Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.

Împăratul Nebucadneţar a făcut un chip de aur, înalt de şaizeci de coţi şi lat de şase coţi. L-a ridicat în valea Dura, în ţinutul Babilonului.

King Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold, whose height was sixty cubits and its breadth six cubits. He set it up on the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.

Azután összehívatta Nebukadneccar király a kormányzókat, az elöljárókat, a helytartókat, a tanácsosokat, a kincstartókat, a bírákat, a főembereket és a tartományok összes vezetőjét, hogy jöjjenek el a szobor fölavatására, amelyet Nebukadneccar király állíttatott.

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

Împăratul Nebucadneţar a poruncit să cheme pe dregători, pe îngrijitori şi pe cârmuitori, pe judecătorii cei mari, pe vistiernici, pe legiuitori, pe judecători şi pe toate căpeteniile ţinuturilor, ca să vină la sfinţirea chipului pe care-l înălţase împăratul Nebucadneţar.

Then King Nebuchadnezzar sent to gather the satraps, the prefects, and the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the justices, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces to come to the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

Akkor összegyűltek a kormányzók, az elöljárók, a helytartók, a tanácsosok, a kincstartók, a bírák, a főemberek és a tartományok összes vezetője a szobor fölavatására, amelyet Nebukadneccar király állíttatott. Megálltak a szobor előtt, amelyet Nebukadneccar állíttatott.

Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

Atunci dregătorii, îngrijitorii şi cârmuitorii, judecătorii cei mari, vistiernicii, legiuitorii, judecătorii şi toate căpeteniile ţinuturilor s-au strâns la sfinţirea chipului pe care-l înălţase împăratul Nebucadneţar. S-au aşezat înaintea chipului pe care-l înălţase Nebucadneţar.

Then the satraps, the prefects, and the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the justices, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces gathered for the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up. And they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

A hírnök pedig hangosan kihirdette: Ezt parancsoljuk nektek, ó, népek, nemzetek és nyelvek!

És a hírnök hangosan kiálta: Meghagyatik néktek, oh népek, nemzetek és nyelvek!

Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,

Iar un crainic a strigat cu glas tare: „Iată ce vi se porunceşte, popoare, neamuri, oameni de toate limbile!

And the herald proclaimed aloud, “You are commanded, O peoples, nations, and languages,

Mihelyt meghalljátok a kürt, síp, citera, hárfa, lant, duda és mindenféle hangszer hangját, boruljatok le, és imádjátok az aranyszobrot, amelyet Nebukadneccar király állíttatott!

Mihelyt halljátok a kürtnek, sípnak, cziterának, hárfának, lantnak, dudának és mindenféle hangszernek szavát: boruljatok le, és imádjátok az arany [álló]képet, a melyet Nabukodonozor király állíttatott.

That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:

În clipa când veţi auzi sunetul trâmbiţei, cavalului, chitarei, lăutei, psaltirei, cimpoiului şi a tot felul de instrumente de muzică, să vă aruncaţi cu faţa la pământ şi să vă închinaţi chipului de aur pe care l-a înălţat împăratul Nebucadneţar.

that when you hear the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, bagpipe, and every kind of music, you are to fall down and worship the golden image that King Nebuchadnezzar has set up.

Aki pedig nem borul le előtte, és nem imádja, bárki legyen is, tüstént bevettetik az égő, tüzes kemencébe.

Akárki pedig, a ki nem borul le és nem imádja, tüstént bevettetik az égő, tüzes kemenczébe.

And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

Oricine nu se va arunca cu faţa la pământ şi nu se va închina va fi aruncat chiar în clipa aceea în mijlocul unui cuptor aprins.” –

And whoever does not fall down and worship shall immediately be cast into a burning fiery furnace.”

Azért mihelyt meghallották a különböző népek a kürt, síp, citera, hárfa, lant és mindenféle hangszer hangját, leborultak a különböző népek, nemzetek és nyelvek mind, és imádták az aranyszobrot, amelyet Nebukadneccar király állíttatott.

Azért mihelyt hallák mind a népek a kürtnek, sípnak, cziterának, hárfának, lantnak és mindenféle hangszernek szavát: leborulának, mind a népek, nemzetségek és nyelvek, [és] imádák az arany [álló]képet, a melyet Nabukodonozor király állíttatott.

Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

De aceea, în clipa când au auzit toate popoarele sunetul trâmbiţei, cavalului, chitarei, lăutei, psaltirei şi a tot felul de instrumente de muzică, toate popoarele, neamurile, oamenii de toate limbile s-au aruncat cu faţa la pământ şi s-au închinat chipului de aur pe care-l înălţase împăratul Nebucadneţar.

Therefore, as soon as all the peoples heard the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, bagpipe, and every kind of music, all the peoples, nations, and languages fell down and worshiped the golden image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

Előállt azonban ekkor néhány káldeus férfi, és vádat emeltek a zsidók ellen.

Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.

Therefore at that time certain Chaldeans came forward and maliciously accused the Jews.

Így szóltak Nebukadneccar királyhoz: Király, örökké élj!

Szólának pedig és mondák Nabukodonozor királynak: Király! örökké élj!

They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.

Ei au luat cuvântul şi au zis împăratului Nebucadneţar: „Să trăieşti veşnic, împărate!

They declared to King Nebuchadnezzar, “O king, live forever!

Te, ó, király, parancsot adtál ki, hogy minden ember, mihelyt meghallja a kürt, síp, citera, hárfa, lant, duda és mindenféle hangszer hangját, boruljon le, és imádja az aranyszobrot.

Te, oh király! parancsolatot adtál ki, hogy minden ember, mihelyt meghallja a kürtnek, sípnak, cziterának, hárfának, lantnak, dudának és mindenféle hangszernek szavát: boruljon le, és imádja az arany [álló]képet;

Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:

Ai dat o poruncă după care toţi cei ce vor auzi sunetul trâmbiţei, cavalului, chitarei, lăutei, psaltirei, cimpoiului şi a tot felul de instrumente de muzică vor trebui să se arunce cu faţa la pământ şi să se închine chipului de aur;

You, O king, have made a decree, that every man who hears the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, bagpipe, and every kind of music, shall fall down and worship the golden image.

Aki pedig nem borul le, és nem imádja azt, azt vessék be az égő, tüzes kemencébe.

A ki pedig nem borul le és nem imádja, vettessék be az égő, tüzes kemenczébe.

And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

şi după care oricine nu se va arunca cu faţa la pământ şi nu se va închina va fi aruncat în mijlocul unui cuptor aprins.

And whoever does not fall down and worship shall be cast into a burning fiery furnace.

Vannak itt zsidó férfiak, akiket a babilóni tartomány gondviselésére rendeltél: Sadrak, Mésak és Abédnegó. Ezek a férfiak semmibe veszik a te parancsodat, ó, király, isteneidet nem tisztelik, és nem imádják az aranyszobrot, amelyet fölállíttattál.

Vannak zsidó férfiak, a kiket a babiloni tartomány gondviselésére rendeltél, Sidrák, Misák és Abednégó: ezek a férfiak nem becsülnek téged, oh király, a te isteneidet nem tisztelik, és az arany [álló]képet, a melyet felállíttattál, nem imádják.

There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

Dar sunt nişte iudei, cărora le-ai dat în grijă treburile ţinutului Babilonului, şi anume Şadrac, Meşac şi Abed-Nego, oameni care nu ţin seama deloc de tine, împărate. Ei nu slujesc dumnezeilor tăi şi nu se închină chipului de aur pe care l-ai înălţat tu!”

There are certain Jews whom you have appointed over the affairs of the province of Babylon: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. These men, O king, pay no attention to you; they do not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.”

Ekkor Nebukadneccar nagy haragra gerjedve meghagyta, hogy hozzák eléje Sadrakot, Mésakot és Abédnegót. Erre a király elé hozták e férfiakat.

Akkor Nabukodonozor [nagy] haraggal és felgerjedéssel meghagyá, hogy hozzák elő Sidrákot, Misákot és Abednégót; erre elhozák a férfiakat a király elé.

Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king.

Atunci Nebucadneţar, mâniat şi plin de urgie, a dat poruncă să aducă pe Şadrac, Meşac şi Abed-Nego. Şi oamenii aceştia au fost aduşi îndată înaintea împăratului.

Then Nebuchadnezzar in furious rage commanded that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego be brought. So they brought these men before the king.

Ezt mondta nekik Nebukadneccar: Sadrak, Mésak és Abédnegó! Igaz-e, hogy nem tisztelitek isteneimet, és nem imádjátok az aranyszobrot, amelyet fölállíttattam?

