Egy Lévi nemzetségéből való férfi elment, és feleségül vett egy Lévi-leányt.

És elméne egy Lévi nemzetségéből való férfiú és Lévi-leányt vőn feleségűl.

And there went a man of the house of Levi, and took to wife a daughter of Levi.

Un om din casa lui Levi luase de nevastă pe o fată a lui Levi.

Now a man from the house of Levi went and took as his wife a Levite woman.

Az asszony fogant méhében, és fiút szült. Amikor látta, hogy szép a gyermek, három hónapig rejtegette.

És fogada méhében az asszony és fiat szűle; és látá, hogy szép az és rejtegeté három hónapig.

And the woman conceived, and bare a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months.

Femeia aceasta a rămas însărcinată şi a născut un fiu. A văzut că este frumos şi l-a ascuns trei luni.

The woman conceived and bore a son, and when she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him three months.

De mikor tovább nem rejtegethette, szerzett neki egy gyékényládácskát, bekente gyantával és szurokkal, belehelyezte a gyermeket, és letette a folyó szélén a sás közé.

De mikor tovább nem rejtegetheté, szerze annak egy gyékény-ládácskát, és bekené azt gyantával és szurokkal s belétevé a gyermeket és letevé a folyóvíz szélén a sás közé.

And when she could not longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river's brink.

Nemaiputând să-l ascundă, a luat un sicriaş de papură, pe care l-a uns cu lut şi cu smoală; a pus copilul în el şi l-a aşezat între trestii, pe malul râului.

When she could hide him no longer, she took for him a basket made of bulrushes and daubed it with bitumen and pitch. She put the child in it and placed it among the reeds by the river bank.

A nénje pedig megállt távol, hogy megtudja, mi történik vele.

Az ő nénje pedig megáll vala távolról, hogy megtudja: mi történik vele?

And his sister stood afar off, to wit what would be done to him.

Sora copilului pândea la o depărtare oarecare, ca să vadă ce are să i se întâmple.

And his sister stood at a distance to know what would be done to him.

Ekkor lement a fáraó leánya, hogy megfürödjék a folyóban, a szolgálóleányai pedig a víz partján járkáltak. Amint meglátta a ládácskát a sás között, odaküldte szolgálóleányát, és kihozatta.

És aláméne a Faraó leánya, hogy megfürödjék a folyóvízben, szolgálóleányai pedig járkálnak vala a víz partján. És meglátá a ládácskát a sás között s elküldé az ő szolgálóleányát és kihozatá azt.

And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash herself at the river; and her maidens walked along by the river's side; and when she saw the ark among the flags, she sent her maid to fetch it.

Fata lui faraon s-a coborât la râu să se scalde; şi fetele care o însoţeau se plimbau pe marginea râului. Ea a zărit sicriaşul în mijlocul trestiilor şi a trimis pe roaba ei să-l ia.

Now the daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at the river, while her young women walked beside the river. She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her servant woman, and she took it.

Kinyitotta, és meglátta a gyermeket: íme, egy síró fiú volt! Megszánta, és azt mondta: A héberek gyermekei közül való.

És kinyitá és látá a gyermeket; és ímé egy síró fiú. És könyörűle rajta és monda: A héberek gyermekei közűl való ez.

And when she had opened it, she saw the child: and, behold, the babe wept. And she had compassion on him, and said, This is one of the Hebrews' children.

L-a deschis şi a văzut copilul: era un băieţaş care plângea. I-a fost milă de el şi a zis: „Este un copil de al evreilor!”

When she opened it, she saw the child, and behold, the baby was crying. She took pity on him and said, “This is one of the Hebrews’ children.”

A nénje pedig azt mondta a fáraó leányának: Elmenjek-e, és hívjak-e egy szoptatós asszonyt a héber asszonyok közül, hogy szoptassa neked a gyermeket?

Az ő nénje pedig monda a Faraó leányának: Elmenjek-é s hívjak-é egy szoptatós asszonyt a héber asszonyok közűl, hogy szoptassa néked a gyermeket?

