Also I in the first year of Darius the Mede, even I, stood to confirm and to strengthen him.

„În anul dintâi al lui Darius, medul, eram şi eu la el, ca să-l ajut şi să-l sprijin.

“And as for me, in the first year of Darius the Mede, I stood up to confirm and strengthen him.

Most pedig kijelentem neked az igazságot: Íme, még három király támad Perzsiában, a negyedik pedig nagyon meggazdagodik, és mindenkinél gazdagabb lesz; és amikor gazdagsága által megerősödik, mindent megmozgat Görögország ellen.

És most igazságot jelentek néked: Ímé, még három király támad Persiában, és a negyedik meggazdagul nagy gazdagsággal mindenki felett, és mikor hatalomhoz jut az ő gazdagsága által, mindent megmozdít Görögország ellen.

And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.

Acum, îţi voi face cunoscut adevărul: Iată că vor mai fi încă trei împăraţi în Persia. Cel de al patrulea va strânge mai multă bogăţie decât toţi ceilalţi; şi când se va simţi puternic prin bogăţiile lui, va răscula totul împotriva împărăţiei Greciei.

“And now I will show you the truth. Behold, three more kings shall arise in Persia, and a fourth shall be far richer than all of them. And when he has become strong through his riches, he shall stir up all against the kingdom of Greece.

Akkor egy erős király támad, nagy hatalommal uralkodik, és tetszése szerint cselekszik.

És támad egy erős király és uralkodik nagy hatalommal és tetszése szerint cselekszik.

And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.

Dar se va ridica un împărat viteaz, care va stăpâni cu o mare putere şi va face ce va voi.

Then a mighty king shall arise, who shall rule with great dominion and do as he wills.

De alighogy fellép, összeomlik a birodalma, és felosztják azt az ég négy szele szerint. De nem az utódaira száll, és nem lesz akkora hatalmuk, mint amellyel ő uralkodott, mert részekre szakad a birodalma, és másoknak adatik, nem nekik.

De alighogy támadt, megrontatik az ő országa és elosztatik az égnek négy tája szerint, de nem [száll] az ő maradékira, és nem az ő hatalma szerint, a melylyel ő uralkodott, mert szétszaggattatik az ő birodalma, és másoknak [adatik] ezeken kivül.

And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.

Şi cum se va întări, aşa se va şi sfărâma împărăţia lui şi va fi împărţită în cele patru vânturi ale cerurilor, dar nu între urmaşii lui, şi nici nu va fi tot atât de puternică pe cât era sub el, căci va fi făcută bucăţele şi va trece la alţii, afară de aceştia.

And as soon as he has arisen, his kingdom shall be broken and divided toward the four winds of heaven, but not to his posterity, nor according to the authority with which he ruled, for his kingdom shall be plucked up and go to others besides these.

A déli király megerősödik, de az egyik vezére fölébe kerekedik, és ő fog uralkodni. Birodalma nagy birodalom lesz.

És elhatalmasodik a déli király, de az ő vezérei közül is [egyik, ]és [ez] hatalmat vesz rajta és uralkodik, nagy uralkodás lesz az ő uralkodása.

And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.

Împăratul de la miazăzi va ajunge tare. Dar unul din mai marii lui va fi şi mai tare decât el şi va domni, întemeind o mare împărăţie.

“Then the king of the south shall be strong, but one of his princes shall be stronger than he and shall rule, and his authority shall be a great authority.

Majd esztendők múltával szövetkeznek, a déli király leánya hozzámegy az északi királyhoz a kiegyezés érdekében. De karjának erejét nem tudja megtartani: nem állhat meg sem ő, sem az ő hatalma. Hanem kiszolgáltatják őt, kísérőit és azt, aki nemzette és gyámolította őt abban az időben.

És esztendők mulva szövetkeznek, és a déli király leánya az északi királyhoz megy, hogy békéltessen, de a kar erejét meg nem tarthatja, és ő sem áll meg, sem az ő karja, hanem kiszolgáltatják őt és az ő kisérőit és az ő nemzőjét és azt, a ki őt egy ideig gyámolította.

