Ezeket a szavakat mondta Mózes az egész Izráelnek a Jordánon túl a pusztában, a mezőségen, a Vörös-tengerrel szemben, Párán és Tófel, Lábán és Hacérót és Dí-Záháb között.

These be the words which Moses spake unto all Israel on this side Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain over against the Red sea, between Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Dizahab.

These are the words that Moses spoke to all Israel beyond the Jordan in the wilderness, in the Arabah opposite Suph, between Paran and Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth, and Dizahab.

It is eleven days’ journey from Horeb by the way of Mount Seir to Kadesh-barnea.

A negyvenedik esztendőben, a tizenegyedik hónapban, a hónap első napján történt, hogy elmondta Mózes Izráel fiainak mindazt, amit az ÚR parancsolt neki felőlük,

And it came to pass in the fortieth year, in the eleventh month, on the first day of the month, that Moses spake unto the children of Israel, according unto all that the LORD had given him in commandment unto them;

În al patruzecilea an, în luna a unsprezecea, în ziua întâi a lunii, Moise a vorbit copiilor lui Israel şi le-a spus tot ce-i poruncise Domnul să le spună.

In the fortieth year, on the first day of the eleventh month, Moses spoke to the people of Israel according to all that the LORD had given him in commandment to them,

miután megverte Szíhónt, az emóriak királyát, aki Hesbónban lakott, meg Ógot, Básán királyát, aki Astárótban lakott Edrei mellett.

After he had slain Sihon the king of the Amorites, which dwelt in Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, which dwelt at Astaroth in Edrei:

Aceasta era după ce a bătut pe Sihon, împăratul amoriţilor, care locuia la Hesbon, şi pe Og, împăratul Basanului, care locuia la Aştarot şi la Edrei.

after he had defeated Sihon the king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, who lived in Ashtaroth and in Edrei.

Így kezdte Mózes magyarázni ezt a törvényt a Jordánon túl, Móáb földjén:

On this side Jordan, in the land of Moab, began Moses to declare this law, saying,

Az ÚR, a mi Istenünk, így szólt hozzánk a Hóreben: „Elég ideig laktatok e hegy alatt.

Az Úr, a mi Istenünk szólott nékünk a Hóreben, ezt mondván: Elég ideig laktatok e hegy alatt;

The LORD our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount:

„Domnul, Dumnezeul nostru, ne-a vorbit la Horeb, zicând: „Aţi locuit destulă vreme în muntele acesta.

“The LORD our God said to us in Horeb, ‘You have stayed long enough at this mountain.

Forduljatok meg, induljatok, menjetek az emóriak hegyére és a vele szomszédos vidékekre, a mezőségre, a dombvidékre dél felé, a tenger partjára, a kánaániak földjére és a Libánonra, a nagy folyóvízig, az Eufrátesz folyamig.

Forduljatok meg, és induljatok, és menjetek az Emoreusok hegyére, és annak minden szomszéd vidékére, a mezőségen, és a hegyes-völgyes földön, és dél felé, és a tengernek partján, a Kananeusok földére és a Libánusra, a nagy folyóvízig, az Eufrates folyóig.

Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates.

Întoarceţi-vă şi plecaţi; duceţi-vă la muntele amoriţilor şi în toate împrejurimile: în câmpie, pe munte, în vale, în partea de miazăzi, pe ţărmul mării, în ţara canaaniţilor şi în Liban, până la râul cel mare, râul Eufrat.

Turn and take your journey, and go to the hill country of the Amorites and to all their neighbors in the Arabah, in the hill country and in the lowland and in the Negeb and by the seacoast, the land of the Canaanites, and Lebanon, as far as the great river, the river Euphrates.

Íme, elétek adtam ezt a földet. Menjetek be, és vegyétek birtokba azt a földet, amely felől megesküdött az ÚR a ti atyáitoknak, Ábrahámnak, Izsáknak és Jákóbnak, hogy nekik és utánuk az ő utódaiknak adja.”

Ímé előtökbe adtam a földet; menjetek be, és bírjátok azt a földet, a mely felől megesküdt az Úr a ti atyáitoknak, Ábrahámnak, Izsáknak és Jákóbnak, hogy nékik adja, és ő utánok az ő magvoknak.

Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them.

See, I have set the land before you. Go in and take possession of the land that the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give to them and to their offspring after them.’

Abban az időben azt mondtam nektek: „Nem tudom egyedül gondotokat viselni.

És szólottam vala néktek abban az időben, ezt mondván: Nem viselhetlek egymagam titeket;

And I spake unto you at that time, saying, I am not able to bear you myself alone:

În vremea aceea, v-am spus: „Eu nu vă pot purta singur.

“At that time I said to you, ‘I am not able to bear you by myself.

Az ÚR, a ti Istenetek annyira megsokasított titeket, hogy most már oly sokan vagytok, mint az égen a csillag.

The LORD your God hath multiplied you, and, behold, ye are this day as the stars of heaven for multitude.

Domnul Dumnezeul vostru v-a înmulţit, şi azi sunteţi foarte mulţi la număr, ca stelele cerului.

The LORD your God has multiplied you, and behold, you are today as numerous as the stars of heaven.

Az ÚR, a ti atyáitok Istene szaporítson meg benneteket ezerszeresére annak, ahányan most vagytok, és áldjon meg, ahogyan megígérte nektek!

Az Úr, a ti atyáitoknak Istene szaporítson meg titeket ezerszerte is inkább mint most vagytok, és áldjon meg titeket, a miképen igérte néktek!

(The LORD God of your fathers make you a thousand times so many more as ye are, and bless you, as he hath promised you!)

Domnul Dumnezeul părinţilor voştri să vă mărească de o mie de ori pe atât şi să vă binecuvânteze, după cum a făgăduit!

May the LORD, the God of your fathers, make you a thousand times as many as you are and bless you, as he has promised you!

Hogyan hordozhatnám egymagam a bajaitokat, terheiteket és peres ügyeteket?

How can I myself alone bear your cumbrance, and your burden, and your strife?

How can I bear by myself the weight and burden of you and your strife?

Válasszatok magatoknak a ti törzseitekből bölcs, értelmes és tapasztalt férfiakat, és én elöljáróitokká teszem őket.”

Take you wise men, and understanding, and known among your tribes, and I will make them rulers over you.

Choose for your tribes wise, understanding, and experienced men, and I will appoint them as your heads.’

Ti így feleltetek nekem: „Helyesen mondtad, hogy mit tegyünk.”

And ye answered me, and said, The thing which thou hast spoken is good for us to do.

And you answered me, ‘The thing that you have spoken is good for us to do.’

Vettem tehát törzseitek főembereit, bölcs és ismert férfiakat, és elöljáróitokká tettem őket. Ezredesekké, századosokká, ötvenedesekké, tizedesekké és tiszttartókká minden törzsben.

So I took the chief of your tribes, wise men, and known, and made them heads over you, captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, and captains over fifties, and captains over tens, and officers among your tribes.

So I took the heads of your tribes, wise and experienced men, and set them as heads over you, commanders of thousands, commanders of hundreds, commanders of fifties, commanders of tens, and officers, throughout your tribes.

Bíráitoknak pedig ezt parancsoltam abban az időben: „Hallgassátok meg testvéreiteket, és igazságosan ítéljetek mindenkinek az ügyében, akár testvéretekkel, akár jövevénnyel van dolgotok!

És megparancsolám abban az időben a ti biráitoknak, mondván: Hallgassátok ki atyátokfiait, és ítéljetek igazságosan mindenkit, az ő atyjafiaival és jövevényeivel egyben.

And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him.

Am dat, în acelaşi timp, următoarea poruncă judecătorilor voştri: „Să ascultaţi pe fraţii voştri şi să judecaţi după dreptate neînţelegerile fiecăruia cu fratele lui sau cu străinul.

And I charged your judges at that time, ‘Hear the cases between your brothers, and judge righteously between a man and his brother or the alien who is with him.

Ne legyetek személyválogatók az ítéletben: a kicsit ugyanúgy hallgassátok meg, mint a nagyot. Ne féljetek senkitől, mert az ítélet Istené. Ami pedig nehéznek látszik nektek, hozzátok énelém, és én meghallgatom.”

