Bélsaccarnak, Babilón királyának első esztendejében álmot látott ágyában Dániel, elméjének látomásait. Az álmot följegyezte, és a lényegét elmondta.

Belsazárnak, a babiloni királynak első esztendejében álmot láta Dániel és fejének látásait az ő ágyában. Az álmot akkor följegyzé; a dolog velejét elmondá.

In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.

În anul întâi al lui Belşaţar, împăratul Babilonului, Daniel a visat un vis şi a avut vedenii în mintea lui, pe când era în pat. În urmă a scris visul şi a istorisit lucrurile de căpetenie.

In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel saw a dream and visions of his head as he lay in his bed. Then he wrote down the dream and told the sum of the matter.

Ezt mondta Dániel: Láttam látomásomban éjszaka, hogy íme, az ég négy szele rátör a nagy tengerre.

Szóla Dániel, és monda: Látám az én látásomban éjszaka, és ímé, az égnek négy szele háborút támaszta a nagy tengeren;

Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.

Daniel a început şi a zis: „În vedenia mea de noapte am văzut cum cele patru vânturi ale cerurilor au izbucnit pe Marea cea Mare.

Daniel declared, “I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the great sea.

Négy nagy állat jött föl a tengerből, mindegyik különbözött a másiktól.

És négy nagy állat jöve fel a tengerből, egyik különböző a másiktól.

And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.

Şi patru fiare mari au ieşit din mare, deosebite una de alta.

And four great beasts came up out of the sea, different from one another.

Az első olyan volt, mint az oroszlán, és sasszárnyai voltak. Láttam, hogy szárnyait kitépték, fölemelték a földről, két lábra állították, mint egy embert, és emberi értelmet adtak neki.

Az első olyan, mint az oroszlán, és sas szárnyai valának. Nézém, míg szárnyai kitépettek, és felemelteték a földről, és mint valami ember, lábra állíttaték és emberi szív adaték néki.

The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.

Cea dintâi semăna cu un leu şi avea aripi de vultur. M-am uitat la ea, până în clipa când i s-au smuls aripile; şi, sculându-se de pe pământ, a stat drept în picioare ca un om şi i s-a dat o inimă de om.

The first was like a lion and had eagles’ wings. Then as I looked its wings were plucked off, and it was lifted up from the ground and made to stand on two feet like a man, and the mind of a man was given to it.

Azután íme, egy másik állat jelent meg, a második egy medvéhez hasonlított. Félig fölemelkedett, és három oldalborda volt a szájában, a fogai között. Így szóltak neki: Kelj föl, és egyél sok húst!

És ímé, más állat, a második, hasonló a medvéhez, és kele egyik oldalára, és három oldalborda vala szájában fogai között, és így szólának néki: Kelj fel és egyél sok húst!

And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.

Şi iată că o a doua fiară era ca un urs şi stătea într-o rână; avea trei coaste în gură între dinţi; şi i s-a zis: „Scoală-te şi mănâncă multă carne!”

And behold, another beast, a second one, like a bear. It was raised up on one side. It had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth; and it was told, ‘Arise, devour much flesh.’

Ezután láttam, hogy íme, egy másik állat jött, olyan, mint a párduc, és négy madárszárny volt a hátán. Négy feje volt az állatnak, és hatalmat adtak neki.

Ez után látám, és ímé, egy másik, olyan mint a párducz, és négy madárszárnya vala a hátán; és négy feje vala az állatnak, és hatalom adaték néki.

After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.

După aceea m-am uitat mai departe şi iată o alta ca un pardos, care avea pe spate patru aripi ca o pasăre; fiara aceasta avea şi patru capete şi i s-a dat stăpânire.

After this I looked, and behold, another, like a leopard, with four wings of a bird on its back. And the beast had four heads, and dominion was given to it.

Ezek után éjszakai látomásban, íme, egy negyedik állatot láttam: rettenetes, iszonyú és rendkívül erős volt, nagy vasfogai voltak, falt és zúzott, és a maradékot összetaposta a lábával. Különbözött mindazoktól az állatoktól, amelyek előtte voltak, és tíz szarva volt.

Ezek után látám éjszakai látásokban, és ímé, negyedik állat, rettenetes és iszonyú és rendkivül erős; nagy vasfogai valának, falt és zúzott és a maradékot lábaival összetaposta, és ez különbözék mindazoktól az állatoktól, a melyek előtte valának, és tíz szarva vala néki.

After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

După aceea m-am uitat în vedeniile mele de noapte şi iată că era o a patra fiară, nespus de grozav de înspăimântătoare şi de puternică; avea nişte dinţi mari de fier, mânca, sfărâma şi călca în picioare ce mai rămânea; era cu totul deosebită de toate fiarele de mai înainte şi avea zece coarne.