And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king's daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times.

După câţiva ani, se vor uni, şi fata împăratului de la miazăzi va veni ca nevastă la împăratul de la miazănoapte, ca să facă o învoială. Dar aceste mijloace de ajutorare nu vor avea nicio putere şi nici celelalte mijloace ale ei nu vor putea ţine piept, ci ea va fi dată la moarte împreună cu alaiul ei, cu tatăl ei şi cu cel ce s-a legat cu ea.

After some years they shall make an alliance, and the daughter of the king of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement. But she shall not retain the strength of her arm, and he and his arm shall not endure, but she shall be given up, and her attendants, he who fathered her, and he who supported her in those times.

De helyére lép az ő gyökerének hajtása közül egy, aki a hadsereg ellen vonul, majd az északi király erődje ellen megy, és beveszi, és hatalmaskodik fölötte.

De támad helyébe az ő gyökerének csemetéje közül, a ki a had ellen jön majd, és tör az északi király erősségeire, és azokat megszállja és beveszi.

But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail:

În vremea aceea însă se va ridica în locul ei un lăstar din aceeaşi rădăcină cu ea şi va veni împotriva oştirii Siriei, da, va intra în cetăţuia împăratului de la miazănoapte, va face ce va voi cu ea şi va fi biruitor.

“And from a branch from her roots one shall arise in his place. He shall come against the army and enter the fortress of the king of the north, and he shall deal with them and shall prevail.

Egyiptomba hurcolja isteneiket, bálványaikat, drága arany- és ezüstedényeiket, és néhány esztendeig erősebb lesz, mint az északi király.

És azoknak isteneit is bálványaikkal és drága arany- és ezüstedényeikkel együtt fogságba viszi Égyiptomba, és néhány esztendeig erősebb lesz, mint az északi király.

And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north.

Va ridica şi va strămuta în Egipt, odată cu prinşii de război, chiar şi pe dumnezeii şi chipurile lor turnate, împreună cu vasele lor scumpe de argint şi de aur. Apoi va lăsa câţiva ani în pace pe împăratul de la miazănoapte.

He shall also carry off to Egypt their gods with their metal images and their precious vessels of silver and gold, and for some years he shall refrain from attacking the king of the north.

Az ugyan betör a déli király országába, de vissza kell térnie a maga földjére.

So the king of the south shall come into his kingdom, and shall return into his own land.

Then the latter shall come into the realm of the king of the south but shall return to his own land.

Ám fiai fölfegyverkeznek, nagy sereget gyűjtenek, amely eljön, ellenállhatatlanul beözönlik, majd továbbvonul. Később visszatérnek, és az erődítményéig jutnak el.

De az ő fiai fegyverkeznek és sok nagy sereget gyűjtenek, és hirtelen jön és beözönlik, és átmegy és visszatér, és hadakoznak mind az ő erősségéig.

But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to his fortress.

Totuşi fiii săi vor începe iarăşi războiul şi vor strânge o mare mulţime de oşti, care va înainta, se va revărsa ca un râu care iese din matcă şi-l vor împinge iarăşi înapoi până la cetăţuie.

“His sons shall wage war and assemble a multitude of great forces, which shall keep coming and overflow and pass through, and again shall carry the war as far as his fortress.

A déli király erre haraggal kivonul, és megütközik az északi királlyal. Az nagy sereget állít vele szembe, de a sereg ennek a kezébe kerül.

És felháborodik a déli király, és kimegy és megütközik vele, az északi királylyal, és az nagy sokaságot állít fel, de ez a sokaság annak a kezébe adatik.

And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north: and he shall set forth a great multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand.

Împăratul de la miazăzi, mâniat de aceasta, va ieşi şi se va lupta cu împăratul de la miazănoapte; va ridica o mare oştire, dar oştile împăratului de la miazănoapte vor fi date în mâinile lui şi nimicite.

Then the king of the south, moved with rage, shall come out and fight against the king of the north. And he shall raise a great multitude, but it shall be given into his hand.

