Ne nézd el, ha felebarátod ökre vagy juha kóborol, és ne fordulj el azoktól, hanem bizony tereld vissza azokat felebarátodhoz.

Thou shalt not see thy brother's ox or his sheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt in any case bring them again unto thy brother.

Dacă vezi rătăcindu-se boul sau oaia fratelui tău, să nu le ocoleşti, ci să le aduci la fratele tău.

“You shall not see your brother’s ox or his sheep going astray and ignore them. You shall take them back to your brother.

Ha pedig nincs közel hozzád a felebarátod, vagy nem is ismered őt, hajtsd az állatot a saját házadhoz, és legyen nálad, míg nem keresi azt a te felebarátod. Akkor add neki vissza.

Hogyha pedig nincs közel hozzád a te atyádfia, vagy nem is ismered őt: hajtsd a [barmot] a magad házához, és legyen nálad, míg keresi azt a te atyádfia, és akkor add vissza néki.

And if thy brother be not nigh unto thee, or if thou know him not, then thou shalt bring it unto thine own house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother seek after it, and thou shalt restore it to him again.

Dacă fratele tău nu locuieşte lângă tine şi nu-l cunoşti, să iei dobitocul la tine acasă şi să rămână la tine până ce-l cere fratele tău; şi atunci să i-l dai.

And if he does not live near you and you do not know who he is, you shall bring it home to your house, and it shall stay with you until your brother seeks it. Then you shall restore it to him.

Így tégy a szamarával, így tégy a ruhájával, és így tégy atyádfiának minden elveszett holmijával, amit elvesztett, és te megtaláltad. Ne menj el mellette közömbösen.

És ekképen cselekedjél szamarával, ekképen cselekedjél ruhájával és ekképen cselekedjél a te atyádfiának minden elveszett holmijával, a mi elveszett tőle és te megtaláltad; nem szabad félrevonulnod.

In like manner shalt thou do with his ass; and so shalt thou do with his raiment; and with all lost thing of thy brother's, which he hath lost, and thou hast found, shalt thou do likewise: thou mayest not hide thyself.

Tot aşa să faci şi cu măgarul lui, tot aşa să faci şi cu haina lui, şi tot aşa să faci cu orice lucru pierdut de el şi găsit de tine: să nu le ocoleşti.

And you shall do the same with his donkey or with his garment, or with any lost thing of your brother’s, which he loses and you find; you may not ignore it.

Ha látod, hogy testvéred szamara vagy ökre az úton kidőlve fekszik, ne fordulj el tőlük, hanem segíts neki lábra állni.

Ha látod, hogy a te atyádfiának szamara vagy ökre az úton eldűlve fekszik, ne fordulj el azoktól, hanem vele együtt emeld fel [azokat.]

Thou shalt not see thy brother's ass or his ox fall down by the way, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt surely help him to lift them up again.

Dacă vezi măgarul fratelui tău sau boul lui căzut pe drum, să nu-l ocoleşti, ci să-i ajuţi să-l ridice.

You shall not see your brother’s donkey or his ox fallen down by the way and ignore them. You shall help him to lift them up again.

Asszony ne viseljen férfiruhát, se férfi ne öltözzék asszonyruhába, mert utálatos az ÚR, a te Istened előtt, aki ezt teszi.

Asszony ne viseljen férfiruházatot, se férfi ne öltözzék asszonyruhába; mert mind útálatos az Úr előtt, a te Istened előtt, a ki ezt míveli.

The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

Femeia să nu poarte îmbrăcăminte bărbătească, şi bărbatul să nu se îmbrace cu haine femeieşti; căci oricine face lucrurile acestea este o urâciune înaintea Domnului Dumnezeului tău.

“A woman shall not wear a man’s garment, nor shall a man put on a woman’s cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD your God.

Ha madárfészekre akadsz az úton egy fán vagy a földön fiókákkal vagy tojásokkal, és az anya rajta ül a fiókákon vagy a tojásokon, ne fogd meg az anyát is a fiókákkal együtt.

Ha madárfészek akad elédbe az úton valamely fán vagy a földön, madárfiakkal vagy tojásokkal, és az anya rajta ül a fiakon vagy a tojásokon: meg ne fogd az anyát a fiakkal egyben;

If a bird's nest chance to be before thee in the way in any tree, or on the ground, whether they be young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young:

Dacă întâlneşti pe drum un cuib de pasăre, într-un copac sau pe pământ, cu pui sau ouă, şi mama lor şezând peste pui sau peste ouă, să nu iei şi pe mama şi pe puii ei,

“If you come across a bird’s nest in any tree or on the ground, with young ones or eggs and the mother sitting on the young or on the eggs, you shall not take the mother with the young.