Ne legyetek személyválogatók az ítéletben: kicsinyt úgy, mint nagyot hallgassatok ki; ne féljetek senkitől, mert az ítélet az Istené; a mi pedig nehéznek tetszik néktek, én előmbe hozzátok, és én meghallgatom azt.

Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God's: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it.

Să nu căutaţi la faţa oamenilor în judecăţile voastre; să ascultaţi pe cel mic ca şi pe cel mare; să nu vă temeţi de nimeni, căci Dumnezeu e Cel care face dreptate. Şi când veţi găsi o pricină prea grea, s-o aduceţi înaintea mea, ca s-o aud.”

You shall not be partial in judgment. You shall hear the small and the great alike. You shall not be intimidated by anyone, for the judgment is God’s. And the case that is too hard for you, you shall bring to me, and I will hear it.’

Így parancsoltam meg nektek abban az időben mindent, amit tennetek kell.

És megparancsoltam néktek abban az időben mindent, a mit cselekedjetek.

And I commanded you at that time all the things which ye should do.

Aşa v-am poruncit, în vremea aceea, tot ce aveaţi de făcut.

And I commanded you at that time all the things that you should do.

Azután elindultunk a Hórebtől, és bejártuk azt a nagy és félelmetes pusztát, amelyet az emóriak hegye felé menve láttatok, ahogy megparancsolta nekünk az ÚR, a mi Istenünk. Végül eljutottunk Kádés-Barneába.

Azután elindulánk a Hórebtől, és bejártuk ama nagy és rettenetes pusztát, a melyet láttatok, az Emoreusok hegyének menve, a miképen parancsolta volt az Úr, a mi Istenünk nékünk; és eljutánk Kádes-Barneához.

And when we departed from Horeb, we went through all that great and terrible wilderness, which ye saw by the way of the mountain of the Amorites, as the LORD our God commanded us; and we came to Kadeshbarnea.

Am plecat din Horeb şi am străbătut tot pustiul acela mare şi grozav pe care l-aţi văzut; am luat drumul care duce în muntele amoriţilor, cum ne poruncise Domnul Dumnezeul nostru, şi am ajuns la Cades-Barnea.

“Then we set out from Horeb and went through all that great and terrifying wilderness that you saw, on the way to the hill country of the Amorites, as the LORD our God commanded us. And we came to Kadesh-barnea.

Ott azt mondtam nektek: „Eljutottatok az emóriak hegyvidékére, amelyet nekünk ad az ÚR, a mi Istenünk.

És mondám néktek: Eljutottatok az Emoreusok hegyéig, a melyet az Úr, a mi Istenünk ád nékünk.

And I said unto you, Ye are come unto the mountain of the Amorites, which the LORD our God doth give unto us.

Şi eu v-am zis: „Aţi ajuns la muntele amoriţilor, pe care ni-l dă Domnul Dumnezeul nostru.

And I said to you, ‘You have come to the hill country of the Amorites, which the LORD our God is giving us.

Íme, eléd adta az ÚR, a te Istened ezt a földet: menj föl, vedd birtokodba, amint megmondta neked az ÚR, atyáid Istene. Ne félj, és meg ne rettenj!”

Ímé elődbe adta az Úr, a te Istened ezt a földet: menj fel, bírjad azt, a miképen megmondotta az Úr, a te atyáidnak Istene néked; ne félj, és meg ne rettenj!

Behold, the LORD thy God hath set the land before thee: go up and possess it, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged.

Iată că Domnul Dumnezeul tău îţi pune ţara înainte; suie-te, ia-o în stăpânire, cum ţi-a spus Domnul Dumnezeul părinţilor tăi; nu te teme şi nu te înspăimânta.”

See, the LORD your God has set the land before you. Go up, take possession, as the LORD, the God of your fathers, has told you. Do not fear or be dismayed.’

Ti pedig mindnyájan hozzám jöttetek, és azt mondtátok: „Küldjünk előre embereket, hogy kémleljék ki nekünk azt a földet, és hozzanak nekünk hírt az út felől, hogy melyiken menjünk föl, és a városok felől, amelyekbe be fogunk vonulni.”

Ti pedig mindnyájan hozzám járulátok és mondátok: Küldjünk embereket előre, hogy kémleljék meg nékünk azt a földet, és hozzanak nékünk hírt az út felől, a melyen felmenjünk, és a városok felől, a melyekbe bevonuljunk.