Then said his sister to Pharaoh's daughter, Shall I go and call to thee a nurse of the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for thee?

Atunci sora copilului a zis fetei lui faraon: „Să mă duc să-ţi chem o doică dintre femeile evreilor, ca să-ţi alăpteze copilul?”

Then his sister said to Pharaoh’s daughter, “Shall I go and call you a nurse from the Hebrew women to nurse the child for you?”

A fáraó leánya így felelt neki: Menj el! Elment hát a leány, és elhívta a gyermek anyját.

És a Faraó leánya monda néki: Eredj el. Elméne azért a leányzó, és elhívá a gyermek anyját.

And Pharaoh's daughter said to her, Go. And the maid went and called the child's mother.

„Du-te”, i-a răspuns fata lui faraon. Şi fata s-a dus şi a chemat pe mama copilului.

And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Go.” So the girl went and called the child’s mother.

A fáraó leánya azt mondta neki: Vidd el ezt a gyermeket, és szoptasd nekem, és én megadom jutalmadat. Erre az asszony magához vette a gyermeket, és szoptatta.

És monda néki a Faraó leánya: Vidd el ezt a gyermeket és szoptasd fel nékem, és én megadom a te jutalmadat. És vevé az asszony a gyermeket és szoptatá azt.

And Pharaoh's daughter said unto her, Take this child away, and nurse it for me, and I will give thee thy wages. And the women took the child, and nursed it.

Fata lui faraon i-a zis: „Ia copilul acesta, alăptează-mi-l, şi îţi voi plăti.” Femeia a luat copilul şi l-a alăptat.

And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Take this child away and nurse him for me, and I will give you your wages.” So the woman took the child and nursed him.

Mikor a gyermek felnőtt, a fáraó leányához vitte őt, és az a fiává fogadta, és Mózesnek nevezte, mert azt mondta: a vízből húztam ki.

És felnevekedék a gyermek, és vivé őt a Faraó leányához, és fia gyanánt lőn annak, és nevezé nevét Mózesnek, és mondá: Mert a vízből húztam ki őt.

And the child grew, and she brought him unto Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. And she called his name Moses: and she said, Because I drew him out of the water.

Copilul a crescut, şi ea l-a adus fetei lui faraon; şi el i-a fost fiu. I-a pus numele Moise; „căci”, a zis ea, „l-am scos din ape.”

When the child grew older, she brought him to Pharaoh’s daughter, and he became her son. She named him Moses, “Because,” she said, “I drew him out of the water.”

Amikor Mózes felnövekedett, kiment atyjafiaihoz, és látta nehéz munkájukat. Meglátta, hogy egy egyiptomi férfi ver egy héber férfit az ő atyjafiai közül.

Lőn pedig azokban a napokban, mikor Mózes felnevekedék, kiméne az ő atyjafiaihoz és látá az ő nehéz munkájokat s látá, hogy egy Égyiptombeli férfi üt vala egy héber férfit az ő atyjafiai közűl.

And it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out unto his brethren, and looked on their burdens: and he spied an Egyptian smiting an Hebrew, one of his brethren.

În vremea aceea, Moise, crescând mare, a ieşit pe la fraţii săi şi a fost martor la muncile lor grele. A văzut pe un egiptean care bătea pe un evreu, unul dintre fraţii lui.

One day, when Moses had grown up, he went out to his people and looked on their burdens, and he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his people.

Mikor körültekintett, és látta, hogy senki sincs ott, agyonütötte az egyiptomit, és elrejtette a homokba.

Mikor ide-oda tekinte és látá hogy senki sincs, agyonüté az Égyiptombelit és elrejté azt a homokba.

And he looked this way and that way, and when he saw that there was no man, he slew the Egyptian, and hid him in the sand.

S-a uitat în toate părţile şi, văzând că nu este nimeni, a omorât pe egiptean şi l-a ascuns în nisip.

He looked this way and that, and seeing no one, he struck down the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.

