Amikor az ÚR, a te Istened kipusztítja a nemzeteket, akiknek földjét neked adja az ÚR, a te Istened, és te birtokba veszed, és az ő városaikban és házaikban laksz,

Mikor kiírtja az Úr, a te Istened a nemzeteket, a kiknek földjét néked adja az Úr, a te Istened, és bírni fogod őket, és lakozol az ő városaikban és az ő házaikban:

When the LORD thy God hath cut off the nations, whose land the LORD thy God giveth thee, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their cities, and in their houses;

După ce Domnul Dumnezeul tău va nimici toate neamurile acelea a căror ţară ţi-o dă Domnul Dumnezeul tău, după ce le vei izgoni şi vei locui în cetăţile şi în casele lor,

“When the LORD your God cuts off the nations whose land the LORD your God is giving you, and you dispossess them and dwell in their cities and in their houses,

Thou shalt separate three cities for thee in the midst of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it.

să desparţi trei cetăţi în mijlocul ţării pe care ţi-o dă în stăpânire Domnul Dumnezeul tău.

you shall set apart three cities for yourselves in the land that the LORD your God is giving you to possess.

Készítsd el azokhoz az utat, és oszd három részre országod határát, amelyet az ÚR, a te Istened örökségül ad neked. Arra valók legyenek azok, hogy odamenekülhessen minden gyilkos.

Készítsd meg magadnak az utat [azokhoz], és oszszad három részre a te országod határát, a melyet az Úr, a te Istened ád néked örökségül; azok arra valók legyenek, hogy minden gyilkos oda meneküljön.

Thou shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer may flee thither.

Să faci drumuri şi să împarţi în trei părţi ţinutul ţării pe care ţi-o va da ca moştenire Domnul Dumnezeul tău. Să faci aşa, pentru ca orice ucigaş să poată fugi în cetăţile acestea.

You shall measure the distances and divide into three parts the area of the land that the LORD your God gives you as a possession, so that any manslayer can flee to them.

Ez a gyilkos törvénye, aki odamenekül: aki nem szándékosan ölte meg felebarátját, és nem gyűlölte őt azelőtt, életben maradhat.

Ez pedig a gyilkos törvénye, a ki oda menekül, hogy élve maradjon: A ki nem szándékosan öli meg az ő felebarátját, és nem gyűlöli vala azt azelőtt;

And this is the case of the slayer, which shall flee thither, that he may live: Whoso killeth his neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in time past;

Legea aceasta să fie pentru ucigaşul care va fugi acolo ca să-şi scape viaţa, când va omorî fără voie pe aproapele său, fără să-i fi fost vrăjmaş mai înainte.

“This is the provision for the manslayer, who by fleeing there may save his life. If anyone kills his neighbor unintentionally without having hated him in the past—

Aki például elmegy a felebarátjával az erdőre fát vágni, és úgy meglódul a keze a fejszével, hogy amikor lesújt a fára, leesik a vas a nyeléről, és eltalálja vele a felebarátját, hogy az meghal, az ilyen meneküljön e városok egyikébe, hogy életben maradjon.

A ki [például] elmegy az ő felebarátjával az erdőre fát vágni, és meglódul a keze a fejszével, hogy levágja a fát, és leesik a vas a nyeléről, és úgy találja az ő felebarátját, hogy az meghal: az ilyen meneküljön e városok egyikébe, hogy élve maradjon.

As when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall flee unto one of those cities, and live:

Aşa, de pildă, un om se va duce să taie lemne în pădure cu un alt om; ridică securea cu mâna, ca să taie copacul, fierul scapă din coadă, loveşte pe tovarăşul său şi-l omoară. Atunci el să fugă într-una din cetăţile acestea ca să-şi scape viaţa;

as when someone goes into the forest with his neighbor to cut wood, and his hand swings the axe to cut down a tree, and the head slips from the handle and strikes his neighbor so that he dies—he may flee to one of these cities and live,

Különben a vérbosszuló rokon űzőbe veszi szívének fölindulásában, és utoléri, ha hosszú az út, és agyonüti őt, holott nem méltó a halálra, és nem gyűlölte felebarátját azelőtt.

Különben a vérbosszuló rokon űzőbe veszi az ő szívének búsulásában, és eléri, ha az út hosszú leend, és agyon üti őt, holott nem méltó a halálra, mivel azelőtt nem gyűlölte azt.