És miután elfogták a sereget, fölfuvalkodik a szíve, és bár sok ezret letipor, mégsem marad meg a hatalma.

És a mint a sokaság elfogatott: felfuvalkodik annak szíve, és sok ezeret letipor; még sem lesz hatalmas.

And when he hath taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down many ten thousands: but he shall not be strengthened by it.

Atunci inima împăratului se va îngâmfa, va doborî zece mii, dar tot nu va birui.

And when the multitude is taken away, his heart shall be exalted, and he shall cast down tens of thousands, but he shall not prevail.

Mert az északi király újabb sereget állít ki, az előbbinél nagyobbat, és néhány esztendő múlva újból felvonul nagy sereggel, jól fölszerelve.

Mert az északi király visszatér, és az előbbinél nagyobb sokaságot állít; néhány esztendő mulva nagy sereggel és nagy készlettel jő bizony.

For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much riches.

Căci împăratul de la miazănoapte se va întoarce şi va strânge o oştire mai mare decât cea dintâi; şi după câtăva vreme, după câţiva ani, va porni în fruntea unei mari oştiri bine înarmate.

For the king of the north shall again raise a multitude, greater than the first. And after some years he shall come on with a great army and abundant supplies.

Azokban az időkben sokan támadnak a déli király ellen. Néped erőszakos fiai is fölkelnek, hogy beteljesítsék a látomást, de elhullanak.

És azokban az időkben sokan támadnak a déli király ellen, a te néped erőszakos fiai is felkelnek, hogy beteljesítsék a látomást, de elhullanak.

And in those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the robbers of thy people shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; but they shall fall.

În vremea aceea, se vor ridica mulţi împotriva împăratului de la miazăzi, şi o ceată de derbedei din poporul tău se vor răscula, ca să împlinească vedenia; dar vor cădea.

“In those times many shall rise against the king of the south, and the violent among your own people shall lift themselves up in order to fulfill the vision, but they shall fail.

Mert eljön az északi király, töltést emel, és beveszi a megerősített várost. Dél seregei nem állhatnak meg előtte, válogatott népének sem lesz ereje, hogy ellenálljon.

Mert eljő észak királya, és töltést emel és beveszi az erősített várost; és délnek seregei meg nem állnak, sem az ő válogatott népe, és semmi erő nem bír ellene állni.

So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the south shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand.

Împăratul de la miazănoapte va înainta, va ridica întărituri şi va pune mâna pe cetăţile întărite. Oştile de la miazăzi, nici chiar floarea oamenilor împăratului nu vor putea să ţină piept, nu vor avea putere să se împotrivească.

Then the king of the north shall come and throw up siegeworks and take a well-fortified city. And the forces of the south shall not stand, or even his best troops, for there shall be no strength to stand.

Az, aki rátört, kénye-kedve szerint cselekszik, és senki sem lesz, aki ellene álljon. Megtelepszik a kívánatos országban, és az megsemmisül az ő kezétől.

És az, a ki reátört, a maga tetszése szerint cselekszik, és senki sem lesz, a ki ellene álljon, és megállapodik a dicső földön, és megsemmisül az az ő kezétől.

But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed.

Cel ce va merge împotriva lui va face ce va voi, şi nimeni nu i se va împotrivi; el se va opri în ţara minunată, nimicind cu desăvârşire tot ce-i va cădea în mână.

But he who comes against him shall do as he wills, and none shall stand before him. And he shall stand in the glorious land, with destruction in his hand.

Azután azt tűzi ki maga elé, hogy bevonul egész országának erejével. A megegyezés szándékával hozzáadja az asszonyok leányát, hogy romlását okozza, de az nem áll mellé, és terve nem valósul meg.

Azután maga elé tűzi, hogy bemegy az ő egész országának erejével, és békés szándékot mutat, és leányasszonyt ad néki [feleségül,] hogy megrontsa, de az nem áll meg és nem tart vele.

He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him.

Îşi va pune de gând să ia în stăpânire toată împărăţia lui şi, făcându-se că are gânduri curate cu el, îi va da pe fiica sa de nevastă, cu gând să-l piardă; dar lucrul acesta nu se va întâmpla şi nu-i va izbândi.

