Az elmondottak lényege az, hogy olyan főpapunk van, aki a Magasságos trónjának jobbjára ült a mennyekben,

Fődolog pedig azokra nézve, a miket mondunk, az, hogy olyan főpapunk van, a ki a mennyei Felség királyi székének jobbjára üle,

Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;

Punctul cel mai însemnat al celor spuse este că avem un Mare Preot care S-a aşezat la dreapta scaunului de domnie al Măririi, în ceruri,

Now the point in what we are saying is this: we have such a high priest, one who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven,

annak a szentélynek és igazi sátornak szolgálattevőjeként, amelyet nem ember épített, hanem az Úr.

A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.

ca slujitor al Locului Preasfânt şi al adevăratului Cort, care a fost ridicat nu de un om, ci de Domnul.

a minister in the holy places, in the true tent that the Lord set up, not man.

Mert minden főpapot ajándékok meg áldozatok bemutatására rendelnek, ezért szükséges, hogy neki is legyen mit áldoznia.

Mert minden főpap ajándékok meg áldozatok vitelére rendeltetik, a miért szükséges, hogy legyen valamije ennek is, a mit áldozatul vigyen.

For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.

Orice mare preot este pus să aducă lui Dumnezeu daruri şi jertfe. De aceea era de trebuinţă ca şi celălalt Mare Preot să aibă ceva de adus.

For every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices; thus it is necessary for this priest also to have something to offer.

Ha tehát a földön volna, még csak pap sem volna, mert már vannak olyanok, akik a törvény szerint áldozatokat mutatnak be;

For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:

Dacă ar fi pe pământ, nici n-ar mai fi preot, fiindcă sunt cei ce aduc darurile după Lege.

Now if he were on earth, he would not be a priest at all, since there are priests who offer gifts according to the law.

akik a mennyei dolgok képmásának és árnyékának szolgálnak, ahogy Isten rendelte Mózesnek, amikor el akarta készíteni a sátrat: Vigyázz – mondta –, hogy mindent a szerint a minta szerint készíts, amelyet a hegyen mutattam neked.

Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

Ei fac o slujbă, care este chipul şi umbra lucrurilor cereşti, după poruncile primite de Moise de la Dumnezeu, când avea să facă Cortul: „Ia seama”, i s-a zis, „să faci totul după chipul care ţi-a fost arătat pe munte.”

They serve a copy and shadow of the heavenly things. For when Moses was about to erect the tent, he was instructed by God, saying, “See that you make everything according to the pattern that was shown you on the mountain.”

But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

Dar, acum, Hristos a căpătat o slujbă cu atât mai înaltă cu cât legământul al cărui mijlocitor este El, e mai bun, căci este aşezat pe făgăduinţe mai bune.

But as it is, Christ has obtained a ministry that is as much more excellent than the old as the covenant he mediates is better, since it is enacted on better promises.

For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.

În adevăr, dacă legământul dintâi ar fi fost fără cusur, n-ar mai fi fost vorba să fie înlocuit cu un al doilea.

For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion to look for a second.

Mert dorgálóan ezt mondja nekik: Íme, jönnek napok – ezt mondja az Úr –, és Izráel házával és Júda házával új szövetséget kötök.

Mert dorgálván őket, így szól: Ímé napok jőnek, ezt mondja az Úr, és az Izráel házával és Júdának házával új szövetséget kötök.

For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

Căci, ca o mustrare a zis Dumnezeu lui Israel: „Iată, vin zile, zice Domnul, când voi face cu casa lui Israel şi cu casa lui Iuda un legământ nou;

For he finds fault with them when he says: “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah,

Nem olyan szövetséget, amelyet atyáikkal kötöttem azon a napon, amikor kézen fogva kivezettem őket Egyiptomból. Mivel azonban nem maradtak meg szövetségemben, azért én sem törődtem velük – ezt mondja az Úr.

Nem azon szövetség szerint, a melyet kötöttem az ő atyáikkal ama napon, mikor kézen fogtam őket, hogy kivezessem Égyiptomból, mert ők nem maradtak meg abban az én szövetségemben, azért én sem gondoltam velök, mondja az Úr.

Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

nu ca legământul pe care l-am făcut cu părinţii lor, în ziua când i-am apucat de mână, ca să-i scot din ţara Egiptului. Pentru că n-au rămas în legământul Meu, şi nici Mie nu Mi-a păsat de ei, zice Domnul.

not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt. For they did not continue in my covenant, and so I showed no concern for them, declares the Lord.

Mert ez az a szövetség, amelyet azon napok elmúltával kötök az Izráel házával. Ezt mondja az Úr: Törvényemet elméjükbe adom, és szívükbe írom azokat, és Istenük leszek, ők pedig népemmé lesznek.

Mert ez az a szövetség, melyet kötök az Izráel házával, ama napok multán, mond az Úr: Adom az én törvényemet az ő elméjökbe, és az ő szívökbe írom azokat, és leszek nekik Istenök és ők lesznek nekem népem.

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

Dar iată legământul pe care-l voi face cu casa lui Israel, după acele zile, zice Domnul: voi pune legile Mele în mintea lor şi le voi scrie în inimile lor; Eu voi fi Dumnezeul lor, şi ei vor fi poporul Meu.

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Akkor senki sem tanítja többé így sem a társát, sem a testvérét: „Ismerd meg az Urat”, mert mindnyájan ismerni fognak engem kicsinytől nagyig.

És nem tanítja kiki az ő felebarátját és kiki az ő atyafiát, mondván: Ismerd meg az Urat; mert mindnyájan megismernek engem a kicsinytől nagyig.

And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

Şi nu vor mai învăţa fiecare pe vecinul sau pe fratele său, zicând: „Cunoaşte pe Domnul!”, căci toţi Mă vor cunoaşte, de la cel mai mic până la cel mai mare dintre ei.

And they shall not teach, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest.

Mert megkegyelmezek álnokságaiknak, és bűneikről nem emlékezem többé.

Mert megkegyelmezek álnokságaiknak, és az ő bűneikről és gonoszságaikról meg nem emlékezem.

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Pentru că le voi ierta nelegiuirile şi nu-Mi voi mai aduce aminte de păcatele şi fărădelegile lor.”

For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.”

Amikor újról beszél, elavulttá tette az elsőt, ami pedig elavul és megöregszik, közel van az enyészethez.

Mikor újról beszél, óvá tette az elsőt; a mi pedig megavul és megvénhedik, közel van az enyészethez.

In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Prin faptul că zice: „un nou legământ”, a mărturisit că cel dintâi este vechi; iar ce este vechi, ce a îmbătrânit, este aproape de pieire.

In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.