Lest the avenger of the blood pursue the slayer, while his heart is hot, and overtake him, because the way is long, and slay him; whereas he was not worthy of death, inasmuch as he hated him not in time past.

pentru ca nu cumva răzbunătorul sângelui, aprins de mânie şi urmărind pe ucigaş, să-l ajungă, fiind prea lung drumul, şi să lovească de moarte pe cel ce nu era vinovat de moarte, fiindcă mai înainte nu fusese vrăjmaş aproapelui său.

lest the avenger of blood in hot anger pursue the manslayer and overtake him, because the way is long, and strike him fatally, though the man did not deserve to die, since he had not hated his neighbor in the past.

Azért azt parancsolom neked: válassz magadnak három várost.

Azért én parancsolom néked, mondván: Három várost válaszsz magadnak.

Wherefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt separate three cities for thee.

De aceea îţi dau porunca aceasta: Să desparţi trei cetăţi.

Therefore I command you, You shall set apart three cities.

Ha pedig az ÚR, a te Istened kiterjeszti határodat, amint megesküdött atyáidnak, és neked adja mind az egész földet, amelynek megadását megígérte atyáidnak

Ha pedig az Úr, a te Istened kiterjeszti a te határodat, a mint megesküdt a te atyáidnak, és néked adja mind az egész földet, a melynek megadását megígérte volt a te atyáidnak;

And if the LORD thy God enlarge thy coast, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, and give thee all the land which he promised to give unto thy fathers;

Când Domnul Dumnezeul tău îţi va lărgi hotarele, cum a jurat părinţilor tăi, şi-ţi va da toată ţara pe care a făgăduit părinţilor tăi că ţi-o va da,

And if the LORD your God enlarges your territory, as he has sworn to your fathers, and gives you all the land that he promised to give to your fathers—

– ha megtartod mindazokat a parancsolatokat, és megteszed mindazt, amit ma parancsolok neked, ha szereted az URat, a te Istenedet, és mindig az ő útján jársz –, akkor e három mellé jelölj ki még három várost,

(Hogyha megtartod mind e parancsolatot, megtévén azt, a mit én ma parancsolok néked, [tudniillik], hogy szeressed az Urat, a te Istenedet, és járj az ő utain minden időben): akkor e háromhoz szerezz még három várost.

If thou shalt keep all these commandments to do them, which I command thee this day, to love the LORD thy God, and to walk ever in his ways; then shalt thou add three cities more for thee, beside these three:

– numai să păzeşti şi să împlineşti toate aceste porunci pe care ţi le dau astăzi, ca să iubeşti pe Domnul Dumnezeul tău şi să umbli întotdeauna pe căile Lui – atunci să mai adaugi trei cetăţi la cele trei,

provided you are careful to keep all this commandment, which I command you today, by loving the LORD your God and by walking ever in his ways—then you shall add three other cities to these three,

hogy ártatlan vér ne omoljon ki földeden, amelyet az ÚR, a te Istened ad neked örökségül, és hogy ne terheljen vérontás.

Hogy ártatlan vér ne ontassék ki a te földeden, a melyet az Úr, a te Istened ád néked örökségül, és hogy a vér ne legyen rajtad.

That innocent blood be not shed in thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and so blood be upon thee.

pentru ca să nu fie vărsat sângele celui nevinovat în mijlocul ţării pe care ţi-o dă de moştenire Domnul Dumnezeul tău, şi astfel să fii vinovat de omor.

lest innocent blood be shed in your land that the LORD your God is giving you for an inheritance, and so the guilt of bloodshed be upon you.

De ha valaki gyűlöli felebarátját, és lesbe áll és rátámad, és úgy megüti, hogy az belehal, és azután bemenekül e városok egyikébe,

De hogyha lesz valaki, a ki gyűlöli az ő felebarátját, és meglesi azt, és reá támad és úgy üti meg, hogy meghal, és bemenekül valamelyikbe e városok közül:

But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities:

Dar dacă un om fuge într-una din aceste cetăţi, după ce a întins laţuri aproapelui său din vrăjmăşie împotriva lui, după ce s-a aruncat asupra lui şi l-a lovit aşa încât i-a pricinuit moartea,

“But if anyone hates his neighbor and lies in wait for him and attacks him and strikes him fatally so that he dies, and he flees into one of these cities,

akkor küldjenek érte a város vénei, hozassák ki onnan, és adják a vérbosszuló rokon kezébe, hogy meghaljon.

Then the elders of his city shall send and fetch him thence, and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die.

then the elders of his city shall send and take him from there, and hand him over to the avenger of blood, so that he may die.

Ne nézz rá szánakozva, hanem távolítsd el az ártatlanul kiontott vért Izráelből, hogy jó dolgod legyen.

Ne nézz reá szánalommal, hanem tisztítsd ki az ártatlan vérontást Izráelből, hogy jól legyen dolgod.

Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee.

Să n-ai milă de el şi să ştergi din Israel sângele celui nevinovat, ca să fii fericit.