After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, terrifying and dreadful and exceedingly strong. It had great iron teeth; it devoured and broke in pieces and stamped what was left with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns.

Mialatt a szarvakat szemléltem, íme, egy másik kicsiny szarv növekedett ki közöttük, és hármat az előbbi szarvak közül kiszakítottak előtte, és íme, emberi szemekhez hasonló szemek voltak ezen a szarvon, és nagyokat szóló száj.

[Mialatt] a szarvakat szemlélém, ímé, másik kicsiny szarv növekedék ki azok között, és három az elébbi szarvak közül kiszakasztaték ő előtte, és ímé, emberszemekhez hasonló szemek valának ebben a szarvban, és nagyokat szóló száj.

I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

M-am uitat cu băgare de seamă la coarne şi iată că un alt corn mic a ieşit din mijlocul lor, şi dinaintea acestui corn au fost smulse trei din cele dintâi coarne. Şi cornul acesta avea nişte ochi ca ochii de om şi o gură care vorbea cu trufie.

I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them another horn, a little one, before which three of the first horns were plucked up by the roots. And behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking great things.

Ahogy néztem, trónokat helyeztek el, és az öregkorú leült. Ruhája hófehér volt, és a fején a haja olyan volt, mint a tiszta gyapjú. Trónja tüzes láng volt, s annak kerekei olyanok voltak, mint az égő tűz.

Nézém, míg királyi székek tétetének, és az öreg korú leüle, ruhája hófehér, és fejének haja, mint a tiszta gyapjú; széke tüzes láng, ennek kerekei égő tűz;

I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

Mă uitam la aceste lucruri, până când s-au aşezat nişte scaune de domnie. Şi un Îmbătrânit de zile a şezut jos. Haina Lui era albă ca zăpada, şi părul capului Lui era ca nişte lână curată; scaunul Lui de domnie era ca nişte flăcări de foc, şi roţile lui ca un foc aprins.

“As I looked, thrones were placed, and the Ancient of Days took his seat; his clothing was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool; his throne was fiery flames; its wheels were burning fire.

Tűzfolyam folyt és jött ki a színe elől. Ezerszer ezren szolgáltak neki, és tízezerszer tízezren álltak előtte. Összeült a törvénykezés, és könyveket nyitottak ki.

Tűzfolyam foly és jő vala ki az ő színe felől; ezerszer ezeren szolgálának néki, és tízezerszer tízezeren állának előtte; ítélők ülének le, és könyvek nyittatának meg.

A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

Un râu de foc curgea şi ieşea dinaintea Lui. Mii de mii de slujitori Îi slujeau şi de zece mii de ori zece mii stăteau înaintea Lui. S-a ţinut judecata şi s-au deschis cărţile.

A stream of fire issued and came out from before him; a thousand thousands served him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him; the court sat in judgment, and the books were opened.

Akkor figyelni kezdtem a nagyhangú beszédek miatt, amelyeket a szarv szólt. Láttam, ahogy megölték azt az állatot, teste elpusztult, és a tűzbe vetették, hogy elégjen.

Nézém akkor a nagyzó beszédek hangja miatt, a melyeket a szarv szóla; nézém, míg megöleték az az állat, és az ő teste elvesze, és tűzbe vetteték megégetésre.

I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.

Eu mă uitam mereu, din pricina cuvintelor pline de trufie pe care le rostea cornul acela: m-am uitat până când fiara a fost ucisă, şi trupul ei a fost nimicit şi aruncat în foc ca să fie ars.

“I looked then because of the sound of the great words that the horn was speaking. And as I looked, the beast was killed, and its body destroyed and given over to be burned with fire.

A többi állattól is elvették a hatalmat, de egy ideig még életben hagyták őket.

A többi állatoktól is elvéteték az ő hatalmok; de ideig-óráig tartó élet adaték nékik.

As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.

Şi celelalte fiare au fost dezbrăcate de puterea lor, dar li s-a îngăduit o lungire a vieţii până la o vreme şi un ceas anumit.

As for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away, but their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.

Láttam az éjszakai látomásban, hogy íme, az ég felhőin jött valaki, olyan, mint egy emberfia. Az öregkorúhoz ment, és eléje vitték őt.

Látám éjszakai látásokban, és ímé az égnek felhőiben mint valami emberfia jőve; és méne az öreg korúhoz, és eleibe vivék őt.

I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

M-am uitat în timpul vedeniilor mele de noapte şi iată că pe norii cerurilor a venit unul ca un fiu al omului; a înaintat spre Cel Îmbătrânit de zile şi a fost adus înaintea Lui.

“I saw in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven there came one like a son of man, and he came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before him.

És hatalom, dicsőség és uralom adatott neki, hogy minden nép, nemzet és nyelv őt tisztelje. Hatalma örökkévaló hatalom, amely nem szűnik meg, és királysága sem pusztul el.