He shall set his face to come with the strength of his whole kingdom, and he shall bring terms of an agreement and perform them. He shall give him the daughter of women to destroy the kingdom, but it shall not stand or be to his advantage.

Majd arcát a szigetek felé fordítja, és sokat elfoglal közülük. De egy vezér véget vet gyalázatosságának úgy, hogy megfizet neki gyalázatosságáért.

És fordítja orczáját a szigetekre, és sokat elfoglal; de az ő gyalázatosságának véget vet egy vezér, a mellett, hogy megfizet néki az ő gyalázatosságáért.

After this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him.

Apoi îşi va întoarce privirile înspre ostroave şi va lua pe multe din ele; dar o căpetenie va pune capăt ruşinii pe care voia el să i-o aducă şi o va întoarce asupra lui.

Afterward he shall turn his face to the coastlands and shall capture many of them, but a commander shall put an end to his insolence. Indeed, he shall turn his insolence back upon him.

Azután arcát saját országának erődítményei felé fordítja, de megbotlik, elesik, és semmivé lesz.

És fordítja orczáját a maga országának erősségeire, és meghanyatlik, elesik és nem találtatik meg.

Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found.

Apoi se va îndrepta spre cetăţuile ţării lui; dar se va poticni, va cădea şi nu-l vor mai găsi.

Then he shall turn his face back toward the fortresses of his own land, but he shall stumble and fall, and shall not be found.

Az, aki a helyére lép, adószedőt küld a kívánatos országba, de rövid időn belül elpusztul, ám nem harag miatt és nem viadalban.

Ennek helyébe jön az, a ki adószedőt jártat végig az ország dicső [földén,] de rövid időn megrontatik, noha nem haraggal, sem viadalban.

Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.

Cel ce-i va lua locul va aduce un asupritor în cea mai frumoasă parte a împărăţiei; dar în câteva zile va fi zdrobit, şi anume nu prin mânie, nici prin război.

“Then shall arise in his place one who shall send an exactor of tribute for the glory of the kingdom. But within a few days he shall be broken, neither in anger nor in battle.

Támad helyette egy utálatos, akinek nem adnak királyi méltóságot, hanem alattomban jön, és hízelkedéssel szerzi meg az országot.

És ennek helyébe egy útálatos áll, a kire nem teszik az ország ékességét; hanem alattomban jő, és hízelkedéssel jut az országhoz.

And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

În locul lui se va ridica un om dispreţuit, fără să aibă putere împărătească; dar se va ridica deodată şi va pune mâna pe împărăţie prin uneltire.

In his place shall arise a contemptible person to whom royal majesty has not been given. He shall come in without warning and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

A beözönlő seregek szétszóródnak előtte, és megsemmisülnek, még a szövetséges fejedelem is.

És a beözönlő seregek elárasztatnak az ő orczája előtt és megtöretnek; még egy szövetséges fejedelem is.

And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.

Oştile se vor revărsa ca un râu înaintea lui, dar vor fi nimicite împreună cu o căpetenie a legământului.

Armies shall be utterly swept away before him and broken, even the prince of the covenant.

Mert amióta barátságba került vele, csalárdul cselekszik ellene. Rátör, és legyőzi egy kevés emberrel.

Mert a vele való megbarátkozás óta csalárdul cselekszik [ellene,] és reátör és győzedelmet vesz rajta kevés néppel.

And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.

După ce se vor uni cu el, el va întrebuinţa o viclenie; va porni şi va birui cu puţină lume.

And from the time that an alliance is made with him he shall act deceitfully, and he shall become strong with a small people.

Alattomban még az ország leggazdagabb részeibe is behatol, és olyat tesz, amit sem atyái, sem atyáinak atyái nem cselekedtek: prédát, zsákmányt és kincseket osztogat közöttük, és az erődítmények ellen is tervet kohol, de csak egy ideig.