And ye came near unto me every one of you, and said, We will send men before us, and they shall search us out the land, and bring us word again by what way we must go up, and into what cities we shall come.

Voi v-aţi apropiat cu toţii de mine şi aţi zis: „Să trimitem nişte oameni înaintea noastră, ca să iscodească ţara şi să ne aducă răspuns cu privire la drumul pe care ne vom sui în ea şi asupra cetăţilor în care vom ajunge.”

Then all of you came near me and said, ‘Let us send men before us, that they may explore the land for us and bring us word again of the way by which we must go up and the cities into which we shall come.’

Tetszett nekem ez a beszéd, és kiválasztottam közületek tizenkét férfit, minden törzsből egyet.

És tetszék nékem ez a beszéd, és vevék közületek tizenkét férfiút, minden törzsből egyet-egyet.

And the saying pleased me well: and I took twelve men of you, one of a tribe:

Părerea aceasta mi s-a părut bună; şi am luat doisprezece oameni dintre voi, câte un om de fiecare seminţie.

The thing seemed good to me, and I took twelve men from you, one man from each tribe.

Ezek elindultak, és fölmentek a hegyvidékre, és eljutottak az Eskól-völgyig, és kikémlelték.

És fordulának és felmenének a hegyre, és eljutának az Eskól völgyéig, és kikémlelék azt.

And they turned and went up into the mountain, and came unto the valley of Eshcol, and searched it out.

Ei au plecat, au trecut muntele şi au ajuns până la valea Eşcol şi au iscodit ţara.

And they turned and went up into the hill country, and came to the Valley of Eshcol and spied it out.

Szedtek a kezükbe annak a földnek a gyümölcséből, és elhozták hozzánk. Hírt is hoztak nekünk, azt mondták: „Jó az a föld, amelyet az ÚR, a mi Istenünk ad nekünk.”

És vőnek kezeikbe annak a földnek gyümölcséből, és alá hozák hozzánk, és hírt hozának nékünk és mondának: Jó az a föld, a melyet az Úr, a mi Istenünk ád nékünk.

And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and brought us word again, and said, It is a good land which the LORD our God doth give us.

Au luat în mâini din roadele ţării şi ni le-au adus; ne-au făcut o dare de seamă şi au zis: „Bună ţară ne dă Domnul Dumnezeul nostru.”

And they took in their hands some of the fruit of the land and brought it down to us, and brought us word again and said, ‘It is a good land that the LORD our God is giving us.’

Ti azonban nem akartatok fölmenni, hanem pártot ütöttetek az ÚRnak, a ti Isteneteknek parancsa ellen.

De ti nem akartatok felmenni; hanem pártot ütétek az Úrnak, a ti Isteneteknek parancsa ellen.

Notwithstanding ye would not go up, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God:

Dar voi n-aţi vrut să vă suiţi în ea şi v-aţi răzvrătit împotriva poruncii Domnului Dumnezeului vostru.

“Yet you would not go up, but rebelled against the command of the LORD your God.

Zúgolódtatok a sátraitokban, és azt mondtátok: „Azért hozott ki bennünket az ÚR Egyiptom földjéről, mert gyűlöl minket. Az emóriak kezébe akar adni minket, hogy elpusztítson.

És zúgolódátok a ti sátoraitokban, és mondátok: mivelhogy gyűlöl minket az Úr, azért hozott ki minket Égyiptom földéből, hogy adjon minket az Emoreus kezébe, és elpusztítson minket.

And ye murmured in your tents, and said, Because the LORD hated us, he hath brought us forth out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us.

Aţi cârtit în corturile voastre şi aţi zis: „Pentru că ne urăşte, de aceea ne-a scos Domnul din ţara Egiptului, ca să ne dea în mâinile amoriţilor şi să ne nimicească.

And you murmured in your tents and said, ‘Because the LORD hated us he has brought us out of the land of Egypt, to give us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us.

Hova mehetnénk?” Testvéreink megrettentették a szívünket, amikor azt mondták: „Nagyobb és szálasabb nálunk az a nép. Nagy városokat láttunk, a falaik égig érnek, sőt még Anák-fiakat is láttunk ott!”

