Uralkodásának második esztendejében álmokat látott Nebukadneccar, és nyugtalan lett a lelke, és nem tudott tovább aludni.

És Nabukodonozor uralkodásának második esztendejében álmokat láta Nabukodonozor, és nyugtalan lőn az ő lelke, és álma félbeszakadt.

And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, wherewith his spirit was troubled, and his sleep brake from him.

În al doilea an al domniei lui Nebucadneţar, Nebucadneţar a avut nişte vise. Duhul îi era tulburat şi i-a pierit somnul.

In the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams; his spirit was troubled, and his sleep left him.

Ekkor azt mondta a király, hogy hívjanak írástudókat, varázslókat, igézőket és káldeusokat, hogy megmagyarázzák a király álmait. El is jöttek hozzá, és a király elé álltak.

És mondá a király, hogy hívjanak írástudókat, varázslókat, bűbájosokat és Káldeusokat, hogy fejtsék meg a királynak az ő álmait; és bemenének azok, és állának a király elé.

Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the astrologers, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, for to shew the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king.

Împăratul a poruncit să cheme pe vrăjitori, pe cititorii în stele, pe descântători şi pe haldei ca să-i spună visele. Ei au venit şi s-au înfăţişat înaintea împăratului.

Then the king commanded that the magicians, the enchanters, the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans be summoned to tell the king his dreams. So they came in and stood before the king.

Azt mondta nekik a király: Álmot láttam, és nyugtalan a lelkem, amíg meg nem tudom a jelentését.

És monda nékik a király: Álmot láttam, és nyugtalan a lelkem megtudni az álmot.

And the king said unto them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was troubled to know the dream.

Împăratul le-a zis: „Am visat un vis; duhul îmi este tulburat şi aş vrea să ştiu visul acela.”

And the king said to them, “I had a dream, and my spirit is troubled to know the dream.”

A káldeusok arám nyelven azt mondták a királynak: Király, örökké élj! Mondd el az álmot szolgáidnak, és mi megmagyarázzuk az értelmét.

És mondák a Káldeusok a királynak sziriai nyelven: Király, örökké élj! mondd meg az álmot a te szolgáidnak, és megjelentjük az értelmét.

Then spake the Chaldeans to the king in Syriack, O king, live for ever: tell thy servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation.

Haldeii au răspuns împăratului în limba aramaică: „Veşnic să trăieşti, împărate! Spune robilor tăi visul, şi-ţi vom arăta tâlcuirea lui!”

Then the Chaldeans said to the king in Aramaic, “O king, live forever! Tell your servants the dream, and we will show the interpretation.”

De a király így felelt a káldeusoknak: Szilárd az elhatározásom. Ha nem mondjátok meg nekem az álmot és annak jelentését, darabokra tépetlek benneteket, és házaitok szemétdombbá lesznek.

Felele a király, és monda a Káldeusoknak: Az én szavam áll! Ha tehát meg nem mondjátok nékem az álmot és annak értelmét, darabokra tépettek, és a ti házaitok szemétdombokká tétetnek.

The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill.

Împăratul a luat iarăşi cuvântul şi a zis haldeilor: „Mi-a scăpat din minte lucrul acela: dacă nu-mi veţi face cunoscut visul şi tâlcuirea lui, veţi fi făcuţi bucăţi, şi casele voastre vor fi prefăcute într-un morman de murdării.

The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, “The word from me is firm: if you do not make known to me the dream and its interpretation, you shall be torn limb from limb, and your houses shall be laid in ruins.

Ha pedig az álmot és annak értelmét megmagyarázzátok, ajándékot, jutalmat és nagy méltóságot kaptok tőlem. Ezért hát mondjátok meg nekem az álmot és annak jelentését!

Ha pedig az álmot és annak értelmét megjelentitek: ajándékokat, jutalmat és nagy tisztességet vesztek tőlem; ezért az álmot és annak értelmét jelentsétek meg nékem.

But if ye shew the dream, and the interpretation thereof, ye shall receive of me gifts and rewards and great honour: therefore shew me the dream, and the interpretation thereof.

Dar, dacă-mi veţi spune visul şi tâlcuirea lui, veţi primi de la mine daruri şi răsplătiri, şi mare cinste. De aceea, spuneţi-mi visul şi tălmăcirea lui!”