Hanem bizony bocsásd el az anyát, és csak a fiókákat fogd meg magadnak, hogy jó dolgod legyen, és hosszú ideig élj.

Hanem bizony bocsásd el az anyát, és a fiakat fogd el magadnak, hogy jól legyen dolgod, és hosszú ideig élj.

But thou shalt in any wise let the dam go, and take the young to thee; that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days.

ci să dai drumul mamei şi să nu iei decât puii, ca să fii fericit şi să ai zile multe.

You shall let the mother go, but the young you may take for yourself, that it may go well with you, and that you may live long.

Ha új házat építesz, házad tetejére csinálj korlátot, hogy ne terheld vérrel a házadat, ha valaki leesik onnan.

Ha új házat építesz, házfedeledre korlátot csinálj, hogy vérrel ne terheld a te házadat, ha valaki leesik arról.

When thou buildest a new house, then thou shalt make a battlement for thy roof, that thou bring not blood upon thine house, if any man fall from thence.

Când zideşti o casă nouă, să-ţi faci un pălimar împrejurul acoperişului, ca să nu aduci vină de sânge asupra casei tale, dacă s-ar întâmpla să cadă cineva de pe ea.

“When you build a new house, you shall make a parapet for your roof, that you may not bring the guilt of blood upon your house, if anyone should fall from it.

Ne vess a szőlődbe kétféle magot, hogy fertőzötté ne legyen az egész: az elvetett mag és a szőlő termése is.

Ne vess a te szőlődbe kétféle magot, hogy fertőzötté ne legyen az egész: a mag, a melyet elvetsz és a szőlőnek termése.

Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the fruit of thy vineyard, be defiled.

Să nu semeni în via ta două feluri de seminţe, ca nu cumva să întinezi şi rodul seminţei pe care ai semănat-o şi rodul viei.

“You shall not sow your vineyard with two kinds of seed, lest the whole yield be forfeited, the crop that you have sown and the yield of the vineyard.

Ne szánts együtt ökörrel és szamárral.

Thou shalt not plow with an ox and an ass together.

Să nu ari cu un bou şi un măgar înjugaţi împreună.

You shall not plow with an ox and a donkey together.

Ne öltözzél vegyes szövésű, azaz gyapjúból és lenből szőtt ruhába.

Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together.

Să nu porţi o haină ţesută din felurite fire, din lână şi in unite împreună.

You shall not wear cloth of wool and linen mixed together.

Felsőruhádnak, amellyel befeded magad, a négy csücskére csinálj bojtokat.

A te felsőruhádnak négy szegletére, a melyet felülre öltesz, bojtokat csinálj magadnak.

Thou shalt make thee fringes upon the four quarters of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself.

Să faci ciucuri la cele patru colţuri ale hainei cu care te vei înveli.

“You shall make yourself tassels on the four corners of the garment with which you cover yourself.

Ha valaki feleséget vesz, és bemegy hozzá, de azután meggyűlöli,

If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her,

Dacă un om care şi-a luat o nevastă şi s-a împreunat cu ea, o urăşte

“If any man takes a wife and goes in to her and then hates her

és szégyenletes dolgokkal vádolja, és rossz hírbe keveri, mert azt mondja: „Feleségül vettem magamnak, és amikor bementem hozzá, nem találtam szűznek”,

És szégyenletes dolgokkal vádolja, és rossz hírbe keveri azt, mert ezt mondja: E feleséget vettem magamnak, és hozzá mentem, de nem találtam ő benne szűzességet:

And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid:

apoi, o învinuieşte de lucruri nelegiuite şi-i scoate nume rău, zicând: „Am luat pe femeia aceasta, m-am apropiat de ea şi n-am găsit-o fecioară” –

and accuses her of misconduct and brings a bad name upon her, saying, ‘I took this woman, and when I came near her, I did not find in her evidence of virginity,’

akkor vegye őt a leány apja és anyja, és vigyék a leány szüzességének jeleit a város vénei elé a városkapuhoz.

Akkor vegye azt a leánynak atyja és anyja, és vigyék a leány szűzességének [jeleit] a város vénei elé a kapuba;

Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate:

atunci tatăl şi mama fetei să ia semnele fecioriei ei şi să le aducă înaintea bătrânilor cetăţii, la poartă.

then the father of the young woman and her mother shall take and bring out the evidence of her virginity to the elders of the city in the gate.

Mondja ezt a leány apja a véneknek: Leányomat feleségül adtam e férfinak, de meggyűlölte őt.

