Azért, szent testvérek, mennyei elhívás részesei, figyeljetek hitvallásunk apostolára és főpapjára, Jézusra,

Annakokáért szent atyafiak, mennyei elhívásnak részesei, figyelmezzetek, a mi vallásunknak apostolára és főpapjára, Krisztus Jézusra,

Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

De aceea, fraţi sfinţi, care aveţi parte de chemarea cerească, aţintiţi-vă privirile la Apostolul şi Marele Preot al mărturisirii noastre, adică Isus,

Therefore, holy brothers, you who share in a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession,

aki hű volt ahhoz, aki őt annak rendelte, ahogyan Mózes is Isten egész házában.

A ki hű ahhoz, a ki őt rendelte, valamint Mózes is az ő egész házában.

Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.

care a fost credincios Celui ce L-a rânduit, cum şi Moise a fost „credincios în toată casa lui Dumnezeu.”

who was faithful to him who appointed him, just as Moses also was faithful in all God’s house.

Ő azonban Mózesnél nagyobb dicsőségre méltó, amennyiben a ház építőjének nagyobb a tisztessége, mint a háznak.

Mert ez nagyobb dicsőségre méltattatott, mint Mózes, a mennyiben a ház építőjének nagyobb a tisztessége, mint a háznak.

For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.

Căci El a fost găsit vrednic să aibă o slavă cu atât mai mare decât a lui Moise, cu cât cel ce a zidit o casă are mai multă cinste decât casa însăşi. –

For Jesus has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses—as much more glory as the builder of a house has more honor than the house itself.

Mert minden háznak van építője, aki pedig mindent felépített, az Isten az.

Mert minden háznak van építője, a ki pedig mindent elkészített, az Isten az.

For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.

Orice casă este zidită de cineva, dar Cel ce a zidit toate lucrurile este Dumnezeu. –

(For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.)

Mózes is hű volt ugyan Isten egész házában mint szolga, bizonyságául annak, amit hirdetnie kellett,

Mózes is hű volt ugyan az ő egész házában, mint szolga, a hirdetendőknek bizonyságára,

And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;

Cât despre Moise, el a fost „credincios în toată casa lui Dumnezeu” ca slugă, ca să mărturisească despre lucrurile care aveau să fie vestite mai târziu.

Now Moses was faithful in all God’s house as a servant, to testify to the things that were to be spoken later,

Krisztus azonban mint Fiú áll a maga háza felett, akinek a háza mi vagyunk, ha a bizalmat és a reménység dicsekvését mindvégig erősen megtartjuk.

Krisztus ellenben mint Fiú a maga háza felett, a kinek háza mi vagyunk, ha a bizodalmat és a reménységnek dicsekedését mind végig erősen megtartjuk.

But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

Dar Hristos este credincios ca Fiu, peste casa lui Dumnezeu. Şi casa Lui suntem noi, dacă păstrăm până la sfârşit încrederea nezguduită şi nădejdea cu care ne lăudăm.

but Christ is faithful over God’s house as a son. And we are his house, if indeed we hold fast our confidence and our boasting in our hope.

Azért amint a Szentlélek mondja: Ma, ha az ő szavát halljátok,

Annakokáéért a mint a Szent Lélek mondja: Ma, ha az ő szavát halljátok,

Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,

De aceea, cum zice Duhul Sfânt: „Astăzi, dacă auziţi glasul Lui,

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today, if you hear his voice,

ne keményítsétek meg a szíveteket, mint az elkeseredéskor, a kísértés napján a pusztában,

Meg ne keményítsétek a ti szíveteket, mint az elkeseredéskor, a kísértés ama napján a pusztában,

Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

nu vă împietriţi inimile, ca în ziua răzvrătirii, ca în ziua ispitirii în pustiu,

do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, on the day of testing in the wilderness,

ahol a ti atyáitok azzal kísértettek meg, hogy próbára tettek engem, bár látták tetteimet negyven éven át.