But if you show the dream and its interpretation, you shall receive from me gifts and rewards and great honor. Therefore show me the dream and its interpretation.”

Ők másodszor is így válaszoltak: Mondja meg a király az álmot szolgáinak, és mi megmondjuk a jelentését.

Felelének másodszor, és mondának: A király mondja meg az álmot az ő szolgáinak: és az értelmét megjelentjük.

They answered again and said, Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation of it.

Ei au răspuns a doua oară: „Să spună împăratul robilor săi visul, şi i-l vom tălmăci!”

They answered a second time and said, “Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will show its interpretation.”

Erre a király így felelt: Most már biztosan tudom, hogy csak időt akartok nyerni, mert látjátok, hogy megmásíthatatlan a szavam.

Felele a király, és monda: Bizonnyal tudom én, hogy csak időt akartok ti nyerni, mert látjátok, hogy áll az én szavam.

The king answered and said, I know of certainty that ye would gain the time, because ye see the thing is gone from me.

Împăratul a luat iarăşi cuvântul şi a zis: „Văd, cu adevărat, că voiţi să câştigaţi vreme, pentru că vedeţi că lucrul mi-a scăpat din minte.

The king answered and said, “I know with certainty that you are trying to gain time, because you see that the word from me is firm—

Ha az álmot nem mondjátok el nekem, azt csak egyféleképpen ítélhetem meg: megegyeztetek, hogy hamis és csalárd szavakkal szóltok hozzám, hogy az idő teljen. Mondjátok el az álmot, akkor tudni fogom, hogy az értelmét is meg tudjátok magyarázni.

Hogy ha az álmot meg nem mondjátok nékem, [csak] egy ítélet lehet felőletek: hogy hamis és tétovázó beszédet koholtok, hogy azzal tartsatok engem, míg az idő múlik. Mondjátok meg azért nékem az álmot, akkor tudom, hogy az értelmét is megjelenthetitek nékem.

But if ye will not make known unto me the dream, there is but one decree for you: for ye have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye can shew me the interpretation thereof.

Dacă deci nu-mi veţi spune visul, vă aşteaptă pe toţi aceeaşi soartă, fiindcă vreţi să vă înţelegeţi ca să-mi spuneţi minciuni şi neadevăruri, până se vor schimba vremurile. De aceea, spuneţi-mi visul, ca să ştiu dacă sunteţi în stare să mi-l şi tâlcuiţi!”

if you do not make the dream known to me, there is but one sentence for you. You have agreed to speak lying and corrupt words before me till the times change. Therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that you can show me its interpretation.”

A káldeusok így feleltek a királynak: Nincs ember a földön, aki a király dolgát megjelenthetné. Nincs egyetlen nagy és hatalmas király sem, aki ilyen dolgot kívánt volna írástudóitól, varázslóitól és a káldeusoktól.

Felelének a Káldeusok a királynak, és mondák: Nincs ember a földön, a ki a király dolgát megjelenthesse: mivelhogy bármilyen nagy és hatalmas király sem kívánt még egyetlen írástudótól, varázslótól és Káldeustól sem ilyen dolgot.

The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king's matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.

Haldeii au răspuns împăratului: „Nu este nimeni pe pământ, care să poată spune ce cere împăratul; de aceea niciodată niciun împărat, oricât de mare şi puternic ar fi fost, n-a cerut aşa ceva de la niciun vrăjitor, cititor în stele sau haldeu!

The Chaldeans answered the king and said, “There is not a man on earth who can meet the king’s demand, for no great and powerful king has asked such a thing of any magician or enchanter or Chaldean.

Mert az a dolog, amit a király kíván, igen nehéz, és nincs más, aki azt megjelenthetné a királynak, hanem csak az istenek, akik nem laknak együtt a halandókkal.

Mert a dolog, a mit a király kíván, igen nehéz, és nincs más, a ki azt megjelenthesse a király előtt, hanemha az istenek, a kik nem lakoznak együtt az emberekkel.

And it is a rare thing that the king requireth, and there is none other that can shew it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.

Ce cere împăratul este greu; nu este nimeni care să spună lucrul acesta împăratului, afară de zei, a căror locuinţă nu este printre muritori!”