Szóla Nabukodonozor, és monda nékik: Sidrák, Misák és Abednégó! Szántszándékból nem tisztelitek-é az én istenemet és nem imádjátok-é az arany [álló]képet, a melyet felállíttattam?

Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?

Nebucadneţar a luat cuvântul şi le-a zis: „Înadins oare, Şadrac, Meşac şi Abed-Nego, nu slujiţi voi dumnezeilor mei şi nu vă închinaţi chipului de aur pe care l-am înălţat?

Nebuchadnezzar answered and said to them, “Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the golden image that I have set up?

Készek vagytok-e most, mihelyt meghalljátok a kürt, síp, citera, hárfa, lant, duda és mindenféle hangszer hangját, hogy leboruljatok, és imádjátok a szobrot, amelyet készítettem? Mert ha nem imádjátok, tüstént bevetnek benneteket az égő, tüzes kemencébe. És kicsoda az az Isten, aki ki tudna szabadítani titeket a kezemből?

Ha tehát készek vagytok: mihelyt halljátok a kürtnek, sípnak, cziterának, hárfának, lantnak, dudának és mindenféle hangszernek szavát, leboruljatok és imádjátok az [álló]képet, a melyet én csináltattam. De ha nem imádjátok, tüstént bevettettek az égő, tüzes kemenczébe; és kicsoda az az Isten, a ki kiszabadítson titeket az én kezeimből?

Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?

Acum fiţi gata, şi în clipa când veţi auzi sunetul trâmbiţei, cavalului, chitarei, lăutei, psaltirei, cimpoiului şi a tot felul de instrumente, să vă aruncaţi cu faţa la pământ şi să vă închinaţi chipului pe care l-am făcut; dacă nu vă veţi închina lui, veţi fi aruncaţi îndată în mijlocul unui cuptor aprins! Şi care este Dumnezeul acela care vă va scoate din mâna mea?”

Now if you are ready when you hear the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, bagpipe, and every kind of music, to fall down and worship the image that I have made, well and good. But if you do not worship, you shall immediately be cast into a burning fiery furnace. And who is the god who will deliver you out of my hands?”

Sadrak, Mésak és Abédnegó erre így felelt a királynak: Ó, Nebukadneccar! Nem szükséges, hogy erre feleljünk neked.

Felelének Sidrák, Misák és Abednégó, és mondának a királynak: Oh Nabukodonozor! Nem szükség erre felelnünk néked.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.

Şadrac, Meşac şi Abed-Nego au răspuns împăratului Nebucadneţar: „Noi n-avem nevoie să-ţi răspundem la cele de mai sus.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.

Íme, a mi Istenünk, akit szolgálunk, ki tud minket szabadítani az égő, tüzes kemencéből és a te kezedből is, ó, király, ki tud szabadítani minket.

Ímé, a mi Istenünk, a kit mi szolgálunk, ki tud minket szabadítani az égő, tüzes kemenczéből, és a te kezedből is, oh király, kiszabadít minket.

If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.

Iată, Dumnezeul nostru căruia Îi slujim poate să ne scoată din cuptorul aprins, şi ne va scoate din mâna ta, împărate.

If this be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king.

De ha nem tenné is, legyen tudtodra, ó, király, hogy mi a te isteneidet nem tiszteljük, és az aranyszobrot, amelyet fölállíttattál, nem imádjuk.

De ha nem [tenné is,] legyen tudtodra, oh király, hogy mi a te isteneidnek nem szolgálunk, és az arany [álló]képet, a melyet felállíttatál, nem imádjuk.

But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

Şi chiar de nu ne va scoate, să ştii, împărate, că nu vom sluji dumnezeilor tăi şi nici nu ne vom închina chipului de aur pe care l-ai înălţat!”

But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.”

Ekkor Nebukadneccar eltelt haraggal, és arcának színe elváltozott Sadrak, Mésak és Abédnegó miatt. Elrendelte, hogy hétszerte jobban fűtsék be a kemencét, amint azt szokták.

Akkor Nabukodonozor eltelék haraggal, és az ő orczájának színe elváltozék Sidrák, Misák és Abednégó ellen; [azért] szóla, és meghagyá, hogy fűtsék be a kemenczét hétszerte inkább, mint szokták vala befűteni.

Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

La auzul acestor cuvinte, Nebucadneţar s-a umplut de mânie şi şi-a schimbat faţa, întorcându-şi privirile împotriva lui Şadrac, Meşac şi Abed-Nego. A luat din nou cuvântul şi a poruncit să încălzească de şapte ori mai mult cuptorul de cum se cădea să-l încălzească.

Then Nebuchadnezzar was filled with fury, and the expression of his face was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He ordered the furnace heated seven times more than it was usually heated.

Azután meghagyta serege legerősebb embereinek, hogy kötözzék meg Sadrakot, Mésakot és Abédnegót, és vessék az égő, tüzes kemencébe.

És meghagyá a legerősebb férfiaknak az ő seregében, hogy kötözzék meg Sidrákot, Misákot és Abednégót, [és] vessék őket az égő, tüzes kemenczébe.

And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

And he ordered some of the mighty men of his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

Erre meg is kötözték ezeket a férfiakat alsóruhástul, köntösöstül, süvegestül, teljes ruházatukban, és az égő, tüzes kemencébe vetették őket.

Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

Oamenii aceştia au fost legaţi cu izmenele, cămăşile, mantalele şi celelalte haine ale lor şi aruncaţi în mijlocul cuptorului aprins.

Then these men were bound in their cloaks, their tunics, their hats, and their other garments, and they were thrown into the burning fiery furnace.

Mivel azonban a király parancsa szigorú volt, és a kemence rendkívül izzott, a tűz lángja megölte azokat a férfiakat, akik Sadrakot, Mésakot és Abédnegót odavitték.

A miatt azonban, hogy a király parancsolata szigorú volt és a kemencze rendkivül izzó vala: azokat a férfiakat, a kik Sidrákot, Misákot és Abednégót felvitték, megölé a tűznek lángja.

Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flames of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

Fiindcă porunca împăratului era aspră, şi cuptorul era neobişnuit de încălzit, flacăra a ucis pe toţi oamenii care aruncaseră în el pe Şadrac, Meşac şi Abed-Nego.

Because the king’s order was urgent and the furnace overheated, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

Az a három férfi pedig, Sadrak, Mésak és Abédnegó, megkötözve az égő, tüzes kemencébe esett.

Az a három férfiú pedig: Sidrák, Misák és Abednégó, az égő, tüzes kemenczébe esék megkötözve.

And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

Dar aceşti trei oameni, Şadrac, Meşac şi Abed-Nego, au căzut legaţi în mijlocul cuptorului aprins.

And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell bound into the burning fiery furnace.

Akkor Nebukadneccar király megijedt, sietve fölkelt, és azt kérdezte tanácsosaitól: Nem három férfit vetettünk a tűzbe megkötözve? Ők így feleltek a királynak: Valóban, ó, király!

Akkor Nabukodonozor király megijedt és sietve felkele, szóla és monda az ő tanácsosainak: Nem három férfiút veténk-é a tűz közepébe megkötözve? Felelének és mondának a királynak: Bizonyára, oh király!

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.

Atunci împăratul Nebucadneţar s-a înspăimântat şi s-a sculat repede. A luat cuvântul şi a zis sfetnicilor săi: „N-am aruncat noi în mijlocul focului trei oameni legaţi?” Ei au răspuns împăratului: „Negreşit, împărate!”

Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished and rose up in haste. He declared to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the fire?” They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.”

Ő pedig így szólt: Íme, én négy férfit látok szabadon járkálni a tűzben, és semmi sérülés nincs rajtuk, és a negyediknek az ábrázata olyan, mint egy isten fiáé.

Felele, és monda: Ímé, négy férfiút látok szabadon járni a tűz közepében, és semmi sérelem sincs bennök, és a negyediknek ábrázata olyan, mint valami istenek-fiáé.

He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

El a luat iarăşi cuvântul şi a zis: „Ei bine, eu văd patru oameni umblând slobozi în mijlocul focului şi nevătămaţi; şi chipul celui de al patrulea seamănă cu al unui fiu de dumnezei!”

He answered and said, “But I see four men unbound, walking in the midst of the fire, and they are not hurt; and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods.”

Nebukadneccar ekkor az égő, tüzes kemence ajtajához ment, és így szólt: Sadrak, Mésak és Abédnegó, a felséges Isten szolgái! Gyertek ki, jöjjetek ide! Erre Sadrak, Mésak és Abédnegó azonnal kijött a tűzből.

