Círusnak, Perzsia királyának harmadik esztendejében kijelentést kapott Dániel, akit Baltazárnak is neveznek. Igaz ez a kijelentés, és nagy háborúról szól. Ő megértette a kijelentést, és így megértette a látomást.

Czírusnak, Persia királyának harmadik esztendejében egy ige jelenteték Dánielnek, a ki Baltazárnak nevezteték; igaz az ige és nagy bajról való; és figyele az igére és megérté a látomást.

In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.

În anul al treilea al lui Cirus, împăratul Persiei, s-a descoperit un cuvânt lui Daniel, numit Beltşaţar. Cuvântul acesta, care este adevărat, vesteşte o mare nenorocire. El a fost cu luare aminte la cuvântul acesta şi a priceput vedenia.

In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a word was revealed to Daniel, who was named Belteshazzar. And the word was true, and it was a great conflict. And he understood the word and had understanding of the vision.

Azokban a napokban én, Dániel, gyászoltam három teljes hétig.

Azokon a napokon én, Dániel, bánkódtam három egész hétig.

In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.

„În vremea aceea, eu, Daniel, trei săptămâni am fost în jale.

In those days I, Daniel, was mourning for three weeks.

Kívánatos ételt nem ettem, húst és bort sem vettem a számba, és olajjal sem kentem meg magamat, míg el nem telt az a három hét.

Kívánatos étket nem ettem, hús és bor nem ment az én számba, és soha sem kentem meg magamat, míg el nem telék az egész három hét.

I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.

N-am mâncat deloc bucate alese, nu mi-a intrat în gură nici carne, nici vin şi nici nu m-am uns deloc, până s-au împlinit cele trei săptămâni.

I ate no delicacies, no meat or wine entered my mouth, nor did I anoint myself at all, for the full three weeks.

Az első hónap huszonnegyedik napján a nagy folyam, a Hiddekel partján voltam.

És az első hónapnak huszonnegyedik napján, ímé én a nagy folyóvíznek, azaz a Hiddekelnek partján valék.

And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel;

În a douăzeci şi patra zi a lunii întâi, eram pe malul râului celui mare, care este Hidechel (Tigru).

On the twenty-fourth day of the first month, as I was standing on the bank of the great river (that is, the Tigris)

Föltekintettem, és egy férfit láttam gyolcsruhába öltözve, derekán színarany övvel.

És felemelém szemeimet, és látám, és ímé: egy férfiú, gyolcsba öltözve, és dereka ufázi aranynyal övezve.

Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:

Am ridicat ochii, m-am uitat şi iată că acolo stătea un om îmbrăcat în haine de in şi încins la mijloc cu un brâu de aur din Ufaz.

I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, a man clothed in linen, with a belt of fine gold from Uphaz around his waist.

Teste olyan volt, mint a drágakő, arca olyan, mint a villám, és szemei olyanok, mint az égő fáklyák. Karja és lába, mint a csillogó réz, és ahogy beszélt, a hangja olyan volt, mint a sokaság zúgása.

És teste olyan mint a társiskő, és orczája olyan mint a villám, és szemei olyanok mint az égő szövétnekek, karjai és lábatája mint az izzó ércznek színe, és az ő beszédének szava olyan, mint a sokaság zúgása.

His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.

Trupul lui era ca o piatră de crisolit, faţa îi strălucea ca fulgerul şi ochii îi erau nişte flăcări ca de foc; dar braţele şi picioarele semănau cu nişte aramă lustruită, şi glasul lui tuna ca vuietul unei mari mulţimi.

His body was like beryl, his face like the appearance of lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and the sound of his words like the sound of a multitude.

De csak én, Dániel láttam ezt a látomást, a férfiak, akik velem voltak, nem látták azt, mert nagy rémület szállt rájuk, és elfutottak, hogy elrejtőzzenek.

És egyedül én, Dániel láttam e látomást, a férfiak pedig, a kik velem valának, nem látták a látomást; hanem nagy rettenés szálla reájok, és elfutának, hogy elrejtőzzenek.

And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.

Eu, Daniel, am văzut singur vedenia; dar oamenii care erau cu mine n-au văzut-o; totuşi au fost apucaţi de o mare spaimă şi au luat-o la fugă ca să se ascundă!

And I, Daniel, alone saw the vision, for the men who were with me did not see the vision, but a great trembling fell upon them, and they fled to hide themselves.

Egyedül hagytak engem, és akkor láttam ezt a nagy látomást. Semmi erő sem maradt bennem, arcom eltorzult, és nem tudtam erőre kapni.

