voi răspunde, în ciuda mulţimii idolilor lui,

Therefore speak to them and say to them, Thus says the Lord GOD: Any one of the house of Israel who takes his idols into his heart and sets the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and yet comes to the prophet, I the LORD will answer him as he comes with the multitude of his idols,

hogy így megragadjam Izráel házának a szívét, akik mindnyájan elfordultak tőlem bálványaik miatt.”

Hogy megragadjam Izráel házát az ő szívökben, a kik elfordultak tőlem bálványaik miatt mindnyájan.

That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols.

ca să prind în chiar inima lor pe aceia din casa lui Israel care s-au depărtat de Mine din pricina tuturor idolilor.”

that I may lay hold of the hearts of the house of Israel, who are all estranged from me through their idols.

Ezért ezt mondd Izráel házának: „Azt mondja az én Uram, az ÚR: Térjetek meg, forduljatok el bálványaitoktól, és fordítsátok el arcotokat minden utálatosságotoktól!

Ezokáért mondjad Izráel házának: Ezt mondja az Úr Isten: Térjetek meg, és forduljatok el bálványaitoktól és minden útálatosságtoktól fordítsátok el orczátokat.

Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.

De aceea, spune casei lui Israel: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu: „Întoarceţi-vă şi abateţi-vă de la idolii voştri, întoarceţi-vă privirile de la toate urâciunile voastre!

“Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord GOD: Repent and turn away from your idols, and turn away your faces from all your abominations.

Mert ha valaki Izráel házából és a jövevények közül, akik Izráelben laknak, elhajlik tőlem, szívébe fogadja a bálványokat, és maga elé állítja azt, ami bűnös botlását okozza, majd a prófétához megy, hogy megkérdezzen engem – én, az ÚR felelek meg annak.

Mert valaki az Izráel házából és a jövevények közül, a kik Izráelben laknak, elhajlik tőlem, és az ő bálványait veszi föl szívébe, és vétkének botránkozását teszi orczája elé, és megyen a prófétához, hogy ez tanácsot kérjen ő néki én tőlem: én, az Úr felelek meg annak énmagam által;

For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to a prophet to enquire of him concerning me; I the LORD will answer him by myself:

Căci orice om din casa lui Israel sau din străinii care locuiesc pentru o vreme în Israel, care s-a depărtat de Mine, care îşi poartă idolii în inima lui şi nu-şi ia privirile de la ceea ce l-a făcut să cadă în nelegiuirea lui – dacă va veni să vorbească unui proroc, ca să Mă întrebe prin el – Eu, Domnul, prin Mine însumi îi voi răspunde.

For any one of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn in Israel, who separates himself from me, taking his idols into his heart and putting the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and yet comes to a prophet to consult me through him, I the LORD will answer him myself.

Ellene fordulok az ilyen embernek, intő példává, szóbeszéd tárgyává teszem. Kiirtom népem közül, és megtudjátok, hogy én vagyok az ÚR!

És ellene fordítom orczámat annak a férfiúnak, és vetem őt jegyül és közbeszédül, és kiirtom népem közül, és megtudjátok, hogy én vagyok az Úr!

And I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

Îmi voi întoarce faţa împotriva omului acestuia, îl voi face un semn şi de pomină şi-l voi nimici cu desăvârşire din mijlocul poporului Meu. Şi veţi şti că Eu sunt Domnul!

And I will set my face against that man; I will make him a sign and a byword and cut him off from the midst of my people, and you shall know that I am the LORD.

Ha pedig a prófétát megtévesztik, és kijelentést ad, én, az ÚR tévesztem meg azt a prófétát. Kinyújtom ellene a kezemet, és elveszítem őt népem, Izráel közül.

Ha pedig a próféta megtéveszteni engedi magát, hogy kijelentést adjon: én, az Úr tévesztettem meg azt a prófétát; és kinyújtom kezemet ellene, és kivesztem őt az én népem, Izráel közül.

And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.

Dacă prorocul se va lăsa amăgit să rostească un cuvânt, Eu, Domnul, am amăgit pe prorocul acela; Îmi voi întinde mâna împotriva lui şi-l voi nimici din mijlocul poporului Meu, Israel.

And if the prophet is deceived and speaks a word, I, the LORD, have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand against him and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.

És viselni fogják büntetésüket: a kérdező bűne épp olyan, mint a próféta bűne

És viselik vétköket; a milyen a kérdező vétke, olyan legyen a próféta vétke is.

And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeketh unto him;

Îşi vor purta astfel păcatul lor, şi pedeapsa prorocului va fi la fel cu pedeapsa celui ce întreabă,

And they shall bear their punishment—the punishment of the prophet and the punishment of the inquirer shall be alike—

azért, hogy többé ne tévelyedjen el tőlem Izráel háza, és többé ne tegyék tisztátalanná magukat vétkeikkel, hanem az én népem legyenek, és én Istenük legyek” – ezt mondja az én Uram, az ÚR.