A hol a ti atyáitok próbára tevéssel megkísértének engem és látták az én cselekedeteimet negyven esztendeig.

When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.

unde părinţii voştri M-au ispitit şi M-au pus la încercare şi au văzut lucrările Mele patruzeci de ani!

where your fathers put me to the test and saw my works for forty years.

Azért megharagudtam arra a nemzedékre, és ezt mondtam: Mindig tévelyegnek szívükben, mert nem ismerték meg az én utaimat.

Azért megharagudtam arra a nemzetségre és mondám: mindig tévelyegnek szivökben; ők pedig nem ismerték meg az én útaimat.

Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.

De aceea M-am dezgustat de neamul acesta şi am zis: „Ei totdeauna se rătăcesc în inima lor. N-au cunoscut căile Mele!

Therefore I was provoked with that generation, and said, ‘They always go astray in their heart; they have not known my ways.’

So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

Am jurat, dar, în mânia Mea că nu vor intra în odihna Mea!”

As I swore in my wrath, ‘They shall not enter my rest.’”

Vigyázzatok, testvéreim, hogy valaha ne legyen közületek senkinek hitetlen, gonosz szíve, hogy az élő Istentől elszakadjon,

Vigyázzatok atyámfiai, hogy valaha ne legyen bármelyikőtöknek hitetlen gonosz szíve, hogy az élő Istentől elszakadjon;

Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

Luaţi seama, dar, fraţilor, ca niciunul dintre voi să n-aibă o inimă rea şi necredincioasă, care să vă despartă de Dumnezeul cel Viu.

Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God.

Hanem intsétek egymást minden napon, míg tart a ma, hogy egyikőtök se keményíttessék meg a bűnnek csalárdsága által:

But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Ci îndemnaţi-vă unii pe alţii în fiecare zi, câtă vreme se zice: „astăzi”, pentru ca niciunul din voi să nu se împietrească prin înşelăciunea păcatului.

But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

Mert részeseivé lettünk Krisztusnak, ha azt a bizalmat, amely kezdetben élt bennünk, mindvégig erősen megőrizzük

Mert részeseivé lettünk Krisztusnak, ha ugyan az elkezdett bizodalmat mindvégig erősen megtartjuk.

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Căci ne-am făcut părtaşi ai lui Hristos, dacă păstrăm până la sfârşit încrederea nezguduită de la început,

For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.

While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

câtă vreme se zice: „Astăzi, dacă auziţi glasul Lui, nu vă împietriţi inimile, ca în ziua răzvrătirii.”

As it is said, “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”

Mert kik keseredtek el, amikor ezt hallották? Nemde mindazok, akik Mózes vezetésével kijöttek Egyiptomból?

Mert kik keseredtek el, mikor ezt hallák? Nemde mindazok, a kik kijövének Égyiptomból Mózes által?

For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.

Cine au fost, în adevăr, cei ce s-au răzvrătit după ce auziseră? N-au fost oare toţi aceia care ieşiseră din Egipt prin Moise?

For who were those who heard and yet rebelled? Was it not all those who left Egypt led by Moses?

És kikre haragudott meg negyven esztendeig? Nemde azokra, akik vétkeztek, akiknek teste elhullott a pusztában?

Kikre haragudott vala pedig meg negyven esztendeig? avagy nem azokra-é, a kik vétkeztek, a kiknek testei elhullottak a pusztában?

But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?

Şi cine au fost aceia de care S-a dezgustat El patruzeci de ani? N-au fost oare cei ce păcătuiseră şi ale căror trupuri moarte au căzut în pustiu?

And with whom was he provoked for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?

És kiknek esküdött meg, hogy nem mennek be az ő nyugodalmába, ha nem az engedetleneknek?

Kiknek esküdött pedig meg, hogy nem mennek be az ő nyugodalmába, hanemha az engedetleneknek?

And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?

Şi cui S-a jurat El că n-au să intre în odihna Lui? Nu S-a jurat oare celor ce nu ascultaseră?

And to whom did he swear that they would not enter his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