És ada néki hatalmat, dicsőséget és országot, és minden nép, nemzet és nyelv néki szolgála; az ő hatalma örökkévaló hatalom, a mely el nem múlik, és az ő országa meg nem rontatik.

And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

I s-a dat stăpânire, slavă şi putere împărătească, pentru ca să-I slujească toate popoarele, neamurile şi oamenii de toate limbile. Stăpânirea Lui este o stăpânire veşnică şi nu va trece nicidecum, şi Împărăţia Lui nu va fi nimicită niciodată.

And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed.

Én, Dániel megrendültem lelkemben ezek miatt, és elmém látomásai megháborítottak engem.

Megrendülék én, Dániel, az én lelkemben ezek miatt, és fejem látásai megháborítának engem.

I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

Eu, Daniel, m-am tulburat cu duhul, şi vedeniile din capul meu m-au înspăimântat.

“As for me, Daniel, my spirit within me was anxious, and the visions of my head alarmed me.

Odamentem az ott állók közül egyhez, és fölvilágosítást kértem tőle mindezek felől. Ő válaszolt nekem, és a dolog értelmét tudomásomra hozta:

Oda menék egyhez az ott állók közül, és bizonyosat kérék tőle mindezek felől, és szóla nékem, és e dolognak értelmét tudatá velem:

I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things.

M-am apropiat de unul din cei ce stăteau acolo şi l-am rugat să-mi dea lămuriri temeinice cu privire la toate aceste lucruri. El mi-a vorbit şi mi le-a tâlcuit astfel:

I approached one of those who stood there and asked him the truth concerning all this. So he told me and made known to me the interpretation of the things.

Ez a négy nagy állat négy királyt jelent, akik hatalomra jutnak e földön.

Ezek a nagy állatok, mik négyen voltak, négy király, a kik támadnak e földön.

These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.

„Aceste patru fiare mari sunt patru împăraţi care se vor ridica pe pământ.

‘These four great beasts are four kings who shall arise out of the earth.

De a Magasságos szentjei veszik majd át az országot, és örökre az övék lesz a királyság örökkön-örökké.

De a magasságos [egek]nek szentei veszik majd az országot, és bírják az országot örökké és örökkön örökké.

But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.

Dar sfinţii Celui Preaînalt vor primi împărăţia şi vor stăpâni împărăţia în veci, din veşnicie în veşnicie.”

But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom and possess the kingdom forever, forever and ever.’

Akkor felvilágosítást kértem a negyedik állat felől, amely különbözött az összes többitől, és rendkívül rettenetes volt. Vasfogai és rézkarmai voltak, falt és zúzott, és a maradékot összetaposta a lábával.

Akkor bizonyosat kívánék tudni a negyedik állat felől, a mely különbözék mindamazoktól, és rendkivül rettenetes vala; vasfogai és érczkörmei valának, falt és zúzott, és a maradékot lábaival összetaposta.

Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet;

În urmă am dorit să ştiu adevărul asupra fiarei a patra, care se deosebea de toate celelalte; şi era nespus de grozavă: avea dinţi de fier şi gheare de aramă, mânca, sfărâma şi călca în picioare ce rămânea;

“Then I desired to know the truth about the fourth beast, which was different from all the rest, exceedingly terrifying, with its teeth of iron and claws of bronze, and which devoured and broke in pieces and stamped what was left with its feet,

És a tíz szarv felől is, amely a fején volt, majd egy újabb is kinőtt, három pedig kiesett előtte. Ennek a szarvnak szemei voltak, és nagyokat szóló szája, termete is nagyobb volt a társaiénál.

A tíz szarv felől is, a melyek a fején valának, és a felől, a mely utóbb növekedék és három esék ki előle; és ennek a szarvnak szemei valának és nagyokat szóló szája; termete is nagyobb a társaiénál.

And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.

şi asupra celor zece coarne pe care le avea în cap, şi asupra celuilalt corn care ieşise şi înaintea căruia căzuseră trei; asupra cornului acestuia care avea ochi, o gură care vorbea cu trufie şi avea o înfăţişare mai mare decât celelalte coarne.

and about the ten horns that were on its head, and the other horn that came up and before which three of them fell, the horn that had eyes and a mouth that spoke great things, and that seemed greater than its companions.

Láttam, hogy ez a szarv harcolt a szentek ellen, és legyőzte őket,

Látám, hogy ez a szarv hadakozék a szentek ellen, és legyőzé őket.

I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;

Am văzut, de asemenea, cum cornul acesta a făcut război sfinţilor şi i-a biruit,

As I looked, this horn made war with the saints and prevailed over them,

míg el nem jött az öregkorú, hogy igazságot szolgáltasson a Magasságos szentjeinek, és el nem jött az idő, hogy a szentek elnyerjék az országot.