The thing that the king asks is difficult, and no one can show it to the king except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.”

Emiatt a király megharagudott, igen fölgerjedt, és meghagyta, hogy minden babilóni bölcset veszítsenek el.

E miatt a király megharaguvék és igen felgerjede, és meghagyá, hogy a babiloni bölcsek mind veszíttessenek el.

For this cause the king was angry and very furious, and commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon.

La auzul acestor cuvinte, împăratul s-a mâniat şi s-a supărat foarte tare. A poruncit să piardă pe toţi înţelepţii Babilonului.

Because of this the king was angry and very furious, and commanded that all the wise men of Babylon be destroyed.

Ekkor kiadták a parancsot, hogy öljék meg a bölcseket, és keresték Dánielt és társait is, hogy őket is megöljék.

És a parancsolat kiméne, hogy öljék meg a bölcseket; és keresik vala Dánielt és az ő társait, hogy megölettessenek.

And the decree went forth that the wise men should be slain; and they sought Daniel and his fellows to be slain.

Hotărârea ieşise, înţelepţii începuseră să fie omorâţi, şi căutau şi pe Daniel, şi pe tovarăşii lui, ca să-i piardă.

So the decree went out, and the wise men were about to be killed; and they sought Daniel and his companions, to kill them.

Dániel pedig bölcsen és értelmesen felelt Arjóknak, a királyi testőrség parancsnokának, aki már elindult, hogy megölje a babilóni bölcseket.

Ekkor Dániel bölcsen és értelmesen felele Arióknak, a királyi testőrség fejének, a ki kiment vala, hogy megölesse a babiloni bölcseket.

Then Daniel answered with counsel and wisdom to Arioch the captain of the king's guard, which was gone forth to slay the wise men of Babylon:

Atunci Daniel a vorbit cu minte şi cu judecată lui Arioc, căpetenia străjerilor împăratului, care ieşise să omoare pe înţelepţii Babilonului.

Then Daniel replied with prudence and discretion to Arioch, the captain of the king’s guard, who had gone out to kill the wise men of Babylon.

Azt kérdezte Arjóktól, a király főemberétől: Miért adott ki a király ilyen kegyetlen parancsot? Akkor Arjók elmondta a dolgot Dánielnek.

Szóla és monda Arióknak, a király főemberének: Miért e kegyetlen parancsolat a királytól? Akkor Ariók elmondá a dolgot Dánielnek.

He answered and said to Arioch the king's captain, Why is the decree so hasty from the king? Then Arioch made the thing known to Daniel.

A luat cuvântul şi a zis lui Arioc, căpitanul împăratului: „Pentru ce a dat împăratul o poruncă atât de aspră?” Arioc a spus lui Daniel cum stau lucrurile.

He declared to Arioch, the king’s captain, “Why is the decree of the king so urgent?” Then Arioch made the matter known to Daniel.

Dániel pedig bement a királyhoz, és arra kérte, adjon neki időt, hogy megjelentse az álom értelmét a királynak.

És beméne Dániel, és kéré a királyt, hogy adjon néki időt, hogy megjelenthesse az értelmet a királynak.

Then Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would give him time, and that he would shew the king the interpretation.

Şi Daniel s-a dus la împărat şi l-a rugat să-i dea vreme ca să dea împăratului tâlcuirea.

And Daniel went in and requested the king to appoint him a time, that he might show the interpretation to the king.

Ekkor Dániel hazament, és elmondta ezt a társainak, Hananjának, Mísáélnak és Azarjának,

Ekkor Dániel haza méne, és elmondá e dolgot Ananiásnak, Misáelnek és Azariásnak, az ő társainak:

Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions:

Apoi Daniel s-a dus în casa lui şi a spus despre lucrul acesta tovarăşilor săi, Hanania, Mişael şi Azaria,

Then Daniel went to his house and made the matter known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions,

hogy kérjenek irgalmasságot az egek Istenétől, hogy e titok miatt ne vesszenek el Dániel és társai és a többi babilóni bölcs.

Hogy kérjenek az egek Istenétől irgalmasságot e titok végett, hogy el ne veszszenek Dániel és az ő társai a többi babiloni bölcsekkel együtt.