És én egyedül hagyattam, és látám ezt a nagy látomást, és semmi erő sem marada bennem, és orczám eltorzula, és oda lőn minden erőm.

Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.

Eu am rămas singur şi am văzut această mare vedenie. Puterile m-au lăsat, culoarea mi s-a schimbat, faţa mi s-a sluţit şi am pierdut orice vlagă.

So I was left alone and saw this great vision, and no strength was left in me. My radiant appearance was fearfully changed, and I retained no strength.

Hallottam beszédének hangját. És amikor hallottam a hagját, ahogy beszélt, ájultan arccal a földre borultam.

És hallám az ő beszédének szavát; és mikor hallám az ő beszédének szavát, én ájultan orczámra esém, és pedig orczámmal a földre.

Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.

Am auzit glasul cuvintelor lui; şi pe când auzeam glasul cuvintelor lui, am căzut leşinat cu faţa la pământ.

Then I heard the sound of his words, and as I heard the sound of his words, I fell on my face in deep sleep with my face to the ground.

Ekkor egy kéz érintett meg engem, és fölsegített a térdemre és a tenyeremre.

És ímé, egy kéz illete engem, és felsegített térdeimre és tenyereimre;

And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.

Şi iată că o mână m-a atins şi m-a aşezat tremurând pe genunchii şi mâinile mele.

And behold, a hand touched me and set me trembling on my hands and knees.

Azt mondta nekem: Dániel, kedves férfiú! Értsd meg a beszédeket, amelyeket neked mondok, és állj föl, mert most hozzád küldettem! Amikor ezeket a szavakat mondta nekem, reszketve felálltam.

És monda nékem: Dániel, kedves férfiú! Értsd meg a beszédeket, a melyeket én szólok néked, és állj helyedre, mert most te hozzád küldettem! És mikor e szót szólá velem, felállék reszketve.

And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.

Apoi mi-a zis: „Daniele, om preaiubit şi scump, fii cu luare aminte la cuvintele pe care ţi le voi spune acum şi stai în picioare în locul unde eşti; căci acum sunt trimis la tine!” După ce mi-a vorbit astfel, am stat în picioare tremurând.

And he said to me, “O Daniel, man greatly loved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for now I have been sent to you.” And when he had spoken this word to me, I stood up trembling.

Azt mondta nekem: Ne félj, Dániel, mert az első naptól fogva, hogy szívedet a dolgok megértésre adtad, és megaláztad magad Istened előtt, ő meghallgatta szavaidat; és én a te beszédeid miatt jöttem.

És monda nékem: Ne félj Dániel: mert az első naptól fogva, hogy szívedet adtad megértésre és sanyargatásra a te Istened előtt, meghallgattattak a te beszédid, és én a te beszédeid miatt jöttem.

Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.

El mi-a zis: „Daniele, nu te teme de nimic! Căci cuvintele tale au fost ascultate din cea dintâi zi când ţi-ai pus inima ca să înţelegi şi să te smereşti înaintea Dumnezeului tău, şi tocmai din pricina cuvintelor tale vin eu acum!

Then he said to me, “Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words.

De Perzsia fejedelme ellenállt nekem huszonegy napig, és íme, Mihály, egyike a legelőkelőbb fejedelmeknek, segítségemre jött, és ott hagytam őt a perzsa királyoknál.

De Persiának fejedelme ellenem állott huszonegy napig, és ímé Mihály, egyike az előkelő fejedelmeknek, eljöve segítségemre, és én ott maradék a persa királyoknál;

But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

Dar căpetenia împărăţiei Persiei mi-a stat împotrivă douăzeci şi una de zile; însă iată că Mihail, una din căpeteniile cele mai de seamă, mi-a venit în ajutor şi am ieşit biruitor acolo, lângă împăraţii Persiei.

The prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days, but Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I was left there with the kings of Persia,

Azért jöttem tehát, hogy tudtodra adjam, ami az utolsó időkben a te népedre elkövetkezik, mert a látomás azokra a napokra szól.

Jöttem pedig, hogy tudtodra adjam, a mi a te népedre az utolsó időkben következik: mert a látomás azokra a napokra [szól.]

Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.

Acum vin să-ţi fac cunoscut ce are să se întâmple poporului tău în vremurile de apoi, căci vedenia este cu privire tot la acele vremuri îndepărtate.”

and came to make you understand what is to happen to your people in the latter days. For the vision is for days yet to come.”

