Jójákim, Júda királya uralkodásának harmadik esztendejében eljött Nebukadneccar, Babilónia királya Jeruzsálem ellen, és ostrom alá vette.

Jojakim, Júda királya uralkodásának harmadik esztendejében jöve Nabukodonozor, a babiloni király Jeruzsálemre, és megszállá azt.

In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it.

În al treilea an al domniei lui Ioiachim, împăratul lui Iuda, Nebucadneţar, împăratul Babilonului, a venit împotriva Ierusalimului şi l-a împresurat.

In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it.

Az Úr a kezébe adta Jójákimot, Júda királyát és az Isten háza edényeinek egy részét. Ő pedig elvitte azokat Sineár földjére, az ő istenének házába, és az edényeket az ő istenének kincstárában helyezte el.

És kezébe adá az Úr Jojakimot, a Júda királyát, és az Isten háza edényeinek egy részét; és vivé azokat Sineár földére, az ő istenének házába, és az edényeket bevivé az ő istenének kincsesházába.

And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.

Domnul a dat în mâinile lui pe Ioiachim, împăratul lui Iuda şi o parte din vasele Casei lui Dumnezeu. Nebucadneţar a dus vasele în ţara Şinear, în casa dumnezeului său, le-a pus în casa vistieriei dumnezeului său.

And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with some of the vessels of the house of God. And he brought them to the land of Shinar, to the house of his god, and placed the vessels in the treasury of his god.

Majd azt mondta a király Aspenaznak, a főudvarmesterének, hogy hozzon ifjakat Izráel fiai közül, a királyi utódok közül és az előkelő származásúak közül,

És mondá a király Aspenáznak, az udvarmesterek fejedelmének, hogy hozzon az Izráel fiai közül és királyi magból való s előkelő származású ifjakat,

And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king's seed, and of the princes;

Împăratul a dat poruncă lui Aşpenaz, căpetenia famenilor săi dregători, să-i aducă vreo câţiva din copiii lui Israel de neam împărătesc şi de viţă boierească,

Then the king commanded Ashpenaz, his chief eunuch, to bring some of the people of Israel, both of the royal family and of the nobility,

akikben semmiféle fogyatékosság nincs, hanem szép arcúak, bölcsen használják eszüket, sokat tudnak, értenek a tudományokhoz, és alkalmasak lehetnek arra, hogy a király palotájában szolgálatba álljanak, és hogy megtanítsák őket a káldeusok írására és nyelvére.

A kikben semmi fogyatkozás nincsen, hanem a kik ábrázatra nézve szépek, minden bölcseségre eszesek, és ismeretekkel bírnak és értenek a tudományokhoz, és a kik alkalmatosak legyenek arra, hogy álljanak a király palotájában; és tanítsák meg azokat a Káldeusok írására és nyelvére.

Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.

nişte tineri fără vreun cusur trupesc, frumoşi la chip, înzestraţi cu înţelepciune în orice ramură a ştiinţei, cu minte ageră şi pricepere, în stare să slujească în casa împăratului şi pe care să-i înveţe scrierea şi limba haldeilor.

youths without blemish, of good appearance and skillful in all wisdom, endowed with knowledge, understanding learning, and competent to stand in the king’s palace, and to teach them the literature and language of the Chaldeans.

A király pedig elrendelte nekik a mindennapi adagot a királyi ételből és a borból, amelyből ő szokott inni, hogy így neveljék őket három esztendeig, és azután a király előtt álljanak.

És rendele nékik a király mindennapi szükségletül a királyi ételből és a borból, melyből ő iszik vala, hogy így nevelje őket három esztendeig, és azután álljanak a király előtt.

And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.

Împăratul le-a rânduit pe fiecare zi o parte din bucatele de la masa lui şi din vinul de care bea el, vrând să-i crească timp de trei ani, după care aveau să fie în slujba împăratului.

The king assigned them a daily portion of the food that the king ate, and of the wine that he drank. They were to be educated for three years, and at the end of that time they were to stand before the king.

Júda fiai közül ezek között volt Dániel, Hananjá, Mísáél és Azarjá.

Valának pedig ezek között a Júda fiai közül: Dániel, Ananiás, Misáel és Azariás.

Now among these were of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah:

Printre ei erau, dintre copiii lui Iuda: Daniel, Hanania, Mişael şi Azaria.

Among these were Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah of the tribe of Judah.

A főudvarmester azonban más nevet adott nekik. Dánielt Baltazárnak, Hananját Sadraknak, Mísáélt Mésaknak, Azarját pedig Abédnegónak nevezte el.