Hová mennénk fel mi? A mi atyánkfiai megrettenték a mi szíveinket, mondván: Az a nép nagyobb és szálasabb nálunknál; a városok nagyok és megerősíttettek az égig; még Anák fiakat is láttunk ott!

Whither shall we go up? our brethren have discouraged our heart, saying, The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and walled up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakims there.

Unde să ne suim? Fraţii noştri ne-au înmuiat inima, zicând: „Poporul acela este un popor mai mare şi mai înalt la statură decât noi; cetăţile sunt mari şi întărite până la cer; ba încă, am văzut acolo şi copii de ai lui Anac.”

Where are we going up? Our brothers have made our hearts melt, saying, “The people are greater and taller than we. The cities are great and fortified up to heaven. And besides, we have seen the sons of the Anakim there.”’

Akkor azt mondtam nektek: „Ne rettegjetek, és ne féljetek tőlük.

Akkor mondám néktek: Ne rettegjetek és ne féljetek azoktól;

Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be afraid of them.

Eu v-am zis: „Nu vă înspăimântaţi şi nu vă fie frică de ei.

Then I said to you, ‘Do not be in dread or afraid of them.

Az ÚR, a ti Istenetek előttetek megy, ő harcol értetek ugyanúgy, ahogy Egyiptomban cselekedett veletek szemetek láttára;

Az Úr, a ti Istenetek, a ki előttetek megy, ő hadakozik ti érettetek mind a szerint, a mint cselekedett vala veletek Égyiptomban a ti szemeitek előtt;

The LORD your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes;

Domnul Dumnezeul vostru care merge înaintea voastră, Se va lupta El însuşi pentru voi, potrivit cu tot ce a făcut pentru voi sub ochii voştri în Egipt.

The LORD your God who goes before you will himself fight for you, just as he did for you in Egypt before your eyes,

és a pusztában is láttad, hogy úgy hordozott téged az ÚR, a te Istened, ahogy az ember a fiát hordozza, mind az egész úton, amelyen jártatok, míg erre a helyre nem jutottatok.”

És a pusztában, a hol láttad, hogy úgy hordozott téged az Úr, a te Istened, a miképen hordozza az ember az ő fiát, mind az egész úton, a melyen jártatok, míg jutátok e helyre.

And in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the LORD thy God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came into this place.

Apoi în pustiu, ai văzut că Domnul Dumnezeul tău te-a purtat cum poartă un om pe fiul său, pe tot drumul pe care l-aţi făcut până la sosirea voastră în locul acesta.”

and in the wilderness, where you have seen how the LORD your God carried you, as a man carries his son, all the way that you went until you came to this place.’

Mégsem hittetek az ÚRnak, a ti Isteneteknek,

Mindazáltal nem hivétek az Úrnak, a ti Isteneteknek.

Yet in this thing ye did not believe the LORD your God,

Cu toate acestea, voi n-aţi avut încredere în Domnul Dumnezeul vostru

Yet in spite of this word you did not believe the LORD your God,

aki előttetek járt az úton, éjjel tűzben és nappal felhőben, hogy helyet szemeljen ki nektek, ahol táborozhattok, hogy megmutassa nektek az utat, amelyen járhattok.

A ki előttetek jár vala az úton, hogy helyet szemeljen ki néktek, a hol táborozzatok, éjjel tűzben, hogy megmutassa néktek az útat, a melyen járjatok, és felhőben nappal.

Who went in the way before you, to search you out a place to pitch your tents in, in fire by night, to shew you by what way ye should go, and in a cloud by day.

care mergea înaintea voastră pe drum, ca să vă caute un loc de poposire: noaptea într-un foc, ca să vă arate drumul pe care trebuia să mergeţi, şi ziua într-un nor.

who went before you in the way to seek you out a place to pitch your tents, in fire by night and in the cloud by day, to show you by what way you should go.

