Én, Nebukadneccar, békében éltem házamban és jólétben a palotámban.

Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.

De egy álmot láttam, és az megrettentett engem; ágyamban támadt gondolataim és elmém látomásai megháborítottak engem.

I thought it good to shew the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me.

Am găsit cu cale să fac cunoscut semnele şi minunile pe care le-a făcut Dumnezeul cel Preaînalt faţă de mine.

It has seemed good to me to show the signs and wonders that the Most High God has done for me.

Ezért parancsot adtam, hogy hozzák elém Babilón összes bölcsét, hogy az álom jelentését mondják meg nekem.

És parancsolatot adék, hogy hozzák előmbe Babilonnak minden bölcsét, hogy az álom jelentését tudassák velem.

How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.

Cât de mari sunt semnele Lui şi cât de puternice sunt minunile Lui! Împărăţia Lui este o împărăţie veşnică, şi stăpânirea Lui dăinuie din neam în neam!

How great are his signs, how mighty his wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion endures from generation to generation.

I Nebuchadnezzar was at rest in mine house, and flourishing in my palace:

I, Nebuchadnezzar, was at ease in my house and prospering in my palace.

I saw a dream which made me afraid, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me.

I saw a dream that made me afraid. As I lay in bed the fancies and the visions of my head alarmed me.

Baltazár, te, az írástudók feje! Tudom, hogy a szent istenek lelke van benned, és semmi titok nem marad rejtve előtted! Mondd el álmombeli látomásaimat, amelyeket láttam, és azok jelentését!

Baltazár, az írástudók elseje, tudom, hogy a szent isteneknek lelke van benned, és semmi titok sem homályos előtted, az én álmom látásait, a miket láttam, és azoknak jelentését beszéld el.

Therefore made I a decree to bring in all the wise men of Babylon before me, that they might make known unto me the interpretation of the dream.

So I made a decree that all the wise men of Babylon should be brought before me, that they might make known to me the interpretation of the dream.

Elmém látomásai az én ágyamban ezek voltak: Láttam, hogy íme, egy fa áll a föld közepén, amely rendkívül magas.

Then came in the magicians, the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers: and I told the dream before them; but they did not make known unto me the interpretation thereof.

Îndată au venit vrăjitorii, cititorii în stele, haldeii şi ghicitorii. Le-am spus visul, şi nu mi l-au putut tâlcui.

Then the magicians, the enchanters, the Chaldeans, and the astrologers came in, and I told them the dream, but they could not make known to me its interpretation.

But at the last Daniel came in before me, whose name was Belteshazzar, according to the name of my God, and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods: and before him I told the dream, saying,

At last Daniel came in before me—he who was named Belteshazzar after the name of my god, and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods—and I told him the dream, saying,

Levelei szépek voltak, gyümölcse sok, és mindenki számára volt rajta táplálék. Alatta árnyékot talált a mező vadja, ágain égi madarak lakoztak, és róla evett minden élőlény.

O Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in thee, and no secret troubleth thee, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and the interpretation thereof.

„Beltşaţare, căpetenia vrăjitorilor, ştiu că ai în tine duhul dumnezeilor sfinţi şi că pentru tine nicio taină nu este grea; deci tâlcuieşte-mi vedeniile pe care le-am avut în vis.

“O Belteshazzar, chief of the magicians, because I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in you and that no mystery is too difficult for you, tell me the visions of my dream that I saw and their interpretation.

Majd láttam az ágyamban, elmém látomásaiban, hogy íme, egy Őr, egy Szent szállt alá az égből.

Látám fejem látásaiban az én ágyamban, és ímé: egy Vigyázó és Szent szálla alá az égből;

Thus were the visions of mine head in my bed; I saw, and behold a tree in the midst of the earth, and the height thereof was great.

Iată vedeniile care mi-au trecut prin cap când eram în pat. Mă uitam şi iată că în mijlocul pământului era un copac foarte înalt.

The visions of my head as I lay in bed were these: I saw, and behold, a tree in the midst of the earth, and its height was great.

Hangosan kiáltott, és így szólt: Vágjátok ki a fát, és vagdaljátok le az ágait, rázzátok le leveleit, és hányjátok szét gyümölcseit! Meneküljenek el alóla a vadak és ágairól a madarak.

Erősen kiálta, és így szóla: Vágjátok ki a fát és vagdaljátok le az ágait, rázzátok le leveleit és hányjátok szét gyümölcseit, fussanak el a vadak alóla, és a madarak az ő ágairól.

The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the end of all the earth:

The tree grew and became strong, and its top reached to heaven, and it was visible to the end of the whole earth.

De gyökereinek törzsökét hagyjátok meg a földben, vas- és rézbilincsbe verve a mező füvén. Égi harmat öntözze, és az állatokkal együtt a föld füve legyen az osztályrésze.

De gyökerének törzsökét hagyjátok meg a földben, és vas és ércz lánczokba [verve] a mező füvén; égi harmattal öntöztessék, és a barmokkal legyen része a föld füvében.