Alattomban még az ország gazdag részeibe is behatol, és azt cselekszi, a mit nem cselekedtek sem az ő atyái, sem az ő atyáinak atyái: zsákmányt, prédát és gazdagságot tékozol előlők, és az erősségek ellen is cselt kohol, de csak egy ideig.

He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.

Va intra pe neaşteptate în locurile cele mai roditoare ale ţinutului; va face ce nu făcuseră nici părinţii lui, nici părinţii părinţilor lui: va împărţi prada, jafurile şi bogăţiile; va urzi la planuri împotriva cetăţuilor, şi aceasta va ţine o vreme.

Without warning he shall come into the richest parts of the province, and he shall do what neither his fathers nor his fathers’ fathers have done, scattering among them plunder, spoil, and goods. He shall devise plans against strongholds, but only for a time.

Azután fölindul erejében és bátorságában, és nagy sereggel a déli király ellen fordul. A déli király is harcra készül nagy és igen erős sereggel, de nem állhat meg, mert cselhez folyamodtak ellene.

És felindítja az ő erejét és szívét a déli király ellen nagy sereggel, és a déli király is hadra készül nagy sereggel és igen erőssel, de meg nem állhat, mert cselt koholtak ellene.

And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him.

Apoi va porni în fruntea unei mari oştiri, cu puterea şi mânia lui, împotriva împăratului de la miazăzi. Şi împăratul de la miazăzi se va prinde la război cu o oaste mare şi foarte puternică; dar nu va putea să ţină piept, căci se vor urzi planuri rele împotriva lui.

And he shall stir up his power and his heart against the king of the south with a great army. And the king of the south shall wage war with an exceedingly great and mighty army, but he shall not stand, for plots shall be devised against him.

Azok pusztítják el őt, akik kenyerét eszik. Serege elszéled, és sokan hullanak el sebesülésük miatt.

És a kik az ő ételét eszik, megrontják őt, és az ő serege elszéled, és sokan elhullanak seb miatt.

Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain.

Cei ce vor mânca bucate de la masa lui îi vor aduce pieirea; oştile lui se vor împrăştia ca un râu, şi morţii vor cădea în mare număr.

Even those who eat his food shall break him. His army shall be swept away, and many shall fall down slain.

Ennek a két királynak a szíve gonoszt forral. Egy asztalnál ülnek, mégis hazudnak egymásnak, de siker nélkül, mert eljön a vég a kijelölt időben.

De ennek a két királynak szíve is gonoszt forral, és egy asztalnál hazugságot szólnak [egymásnak;] de siker nélkül, mert a vég még bizonyos időre [elmarad.]

And both of these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.

Cei doi împăraţi nu vor căuta decât să-şi facă rău unul altuia, vor sta la aceeaşi masă şi vor vorbi cu viclenie. Dar nu vor izbuti, căci sfârşitul nu va veni decât la vremea hotărâtă.

And as for the two kings, their hearts shall be bent on doing evil. They shall speak lies at the same table, but to no avail, for the end is yet to be at the time appointed.

Azután visszatér országába nagy gazdagsággal, szíve azonban a szent szövetség ellen fordul, és ellene tesz, majd visszatér országába.

Azért visszatér az ő földére nagy gazdagsággal; de az ő szíve a szent szövetség ellen van, és [ellene] tesz, és újra visszatér az ő földére.

Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.

Când se va întoarce în ţara lui cu mari bogăţii, în inima lui va fi vrăjmaş legământului sfânt, va lucra împotriva lui, şi apoi se va întoarce în ţara lui.

And he shall return to his land with great wealth, but his heart shall be set against the holy covenant. And he shall work his will and return to his own land.

A rendelt időben újra dél ellen vonul. De most nem úgy történik, mint ahogyan először volt.

Bizonyos időben megjő, és délre megy: de nem lesz utolszor úgy, mint először volt.

At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter.

La o vreme hotărâtă, va porni din nou împotriva împăratului de miazăzi; dar de data aceasta lucrurile nu vor mai merge ca mai înainte.

“At the time appointed he shall return and come into the south, but it shall not be this time as it was before.