That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

rugându-i să ceară îndurarea Dumnezeului cerurilor pentru această taină, ca să nu piară Daniel şi tovarăşii săi odată cu ceilalţi înţelepţi ai Babilonului.

and told them to seek mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that Daniel and his companions might not be destroyed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

Akkor Dániel előtt föltárult a titok éjjeli látomásban, Dániel pedig áldotta az egek Istenét.

Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

După aceea, i s-a descoperit lui Daniel taina într-o vedenie în timpul nopţii. Şi Daniel a binecuvântat pe Dumnezeul cerurilor.

Then the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

Így szólt Dániel: Áldott legyen Isten neve örökkön-örökké, mert övé a bölcsesség és az erő!

Szóla Dániel, és monda: Áldott legyen az Istennek neve örökkön örökké: mert övé a bölcseség és az erő.

Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:

Daniel a luat cuvântul şi a zis: „Binecuvântat să fie Numele lui Dumnezeu, din veşnicie în veşnicie! A Lui este înţelepciunea şi puterea.

Daniel answered and said: “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, to whom belong wisdom and might.

Ő változtatja meg az időket és az alkalmakat. Letaszítja és fölemeli a királyokat. Bölcsességet ad a bölcseknek és tudományt az értelmeseknek.

És ő változtatja meg az időket és az időknek részeit; dönt királyokat és tesz királyokat; ád bölcseséget a bölcseknek és tudományt az értelmeseknek.

And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

El schimbă vremurile şi împrejurările; El răstoarnă şi pune pe împăraţi; El dă înţelepciune înţelepţilor şi pricepere, celor pricepuţi!

He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding;

Ő tárja föl a mély és elrejtett dolgokat, tudja, mi van a sötétségben, és világosság lakik vele!

Ő jelenti meg a mély és elrejtett dolgokat, tudja mi van a setétségben; és világosság lakozik vele!

He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.

El descoperă ce este adânc şi ascuns; El ştie ce este în întuneric şi la El locuieşte lumina.

he reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him.

Hálát adok neked, atyáim Istene, és dicsérlek, hogy bölcsességet és erőt adtál nekem, és most tudtul adtad nekem, amit kértünk tőled, mert tudtul adtad nekünk a király dolgát!

Néked adok hálát, atyáimnak Istene, és dicsérlek én téged, hogy bölcseséget és erőt adtál nékem, és mostan megjelentetted nékem, a mit kértünk tőled; mert a király dolgát megjelentetted nékünk!

I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter.

Pe Tine, Dumnezeul părinţilor mei, Te slăvesc şi Te laud că mi-ai dat înţelepciune şi putere şi mi-ai făcut cunoscut ce Ţi-am cerut noi; căci ne-ai descoperit taina împăratului!”

To you, O God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise, for you have given me wisdom and might, and have now made known to me what we asked of you, for you have made known to us the king’s matter.”

Dániel ezután bement Arjókhoz, akit megbízott a király, hogy elveszítse a babilóni bölcseket. Elment hozzá, és azt mondta neki: Ne veszítsd el a babilóni bölcseket! Vigyél a király elé, és megmondom a királynak az álom jelentését.

Beméne azért Dániel Ariókhoz, a kit rendelt vala a király, hogy elveszítse a babiloni bölcseket; elméne azért, és mondá néki: A babiloni bölcseket ne veszíttesd el; vígy engem a király elé és a megfejtést tudtára adom a királynak.

Therefore Daniel went in unto Arioch, whom the king had ordained to destroy the wise men of Babylon: he went and said thus unto him; Destroy not the wise men of Babylon: bring me in before the king, and I will shew unto the king the interpretation.

După aceea, Daniel s-a dus la Arioc, căruia îi poruncise împăratul să piardă pe înţelepţii Babilonului; s-a dus şi i-a vorbit aşa: „Nu pierde pe înţelepţii Babilonului! Du-mă înaintea împăratului, şi voi da împăratului tâlcuirea!”

Therefore Daniel went in to Arioch, whom the king had appointed to destroy the wise men of Babylon. He went and said thus to him: “Do not destroy the wise men of Babylon; bring me in before the king, and I will show the king the interpretation.”