És mondja a leánynak atyja a véneknek: Leányomat feleségül adtam e férfiúnak, de gyűlöli őt;

And the damsel's father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her;

Tatăl fetei să spună bătrânilor: „Am dat pe fiica mea de nevastă omului acestuia, şi el a început s-o urască;

And the father of the young woman shall say to the elders, ‘I gave my daughter to this man to marry, and he hates her;

Íme, szégyenletes dolgokkal vádolja, és azt mondja, hogy „nem találtam szűznek leányodat”, pedig íme, itt vannak leányom szüzességének jelei! És terítsék ki a ruhát a város vénei elé.

És íme szégyenletes dolgokkal vádol[ja], mondván: Nem találtam a te leányodban szűzességet; pedig ímhol vannak az én leányom szűzességének [jelei!] És terítsék ki a ruhát a város vénei elé.

And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city.

acum o învinuieşte de lucruri nelegiuite, zicând: „N-am găsit fecioară pe fiica ta.” Dar iată semnele fecioriei fetei mele.” Şi să desfacă haina ei înaintea bătrânilor cetăţii.

and behold, he has accused her of misconduct, saying, “I did not find in your daughter evidence of virginity.” And yet this is the evidence of my daughter’s virginity.’ And they shall spread the cloak before the elders of the city.

Akkor a város vénei fogják meg azt a férfit és ostorozzák meg.

Akkor a város vénei fogják meg azt a férfit, és ostorozzák meg őt;

And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him;

Bătrânii cetăţii să ia atunci pe omul acela şi să-l pedepsească;

Then the elders of that city shall take the man and whip him,

Bírságolják meg száz ezüstsékelre, és adják azt a leány apjának, mert rossz hírbe kevert egy izráeli szüzet. És legyen neki felesége, és el ne bocsássa őt egész életében.

És bírságolják meg száz ezüst [siklusra,] és adják ezt a leány atyjának; mert rossz hírbe kevert egy izráelita szűzet; és legyen annak felesége, [és] el nem bocsáthatja azt teljes életében.

And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.

şi, pentru că a scos nume rău unei fecioare din Israel, să-l osândească la o gloabă de o sută sicli de argint, pe care să-i dea tatălui fetei. Ea să rămână nevasta lui, şi el nu va putea s-o gonească, toată viaţa lui.

and they shall fine him a hundred shekels of silver and give them to the father of the young woman, because he has brought a bad name upon a virgin of Israel. And she shall be his wife. He may not divorce her all his days.

Ha pedig igaz lesz a vád, és a lány nem volt szűz,

Ha pedig igaz lesz a vádolás, és nem találtatik szűzesség a leányban:

But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel:

Dar dacă faptul este adevărat, dacă fata nu s-a găsit fecioară,

But if the thing is true, that evidence of virginity was not found in the young woman,

akkor vigyék ki a leányt apja házának bejáratához, és a város férfiai kövezzék agyon, mert gyalázatosságot cselekedett Izráelben, mert paráználkodott apja házánál. Így tisztítsd ki magad köréből a gonoszt.

Akkor vigyék ki a leányt az ő atyjának háza elé, és az ő városának emberei kövezzék meg kővel, hogy meghaljon; mert gyalázatosságot cselekedett Izráelben, paráználkodván az az ő atyjának házánál. Így tisztítsd ki közüled a gonoszt.

Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father's house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.

să scoată pe fată la uşa casei tatălui ei; să fie ucisă cu pietre de oamenii din cetate şi să moară, pentru că a săvârşit o mişelie în Israel, curvind în casa tatălui ei. Să cureţi astfel răul din mijlocul tău.

then they shall bring out the young woman to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her to death with stones, because she has done an outrageous thing in Israel by whoring in her father’s house. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.

Ha pedig rajtakapnak egy férfit, hogy férjes asszonnyal hál, mindketten haljanak meg. A férfi, aki az asszonnyal hált, és az asszony is. Így tisztítsd ki a gonoszt Izráelből.

Ha rajtakapnak valamely férfit, hogy férjes asszonynyal hál, ők mindketten is meghaljanak: a férfi, a ki az asszonynyal hált, és az asszony is. Így tisztítsd ki a gonoszt Izráelből.

If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.

Dacă se va găsi un bărbat culcat cu o femeie măritată, să moară amândoi: şi bărbatul care s-a culcat cu femeia, şi femeia. Să cureţi astfel răul din mijlocul lui Israel.

“If a man is found lying with the wife of another man, both of them shall die, the man who lay with the woman, and the woman. So you shall purge the evil from Israel.

