Ha háborúba vonulsz ellenséged ellen, és lovakat, szekereket és nálad nagyobb számú sereget látsz, ne félj tőlük, mert veled van az ÚR, a te Istened, aki kihozott Egyiptom földjéről.

Mikor hadba mégy ellenséged ellen, és látsz lovakat, szekereket, náladnál nagyobb számú népet: ne félj tőlök, mert veled van az Úr, a te Istened, a ki felhozott téged Égyiptom földéről.

When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

Când vei merge la război împotriva vrăjmaşilor tăi şi vei vedea cai şi care, şi un popor mai mare la număr decât tine, să nu te temi de ei, căci Domnul Dumnezeul tău care te-a scos din ţara Egiptului este cu tine.

“When you go out to war against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and an army larger than your own, you shall not be afraid of them, for the LORD your God is with you, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.

Amikor az ütközethez készültök, álljon elő a pap, és szóljon a néphez.

És mikor az ütközethez készültök, álljon elő a pap, és szóljon a népnek;

And it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people,

La apropierea luptei, preotul să vină şi să vorbească poporului.

And when you draw near to the battle, the priest shall come forward and speak to the people

Ezt mondja nekik: „Halld meg, Izráel! Ma megütközni készültök ellenségeitekkel. Szívetek ne lágyuljon meg, ne féljetek, ne rettenjetek meg, és ne rémüljetek meg tőlük,

És ezt mondja nékik: Hallgasd meg Izráel! Ti ma készültök megütközni ellenségeitekkel: A ti szívetek meg ne lágyuljon, ne féljetek, és meg ne rettenjetek, se meg ne rémüljetek előttök;

And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them;

Să le spună: „Ascultă, Israele! Voi astăzi sunteţi aproape de luptă împotriva vrăjmaşilor voştri. Să nu vi se tulbure inima, fiţi fără teamă, nu vă înspăimântaţi, nu vă îngroziţi dinaintea lor.

and shall say to them, ‘Hear, O Israel, today you are drawing near for battle against your enemies: let not your heart faint. Do not fear or panic or be in dread of them,

mert az ÚR, a ti Istenetek veletek megy, hogy harcoljon értetek ellenségeitekkel, és megtartson titeket.”

Mert az Úr, a ti Istenetek veletek megy, hogy harczoljon érettetek a ti ellenségeitekkel, hogy megtartson titeket.

For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.

Căci Domnul Dumnezeul vostru merge cu voi, ca să bată pe vrăjmaşii voştri, ca să vă mântuiască.”

for the LORD your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.’

Az elöljárók pedig így szóljanak a néphez: „Van-e olyan ember, aki új házat épített, de még nem avatta föl? Menjen vissza a házába, hogy meg ne haljon a harcban, és másvalaki avassa föl azt.

Az előljárók pedig szóljanak a népnek, mondván: Kicsoda az olyan férfi, a ki új házat épített, de még fel nem avatta azt? Menjen el, és térjen vissza az ő házába, hogy meg ne haljon a harczban, és más valaki avassa fel azt.

And the officers shall speak unto the people, saying, What man is there that hath built a new house, and hath not dedicated it? let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man dedicate it.

Mai marii oştirii să vorbească apoi poporului şi să zică: „Cine a zidit o casă nouă, şi nu s-a aşezat încă în ea, să plece şi să se întoarcă acasă, ca să nu moară în luptă şi să se aşeze altul în ea.

Then the officers shall speak to the people, saying, ‘Is there any man who has built a new house and has not dedicated it? Let him go back to his house, lest he die in the battle and another man dedicate it.

Van-e olyan ember, aki szőlőt ültetett, és még nem szüretelt róla? Menjen el, térjen vissza házába, nehogy másvalaki szedjen róla először, hogyha meghalna a harcban.

És kicsoda olyan férfi, a ki szőlőt ültetett és nem vette el annak hasznát? Menjen el, és térjen vissza az ő házába, hogy meg ne haljon a harczban, és más valaki vegye el annak hasznát.

And what man is he that hath planted a vineyard, and hath not yet eaten of it? let him also go and return unto his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man eat of it.

Cine a sădit o vie, şi n-a mâncat încă din ea, să plece şi să se întoarcă acasă, ca să nu moară în luptă şi să mănânce altul din ea.

And is there any man who has planted a vineyard and has not enjoyed its fruit? Let him go back to his house, lest he die in the battle and another man enjoy its fruit.

Van-e olyan ember, aki eljegyzett magának egy leányt, de még nem vette el? Menjen vissza az a házába, nehogy másvalaki vegye el azt, hogyha meghalna a harcban.”

És kicsoda olyan férfi, a ki feleséget jegyzett el magának, de még el nem vette? Menjen el, és térjen vissza házába, hogy meg ne haljon a harczban, és más valaki vegye azt el.

And what man is there that hath betrothed a wife, and hath not taken her? let him go and return unto his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man take her.

Cine s-a logodit cu o femeie, şi n-a luat-o încă, să plece şi să se întoarcă acasă, ca să nu moară în luptă şi s-o ia altul.”