Mígnem eljöve az öreg korú, és az ítélet adaték a magasságos [egek] szenteinek; és az idő eljöve, és elvevék az országot a szentek.

Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

până când a venit Cel Îmbătrânit de zile şi a făcut dreptate sfinţilor Celui Preaînalt, şi a venit vremea când sfinţii au luat în stăpânire împărăţia.

until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was given for the saints of the Most High, and the time came when the saints possessed the kingdom.

Így szólt: A negyedik állat egy negyedik ország lesz e földön, amely különb lesz minden országnál, bekebelezi az egész földet, eltapossa és összezúzza azt.

Így szóla: A negyedik állat negyedik ország lesz e földön, a mely különb lesz minden országnál, és megeszi az egész földet, és eltapodja és szétzúzza azt.

Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

El mi-a vorbit aşa: „Fiara a patra este o a patra împărăţie care va fi pe pământ. Ea se va deosebi de toate celelalte, va sfâşia tot pământul, îl va călca în picioare şi-l va zdrobi.

“Thus he said: ‘As for the fourth beast, there shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be different from all the kingdoms, and it shall devour the whole earth, and trample it down, and break it to pieces.

A tíz szarv pedig azt jelenti: Ebből az országból tíz király támad, majd egy újabb támad utánuk. Az különb lesz az előbbieknél, és három királyt fog megalázni.

A tíz szarv pedig ez: Ebből az országból tíz király támad, és más támad utánok, és az különb lesz mint az előbbiek, és három királyt fog megalázni.

And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

Cele zece coarne înseamnă că din împărăţia aceasta se vor ridica zece împăraţi. Iar după ei se va ridica un altul care se va deosebi de înaintaşii lui şi va doborî trei împăraţi.

As for the ten horns, out of this kingdom ten kings shall arise, and another shall arise after them; he shall be different from the former ones, and shall put down three kings.

Sokat beszél majd a Felséges ellen, és a Magasságos szentjeit pusztítja. Úgy véli, hogy meg tudja változtatni az időket és a törvényt. Az ő kezébe adatnak ideig, időkig és egy fél időre.

És sokat szól a Felséges ellen és a magasságos [egek] szenteit [] megrontja, és véli, hogy megváltoztatja az időket és törvényt; és az ő kezébe adatnak ideig, időkig és fél időig.

And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

El va rosti vorbe de hulă împotriva Celui Preaînalt, va asupri pe sfinţii Celui Preaînalt şi se va încumeta să schimbe vremurile şi legea; şi sfinţii vor fi daţi în mâinile lui timp de o vreme, două vremuri şi o jumătate de vreme.

He shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and shall think to change the times and the law; and they shall be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time.

De azután összeül a törvénykezés, és elveszik a hatalmát, hogy megsemmisüljön, és végleg elvesszen.

De ítélők ülnek és az ő hatalmát elveszik, hogy megrontassék és végleg elveszszen.

But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.

Apoi va veni judecata şi i se va lua stăpânirea, care va fi prăbuşită şi nimicită pentru totdeauna.

But the court shall sit in judgment, and his dominion shall be taken away, to be consumed and destroyed to the end.

Az ég alatt lévő minden ország uralma, hatalma és nagysága pedig a Magasságos szentjei népének adatik. Királysága örökkévaló királyság lesz, és őt tiszteli, és neki engedelmeskedik minden hatalmasság.

Az ország pedig és a hatalom és az egész ég alatt levő országok nagysága átadatik a magasságos [egek] szentei népének; az ő országa örökkévaló ország, és minden hatalmasság néki szolgál és engedelmeskedik.

And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

Dar domnia, stăpânirea şi puterea tuturor împărăţiilor care sunt pretutindeni sub ceruri se vor da poporului sfinţilor Celui Preaînalt. Împărăţia Lui este o împărăţie veşnică, şi toate puterile Îi vor sluji şi-L vor asculta!”

And the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High; his kingdom shall be an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.’

Itt végződik a beszéd. Engem, Dánielt pedig gondolataim igen megháborítottak, és arcom is elsápadt. De ezt a beszédet megőriztem szívemben.

Itt vége lőn a beszédnek. Engemet, Dánielt pedig az én gondolatim igen megrettentének és az én ábrázatom elváltozék rajtam; de e beszédet megtartám szívemben.

Hitherto is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.

Aici s-au sfârşit cuvintele. Pe mine, Daniel, m-au tulburat nespus de mult gândurile mele şi mi s-a schimbat culoarea feţei; dar am păstrat cuvintele acestea în inima mea.”

“Here is the end of the matter. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts greatly alarmed me, and my color changed, but I kept the matter in my heart.”
