Mivel tehát még beteljesedésre vár az ő nyugodalmába való bemenetel ígérete, vigyázzunk, nehogy valaki közületek fogyatkozásban levőnek láttassék.

Óvakodjunk tehát, hogy mivel megvan az ő nyugodalmába való bemenetel ígérete, valaki közületek fogyatkozásban levőnek ne láttassék.

Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.

Să luăm, dar, bine seama, că atâta vreme cât rămâne în picioare făgăduinţa intrării în odihna Lui, niciunul din voi să nu se pomenească venit prea târziu.

Therefore, while the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us fear lest any of you should seem to have failed to reach it.

Mert nekünk is hirdették az evangéliumot, miként azoknak, de nem használt nekik a hallott beszéd, mivel nem párosították hittel azok, akik hallották.

Mert nékünk is hirdettetett az evangyéliom, miképen azoknak: de nem használt nékik a hallott beszéd, mivel nem párosították hittel azok, a kik hallották.

For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

Căci şi nouă ni s-a adus o veste bună ca şi lor; dar lor Cuvântul care le-a fost propovăduit, nu le-a ajutat la nimic, pentru că n-a găsit credinţă la cei ce l-au auzit.

For good news came to us just as to them, but the message they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united by faith with those who listened.

Mert mi, akik hiszünk, bemegyünk a nyugodalomba, amint megmondta: „Ezért megesküdtem haragomban, hogy nem mennek be az én nyugodalmamba”, jóllehet a világ megalapításától kezdett munkáit bevégezte.

Mert mi, hívők, bemegyünk a nyugodalomba, miképen megmondotta: A mint megesküdtem az én haragomban, nem fognak bemenni az én nyugodalmamba; jóllehet munkáit a világ megalapításától kezdve bevégezte.

For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

Pe când noi, fiindcă am crezut, intrăm în „odihna” despre care a vorbit El când a zis: „Am jurat în mânia Mea că nu vor intra în odihna Mea!” Măcar că lucrările Lui fuseseră isprăvite încă de la întemeierea lumii.

For we who have believed enter that rest, as he has said, “As I swore in my wrath, ‘They shall not enter my rest,’” although his works were finished from the foundation of the world.

Mert valahol a hetedik napról így szólt: És megnyugodott Isten a hetedik napon minden cselekedetétől.

Mert valahol a hetedik napról ekképen szólott: És megnyugovék Isten a hetedik napon minden ő cselekedeteitől.

For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

Căci într-un loc a vorbit astfel despre ziua a şaptea: „Dumnezeu S-a odihnit în ziua a şaptea de toate lucrările Lui.”

For he has somewhere spoken of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all his works.”

Itt pedig ismét: Nem mennek be az én nyugodalmamba.

És ugyanabban ismét: Nem mennek be az én nyugodalmamba.

And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.

Şi aici este zis iarăşi: „Nu vor intra în odihna Mea!”

And again in this passage he said, “They shall not enter my rest.”

Mivel tehát még hátravan, hogy némelyek bemenjenek abba, és akiknek először hirdettetett az evangélium, nem mentek be engedetlenségük miatt,

Mivelhogy annakokáért áll az, hogy némelyek bemennek abba, és a kiknek először hirdettetett az evangyéliom, nem mentek be engedetlenség miatt:

Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

Deci, fiindcă rămâne ca să intre unii în odihna aceasta şi pentru că aceia cărora li s-a vestit întâi vestea bună n-au intrat în ea, din pricina neascultării lor,

Since therefore it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly received the good news failed to enter because of disobedience,

ismét mának jelöl egy napot, amikor Dávid által annyi idő után így szólt, ahogyan előbb mondtuk: Ma, ha az ő szavát halljátok, ne keményítsétek meg a szíveteket!

Ismét határoz egy napot: Ma, szólván Dávid által annnyi idő multán, a mint előbb mondva volt. Ma, ha az ő szavát halljátok, meg ne keményítsétek a ti szíveiteket.

Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

El hotărăşte din nou o zi: „astăzi” – zicând, în David, după atâta vreme, cum s-a spus mai sus: „Astăzi, dacă auziţi glasul Lui, nu vă împietriţi inimile!”

again he appoints a certain day, “Today,” saying through David so long afterward, in the words already quoted, “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.”