And is there any man who has betrothed a wife and has not taken her? Let him go back to his house, lest he die in the battle and another man take her.’

Azután még ezt is kérdezzék meg az elöljárók a néptől: „Van-e itt olyan férfi, aki félénk és lágyszívű? Az menjen haza a házába, hogy testvérei szíve úgy meg ne olvadjon, mint az övé.”

Még tovább is szóljanak az előljárók a néphez, és ezt mondják: Kicsoda olyan férfi, a ki félénk és lágy szívű? Menjen el, és térjen vissza az ő házába, hogy az ő atyjafiainak szíve úgy meg ne olvadjon, mint az ő szíve.

And the officers shall speak further unto the people, and they shall say, What man is there that is fearful and fainthearted? let him go and return unto his house, lest his brethren's heart faint as well as his heart.

Mai marii oştirii să vorbească mai departe poporului şi să spună: „Cine este fricos şi slab la inimă, să plece şi să se întoarcă acasă, ca să nu înmoaie inima fraţilor lui.”

And the officers shall speak further to the people, and say, ‘Is there any man who is fearful and fainthearted? Let him go back to his house, lest he make the heart of his fellows melt like his own.’

Amikor befejezik az elöljárók a néphez intézett beszédüket, állítsanak csapatvezéreket a nép élére.

És mikor elvégzik az előljárók beszédöket a néphez, állítsanak seregvezéreket a nép élére.

And it shall be, when the officers have made an end of speaking unto the people that they shall make captains of the armies to lead the people.

După ce mai marii oştirii vor isprăvi de vorbit poporului, să aşeze pe căpeteniile oştirii în fruntea poporului.

And when the officers have finished speaking to the people, then commanders shall be appointed at the head of the people.

Ha egy város megostromlására vonulsz fel, először ajánlj neki békét.

Mikor valamely város alá mégy, hogy azt megostromold, békességgel kínáld meg azt.

When thou comest nigh unto a city to fight against it, then proclaim peace unto it.

Când te vei apropia de o cetate ca să te baţi împotriva ei, s-o îmbii cu pace.

“When you draw near to a city to fight against it, offer terms of peace to it.

Ha békességgel felel neked, és kaput nyit, akkor az egész ott lakó nép adófizetőd legyen, és szolgáljon neked.

És ha békességgel felel néked, és kaput nyit, akkor az egész nép, a mely találtatik abban, adófizetőd legyen, és szolgáljon néked.

And it shall be, if it make thee answer of peace, and open unto thee, then it shall be, that all the people that is found therein shall be tributaries unto thee, and they shall serve thee.

Dacă primeşte pacea şi-ţi deschide porţile, tot poporul care se va afla în ea să-ţi dea bir şi să-ţi fie supus.

And if it responds to you peaceably and it opens to you, then all the people who are found in it shall do forced labor for you and shall serve you.

Ha pedig nem köt békét, hanem harcra kel veled, akkor zárd körül,

Ha pedig nem köt békességet veled, hanem harczra kél veled, akkor zárd azt körül;

And if it will make no peace with thee, but will make war against thee, then thou shalt besiege it:

Dacă nu primeşte pacea cu tine şi vrea să facă război cu tine, atunci s-o împresori.

But if it makes no peace with you, but makes war against you, then you shall besiege it.

és ha az ÚR, a te Istened kezedbe adja, minden férfit hányj kardélre.

És [ha] az Úr, a te Istened kezedbe adja azt: vágj le abban minden fineműt fegyver élével;

And when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword:

Şi după ce Domnul Dumnezeul tău o va da în mâinile tale, să treci prin ascuţişul sabiei pe toţi cei de parte bărbătească.

And when the LORD your God gives it into your hand, you shall put all its males to the sword,

De az asszonyokat, a kisgyermekeket, az állatokat és mindazt, ami a városban van, az egész zsákmányolnivalót magadnak vedd birtokba, és élvezd az ellenségeidtől szerzett zsákmányt, amelyet kezedbe ad az ÚR, a te Istened.

De az asszonyokat, a kis gyermekeket, a barmokat és mind azt, a mi lesz a városban, az egész zsákmányolni valót magadnak prédáljad; és fogyaszd el a te ellenségeidtől való zsákmányt, a kiket kezedbe ad néked az Úr, a te Istened.

But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.

Dar să iei pentru tine nevestele, copiii, vitele şi tot ce va mai fi în cetate, toată prada, şi să mănânci toată prada vrăjmaşilor tăi, pe care ţi-i va da în mână Domnul Dumnezeul tău.

but the women and the little ones, the livestock, and everything else in the city, all its spoil, you shall take as plunder for yourselves. And you shall enjoy the spoil of your enemies, which the LORD your God has given you.

Így cselekedjél mindazokkal a városokkal, amelyek igen messze esnek tőled, amelyek nem e népek városai közül valók.