Mikor az ÚR meghallotta beszédeteket, megharagudott, és megesküdött e szavakkal:

Meghallá pedig az Úr beszédetek szavát, és megharaguvék, és megesküvék, mondván:

And the LORD heard the voice of your words, and was wroth, and sware, saying,

Domnul a auzit glasul cuvintelor voastre. S-a mâniat şi a jurat, zicând:

“And the LORD heard your words and was angered, and he swore,

„E gonosz nemzedékből senki sem látja meg azt a jó földet, amely felől megesküdtem, hogy atyáitoknak adom.

E gonosz nemzetségből való emberek közül egy sem látja meg azt a jó földet, a mely felől megesküdtem, hogy a ti atyáitoknak adom;

Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see that good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers.

„Niciunul din bărbaţii care fac parte din acest neam rău nu va vedea ţara aceea bună pe care am jurat că o voi da părinţilor voştri,

‘Not one of these men of this evil generation shall see the good land that I swore to give to your fathers,

Kivéve Kálébot, Jefunne fiát. Ő meglátja, és neki és fiainak adom azt a földet, amelyre lábát tette, mert tökéletesen követte az URat.”

Kivéve Kálebet, a Jefunné fiát; ő meglátja azt, és ő néki adom azt a földet, a melyet tapodott, és az ő fiainak, mert tökéletességgel követte az Urat.

Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and to him will I give the land that he hath trodden upon, and to his children, because he hath wholly followed the LORD.

afară de Caleb, fiul lui Iefune. El o va vedea, şi ţara în care a mers, o voi da lui şi copiilor lui, pentru că a urmat în totul calea Domnului.”

except Caleb the son of Jephunneh. He shall see it, and to him and to his children I will give the land on which he has trodden, because he has wholly followed the LORD!’

Még rám is megharagudott az ÚR miattatok, és azt mondta: „Te sem mész be oda!

Még én reám is megharaguvék az Úr miattatok, mondván: Te sem mégy oda be!

Also the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, saying, Thou also shalt not go in thither.

Domnul S-a mâniat şi pe mine, din pricina voastră, şi a zis: „Nici tu nu vei intra în ea.

Even with me the LORD was angry on your account and said, ‘You also shall not go in there.

Józsué, Nún fia, aki előtted áll, ő megy be oda. Ezért biztasd őt, mert ő osztja el az örökséget Izráelnek.

But Joshua the son of Nun, which standeth before thee, he shall go in thither: encourage him: for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.

Iosua, fiul lui Nun, slujitorul tău, va intra în ea; întăreşte-l, căci el va pune pe Israel în stăpânirea ţării aceleia.

Joshua the son of Nun, who stands before you, he shall enter. Encourage him, for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.

De gyermekeitek, akikről azt mondtátok, hogy prédává lesznek, és fiaitok, akik még nem tudják, mi a jó, és mi a gonosz, ők bemennek majd oda, mert nekik adom, és ők veszik birtokba.

És a ti kicsinyeitek, a kikről szólátok hogy prédául lesznek, és a ti fiaitok, a kik nem tudnak most sem jót, sem gonoszt, azok mennek be oda, mert nékik adom azt, és ők bírják azt.

Moreover your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it.

Şi pruncii voştri, despre care aţi zis: „Vor fi de jaf!” şi fiii voştri, care nu cunosc azi nici binele nici răul, ei vor intra în ea; da, lor le-o voi da, şi ei o vor stăpâni.

And as for your little ones, who you said would become a prey, and your children, who today have no knowledge of good or evil, they shall go in there. And to them I will give it, and they shall possess it.

Ti pedig forduljatok vissza, és induljatok a pusztába, a Vörös-tenger felé.”

But as for you, turn you, and take your journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea.

Dar voi, întoarceţi-vă înapoi şi plecaţi în pustiu, înspre Marea Roşie.”

But as for you, turn, and journey into the wilderness in the direction of the Red Sea.’

Erre azt feleltétek nekem: „Vétkeztünk az ÚR ellen. Fölvonulunk és harcolunk, pontosan úgy, ahogy az ÚR, a mi Istenünk parancsolta nekünk!” És mindegyikőtök felövezte magát a maga harci eszközeivel, és készek voltatok fölmenni arra a hegyre.

És azt felelétek, és azt mondátok nékem: Vétkeztünk az Úr ellen, mi felmegyünk és hadakozunk mind a szerint, a mint parancsolta nékünk az Úr, a mi Istenünk! És felövezétek magatokat, kiki az ő harczi eszközeivel, és készek valátok felmenni a hegyre.

