Azért tehát még jobban kell nekünk a hallottakra figyelnünk, hogy valamiképpen el ne sodródjunk.

Annakokáért annál is inkább szükséges nékünk a hallottakra figyelmeznünk, hogy valaha el ne sodortassunk.

Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

De aceea, cu atât mai mult, trebuie să ne ţinem de lucrurile pe care le-am auzit, ca să nu fim depărtaţi de ele.

Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it.

Mert ha az angyalok által hirdetett beszéd erős volt, és minden bűn és engedetlenség elvette igazságos büntetését,

For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;

For since the message declared by angels proved to be reliable, and every transgression or disobedience received a just retribution,

Mimódon menekedünk meg mi, hogyha nem törődünk ily nagy idvességgel? a melyet, miután kezdetben hirdetett az Úr, azok, a kik hallották, biztosítottak számunkra,

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

cum vom scăpa noi, dacă stăm nepăsători faţă de o mântuire aşa de mare, care, după ce a fost vestită întâi de Domnul, ne-a fost adeverită de cei ce au auzit-o,

how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? It was declared at first by the Lord, and it was attested to us by those who heard,

Isten pedig bizonyságot tett mellettük az ő akarata szerint jelekkel és csodákkal, sokféle erővel és a Szentlélek ajándékával.

Velök együtt bizonyságot tevén arról az Isten, jelekkel meg csodákkal és sokféle erőkkel s a Szent Léleknek közléseivel az ő akarata szerint.

God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

în timp ce Dumnezeu întărea mărturia lor cu semne, puteri şi felurite minuni şi cu darurile Duhului Sfânt, împărţite după voia Sa!

while God also bore witness by signs and wonders and various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.

For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.

Sőt valahol valaki így tett bizonyságot: Mi az ember, hogy megemlékezel róla, vagy az ember fia, hogy gondod van rá?

Sőt bizonyságot tett valahol valaki, mondván: Micsoda az ember, hogy megemlékezel ő róla, avagy az embernek fia, hogy gondod van reá?

But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man that thou visitest him?

Ba încă, cineva a făcut undeva următoarea mărturisire: „Ce este omul ca să-Ţi aduci aminte de el sau fiul omului, ca să-l cercetezi?

It has been testified somewhere, “What is man, that you are mindful of him, or the son of man, that you care for him?

Rövid időre kisebbé tetted őt az angyaloknál, dicsőséggel és méltósággal koronáztad meg,

Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:

You made him for a little while lower than the angels; you have crowned him with glory and honor,

Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

Azt azonban látjuk, hogy Jézus, aki egy rövid időre kisebbé lett az angyaloknál, a halál elszenvedéséért dicsőséggel és tisztességgel koronáztatott meg, mivel az Isten kegyelméből mindenkiért megízlelte a halált.

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

But we see him who for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.

Mert ez volt méltó ahhoz, akiért van a mindenség, és aki által lett a mindenség, hogy üdvösségük fejedelmét, aki sok fiat vezet dicsőségre, szenvedések által tegye tökéletessé.

For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Se cuvenea, în adevăr, ca Acela pentru care şi prin care sunt toate şi care voia să ducă pe mulţi fii la slavă să desăvârşească, prin suferinţe, pe Căpetenia mântuirii lor.

For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering.

For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

For he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one source. That is why he is not ashamed to call them brothers,

amikor így szól: Hirdetem nevedet testvéreimnek, a gyülekezet közösségében dicsérlek téged.

Mondván: Hirdetem a te nevedet az én atyámfiainak, az anyaszentegyháznak közepette dícséretet mondok néked.

Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.

când zice: „Voi vesti Numele Tău fraţilor Mei; Îţi voi cânta lauda în mijlocul adunării.”

saying, “I will tell of your name to my brothers; in the midst of the congregation I will sing your praise.”

És ismét: Én benne bízom. És ismét: Íme, itt vagyok, én és a gyermekek, akiket Isten nekem adott.

És ismét: Én ő benne bízom; és ismét: Ímhol vagyok én és a gyermekek, a kiket az Isten nékem adott.

And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.

Şi iarăşi: „Îmi voi pune încrederea în El.” Şi în alt loc: „Iată-Mă, Eu şi copiii pe care Mi i-a dat Dumnezeu!”

And again, “I will put my trust in him.” And again, “Behold, I and the children God has given me.”

And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

şi să izbăvească pe toţi aceia care, prin frica morţii, erau supuşi robiei toată viaţa lor.

and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery.

Mert nyilván nem angyalokat karolt fel, hanem Ábrahám leszármazottait karolta fel.

For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

Căci negreşit, nu în ajutorul îngerilor vine El, ci în ajutorul seminţei lui Avraam.

For surely it is not angels that he helps, but he helps the offspring of Abraham.

Ezért mindenben hasonlóvá kellett lennie testvéreihez, hogy irgalmas és hű főpap lehessen az Isten előtti szolgálatban, hogy engesztelést szerezzen a nép bűneiért.

Annakokáért mindenestől fogva hasonlatosnak kellett lennie az atyafiakhoz, hogy könyörülő legyen és hív főpap az Isten előtt való dolgokban, hogy engesztelést szerezzen a nép bűneiért.

Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Prin urmare, a trebuit să Se asemene fraţilor Săi în toate lucrurile, ca să poată fi, în ce priveşte legăturile cu Dumnezeu, un Mare Preot milos şi vrednic de încredere, ca să facă ispăşire pentru păcatele norodului.

Therefore he had to be made like his brothers in every respect, so that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the service of God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

Mivel maga is kísértést szenvedett, segíteni tud azokon, akik kísértésbe esnek.

Mert a mennyiben szenvedett, ő maga is megkísértetvén, segíthet azokon, a kik megkísértetnek.

For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Şi, prin faptul că El însuşi a fost ispitit în ceea ce a suferit, poate să vină în ajutorul celor ce sunt ispitiţi.

For because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.