Így cselekedjél mindazokkal a városokkal, a melyek igen messze esnek tőled, a melyek nem e nemzetek városai közül valók.

Thus shalt thou do unto all the cities which are very far off from thee, which are not of the cities of these nations.

Aşa să faci cu toate cetăţile care vor fi foarte departe de tine şi care nu fac parte din cetăţile neamurilor acestora.

Thus you shall do to all the cities that are very far from you, which are not cities of the nations here.

De e népek városaiban, amelyeket örökségül ad neked az ÚR, a te Istened, ne hagyj életben egy lelket sem.

De e népek városaiban, a melyeket örökségül ad néked az Úr, a te Istened, ne hagyj élni csak egy lelket is;

But of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth:

Dar în cetăţile popoarelor acestora, a căror ţară ţi-o dă ca moştenire Domnul Dumnezeul tău, să nu laşi cu viaţă nimic care suflă.

But in the cities of these peoples that the LORD your God is giving you for an inheritance, you shall save alive nothing that breathes,

Mindenestül veszítsd el őket: a hettitákat, az emóriakat, a kánaániakat, a perizzieket, a hivvieket és a jebúsziakat, ahogy megparancsolta neked az ÚR, a te Istened.

Hanem mindenestől veszítsd el őket: a Khittheust, az Emoreust, a Kananeust, a Perizeust, a Khivveust és a Jebuzeust, a mint megparancsolta néked az Úr, a te Istened;

But thou shalt utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee:

Ci să nimiceşti cu desăvârşire popoarele acelea, pe hetiţi, pe amoriţi, pe canaaniţi, pe fereziţi, pe heviţi şi iebusiţi, cum ţi-a poruncit Domnul Dumnezeul tău,

but you shall devote them to complete destruction, the Hittites and the Amorites, the Canaanites and the Perizzites, the Hivites and the Jebusites, as the LORD your God has commanded,

Azért, hogy meg ne tanítsanak titeket mindannak az utálatosságnak az elkövetésére, amelyet ők isteneik tiszteletére cselekszenek, hogy ne vétkezzetek Istenetek, az ÚR ellen.

Azért, hogy meg ne tanítsanak titeket az ő mindenféle útálatosságaik szerint cselekedni, a melyeket ők cselekesznek az ő isteneiknek, és hogy ne vétkezzetek az Úr ellen, a ti Istenetek ellen.

That they teach you not to do after all their abominations, which they have done unto their gods; so should ye sin against the LORD your God.

ca să nu vă înveţe să faceţi după toate urâciunile pe care le fac ele pentru dumnezeii lor, şi să păcătuiţi astfel împotriva Domnului Dumnezeului vostru.

that they may not teach you to do according to all their abominable practices that they have done for their gods, and so you sin against the LORD your God.

Amikor egy várost hosszabb ideig tartasz körülzárva, és így harcolsz ellene, hogy bevedd, ne pusztítsd ki fejszével egy fáját sem. Egyél róla, de azt magát ne irtsd ki, mert ember-e a mező fája, hogy ostrom alá jusson miattad?

Mikor valamely várost hosszabb ideig tartasz körülzárva, hadakozván az ellen, hogy bevegyed azt: ki ne veszítsd annak egy élőfáját sem, fejszével vágván azt; hanem egyél arról, és azt magát ki ne irtsad; mert ember-é a mezőnek fája, hogy ostrom alá jusson miattad?

When thou shalt besiege a city a long time, in making war against it to take it, thou shalt not destroy the trees thereof by forcing an axe against them: for thou mayest eat of them, and thou shalt not cut them down (for the tree of the field is man's life) to employ them in the siege:

Dacă vei împresura multe zile o cetate cu care eşti în război, ca s-o cucereşti, pomii să nu-i strici tăindu-i cu securea; să mănânci din ei şi să nu-i tai; căci pomul de pe câmp este oare un om ca să fie nimicit prin împresurare de tine?

“When you besiege a city for a long time, making war against it in order to take it, you shall not destroy its trees by wielding an axe against them. You may eat from them, but you shall not cut them down. Are the trees in the field human, that they should be besieged by you?

Csak amelyik fáról tudod, hogy nem gyümölcstermő, azt vágd ki, és abból építs ostromló szerkezetet a veled hadakozó város ellen mindaddig, amíg csak el nem esik.

Csak a mely fáról tudod, hogy nem gyümölcstermő, azt veszítsd el és irtsd ki, és abból építs erősséget az ellen a város ellen, a mely te ellened hadakozik, mind addig, a míg leomlik az.

Only the trees which thou knowest that they be not trees for meat, thou shalt destroy and cut them down; and thou shalt build bulwarks against the city that maketh war with thee, until it be subdued.

Numai copacii pe care-i vei şti că nu sunt pomi buni de mâncat, vei putea să-i strici şi să-i tai, şi vei putea să faci cu ei întărituri împotriva cetăţii care este în război cu tine, până va cădea.

Only the trees that you know are not trees for food you may destroy and cut down, that you may build siegeworks against the city that makes war with you, until it falls.