Akkor Arjók sietve bevitte Dánielt a király elé, és azt mondta: Találtam egy férfit a júdai foglyok között, aki az álom jelentését elmondja a királynak.

Akkor Ariók sietve bevivé Dánielt a király elébe, és mondá: Találtam férfiút Júdának fogoly fiai között, a ki a megfejtést megjelenti a királynak.

Then Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste, and said thus unto him, I have found a man of the captives of Judah, that will make known unto the king the interpretation.

Arioc a dus degrabă pe Daniel înaintea împăratului şi i-a vorbit aşa: „Am găsit între prinşii de război ai lui Iuda un om care va da împăratului tâlcuirea!”

Then Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste and said thus to him: “I have found among the exiles from Judah a man who will make known to the king the interpretation.”

Így szólt a király Dánielhez, akit Baltazárnak neveztek: Csakugyan képes vagy arra, hogy elmondd nekem az álmot, amelyet láttam, és annak jelentését?

Szóla a király, és monda Dánielnek, a kit Baltazárnak nevezének: Csakugyan képes vagy megjelenteni nékem az álmot, a melyet láttam, és annak értelmét?

The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof?

Împăratul a luat cuvântul şi a zis lui Daniel, care se numea Beltşaţar: „Eşti tu în stare să-mi spui visul pe care l-am visat şi tâlcuirea lui?”

The king declared to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, “Are you able to make known to me the dream that I have seen and its interpretation?”

Dániel így felelt a királynak: A titkot, amelyről a király tudakozódott, a bölcsek, varázslók, írástudók és jövendőmondók nem tárhatták föl a király előtt.

Felele Dániel a király előtt, és mondá: A titkot, a melyről a király tudakozódék, a bölcsek, varázslók, írástudók, jövendőmondók meg nem jelenthetik a királynak;

Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, shew unto the king;

Daniel a răspuns înaintea împăratului şi a zis: „Ce cere împăratul este o taină pe care înţelepţii, cititorii în stele, vrăjitorii şi ghicitorii nu sunt în stare s-o descopere împăratului.

Daniel answered the king and said, “No wise men, enchanters, magicians, or astrologers can show to the king the mystery that the king has asked,

De van Isten az égben, aki a titkokat föltárja. És ő azt tudatta Nebukadneccar királlyal, hogy mi lesz az utolsó napokban. Álmod, elmédnek látomása az ágyadban ez volt:

De van Isten az égben, a ki a titkokat megjelenti; és ő tudtára adta Nabukodonozor királynak: mi lészen az utolsó napokban. A te álmod és a te fejed látása a te ágyadban ez volt:

But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these;

Dar este în ceruri un Dumnezeu care descoperă tainele şi care face cunoscut împăratului Nebucadneţar ce se va întâmpla în vremurile de pe urmă. Iată visul tău şi vedeniile pe care le-ai avut în patul tău:

but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and he has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. Your dream and the visions of your head as you lay in bed are these:

Neked, ó, király, gondolataid támadtak ágyadban afelől, hogy mi lesz ezután; és aki a titkokat föltárja, megjelentette neked mindazt, ami lesz.

Néked, oh király! gondolataid támadtak a te ágyadban a felől, hogy mik lesznek ez után, és a ki megjelenti a titkokat, megjelentette néked azt, a mi lesz.

As for thee, O king, thy thoughts came into thy mind upon thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter: and he that revealeth secrets maketh known to thee what shall come to pass.

În patul tău, împărate, ţi-au venit în minte gânduri cu privire la cele ce vor fi după aceste vremuri; şi Cel ce descoperă tainele ţi-a făcut cunoscut ce se va întâmpla.

To you, O king, as you lay in bed came thoughts of what would be after this, and he who reveals mysteries made known to you what is to be.

Előttem pedig nem azért tárult föl ez a titok, mert minden élőnél bölcsebb vagyok, hanem azért, hogy az álom értelme a király tudomására jusson, és megértsd szíved gondolatait.

Nékem pedig ez a titok nem bölcseségből, a mely bennem minden élő felett volna, jelentetett meg, hanem azért, hogy a megfejtés tudtára adassék a királynak és te megértsed a te szívednek gondolatait.