Azért, hogy el ne tévelyedjék többé Izráel háza én tőlem, és többé meg ne fertéztessék magokat minden ő elszakadásukkal, hanem legyenek az én népem és én legyek Istenök, ezt mondja az Úr Isten.

That the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, saith the Lord GOD.

ca să nu mai rătăcească de la Mine casa lui Israel şi să nu se mai spurce cu toate fărădelegile ei. Atunci vor fi poporul Meu, şi Eu voi fi Dumnezeul lor, zice Domnul Dumnezeu!”

that the house of Israel may no more go astray from me, nor defile themselves anymore with all their transgressions, but that they may be my people and I may be their God, declares the Lord GOD.”

Akkor így szólt hozzám az ÚR szava:

És lőn az Úr beszéde hozzám, mondván:

The word of the LORD came again to me, saying,

Cuvântul Domnului mi-a vorbit astfel:

And the word of the LORD came to me:

Embernek fia! Ha egy ország vétkezik ellenem azzal, hogy elpártol tőlem, én pedig kinyújtom kezemet ellene, és eltöröm a kenyere botját, éhínséget bocsátok rá, és kiirtok belőle embert és állatot,

Embernek fia! ha valamely ország vétkeznék ellenem, elpártolván tőlem, és én kinyújtván kezemet ellene, eltörném néki a kenyérnek botját, és bocsátanék reá éhséget, és kiirtanék belőle embert és barmot;

Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it:

„Fiul omului, când va păcătui o ţară împotriva Mea dedându-se la fărădelege, şi Îmi voi întinde mâna împotriva ei – dacă îi voi sfărâma toiagul pâinii, dacă îi voi trimite foametea, dacă îi voi nimici cu desăvârşire oamenii şi vitele –

“Son of man, when a land sins against me by acting faithlessly, and I stretch out my hand against it and break its supply of bread and send famine upon it, and cut off from it man and beast,

és ha ez a három férfi volna is ott: Nóé, Dániel és Jób, ők is csak a maguk lelkét menthetnék meg igazságukkal, ezt mondja az én Uram, az ÚR.

És ha volna ez a három férfiú benne: Noé, Dániel és Jób: akkor ők az ő igazságukkal a magok lelkét megszabadítanák, azt mondja az Úr Isten.

Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord GOD.

chiar de ar fi în mijlocul ei aceşti trei oameni: Noe, Daniel şi Iov, ei nu şi-ar mântui decât sufletul lor prin neprihănirea lor, zice Domnul Dumnezeu.

even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they would deliver but their own lives by their righteousness, declares the Lord GOD.

Ha vadállatokat bocsátanék az országra, hogy néptelenné tegyék azt, és pusztává lenne, ahol senki sem jár a vadállatok miatt,

Ha gonosz vadállatokat bocsátanék át az országon, hogy azt gyermektelenné tegyék, és az pusztává lenne, a melyen senki át nem menne a vadállatok miatt:

If I cause noisome beasts to pass through the land, and they spoil it, so that it be desolate, that no man may pass through because of the beasts:

Dacă aş lăsa ca ţara să fie cutreierată de fiare sălbatice, care ar lăsa-o fără popor, dacă ar ajunge un pustiu pe unde n-ar mai putea trece nimeni, din pricina acestor fiare,

“If I cause wild beasts to pass through the land, and they ravage it, and it be made desolate, so that no one may pass through because of the beasts,

és ott volna az a három férfi, élek én – mondja az én Uram, az ÚR –, sem fiaikat, sem leányaikat nem menthetnék meg, csak saját magukat menthetnék meg, az ország pedig pusztává lenne.

Benne ama három férfiú (élek én, az Úr Isten mondja) sem fiakat, sem leányokat meg nem szabadítana, csak magokat szabadítanák meg, az ország pedig pusztává lenne.

Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only shall be delivered, but the land shall be desolate.

şi ar fi în mijlocul ei aceşti trei oameni, pe viaţa Mea, zice Domnul Dumnezeu, că n-ar scăpa nici fii, nici fiice, ci numai ei ar scăpa, şi ţara ar ajunge un pustiu.

even if these three men were in it, as I live, declares the Lord GOD, they would deliver neither sons nor daughters. They alone would be delivered, but the land would be desolate.

Vagy ha fegyvert hoznék arra az országra, és azt mondanám: „Fegyver, menj át ezen az országon!”, és kiirtanék belőle embert és állatot,

Avagy ha fegyvert hoznék amaz országra, és mondanám: fegyver, menj át ez országon! és kiirtanék belőle embert és barmot,

Or if I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off man and beast from it:

Sau dacă aş aduce sabie împotriva ţării acesteia, dacă aş zice să treacă sabia prin ţară, dacă i-aş nimici cu desăvârşire oamenii şi vitele,

“Or if I bring a sword upon that land and say, Let a sword pass through the land, and I cut off from it man and beast,

és ha ott volna is az a három férfi, élek én – mondja az én Uram, az ÚR –, sem fiaikat, sem leányaikat nem menthetnék meg, hanem csak saját magukat menthetnék meg.