Mert a kittiek hajói ellene támadnak, erre megijed, visszatér, a szent szövetség ellen dühöng, és ellene cselekszik. Ismét azok felé fordul figyelme, akik elhagyták a szent szövetséget.

Mert kitteus hajók jőnek ellene és megijed, és visszatér és dühöng a szent szövetség ellen és cselekszik [ellene;] visszatér és ügyel azokra, a kik elhagyják a szent szövetséget.

For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.

Ci nişte corăbii din Chitim vor înainta împotriva lui; iar el, deznădăjduit, se va întoarce înapoi. Apoi, mânios împotriva legământului sfânt, nu va sta cu mâinile în sân; ci, la întoarcere, se va înţelege cu cei ce vor părăsi legământul sfânt.

For ships of Kittim shall come against him, and he shall be afraid and withdraw, and shall turn back and be enraged and take action against the holy covenant. He shall turn back and pay attention to those who forsake the holy covenant.

Megjelennek seregei, és megfertőztetik a szent helyet, az erődítményt, megszüntetik a mindennapi áldozatot, és fölállítják a pusztító utálatosságot.

And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

Forces from him shall appear and profane the temple and fortress, and shall take away the regular burnt offering. And they shall set up the abomination that makes desolate.

Azokat, akik gonoszul cselekszenek a szövetség ellen, hízelgéssel hitszegésre csábítja. De az Istenét ismerő nép fölbátorodik, és tettre kél.

És a kik gonoszul cselekesznek a szövetség ellen, azokat hitszegésre csábítja hizelkedésekkel; ellenben az Istenét ismerő nép felbátorodik és cselekeszik.

And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

Dar aceia din popor care vor cunoaşte pe Dumnezeul lor vor rămâne tari şi vor face mari isprăvi.

He shall seduce with flattery those who violate the covenant, but the people who know their God shall stand firm and take action.

A nép közül az értelmesek sokakat oktatnak, de egy ideig elhullnak fegyver, tűz, fogság és rablás miatt.

És a nép értelmesei sokakat oktatnak, de hullanak fegyver és tűz miatt, fogság és rablás miatt napokig.

And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.

Înţelepţii poporului vor învăţa pe mulţi. Unii vor cădea pentru o vreme, loviţi de sabie şi de flacără, de robie şi de jaf.

And the wise among the people shall make many understand, though for some days they shall stumble by sword and flame, by captivity and plunder.

Lesznek, akik az értelmesek közül is elesnek, hogy megpróbáltassanak, megtisztíttassanak és megfehéríttessenek a vég idejéig. Mert még nincs itt a rendelt idő.

És elhullanak az értelmesek közül is, hogy megpróbáltassanak, megtisztíttassanak és megfehéríttessenek a vég idejéig; mert a rendelt idő még [hátra] van.

And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

Chiar şi din cei înţelepţi, mulţi vor cădea, ca să fie încercaţi, curăţaţi şi albiţi, până la vremea sfârşitului, căci sfârşitul nu va fi decât la vremea hotărâtă.

and some of the wise shall stumble, so that they may be refined, purified, and made white, until the time of the end, for it still awaits the appointed time.

Ez a király azt tesz, amit akar. Fölfuvalkodik, nagyobbnak tartja magát minden istennél, és az istenek Istene ellen is vakmerően szól. Mindaddig sikerülnek is dolgai, míg be nem telik a harag. Mert ami el van határozva, az meg is történik.

És a király a maga tetszése szerint cselekszik és felfuvalkodik és felmagasztalja magát minden isten felett, és az istenek Istene ellen is vakmerőn szól, és szerencsés lesz, mígnem betelik a harag; mert a mi elhatároztatott, az végre [is] hajtatik.

And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

Împăratul va face ce va voi; se va înălţa, se va slăvi mai presus de toţi dumnezeii şi va spune lucruri nemaiauzite împotriva Dumnezeului dumnezeilor; şi va propăşi până va trece mânia, căci ce este hotărât se va împlini.

“And the king shall do as he wills. He shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak astonishing things against the God of gods. He shall prosper till the indignation is accomplished; for what is decreed shall be done.