Másnap is kiment, és íme, két héber férfi veszekedett. Azt mondta annak, aki bűnös volt: Miért vered a testvéredet?

Másnap is kiméne és ímé két héber férfi veszekedik vala. És monda annak a ki bűnös vala: Miért vered a te atyádfiát?

And when he went out the second day, behold, two men of the Hebrews strove together: and he said to him that did the wrong, Wherefore smitest thou thy fellow?

A ieşit şi în ziua următoare; şi iată că doi evrei se certau. A zis celui ce n-avea dreptate: „Pentru ce loveşti pe semenul tău?”

When he went out the next day, behold, two Hebrews were struggling together. And he said to the man in the wrong, “Why do you strike your companion?”

Az pedig így felelt: Kicsoda tett téged felettessé és bíróvá fölöttünk? Talán engem is meg akarsz ölni, ahogy megölted az egyiptomit? Mózes pedig megijedt, és azt mondta magában: Bizony, kitudódott a dolog.

Az pedig monda: Kicsoda tett téged fő emberré és bíróvá mi rajtunk? Talán engem is meg akarsz ölni, mint megöléd az égyiptomit? Mózes pedig megfélemlék és monda: Bizony kitudódott a dolog.

And he said, Who made thee a prince and a judge over us? intendest thou to kill me, as thou killedst the Egyptian? And Moses feared, and said, Surely this thing is known.

Şi omul acela a răspuns: „Cine te-a pus pe tine mai mare şi judecător peste noi? Nu cumva ai de gând să mă omori şi pe mine, cum ai omorât pe egipteanul acela?” Moise s-a temut şi a zis: „Nu mai încape îndoială că faptul este cunoscut.”

He answered, “Who made you a prince and a judge over us? Do you mean to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?” Then Moses was afraid, and thought, “Surely the thing is known.”

A fáraó is meghallotta ezt a dolgot, és Mózest halálra kerestette. De Mózes elmenekült a fáraó elől, és Midján földjén telepedett le. Ott leült egy kútnál.

A Faraó is meghallá azt a dolgot és Mózest halálra keresteti vala: de elfuta Mózes a Faraó elől és lakozék Midián földén; leűle pedig [egy] kútnál.

Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of Midian: and he sat down by a well.

Faraon a aflat ce se petrecuse şi căuta să omoare pe Moise. Dar Moise a fugit dinaintea lui faraon şi a locuit în ţara Madian. A şezut lângă o fântână.

When Pharaoh heard of it, he sought to kill Moses. But Moses fled from Pharaoh and stayed in the land of Midian. And he sat down by a well.

Midján papjának pedig hét leánya volt. Odamentek, vizet húztak, és telemerték a vályúkat, hogy megitassák atyjuk juhait.

Midián papjának pedig hét leánya vala, és oda menének és [vizet] húzának és tele merék a válúkat, hogy megitassák atyjoknak juhait.

Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters: and they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father's flock.

Preotul din Madian avea şapte fete. Ele au venit să scoată apă şi au umplut jgheaburile ca să adape turma tatălui lor.

A pásztorok is odamentek, és elűzték őket. Mózes pedig fölkelt, és segített a leányoknak, és megitatta juhaikat.

A pásztorok is oda menének és elűzék őket. Mózes pedig felkele és segítséggel lőn nékik és megitatá juhaikat.

And the shepherds came and drove them away: but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their flock.

Dar au venit păstorii şi le-au luat la goană. Atunci Moise s-a sculat, le-a ajutat şi le-a adăpat turma.

Mikor atyjukhoz, Reuélhez hazaértek, ő megkérdezte: Mi az oka, hogy ma ilyen hamar megjöttetek?

Mikor atyjokhoz Réhuelhez menének, monda ez: Mi az oka, hogy ma ilyen hamar megjöttetek?

And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that ye are come so soon to day?

Când s-au întors ele la tatăl lor Reuel, el a zis: „Pentru ce vă întoarceţi aşa de curând azi?”

When they came home to their father Reuel, he said, “How is it that you have come home so soon today?”