Nabukodonozor ekkor az égő, tüzes kemencze szájához járula, és szóla és monda: Sidrák, Misák és Abednégó, a felséges Istennek szolgái, jertek ki és jőjjetek ide! Azonnal kijövének Sidrák, Misák és Abednégó a tűz közepéből.

Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.

Apoi Nebucadneţar s-a apropiat de gura cuptorului aprins şi, luând cuvântul, a zis: „Şadrac, Meşac şi Abed-Nego, slujitorii Dumnezeului celui Preaînalt, ieşiţi afară şi veniţi încoace!” Şi Şadrac, Meşac şi Abed-Nego au ieşit din mijlocul focului.

Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the door of the burning fiery furnace; he declared, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here!” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out from the fire.

And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

Dregătorii, îngrijitorii, cârmuitorii şi sfetnicii împăratului s-au strâns şi au văzut că focul n-avusese nicio putere asupra trupului acestor oameni, că nici perii capului lor nu se pârliseră, hainele le rămăseseră neschimbate şi nici măcar miros de foc nu se prinsese de ei.

And the satraps, the prefects, the governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together and saw that the fire had not had any power over the bodies of those men. The hair of their heads was not singed, their cloaks were not harmed, and no smell of fire had come upon them.

Ekkor így szólt Nebukadneccar: Áldott legyen Sadrak, Mésak és Abédnegó Istene, aki elküldte angyalát, és kiszabadította szolgáit, akik őbenne bíztak! Még a király parancsát is megszegték, és veszedelemre adták testüket, mert nem tiszteltek és nem imádtak más istent az ő Istenükön kívül.

Szóla Nabukodonozor, és monda: Áldott ezeknek Istene, a Sidrák, Misák és Abednégó Istene, a ki küldötte az ő angyalát és kiszabadította az ő szolgáit, a kik ő benne bíztak; és a király parancsolatát megszegték és [veszedelemre] adták az ő testöket és nem szolgáltak és nem imádtak más istent az ő Istenökön kivül.

Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

Nebucadneţar a luat cuvântul şi a zis: „Binecuvântat să fie Dumnezeul lui Şadrac, Meşac şi Abed-Nego, care a trimis pe îngerul Său şi a izbăvit pe slujitorii Săi care s-au încrezut în El, au călcat porunca împăratului şi şi-au dat mai degrabă trupurile lor decât să slujească şi să se închine altui dumnezeu decât Dumnezeului lor!

Nebuchadnezzar answered and said, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel and delivered his servants, who trusted in him, and set aside the king’s command, and yielded up their bodies rather than serve and worship any god except their own God.

Megparancsolom azért, hogy minden nép, nemzet és nyelv, amely káromlást mond Sadrak, Mésak és Abédnegó Istene ellen, darabokra tépessék, és házát tegyék szemétdombbá. Mert nincs más Isten, aki így meg tud szabadítani.

Parancsolom azért, hogy minden nép, nemzetség és nyelv, a mely káromlást mond Sidrák, Misák és Abednégó Istene ellen, darabokra tépessék, és annak háza szemétdombbá tétessék: mert nincs más Isten, a ki így megszabadíthasson.

Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.

Iată acum porunca pe care o dau: orice om, din orice popor, neam sau limbă ar fi, care va vorbi rău de Dumnezeul lui Şadrac, Meşac şi Abed-Nego va fi făcut bucăţi, şi casa lui va fi prefăcută într-un morman de murdării, pentru că nu este niciun alt Dumnezeu care să poată izbăvi ca El.”

Therefore I make a decree: Any people, nation, or language that speaks anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego shall be torn limb from limb, and their houses laid in ruins, for there is no other god who is able to rescue in this way.”

Nebukadneccar király üzenete minden népnek, nemzetnek és nyelvnek, akik az egész földön laknak: Békességetek bőséges legyen!

[Nabukodonozor király minden népnek, nemzetnek és nyelveknek, a kik az egész földön lakoznak, [mondá:] Békességetek bőséges legyen!]

Illő dolognak tartom közzétenni azokat a jeleket és csodákat, amelyeket a felséges Isten cselekedett velem.

[A jeleket és csudákat, a melyeket cselekedett velem a felséges Isten, illendő dolognak tartom megjelenteni.]

Mily nagyok az ő jelei, és mily hatalmasak az ő csodái! Országa örökkévaló ország, és uralma nemzedékről nemzedékre megmarad.