Nem gondol atyáinak isteneivel, nem gondol az asszonyok kedvencével, egyetlen istennel sem, hanem mindegyiknél nagyobbnak tartja magát.

Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

Nu va ţine seamă nici de dumnezeii părinţilor săi, nici de dorinţa femeilor; cu un cuvânt, nu va ţine seamă de niciun dumnezeu, ci se va slăvi pe sine mai presus de toţi.

He shall pay no attention to the gods of his fathers, or to the one beloved by women. He shall not pay attention to any other god, for he shall magnify himself above all.

Ezek helyett az erődök istenét tiszteli. Olyan istent tisztel arannyal, ezüsttel, drágakövekkel és becses ajándékokkal, akit atyái nem is ismertek.

He shall honor the god of fortresses instead of these. A god whom his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and costly gifts.

Az erődített városokban így cselekszik az idegen istenek nevében: Aki hódol neki, annak nagy tekintélyt juttat, és hatalmat ad neki sokak fölött. A földet pedig szétosztja jutalomként.

És az erődített városokban így teszen az idegen istenek nevében: a ki hódol, annak dicsőségét megsokasítja és sokak felett ad nékik hatalmat; a földet elosztja jutalom gyanánt.

Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.

Cu ajutorul acestui dumnezeu străin va lucra împotriva locurilor întărite; cui îl va recunoaşte, îi va da mare cinste, îl va face să domnească peste mulţi şi le va împărţi moşii ca răsplată.

He shall deal with the strongest fortresses with the help of a foreign god. Those who acknowledge him he shall load with honor. He shall make them rulers over many and shall divide the land for a price.

De a vég idején összecsap vele a déli király, az északi király pedig mint a forgószél, úgy támad rá szekerekkel, lovasokkal és sok hajóval. Betör az országokba, elözönli őket, és végigvonul rajtuk.

And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

La vremea sfârşitului, împăratul de la miazăzi se va împunge cu el. Şi împăratul de la miazănoapte se va năpusti ca o furtună peste el, cu care şi călăreţi, şi cu multe corăbii; va înainta asupra ţărilor lui, se va revărsa ca un râu şi le va îneca.

“At the time of the end, the king of the south shall attack him, but the king of the north shall rush upon him like a whirlwind, with chariots and horsemen, and with many ships. And he shall come into countries and shall overflow and pass through.

Bevonul a kívánatos országba, és sokan elesnek. De Edóm, Móáb és Ammón fiainak a színe-java megszabadul a kezéből.

És bemegy a dicső földre, és sokan elesnek; de ezek megszabadulnak az ő kezéből: Edom, Moáb és az Ammon fiainak színe-java.

He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

Va intra şi în ţara cea minunată, şi zeci de mii vor cădea. Dar Edomul, Moabul şi fruntaşii copiilor lui Amon vor scăpa din mâna lui.

He shall come into the glorious land. And tens of thousands shall fall, but these shall be delivered out of his hand: Edom and Moab and the main part of the Ammonites.

Kiterjeszti kezét az országokra, még Egyiptom sem menekülhet meg.

És kezeit az országokra veti, és Égyiptom földe meg nem menekedhetik.

He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

Birtokba veszi Egyiptom arany- és ezüstkincseit és minden drágaságát. Líbiaiak és kúsiták is lesznek kíséretében.

És ura lesz Égyiptom arany- és ezüst-kincseinek és minden drágalátos javainak; libiabeliek és szerecsenek is lesznek az ő kíséretében.

But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

Ci se va face stăpân pe vistieriile de aur şi de argint şi pe toate lucrurile scumpe ale Egiptului. Libienii şi etiopienii vor veni în alai după el.

He shall become ruler of the treasures of gold and of silver, and all the precious things of Egypt, and the Libyans and the Cushites shall follow in his train.

Fölállítja sátorpalotáját a tenger és az ékes szent hegy között. De aztán vége lesz, és senki sem segíthet rajta.

And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

And he shall pitch his palatial tents between the sea and the glorious holy mountain. Yet he shall come to his end, with none to help him.