But as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living, but for their sakes that shall make known the interpretation to the king, and that thou mightest know the thoughts of thy heart.

Însă, dacă mi s-a descoperit taina aceasta, nu înseamnă că este în mine o înţelepciune mai mare decât a tuturor celor vii, ci pentru ca să se dea împăratului tâlcuirea ei şi să afli ce-ţi doreşte inima să ştii.

But as for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because of any wisdom that I have more than all the living, but in order that the interpretation may be made known to the king, and that you may know the thoughts of your mind.

Te, ó, király, íme, egy nagy szobrot láttál. Ez a szobor hatalmas volt és igen fényes. Előtted állt, és látványa rettenetes volt.

Te látád, oh király, és ímé egy nagy kép; ez a kép, mely hatalmas vala és kiváló az ő fényessége, előtted áll vala, és az ábrázata rettenetes volt.

Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible.

Tu, împărate, te uitai, şi iată că ai văzut un chip mare. Chipul acesta era foarte mare şi de o strălucire nemaipomenită. Stătea în picioare înaintea ta, şi înfăţişarea lui era înfricoşătoare.

“You saw, O king, and behold, a great image. This image, mighty and of exceeding brightness, stood before you, and its appearance was frightening.

Amíg nézted, egy kő leszakadt anélkül, hogy egy kéz érintette volna, és ledöntötte azt a szobrot vas- és cseréplábairól, és darabokra zúzta.

Nézed vala, a míg egy kő leszakada kéz [érintése] nélkül, és letöré azt az [álló]képet vas- és cseréplábairól, és darabokra zúzá azokat.

Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.

Tu te uitai la el, şi s-a dezlipit o piatră fără ajutorul vreunei mâini, a izbit picioarele de fier şi de lut ale chipului şi le-a făcut bucăţi.

As you looked, a stone was cut out by no human hand, and it struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces.

Akkor összezúzódott a vas, a cserép, a réz, az ezüst és az arany. Olyanok lettek, mint nyári szérűn a polyva, amelyet fölkap a szél, és a helyét sem találják többé. Az a kő pedig, amely ledöntötte a szobrot, nagy heggyé lett, és betöltötte az egész földet.

Akkor egygyé zúzódék a vas, cserép, réz, ezüst és arany, és lőnek mint a nyári szérűn a polyva, és felkapá azokat a szél, és helyöket sem találák azoknak. Az a kő pedig, a mely leüté az [álló]képet nagy hegygyé lőn, és betölté az egész földet.

Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

Atunci fierul, lutul, arama, argintul şi aurul s-au sfărâmat împreună şi s-au făcut ca pleava din arie vara; le-a luat vântul, şi nici urmă nu s-a mai găsit din ele. Dar piatra care sfărâmase chipul s-a făcut un munte mare şi a umplut tot pământul.

Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold, all together were broken in pieces, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, so that not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

Ez az álom, és annak jelentését is megmondjuk a királynak.

Ez az álom, és értelmét is megmondjuk a királynak.

This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king.

“This was the dream. Now we will tell the king its interpretation.

Te, ó, király, királyok királya, akinek az egek Istene birodalmat, hatalmat, erőt és dicsőséget adott,

Te, oh király! királyok királya, kinek az egek Istene birodalmat, hatalmat, erőt és dicsőséget adott;

Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.

Tu, împărate, eşti împăratul împăraţilor, căci Dumnezeul cerurilor ţi-a dat împărăţie, putere, bogăţie şi slavă.

You, O king, the king of kings, to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, the power, and the might, and the glory,

és mindenütt, ahol emberek, mezei állatok és égi madarak laknak, a te kezedbe adta azokat, és úrrá tett téged mindezeken: te vagy az aranyfej.

És valahol emberek fiai, mezei állatok és égi madarak lakoznak, a te kezedbe adta azokat, és úrrá tett téged mindezeken: Te vagy az arany-fej.

And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold.

El ţi-a dat în mâini, oriunde locuiesc ei, pe copiii oamenilor, fiarele câmpului şi păsările cerului şi te-a făcut stăpân peste toate acestea: tu eşti capul de aur!

and into whose hand he has given, wherever they dwell, the children of man, the beasts of the field, and the birds of the heavens, making you rule over them all—you are the head of gold.