Ők így válaszoltak: Egy egyiptomi férfi oltalmazott meg minket a pásztoroktól, sőt még vizet is húzott nekünk, és megitatta a juhokat.

Ők pedig mondának: Egy égyiptombeli férfi oltalmaza minket a pásztorok ellen, annakfelette [vizet] is húzott nékünk, és megitatta a juhokat.

And they said, An Egyptian delivered us out of the hand of the shepherds, and also drew water enough for us, and watered the flock.

Ele au răspuns: „Un egiptean ne-a scăpat din mâna păstorilor şi chiar ne-a scos apă şi a adăpat turma.”

They said, “An Egyptian delivered us out of the hand of the shepherds and even drew water for us and watered the flock.”

Erre így szólt a leányainak: Hol van ő? Miért hagytátok ott azt a férfit? Hívjátok el, hogy egyen valamit!

S monda leányainak: És hol van ő? miért hagytátok ott azt a férfit? hívjátok el, hogy egyék kenyeret.

And he said unto his daughters, And where is he? why is it that ye have left the man? call him, that he may eat bread.

Şi el a zis fetelor: „Unde este? Pentru ce aţi lăsat acolo pe omul acela! Chemaţi-l să mănânce pâine!”

He said to his daughters, “Then where is he? Why have you left the man? Call him, that he may eat bread.”

Mózes jónak látta, hogy ott maradjon a férfinál, aki feleségül adta Mózeshez a leányát, Cippórát.

És tetszék Mózesnek, hogy ott maradjon e férfiúnál, és ez feleségül adá Mózesnek az ő leányát, Czipporát.

And Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter.

Moise s-a hotărât să locuiască la omul acela, care i-a dat de nevastă pe fiica sa Sefora.

And Moses was content to dwell with the man, and he gave Moses his daughter Zipporah.

Az asszony fiút szült, ő pedig Gérsómnak nevezte, mert azt mondta: Jövevény lettem idegen földön.

És fiat szűle ez és nevezé nevét Gersomnak, mert mondá: Jövevény voltam az idegen földön.

And she bare him a son, and he called his name Gershom: for he said, I have been a stranger in a strange land.

Ea a născut un fiu, căruia el i-a pus numele Gherşom „căci”, a zis el, „locuiesc ca străin într-o ţară străină.”

She gave birth to a son, and he called his name Gershom, for he said, “I have been a sojourner in a foreign land.”

E hosszú idő alatt meghalt Egyiptom királya, Izráel fiai pedig fohászkodtak a szolgaság miatt; kiáltottak, és a szolgaság miatt való jajkiáltásuk feljutott Istenhez.

És lőn ama hosszú idő alatt, meghala az Égyiptom királya, Izráel fiai pedig fohászkodnak vala a szolgaság miatt, és kiáltnak vala és feljuta a szolgaság miatt való kiáltásuk Istenhez.

And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage.

După multă vreme, împăratul Egiptului a murit; şi copiii lui Israel gemeau încă din pricina robiei şi scoteau strigăte deznădăjduite. Strigătele acestea, pe care li le smulgea robia, s-au suit până la Dumnezeu.

During those many days the king of Egypt died, and the people of Israel groaned because of their slavery and cried out for help. Their cry for rescue from slavery came up to God.

Meghallotta Isten a fohászkodásukat, és megemlékezett az Ábrahámmal, Izsákkal és Jákóbbal kötött szövetségéről.

És meghallá Isten az ő fohászkodásukat és megemlékezék Isten az Ábrahámmal, Izsákkal és Jákóbbal kötött szövetségéről.

And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.

Dumnezeu a auzit gemetele lor şi Şi-a adus aminte de legământul Său făcut cu Avraam, Isaac şi Iacov.

Rátekintett Isten Izráel fiaira, és gondja volt rájuk.

És megtekinté Isten az Izráel fiait és gondja vala rájok Istennek.

And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them.

Dumnezeu a privit spre copiii lui Israel şi a luat cunoştinţă de ei.

God saw the people of Israel—and God knew.