Mert ha Józsué bevitte volna őket a nyugodalomba, nem szólna azután egy másik napról.

Mert ha őket Józsué nyugodalomba helyezte volna, nem szólana azok után más napról.

For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

Căci, dacă le-ar fi dat Iosua odihna, n-ar mai vorbi Dumnezeu după aceea de o altă zi.

For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another day later on.

Eszerint még hátravan a szombati nyugalom Isten népe számára.

Annakokáért megvan a szombatja az Isten népének.

There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

Rămâne, dar, o odihnă ca cea de Sabat pentru poporul lui Dumnezeu.

So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God,

Mert aki bement az ő nyugodalmába, az maga is megnyugodott cselekedeteitől, mint Isten is a magáétól.

Mert a ki bement az ő nyugodalmába, az maga is megnyugodott cselekedeteitől, a miképen Isten is a magáéitól,

For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

Fiindcă cine intră în odihna Lui se odihneşte şi el de lucrările lui, cum S-a odihnit Dumnezeu de lucrările Sale.

for whoever has entered God’s rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.

Igyekezzünk tehát bemenni abba a nyugodalomba, nehogy valaki az engedetlenség hasonló példájaként elessék.

Igyekezzünk tehát bemenni abba a nyugodalomba, hogy valaki a hitetlenségnek ugyanazon példájába ne essék.

Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

Să ne grăbim, dar, să intrăm în odihna aceasta, pentru ca nimeni să nu cadă în aceeaşi pildă de neascultare.

Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.

Mert Isten beszéde élő és ható, és élesebb minden kétélű kardnál, és elhat a szívnek és léleknek, az ízületeknek és a velőknek megoszlásáig, és megítéli a szív gondolatait és szándékait.

Mert az Istennek beszéde élő és ható, és élesebb minden kétélű fegyvernél, és elhat a szívnek és léleknek, az ízeknek és a velőknek megoszlásáig, és megítéli a gondolatokat és a szívnek indulatait.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Căci Cuvântul lui Dumnezeu este viu şi lucrător, mai tăietor decât orice sabie cu două tăişuri: pătrunde până acolo că desparte sufletul şi duhul, încheieturile şi măduva, judecă simţirile şi gândurile inimii.

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

És nincs olyan teremtmény, amely rejtve volna előtte, sőt mindenek meztelenek és leplezetlenek annak szeme előtt, akinek számot kell adnunk.

És nincsen oly teremtmény, a mely nyilvánvaló nem volna előtte, sőt mindenek meztelenek és leplezetlenek annak szemei előtt, a kiről mi beszélünk.

Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

Nicio făptură nu este ascunsă de El, ci totul este gol şi descoperit înaintea ochilor Aceluia cu care avem a face.

And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

Mivel tehát nagy főpapunk van, aki áthatolt az egeken, Jézus, az Isten Fia, ragaszkodjunk hitvallásunkhoz.

Lévén annakokáért nagy főpapunk, a ki áthatolt az egeken, Jézus, az Istennek Fia, ragaszkodjunk vallásunkhoz.

Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

Astfel, fiindcă avem un Mare Preot însemnat, care a străbătut cerurile – pe Isus, Fiul lui Dumnezeu – să rămânem tari în mărturisirea noastră.

Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.

Mert nem olyan főpapunk van, aki ne tudna megindulni gyengeségeinken, hanem aki hozzánk hasonlóan megkísértetett mindenben, kivéve a bűnt.

Mert nem oly főpapunk van, a ki nem tudna megindulni gyarlóságainkon, hanem a ki megkísértetett mindenekben, hozzánk hasonlóan, kivéve a bűnt.

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Căci n-avem un Mare Preot care să n-aibă milă de slăbiciunile noastre, ci Unul care în toate lucrurile a fost ispitit ca şi noi, dar fără păcat.

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.

Járuljunk azért bizalommal a kegyelem trónjához, hogy irgalmat nyerjünk, és kegyelmet találjunk idejében jövő segítségül.

Járuljunk azért bizodalommal a kegyelem királyi székéhez, hogy irgalmasságot nyerjünk és kegyelmet találjunk, alkalmas időben való segítségül.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Să ne apropiem, dar, cu deplină încredere de scaunul harului, ca să căpătăm îndurare şi să găsim har, pentru ca să fim ajutaţi la vreme de nevoie.

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