És ama három férfiú benne volna, élek én, az Úr Isten mondja, nem szabadítana meg sem fiakat, sem leányokat, hanem csak magokat szabadítanák meg.

Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only shall be delivered themselves.

şi ar fi în mijlocul ei aceşti trei oameni, pe viaţa Mea – zice Domnul Dumnezeu – că n-ar scăpa nici fii, nici fiice, ci numai ei singuri ar scăpa.

though these three men were in it, as I live, declares the Lord GOD, they would deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they alone would be delivered.

Vagy ha dögvészt bocsátanék arra az országra, és kiönteném rá véres haragomat, hogy kiirtsak belőle embert és állatot,

Avagy ha döghalált bocsátanék arra az országra, és kiönteném búsulásomat reá vérben, hogy kiirtsak belőle embert és barmot,

Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast:

Sau dacă aş trimite ciuma în ţara aceasta, dacă Mi-aş vărsa urgia împotriva ei prin molimă ca să-i nimicesc cu desăvârşire oamenii şi vitele,

“Or if I send a pestilence into that land and pour out my wrath upon it with blood, to cut off from it man and beast,

és ha ott volna is Nóé, Dániel és Jób: élek én – mondja az én Uram, az ÚR –, sem fiukat, sem leányukat nem menthetnék meg, csak a maguk lelkét menthetnék meg igazságukkal.

S Noé, Dániel és Jób benne volna: élek én, az Úr Isten mondja, nem szabadítanának meg sem fiat, sem leányt; ők igazságukkal csak a magok lelkét szabadítanák meg.

Though Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness.

Mert így szól az én Uram, az ÚR: Mennyivel inkább így lesz ez, ha rábocsátom Jeruzsálemre e négy súlyos ítéletemet: a fegyvert, az éhínséget, a vadállatokat és a dögvészt, hogy kiirtsak belőle embert és állatot!

Mert így szól az Úr Isten: Mennyivel inkább, ha e négy nehéz ítéletemet: a fegyvert, éhséget, vadállatot és döghalált bocsátom Jeruzsálemre, hogy kiirtsak belőle embert és barmot!

For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?

Totuşi aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu: „Măcar că trimit împotriva Ierusalimului cele patru pedepse grozave ale Mele: sabia, foametea, fiarele sălbatice şi ciuma, ca să nimicesc cu desăvârşire din el oamenii şi vitele,

“For thus says the Lord GOD: How much more when I send upon Jerusalem my four disastrous acts of judgment, sword, famine, wild beasts, and pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast!

Íme, megmarad benne néhány menekült: fiak és leányok, akiket kivezetnek. Íme, ők kimennek hozzátok, hogy lássátok útjukat és cselekedeteiket, és megvigasztalódjatok a veszedelem miatt, amelyet Jeruzsálemre hoztam, mindarra nézve, amiket ráhoztam.

Ímé, megmaradnak benne némely menekültek, a kiket kivezetnek, fiak és leányok; ímé ők kimennek hozzátok, hogy lássátok útjokat és cselekedeteiket, és vígasztalást vegyetek a veszedelemből, melyet Jeruzsálemre hoztam, mindarra nézve, a mit hoztam reá.

Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it.

tot va fi o rămăşiţă care va scăpa, care va ieşi din el, şi anume: fii şi fiice. Iată, aceştia vor veni la voi, le veţi vedea purtarea şi faptele şi vă veţi mângâia de nenorocirea pe care o aduc asupra Ierusalimului, de tot ce aduc asupra lui.

But behold, some survivors will be left in it, sons and daughters who will be brought out; behold, when they come out to you, and you see their ways and their deeds, you will be consoled for the disaster that I have brought upon Jerusalem, for all that I have brought upon it.

És megvigasztalnak titeket, ha látjátok útjukat és cselekedeteiket. Akkor megtudjátok, hogy nem hiába cselekedtem mindazt, amit cselekedtem vele – ezt mondja az én Uram, az ÚR.

És megvígasztalnak titeket, ha látjátok útjokat és cselekedeteiket megismeritek, hogy nem hiába cselekedtem mindazt, a mit cselekedtem vele, ezt mondja az Úr Isten.

And they shall comfort you, when ye see their ways and their doings: and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord GOD.

Ei vă vor mângâia, când le veţi vedea purtarea şi faptele, şi veţi cunoaşte că nu fără temei fac Eu tot ce fac împotriva Ierusalimului, zice Domnul Dumnezeu.”

They will console you, when you see their ways and their deeds, and you shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, declares the Lord GOD.”