És az udvarmesterek fejedelme neveket ada nékik; tudniillik elnevezé Dánielt Baltazárnak, Ananiást Sidráknak, Misáelt Misáknak, Azariást Abednegónak.

Unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave unto Daniel the name of Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, of Shadrach; and to Mishael, of Meshach; and to Azariah, of Abednego.

Căpetenia famenilor dregători le-a pus însă alte nume, şi anume: lui Daniel i-a pus numele Beltşaţar, lui Hanania, Şadrac, lui Mişael, Meşac, şi lui Azaria, Abed-Nego.

And the chief of the eunuchs gave them names: Daniel he called Belteshazzar, Hananiah he called Shadrach, Mishael he called Meshach, and Azariah he called Abednego.

De Dániel eltökélte szívében, hogy nem fertőzteti meg magát a király ételével és a borral, amelyből ő ivott, és kérte a főudvarmestert, hogy ne kelljen magát megfertőztetnie.

De Dániel eltökélé az ő szívében, hogy nem fertőzteti meg magát a király ételével és a borral, a melyből az iszik vala, és kéré az udvarmesterek fejedelmét, hogy ne kelljen magát megfertőztetnie.

But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

Daniel s-a hotărât să nu se spurce cu bucatele alese ale împăratului şi cu vinul pe care-l bea împăratul şi a rugat pe căpetenia famenilor dregători să nu-l silească să se spurce.

But Daniel resolved that he would not defile himself with the king’s food, or with the wine that he drank. Therefore he asked the chief of the eunuchs to allow him not to defile himself.

Isten pedig kegyelemre és irgalomra méltóvá tette Dánielt a főudvarmester előtt.

És az Isten kegyelemre és irgalomra [méltóvá] tevé Dánielt az udvarmesterek fejedelme előtt;

Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.

Dumnezeu a făcut ca Daniel să capete bunăvoinţă şi trecere înaintea căpeteniei famenilor dregători.

And God gave Daniel favor and compassion in the sight of the chief of the eunuchs,

Azt mondta a főudvarmester Dánielnek: Félek az én uramtól, a királytól, aki elrendelte, hogy mi legyen az ételetek és az italotok. Miért látná, hogy a ti arcotok soványabb, mint a veletek egykorú ifjaké? Hiszen így bajba sodornátok engem a királynál!

És mondá az udvarmesterek fejedelme Dánielnek: Félek én az én uramtól, a királytól, a ki megrendelte a ti ételeteket és italotokat; minek lássa, hogy a ti orczátok hitványabb amaz ifjakénál, a kik egykorúak veletek? és így bűnbe kevernétek az én fejemet a királynál.

And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king.

Căpetenia famenilor a zis lui Daniel: „Mă tem numai de domnul meu, împăratul, care a hotărât ce trebuie să mâncaţi şi să beţi, ca nu cumva să vadă feţele voastre mai triste decât ale celorlalţi tineri de vârsta voastră, şi să-mi puneţi astfel capul în primejdie înaintea împăratului.”

and the chief of the eunuchs said to Daniel, “I fear my lord the king, who assigned your food and your drink; for why should he see that you were in worse condition than the youths who are of your own age? So you would endanger my head with the king.”

Akkor Dániel azt mondta annak a felügyelőnek, akit a főudvarmester Dániel, Hananjá, Mísáél és Azarjá fölé rendelt:

És mondá Dániel a felügyelőnek, a kire az udvarmesterek fejedelme bízta vala Dánielt, Ananiást, Misáelt és Azariást:

Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,

Atunci Daniel a zis îngrijitorului căruia îi încredinţase căpetenia famenilor privegherea asupra lui Daniel, Hanania, Mişael şi Azaria:

Then Daniel said to the steward whom the chief of the eunuchs had assigned over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,

Kérlek, tégy próbát szolgáiddal tíz napig! Adjanak nekünk zöldségféléket, hogy azt együnk, és vizet, hogy azt igyunk.

Tégy próbát, kérlek, a te szolgáiddal tíz napig, és adjanak nékünk zöldségféléket, hogy azt együnk, és vizet, hogy azt igyunk.

Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.

„Încearcă pe robii tăi zece zile şi să ni se dea de mâncat zarzavaturi şi apă de băut;

“Test your servants for ten days; let us be given vegetables to eat and water to drink.

Azután nézd meg a mi arcunkat és azoknak az ifjaknak arcát, akik a király ételéből esznek, és amit látsz, annak megfelelően cselekedjél majd szolgáiddal.

Azután mutassák meg néked a mi ábrázatunkat és amaz ifjak ábrázatát, a kik a király ételével élnek, és a szerint cselekedjél majd a te szolgáiddal.

Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.

să te uiţi apoi la faţa noastră şi la a celorlalţi tineri care mănâncă din bucatele împăratului şi să faci cu robii tăi după cele ce vei vedea!”

Then let our appearance and the appearance of the youths who eat the king’s food be observed by you, and deal with your servants according to what you see.”

Erre ő engedett nekik ebben a dologban, és próbát tett velük tíz napig.

És engede nékik ebben a dologban, és próbát tőn velük tíz napig.

So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days.

El i-a ascultat în privinţa aceasta şi i-a încercat zece zile.

So he listened to them in this matter, and tested them for ten days.

Tíz nap múlva arcuk szebbnek és testük tápláltabbnak látszott a többi ifjúénál, akik a király ételéből ettek.

És tíz nap mulva szebbnek látszék az ő ábrázatuk, és testben kövérebbek valának mindazoknál az ifjaknál, a kik a király ételével élnek vala.

And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat.

După cele zece zile, ei erau mai bine la faţă şi mai graşi decât toţi tinerii care mâncau din bucatele împăratului.

At the end of ten days it was seen that they were better in appearance and fatter in flesh than all the youths who ate the king’s food.

Ezért a felügyelő elvette a nekik rendelt ételt és bort, és zöldségféléket adott nekik.

Elvevé azért a felügyelő az ő ételöket és az ő italokul rendelt bort, és ad vala nékik zöldségféléket.

Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse.

Îngrijitorul lua bucatele şi vinul care le erau rânduite şi le dădea zarzavaturi.

So the steward took away their food and the wine they were to drink, and gave them vegetables.

Isten pedig a négy ifjúnak ismeretet és értelmet adott mindenféle íráshoz és bölcsességhez. Dániel pedig értett mindenféle látomáshoz és az álmokhoz is.

És ada az Isten ennek a négy gyermeknek tudományt, minden írásban való értelmet és bölcseséget; Dániel pedig értett mindenféle látomáshoz és álmokhoz [is.]

As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

Dumnezeu a dat acestor patru tineri ştiinţă şi pricepere pentru tot felul de scrieri, şi înţelepciune; mai ales însă a făcut pe Daniel priceput în toate vedeniile şi în toate visele.

As for these four youths, God gave them learning and skill in all literature and wisdom, and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

Miután pedig elérkezett az idő, amikorra meghagyta a király, hogy eléje vigyék őket, bevitte őket a főudvarmester Nebukadneccar elé.

Miután pedig elmúlt az idő, a mikorra meghagyta vala a király, hogy [eléje] vigyék őket, bevivé őket az udvarmesterek fejedelme Nabukodonozor elé.

Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.

La vremea sorocită de împărat ca să-i aducă la el, căpetenia famenilor i-a adus înaintea lui Nebucadneţar.

At the end of the time, when the king had commanded that they should be brought in, the chief of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.

A király beszélgetett velük, és az összes közül senki sem volt olyan, mint Dániel, Hananjá, Mísáél és Azarjá, így ők a király szolgálatába álltak.

És szóla velök a király, és mindnyájok között sem találtaték olyan, mint Dániel, Ananiás, Misáel és Azariás, és állának a király előtt.

And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king.

Împăratul a stat de vorbă cu ei: dar între toţi tinerii aceia nu s-a găsit niciunul ca Daniel, Hanania, Mişael şi Azaria. De aceea, ei au fost primiţi în slujba împăratului.

And the king spoke with them, and among all of them none was found like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. Therefore they stood before the king.

Minden bölcsességet és értelmet kívánó dologban, amely felől a király érdeklődött tőlük, tízszer okosabbnak találta őket mindazoknál az írástudóknál és varázslóknál, akik egész országában voltak.

És minden bölcs és értelmes dologban, a mely felől a király tőlök tudakozódék, tízszerte okosabbaknak találá őket mindazoknál az írástudóknál és varázslóknál, a kik egész országában valának.

And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.

În toate lucrurile care cereau înţelepciune şi pricepere şi despre care îi întreba împăratul, îi găsea de zece ori mai destoinici decât toţi vrăjitorii şi cititorii în stele care erau în toată împărăţia lui.

And in every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters that were in all his kingdom.

Dániel ott is maradt Círusz király első esztendejéig.

És [ott] vala Dániel a Cyrus király első esztendejéig.

And Daniel continued even unto the first year of king Cyrus.

Aşa a dus-o Daniel până în anul dintâi al împăratului Cirus.

And Daniel was there until the first year of King Cyrus.