Then ye answered and said unto me, We have sinned against the LORD, we will go up and fight, according to all that the LORD our God commanded us. And when ye had girded on every man his weapons of war, ye were ready to go up into the hill.

Voi aţi răspuns şi mi-aţi zis: „Am păcătuit împotriva Domnului; ne vom sui şi ne vom bate, cum ne-a poruncit Domnul Dumnezeul nostru.” Şi v-aţi încins fiecare armele şi v-aţi încumetat să vă suiţi pe munte.

“Then you answered me, ‘We have sinned against the LORD. We ourselves will go up and fight, just as the LORD our God commanded us.’ And every one of you fastened on his weapons of war and thought it easy to go up into the hill country.

De az ÚR azt mondta nekem: „Mondd meg nekik: Ne menjetek föl, és ne harcoljatok, hogy meg ne verjenek ellenségeitek, mert nem vagyok köztetek.”

Monda pedig az Úr nékem: Mondd meg nékik: Ne menjetek fel, és ne harczoljatok, mert nem vagyok közöttetek: hogy meg ne verettessetek a ti ellenségeitektől.

And the LORD said unto me, Say unto them. Go not up, neither fight; for I am not among you; lest ye be smitten before your enemies.

Domnul mi-a zis: „Spune-le: „Nu vă suiţi şi nu vă luptaţi, căci Eu nu sunt în mijlocul vostru; nu căutaţi să fiţi bătuţi de vrăjmaşii voştri.”

And the LORD said to me, ‘Say to them, Do not go up or fight, for I am not in your midst, lest you be defeated before your enemies.’

Én elmondtam ezt nektek, de nem hallgattatok rám, hanem pártot ütöttetek az ÚR parancsa ellen, vakmerősködtetek, és fölmentetek a hegyre.

És megmondám néktek, de nem hallgattatok [rám], hanem pártot ütöttetek az Úr parancsolata ellen, és vakmerősködétek, és felmenétek a hegyre.

So I spake unto you; and ye would not hear, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD, and went presumptuously up into the hill.

Eu v-am spus, dar n-aţi ascultat; ci v-aţi răzvrătit împotriva poruncii Domnului şi v-aţi suit semeţi pe munte.

So I spoke to you, and you would not listen; but you rebelled against the command of the LORD and presumptuously went up into the hill country.

De kijöttek ellenetek a hegyvidéken lakó emóriak, és űzőbe vettek, mint a méhek, és vágtak benneteket Széírtől Hormáig.

De kijöve az Emoreus, a ki lakik vala azon a hegyen, ti ellenetek, és megkergetének titeket, mint a méhek szokták cselekedni, és vagdaltak vala titeket Szeirtől Hormáig.

And the Amorites, which dwelt in that mountain, came out against you, and chased you, as bees do, and destroyed you in Seir, even unto Hormah.

Atunci amoriţii, care locuiesc pe muntele acesta, v-au ieşit înainte şi v-au urmărit ca albinele; v-au bătut din Seir, până la Horma.

Then the Amorites who lived in that hill country came out against you and chased you as bees do and beat you down in Seir as far as Hormah.

Akkor visszatértetek onnan, és sírtatok az ÚR színe előtt, de nem hallgatta meg a szavatokat, és nem figyelt rátok.

És visszatérétek onnét, és sírátok az Úr előtt, de nem hallgatá meg az Úr a ti szavatokat, és nem figyele rátok.

And ye returned and wept before the LORD; but the LORD would not hearken to your voice, nor give ear unto you.

La întoarcerea voastră, aţi plâns înaintea Domnului, dar Domnul nu v-a ascultat glasul şi n-a luat aminte la voi.

And you returned and wept before the LORD, but the LORD did not listen to your voice or give ear to you.

Ezért kellett Kádésban olyan hosszú ideig laknotok.

És sok időn át lakozátok Kádesben, a meddig ott lakozátok.

So ye abode in Kadesh many days, according unto the days that ye abode there.

Şi aşa aţi rămas la Cades, unde aţi stat multă vreme.

So you remained at Kadesh many days, the days that you remained there.