Utánad egy másik birodalom támad, amely kisebb nálad. Majd egy harmadik birodalom, rézből való, amely az egész földön uralkodik.

És utánad más birodalom támad, alábbvaló mint te; és egy másik, egy harmadik birodalom, rézből való, a mely az egész földön uralkodik.

And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.

După tine se va ridica o altă împărăţie, mai neînsemnată decât a ta; apoi o a treia împărăţie, care va fi de aramă şi care va stăpâni peste tot pământul.

Another kingdom inferior to you shall arise after you, and yet a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over all the earth.

A negyedik birodalom pedig erős lesz, mint a vas, mert a vas széttör és összezúz mindent. Bizony, miként a vas pusztít, úgy töri össze és pusztítja el mindazokat.

A negyedik birodalom pedig erős lesz, mint a vas; mert [miként] a vas széttör és összezúz mindent; bizony mint a vas pusztít, mind amazokat szétzúzza és elpusztítja.

And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.

Va fi o a patra împărăţie, tare ca fierul; după cum fierul sfărâmă şi rupe totul, şi ea va sfărâma şi va rupe totul, ca fierul care face totul bucăţi.

And there shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron, because iron breaks to pieces and shatters all things. And like iron that crushes, it shall break and crush all these.

És miképpen a lábakat és az ujjakat részint cserépből, részint vasból valónak láttad, úgy az a birodalom kétfelé szakad, de lesz benne a vas erejéből, amint láttad, hogy a vas össze van keverve az agyagcseréppel.

Hogy pedig lábakat és ujjakat részint cserépből, részint vasból valónak láttál: a birodalom kétfelé oszol, de lesz benne a vasnak erejéből, a mint láttad, hogy a vas elegy volt az agyagcseréppel.

And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.

Şi după cum ai văzut picioarele şi degetele picioarelor parte de lut de olar şi parte de fier, tot aşa şi împărăţia aceasta va fi împărţită; dar va rămâne în ea ceva din tăria fierului, tocmai aşa cum ai văzut fierul amestecat cu lutul.

And as you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, it shall be a divided kingdom, but some of the firmness of iron shall be in it, just as you saw iron mixed with the soft clay.

Lábujjai részint vasból, részint cserépből vannak, mert az a birodalom részben erős, részben pedig törékeny lesz.

És hogy a lába ujjai részint vas, részint cserép: az a birodalom részint erős, részint pedig törékeny lesz.

And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.

Şi după cum degetele de la picioare erau parte de fier şi parte de lut, tot aşa şi împărăţia aceasta va fi în parte tare şi în parte plăpândă.

And as the toes of the feet were partly iron and partly clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly brittle.

Az, hogy vasat agyagcseréppel összekeveredve láttál, azt jelenti, hogy utódaik házasodás révén keverednek, de nem egyesülnek egymással, amint a vas sem vegyül a cseréppel.

Hogy pedig vasat elegyülve láttál agyagcseréppel: azok emberi mag által vegyülnek össze, de egymással nem egyesülnek, minthogy a vas nem egyesül a cseréppel.

And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

Dacă ai văzut fierul amestecat cu lutul, înseamnă că se vor amesteca prin legături omeneşti de căsătorie, dar nu vor fi lipiţi unul de altul, după cum fierul nu se poate uni cu lutul.

As you saw the iron mixed with soft clay, so they will mix with one another in marriage, but they will not hold together, just as iron does not mix with clay.

Ezeknek a királyoknak az idejében támaszt az egek Istene egy birodalmat, amely nem pusztul el soha, és ez a birodalom más népre nem száll át, hanem szétzúzza, és véget vet azoknak a birodalmaknak, ő maga pedig örökké fennmarad.

És azoknak a királyoknak idejében támaszt az egek Istene birodalmat, mely soha örökké meg nem romol, és ez a birodalom más népre nem száll át [hanem] szétzúzza és elrontja mindazokat a birodalmakat, maga pedig megáll örökké.

And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

Dar în vremea acestor împăraţi, Dumnezeul cerurilor va ridica o împărăţie care nu va fi nimicită niciodată şi care nu va trece sub stăpânirea unui alt popor. Ea va sfărâma şi va nimici toate acele împărăţii, şi ea însăşi va dăinui veşnic.