Ha valaki találkozik a városban egy jegyben járó szűz leánnyal, és vele hál,

Ha szűz leány van jegyben egy férfiúval, és megtalálja azt valaki a városban, és vele hál:

If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her;

Dacă o fată fecioară este logodită, şi o întâlneşte un om în cetate şi se culcă cu ea,

“If there is a betrothed virgin, and a man meets her in the city and lies with her,

vigyétek ki mindkettőjüket annak a városnak a kapujába, és kövezzétek őket halálra! A leányt azért, hogy nem kiáltott a városban, a férfit pedig azért, hogy meggyalázta felebarátjának feleségét. Így tisztítsd ki a gonoszt Izráelből.

Vigyétek ki mindkettőjöket annak a városnak kapuja elé, és kövezzétek meg őket kővel, hogy meghaljanak. A leányt azért, hogy nem kiáltott a városban, a férfit pedig azért, hogy meggyalázta az ő felebarátjának feleségét. Így tisztítsd ki a gonoszt Izráelből.

Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.

să-i aduceţi pe amândoi la poarta cetăţii, să-i ucideţi cu pietre şi să moară amândoi: fata, pentru că n-a ţipat în cetate, şi omul, pentru că a necinstit pe nevasta aproapelui său. Să cureţi astfel răul din mijlocul tău.

then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city, and you shall stone them to death with stones, the young woman because she did not cry for help though she was in the city, and the man because he violated his neighbor’s wife. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.

De ha mezőn találkozik egy férfi egy jegyben járó leánnyal, és erőszakoskodik vele a férfi, és vele hál, csak maga a férfi haljon meg, aki vele hált.

De hogyha mezőn találja a férfi a jegyben járó leányt, és erőszakoskodik rajta a férfi és vele hál: csak maga a férfi haljon meg, a ki azzal hált;

But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die.

Dar dacă omul acela întâlneşte în câmp pe fata logodită, o apucă cu sila şi se culcă cu ea, numai omul care s-a culcat cu ea să fie pedepsit cu moartea.

“But if in the open country a man meets a young woman who is betrothed, and the man seizes her and lies with her, then only the man who lay with her shall die.

A leányt pedig ne bántsd, mert neki nincs halálos bűne, mivel olyan ez a dolog, mint amikor valaki a felebarátjára támad, és agyonüti.

A leányt pedig ne bántsd, mert a leánynak nincsen halálos bűne, mivel olyan ez a dolog, mint a mikor valaki felebarátjára támad és azt agyonüti.

But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter:

Fetei să nu-i faci nimic; ea nu este vinovată de o nelegiuire vrednică de pedeapsa cu moarte, căci e ca şi cu un om care se aruncă asupra aproapelui lui şi-l omoară.

But you shall do nothing to the young woman; she has committed no offense punishable by death. For this case is like that of a man attacking and murdering his neighbor,

Mivel a mezőn talált rá, kiálthatott ugyan a jegyben járó leány, de nem volt, aki megoltalmazza.

Mert a mezőn találta őt; kiálthatott a jegyben járó leány, de nem volt a ki megoltalmazza őt.

For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her.

Fata logodită, pe care a întâlnit-o omul acela pe câmp, a putut să strige fără să fie cineva să-i sară în ajutor.

because he met her in the open country, and though the betrothed young woman cried for help there was no one to rescue her.

Ha valaki el nem jegyzett szűz leánnyal találkozik, és megragadja, vele hál, és rajtakapják őket,

Ha valaki el nem jegyzett szűz leánynyal találkozik, és megragadja azt, és vele hál, és rajta kapják őket:

If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;

Dacă un om întâlneşte o fată fecioară nelogodită, o apucă cu sila şi se culcă cu ea, şi se întâmplă să fie prinşi,

“If a man meets a virgin who is not betrothed, and seizes her and lies with her, and they are found,

akkor a férfi, aki vele hált, adjon a leány apjának ötven ezüstsékelt, a leány pedig legyen a felesége. Mivel meggyalázta őt, nem is bocsáthatja el egész életében.

Akkor a férfi, a ki vele hált, adjon a leány atyjának ötven ezüst [siklust], a leány pedig legyen feleségévé. Mivelhogy meggyalázta azt, nem bocsáthatja el azt teljes életében.

Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

omul care s-a culcat cu ea să dea tatălui fetei cincizeci de sicli de argint; şi pentru că a necinstit-o, s-o ia de nevastă, şi nu va putea s-o gonească, toată viaţa lui.

then the man who lay with her shall give to the father of the young woman fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife, because he has violated her. He may not divorce her all his days.

Ne vegye el senki apja feleségét; apja takaróját ne hajtsa föl!

Ne vegye el senki az ő atyjának feleségét, és az ő atyjának takaróját fel ne takarja!

A man shall not take his father's wife, nor discover his father's skirt.

Nimeni să nu ia pe nevasta tatălui său şi nici să nu ridice învelitoarea tatălui său.

“A man shall not take his father’s wife, so that he does not uncover his father’s nakedness.