Amikor ezeket a szavakat mondta nekem, arcom a föld felé fordítottam, és megnémultam.

És mikor ilyen szavakkal szóla velem, orczámmal a földre esém és megnémulék.

And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.

Pe când îmi spunea el aceste lucruri, eu mi-am plecat ochii în pământ şi am tăcut.

When he had spoken to me according to these words, I turned my face toward the ground and was mute.

És íme, az, akinek olyan alakja volt, mint az emberfiának, megérintette az ajkamat. Ekkor kinyitottam a számat, és megszólaltam. Azt mondtam annak, aki előttem állt: Uram, a látomás miatt úgy elfogott a fájdalom, hogy semmi erő sem maradt bennem.

És ímé, olyan valaki, mint egy ember-fia, megilleté ajkaimat és megnyitám a számat és szólék és mondám annak, a ki előttem álla: Uram, a látomás miatt reám fordulának az én fájdalmaim, annyira, hogy semmi erőm nincsen.

And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.

Şi iată că cineva care avea înfăţişarea copiilor oamenilor s-a atins de buzele mele. Eu am deschis gura, am vorbit şi am zis celui ce stătea înaintea mea: „Domnul meu, vedenia aceasta m-a umplut de groază şi am pierdut orice putere!

And behold, one in the likeness of the children of man touched my lips. Then I opened my mouth and spoke. I said to him who stood before me, “O my lord, by reason of the vision pains have come upon me, and I retain no strength.

De hogyan is beszélhetne Uramnak ez a szolgája az én Urammal? Hiszen azóta sincs erőm, és a lélegzetem is elállt.

És mi módon szólhat ezzel az én Urammal ennek az én Uramnak szolgája? Hiszen bennem attól fogva nem álla meg az erő, és lélekzet sem marada bennem.

For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.

Cum ar putea robul domnului meu să vorbească domnului meu? Acum puterile m-au părăsit şi nu mai am nici suflare!”

How can my lord’s servant talk with my lord? For now no strength remains in me, and no breath is left in me.”

Akkor ismét megérintett engem az az emberhez hasonló lény, és megerősített engem.

És ismét illete engem az emberhez hasonló, és megerősíte engem.

Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,

Atunci cel ce avea înfăţişarea unui om m-a atins din nou şi m-a întărit.

Again one having the appearance of a man touched me and strengthened me.

Azt mondta: Ne félj, te kedves férfiú! Békesség neked! Légy bátor és erős! És amint szólt hozzám, megerősödtem, és azt mondtam: Szólj, Uram, mert megerősítettél engem!

És monda: Ne félj, te kedves férfiú; békesség néked, légy erős és bizony erős! És mikor szóla velem, megerősödém, és mondék: Szóljon az én Uram, mert megerősítél engemet.

And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.

Apoi mi-a zis: „Nu te teme de nimic, om preaiubit! Pace ţie! Fii tare şi cu inimă!” Şi pe când îmi vorbea el, am prins iar puteri şi am zis: „Vorbeşte, domnul meu, căci m-ai întărit.”

And he said, “O man greatly loved, fear not, peace be with you; be strong and of good courage.” And as he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, “Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”

Ő azt mondta: Tudod-e, miért jöttem hozzád? Most visszatérek, hogy küzdjek a perzsa fejedelem ellen. És ha végzek, Görögország fejedelme jön!

És monda: Tudod-é, miért jöttem hozzád? És most visszatérek, hogy küzdjek a persa fejedelem ellen; és ha én kimegyek, ímé Görögország fejedelme jő elő!

Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.

El mi-a zis: „Ştii pentru ce am venit la tine? Acum mă întorc să mă lupt împotriva căpeteniei Persiei; şi când voi pleca, iată că va veni căpetenia Greciei!

Then he said, “Do you know why I have come to you? But now I will return to fight against the prince of Persia; and when I go out, behold, the prince of Greece will come.

De megjelentem neked azt, ami föl van jegyezve az igazság könyvében. Senki sincs, aki velem tartana azok ellenében, csak Mihály, a ti fejedelmetek.

De megjelentem néked, a mi fel van jegyezve az igazság írásában; és senki sincsen, a ki én velem tartana ezek ellenében, hanem csak Mihály a ti fejedelmetek.

But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

Dar vreau să-ţi fac cunoscut ce este scris în cartea adevărului. Nimeni nu mă ajută împotriva acestora, afară de voievodul vostru Mihail.”

But I will tell you what is inscribed in the book of truth: there is none who contends by my side against these except Michael, your prince.