And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever,

Ezért láttad, hogy a hegyről kő szakadt le anélkül, hogy egy kéz érintette volna, és szétzúzta a vasat, rezet, cserepet, ezüstöt és az aranyat. A nagy Isten tudtul adta a királynak azt, ami majd ezután lesz. Az álom igaz, és bizonyos annak értelme.

Minthogy láttad, hogy a hegyről kő szakad vala le kéz [érintése] nélkül, és szétzúzá a vasat, rezet, cserepet, ezüstöt és aranyat: a nagy Isten azt jelentette meg a királynak, a mi majd ezután lészen; és igaz az álom, és bizonyos annak értelme.

Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

Aceasta înseamnă piatra pe care ai văzut-o dezlipindu-se din munte fără ajutorul vreunei mâini şi care a sfărâmat fierul, arama, lutul, argintul şi aurul. Dumnezeul cel mare a făcut deci cunoscut împăratului ce are să se întâmple după aceasta. Visul este adevărat, şi tâlcuirea lui este temeinică.”

just as you saw that a stone was cut from a mountain by no human hand, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold. A great God has made known to the king what shall be after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation sure.”

Akkor Nebukadneccar király arcra borult, és imádta Dánielt, és meghagyta, hogy étel- és illatáldozatot mutassanak be neki.

Akkor Nabukodonozor király arczra borula és imádá Dánielt, és meghagyá, hogy ételáldozattal és jó illattal áldozzanak néki.

Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him.

Atunci împăratul Nebucadneţar a căzut cu faţa la pământ şi s-a închinat înaintea lui Daniel, şi a poruncit să i se aducă jertfe de mâncare şi miresme.

Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face and paid homage to Daniel, and commanded that an offering and incense be offered up to him.

Azután így szólt a király Dánielhez: Valóban a ti Istenetek az istenek Istene, és a királyok ura, és a titkok kinyilatkoztatója, mivel te megjelenthetted ezt a titkot!

Szóla a király Dánielnek, és monda: Bizonynyal a ti Istenetek, ő az isteneknek Istene, és a királyoknak ura és a titkok megjelentője, hogy te is megjelenthetted ezt a titkot!

The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret.

Împăratul a vorbit lui Daniel şi a zis: „Cu adevărat, Dumnezeul vostru este Dumnezeul dumnezeilor şi Domnul împăraţilor, şi El descoperă tainele, fiindcă ai putut să descoperi taina aceasta!”

The king answered and said to Daniel, “Truly, your God is God of gods and Lord of kings, and a revealer of mysteries, for you have been able to reveal this mystery.”

Akkor a király fölmagasztalta Dánielt, sok és nagy ajándékot adott neki, és hatalmat adott neki Babilón egész tartománya fölött, és az összes babilóni bölcs elöljárójává tette.

Akkor a király fölmagasztalá Dánielt, és sok nagy ajándékot ada néki, és hatalmat adott néki Babilonnak egész tartománya felett, és a babiloni összes bölcseknek előljárójává tevé őt.

Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon.

Apoi împăratul a înălţat pe Daniel şi i-a dat daruri multe şi bogate; i-a dat stăpânire peste tot ţinutul Babilonului şi l-a pus ca cea mai înaltă căpetenie a tuturor înţelepţilor Babilonului.

Then the king gave Daniel high honors and many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon and chief prefect over all the wise men of Babylon.

Dániel pedig azt kérte a királytól, hogy Sadrakot, Mésakot és Abédnegót rendelje ki a babilóni tartomány gondviselésére, Dániel pedig a király udvarában maradt.

És Dániel kéré a királyt, hogy Sidrákot, Misákot és Abednégót rendelje a babiloni tartomány gondviselésére; Dániel pedig a király udvarában vala.

Then Daniel requested of the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, over the affairs of the province of Babylon: but Daniel sat in the gate of the king.

Daniel a rugat pe împărat să dea grija treburilor ţinutului Babilonului în mâna lui Şadrac, Meşac şi Abed-Nego. Daniel însă a rămas la curtea împăratului.

Daniel made a request of the king, and he appointed Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego over the affairs of the province of Babylon. But Daniel remained at the king’s court.