Your eye shall not pity him, but you shall purge the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, so that it may be well with you.

Felebarátod határkövét ne mozdítsd el, azt a határt, amelyet az ősök vontak meg az örökségedben, amikor örökölni fogsz azon a földön, amelyet az ÚR, a te Istened ad neked birtokul.

A te felebarátodnak határát el ne told, a mely határt az ősök vetettek a te örökségedben, a melyet örökölni fogsz azon a földön, a melyet az Úr, a te Istened ád néked, hogy bírjad azt.

Thou shalt not remove thy neighbour's landmark, which they of old time have set in thine inheritance, which thou shalt inherit in the land that the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it.

Să nu muţi hotarele aproapelui tău, puse de strămoşii tăi, în moştenirea pe care vei avea-o în ţara pe care ţi-o dă în stăpânire Domnul Dumnezeul tău.

“You shall not move your neighbor’s landmark, which the men of old have set, in the inheritance that you will hold in the land that the LORD your God is giving you to possess.

Nem állhat elő egy tanú senki ellen, semmiféle hamisság és semmiféle bűn dolgában. Bármilyen bűnnel vétkezett valaki, csak két vagy három tanú szaván múlhat a döntés.

Ne álljon elő egy tanú senki ellen semmiféle hamisság és semmiféle bűn miatt; akármilyen bűnben bűnös valaki, két tanú szavára vagy három tanú szavára álljon a dolog.

One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

Un singur martor nu va fi deajuns împotriva unui om, ca să adeverească vreo nelegiuire sau vreun păcat oarecare; un fapt nu va putea fi întemeiat decât pe mărturia a doi sau trei martori.

“A single witness shall not suffice against a person for any crime or for any wrong in connection with any offense that he has committed. Only on the evidence of two witnesses or of three witnesses shall a charge be established.

Ha valaki ellen hamis tanú áll elő, hogy hamissággal vádolja,

Ha valaki ellen gonosz tanú áll elő, hogy pártütéssel vádolja őt:

If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong;

Când un martor mincinos se va ridica împotriva cuiva ca să-l învinuiască de vreo nelegiuire,

If a malicious witness arises to accuse a person of wrongdoing,

akkor álljon az a két pereskedő az ÚR színe elé, a papok és a bírák elé, akik abban az időben hivatalban lesznek.

Akkor álljon az a két ember, a kiknek ilyen perök van, az Úr elé, a papok és a bírák elé, a kik abban az időben lesznek;

Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days;

cei doi oameni cu pricina să se înfăţişeze înaintea Domnului, înaintea preoţilor şi judecătorilor care vor fi atunci în slujbă.

then both parties to the dispute shall appear before the LORD, before the priests and the judges who are in office in those days.

A bírák vizsgálják meg jól a dolgot, és ha hazudott a tanú felebarátja ellen,

És a bírák vizsgálják meg jól [a dolgot], és ha hazug tanú lesz a tanú, a ki hazugságot szólott az ő atyjafia ellen:

And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother;

Judecătorii să facă cercetări amănunţite. Dacă se va afla că martorul acela este un martor mincinos şi că a făcut o mărturisire mincinoasă împotriva fratelui său,

The judges shall inquire diligently, and if the witness is a false witness and has accused his brother falsely,

azt tegyétek vele, amit ő szándékozott tenni felebarátjával. Így tisztítsd ki a gonoszt magad közül,

Úgy cselekedjetek azzal, a mint ő szándékozott cselekedni az ő atyjafiával. Így tisztítsd ki közüled a gonoszt;

Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.

atunci să-i faceţi cum avea el de gând să facă fratelui său. Să scoţi astfel răul din mijlocul tău.

then you shall do to him as he had meant to do to his brother. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.

hogy akik megmaradnak, hallják meg, és féljenek, és többször ne kövessenek el közöttetek ilyen gonosz dolgot.

Hogy a kik megmaradnak, hallják meg, és féljenek, és többször ne cselekedjenek te közötted ilyen gonosz dolgot.

And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you.

În felul acesta, ceilalţi vor auzi şi se vor teme şi nu se va mai face o faptă aşa de nelegiuită în mijlocul tău.

And the rest shall hear and fear, and shall never again commit any such evil among you.

Ne nézz rá szánakozva. Életet életért, szemet szemért, fogat fogért, kezet kézért, lábat lábért.

Ne nézz reá szánalommal; lelket lélekért, szemet szemért, fogat fogért, kezet kézért, lábat lábért.

And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

Să n-ai nicio milă, ci să ceri: viaţă pentru viaţă, ochi pentru ochi, dinte pentru dinte, mână pentru mână, picior pentru picior.

Your eye shall not pity. It shall be life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.
