Mert minden főpapot emberek közül választanak és emberekért rendelnek az Isten előtti szolgálatra, hogy ajándékokat és áldozatokat mutasson be a bűnökért,

Mert minden főpap emberek közül választatván, emberekért rendeltetik az Isten előtt való dolgokban, hogy ajándékokat és áldozatokat vigyen a bűnökért,

For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:

În adevăr, orice mare preot luat din mijlocul oamenilor este pus pentru oameni în lucrurile privitoare la Dumnezeu, ca să aducă daruri şi jertfe pentru păcate.

For every high priest chosen from among men is appointed to act on behalf of men in relation to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins.

aki képes együtt érezni a tudatlanokkal és tévelygőkkel, mivelhogy maga is körül van véve erőtlenséggel.

A ki képes együttérezni a tudatlanokkal és tévelygőkkel, mivelhogy maga is körül van véve gyarlósággal.

Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.

El poate fi îngăduitor cu cei neştiutori şi rătăciţi, fiindcă şi el este cuprins de slăbiciune.

He can deal gently with the ignorant and wayward, since he himself is beset with weakness.

Ezért köteles mind a népért, mind önmagáért a bűnért való áldozatot bemutatni.

És ezért köteles, miképen a népért, azonképen önmagáért is áldozni a bűnökért.

And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.

Şi, din pricina acestei slăbiciuni, trebuie să aducă jertfe atât pentru păcatele lui, cât şi pentru ale norodului.

Because of this he is obligated to offer sacrifice for his own sins just as he does for those of the people.

És senki sem szerezheti meg magának ezt a tisztséget, csak akit Isten hív el, amint Áront is.

És senki sem veszi magának e tisztességet, hanem a [kit] Isten hív el, miként Áront is.

And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.

Nimeni nu-şi ia cinstea aceasta singur, ci o ia dacă este chemat de Dumnezeu, cum a fost Aaron.

And no one takes this honor for himself, but only when called by God, just as Aaron was.

Hasonlóképpen Krisztus sem maga dicsőítette meg magát azzal, hogy főpap lett, hanem az, aki így szólt hozzá: Én Fiam vagy te, ma szültelek téged.

So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.

Tot aşa, şi Hristos nu Şi-a luat singur slava de a fi Mare Preot, ci o are de la Cel ce I-a zis: „Tu eşti Fiul Meu, astăzi Te-am născut.”

So also Christ did not exalt himself to be made a high priest, but was appointed by him who said to him, “You are my Son, today I have begotten you”;

Miképpen másutt is mondja: Te örökkévaló pap vagy, Melkisédek rendje szerint.

As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Şi, cum zice iarăşi într-alt loc: „Tu eşti Preot în veac, după rânduiala lui Melhisedec.”

as he says also in another place, “You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek.”

Aki az ő testének napjaiban könyörgésekkel és esedezésekkel, hangos kiáltás és könnyhullatás közben járult ahhoz, aki képes megszabadítani őt a halálból, és meghallgattatott istenfélelméért.

Ki az ő testének napjaiban könyörgésekkel és esedezésekkel, erős kiáltás és könyhullatás közben járult ahhoz, a ki képes megszabadítani őt a halálból, és meghallgattatott az ő istenfélelméért,

Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;

El este Acela care, în zilele vieţii Sale pământeşti, aducând rugăciuni şi cereri cu strigăte mari şi cu lacrimi către Cel ce putea să-L izbăvească de la moarte, şi fiind ascultat, din pricina evlaviei Lui,

In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence.

Jóllehet Fiú, szenvedéséből tanulta meg az engedelmességet,

Ámbár Fiú, megtanulta azokból, a miket szenvedett, az engedelmességet;

Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

măcar că era Fiu, a învăţat să asculte prin lucrurile pe care le-a suferit.

Although he was a son, he learned obedience through what he suffered.

és tökéletességre jutva örök üdvösség szerzője lett mindazok számára, akik engedelmeskednek neki.

És tökéletességre jutván, örök idvesség szerzője lett mindazokra nézve, a kik neki engedelmeskednek,

And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

Şi, după ce a fost făcut desăvârşit, S-a făcut, pentru toţi cei ce-L ascultă, urzitorul unei mântuiri veşnice,

And being made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him,

Isten őt a Melkisédek rendje szerinti főpapnak nevezte.

Neveztetvén az Istentől Melkisédek rendje szerint való főpapnak.

Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.

căci a fost numit de Dumnezeu: Mare Preot „după rânduiala lui Melhisedec.”

being designated by God a high priest after the order of Melchizedek.

Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.

Asupra celor de mai sus avem multe de zis şi lucruri grele de tâlcuit, fiindcă v-aţi făcut greoi la pricepere.

About this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing.

Mert noha ez idő szerint már tanítóknak kellene lennetek, ismét arra van szükségetek, hogy az Isten beszédeinek alapvető elemeire tanítson valaki titeket, és olyanok lettetek, mint akiknek tejre van szükségük, nem pedig kemény eledelre.

Mert noha ez idő szerint tanítóknak kellene lennetek, ismét arra van szükségetek, hogy az Isten beszédeinek kezdő elemeire tanítson valaki titeket; és olyanok lettetek, a kiknek tejre van szükségetek és nem kemény eledelre.

For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

În adevăr, voi, care de mult trebuia să fiţi învăţători, aveţi iarăşi trebuinţă de cineva să vă înveţe cele dintâi adevăruri ale cuvintelor lui Dumnezeu şi aţi ajuns să aveţi nevoie de lapte, nu de hrană tare.

For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food,

Mert mindaz, aki tejjel él, járatlan az igazság beszédében, mivelhogy kiskorú.

Mert mindaz, a ki tejjel él, járatlan az igazságnak beszédiben, mivelhogy kiskorú:

For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

Şi oricine nu se hrăneşte decât cu lapte nu este obişnuit cu cuvântul despre neprihănire, căci este un prunc.

for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child.

A nagykorúaknak pedig kemény eledel való, mint akiknek gyakorlott ítélőképességük van a jó és a rossz megkülönböztetésére.

Az érettkorúaknak pedig kemény eledel való, mint a kiknek mivoltuknál fogva gyakorlottak az érzékeik a jó és rossz között való különbségtételre.

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Dar hrana tare este pentru oamenii mari, pentru aceia a căror judecată s-a deprins, prin întrebuinţare, să deosebească binele şi răul.

But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.