The leaves thereof were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it.

Frunza lui era frumoasă şi avea roade multe; în el se găsea hrană pentru toţi; fiarele câmpului se adăposteau sub umbra lui, păsările cerului îşi făceau cuibul în ramurile lui şi orice făptură vie se hrănea din el.

Its leaves were beautiful and its fruit abundant, and in it was food for all. The beasts of the field found shade under it, and the birds of the heavens lived in its branches, and all flesh was fed from it.

Emberi értelme változzék el, állati értelmet kapjon, és hét idő múljék el fölötte.

Az ő emberi szíve változzék el, és baromnak szíve adassék néki, és hét idő múljék el felette.

I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven;

În vedeniile care-mi treceau prin cap în patul meu, mă uitam şi iată că s-a coborât din ceruri un străjer sfânt.

“I saw in the visions of my head as I lay in bed, and behold, a watcher, a holy one, came down from heaven.

Az Őrök határozata ez a rendelet, és a Szentek parancsa ez a végzés, hogy megtudják az élők, hogy a Felséges uralkodik az emberek birodalmán, és annak adja azt, akinek akarja, és a legalacsonyabb embert is fölemelheti.

He cried aloud, and said thus, Hew down the tree, and cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his branches:

He proclaimed aloud and said thus: ‘Chop down the tree and lop off its branches, strip off its leaves and scatter its fruit. Let the beasts flee from under it and the birds from its branches.

Ezt az álmot láttam én, Nebukadneccar király, és te, Baltazár, mondd meg a jelentését, mivel birodalmam egyetlen bölcse sem tudta nekem megmondani az álom jelentését. De te tudod, mert a szent istenek lelke van benned.

Ezt az álmot láttam én, Nabukodonozor király, és te, Baltazár, mondd meg annak értelmét; mivelhogy az én országomnak egyetlen bölcse sem tudta nékem megmondani a jelentését; de te tudod, mert szent isteneknek lelke van benned.

Nevertheless leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth:

Dar trunchiul cu rădăcinile lui lăsaţi-l în pământ şi legaţi-l cu lanţuri de fier şi de aramă în iarba de pe câmp, ca să fie udat de roua cerului şi să fie la un loc cu fiarele în iarba pământului.

But leave the stump of its roots in the earth, bound with a band of iron and bronze, amid the tender grass of the field. Let him be wet with the dew of heaven. Let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth.

Ekkor Dániel, akinek Baltazár a neve, közel egy óráig rémüldözött, és gondolatai megháborították őt. Ekkor így szólt a király: Baltazár, az álom és annak jelentése ne háborítson meg téged! Baltazár így felelt: Uram, szóljon az álom a gyűlölőidről, annak értelme pedig az ellenségeidről!

Ekkor Dániel, a kinek neve Baltazár, közel egy óráig rémüldözék, és az ő gondolatai háboríták őt. Szóla a király, és monda: Baltazár, az álom és annak jelentése meg ne rettentsenek téged! Felele Baltazár, és monda: Uram, az álom [szálljon] a te gyűlölőidre, a magyarázata pedig a te ellenségeidre!

Let his heart be changed from man's, and let a beast's heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him.

Inima lui de om i se va preface într-o inimă de fiară şi vor trece şapte vremuri peste el.

Let his mind be changed from a man’s, and let a beast’s mind be given to him; and let seven periods of time pass over him.

A fa, amelyet láttál, amely nagy és erős volt, és amelynek magassága az égig ért, és ellátszott egészen a föld széléig;

A fa, a melyet láttál, a mely nagy és erős volt, és a melynek magassága az eget érte és ellátszék az egész földre;

This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

Hotărârea aceasta a fost luată în sfatul străjerilor şi pusă la cale înaintea sfinţilor, ca să ştie cei vii că Cel Preaînalt stăpâneşte peste împărăţia oamenilor, că o dă cui Îi place şi înalţă pe ea pe cel mai de jos dintre oameni!”

The sentence is by the decree of the watchers, the decision by the word of the holy ones, to the end that the living may know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will and sets over it the lowliest of men.’

This dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. Now thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known unto me the interpretation: but thou art able; for the spirit of the holy gods is in thee.

Iată visul pe care l-am visat eu, împăratul Nebucadneţar. Tu, Beltşaţar, tâlcuieşte-l, fiindcă toţi înţelepţii din împărăţia mea nu pot să mi-l tâlcuiască; tu însă poţi, căci ai în tine duhul dumnezeilor sfinţi.”

This dream I, King Nebuchadnezzar, saw. And you, O Belteshazzar, tell me the interpretation, because all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known to me the interpretation, but you are able, for the spirit of the holy gods is in you.”

Te vagy az, ó, király, aki naggyá és erőssé lettél, akinek nagysága megnövekedett, és fölér az égig, és hatalmad elér a föld végéig.

Te vagy az, oh király, a ki nagygyá és erőssé lettél, a kinek nagysága megnövekedék és fölér az égig, és hatalmad a föld végéig.

Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was astonied for one hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spake, and said, Belteshazzar, let not the dream, or the interpretation thereof, trouble thee. Belteshazzar answered and said, My lord, the dream be to them that hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to thine enemies.

Atunci Daniel, numit Beltşaţar, a rămas uimit o clipă, şi gândurile lui îl tulburau. Împăratul a luat din nou cuvântul şi a zis: „Beltşaţare, să nu te tulbure visul şi tâlcuirea!” Şi Beltşaţar a răspuns: „Domnul meu, visul acesta să fie pentru vrăjmaşii tăi, şi tâlcuirea lui, pentru potrivnicii tăi!

Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was dismayed for a while, and his thoughts alarmed him. The king answered and said, “Belteshazzar, let not the dream or the interpretation alarm you.” Belteshazzar answered and said, “My lord, may the dream be for those who hate you and its interpretation for your enemies!

Hogy pedig a király az Őrt és a Szentet látta leszállni az égből, aki azt mondta: „Vágjátok ki a fát, és pusztítsátok el, de gyökereinek törzsökét hagyjátok a földben vas- és rézbilincsekbe verve a mező füvén, és égi harmat öntözze, és a mezei állatok között legyen osztályrésze, amíg csak a hét idő el nem múlik fölötte”,

Hogy pedig láta a király Vigyázót és Szentet leszállani az égből, és azt mondá: Vágjátok le a fát és pusztítsátok el azt; de gyökereinek törzsökét a földben hagyjátok, és vas és ércz lánczokba [verve] a mező füvén, és égi harmattal öntöztessék és a mezei barmokkal legyen része, a míg hét idő múlik el felette;

The tree that thou sawest, which grew, and was strong, whose height reached unto the heaven, and the sight thereof to all the earth;

Copacul pe care l-ai văzut, care se făcuse atât de mare şi puternic, încât i se înălţa vârful până la ceruri şi se vedea de la toate capetele pământului;

The tree you saw, which grew and became strong, so that its top reached to heaven, and it was visible to the end of the whole earth,

annak ez az értelme, ó, király, és a Felséges végzése ez, amely bekövetkezik uramra, a királyra:

Ez a jelentése, oh király, és a felséges Isten végezése ez, a mely bekövetkezik az én uramra, a királyra,

Whose leaves were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all; under which the beasts of the field dwelt, and upon whose branches the fowls of the heaven had their habitation:

copacul acesta a cărui frunză era aşa de frumoasă şi care avea roade atât de multe, şi în care era hrană pentru toţi, sub care se adăposteau fiarele câmpului şi în ramurile căruia îşi făceau cuibul păsările cerului,

kivetnek téged az emberek közül, és a mezei állatokkal fogsz lakni, és füvet adnak enni neked, mint az ökröknek, és égi harmat öntöz téged, és hét idő múlik el fölötted, míg meg nem érted, hogy a Felséges uralkodik az emberek birodalmán, és annak adja azt, akinek akarja.

És kivetnek téged az emberek közül, és a mezei barmokkal lesz a te lakozásod, és füvet adnak enned, mint az ökröknek, és égi harmattal öntöznek téged, és hét idő múlik el feletted, mígnem megérted, hogy a felséges [Isten] uralkodik az emberek birodalmán, és annak adja azt, a kinek akarja.

It is thou, O king, that art grown and become strong: for thy greatness is grown, and reacheth unto heaven, and thy dominion to the end of the earth.

eşti tu, împărate, care ai ajuns mare şi puternic, a cărui mărime a crescut şi s-a înălţat până la ceruri şi a cărui stăpânire se întinde până la marginile pământului.

it is you, O king, who have grown and become strong. Your greatness has grown and reaches to heaven, and your dominion to the ends of the earth.

Annak pedig, hogy azt mondták, hogy a fa gyökereinek törzsökét hagyják meg, ez a jelentése: visszakapod birodamadat, mihelyt elismered, hogy az Ég uralkodik.

Hogy pedig mondák, hogy a fa gyökereinek törzsökét hagyják meg: országod megmarad néked, mihelyest megismered, hogy az Ég uralkodik.

And whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy one coming down from heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him;

Împăratul a văzut pe un străjer sfânt coborându-se şi zicând: „Tăiaţi copacul şi nimiciţi-l; dar trunchiul cu rădăcinile lui lăsaţi-l în pământ şi legaţi-l cu lanţuri de fier şi de aramă în iarba de pe câmp, ca să fie udat de roua cerului şi să stea la un loc cu fiarele câmpului, până vor trece şapte vremuri peste el.”

And because the king saw a watcher, a holy one, coming down from heaven and saying, ‘Chop down the tree and destroy it, but leave the stump of its roots in the earth, bound with a band of iron and bronze, in the tender grass of the field, and let him be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the field, till seven periods of time pass over him,’

Azért, ó, király, fogadd el tanácsomat, és szabadulj meg vétkeidtől igazság által és hamisságaidtól a szegényekhez való irgalmasság által. Így talán tartós lesz a békességed.

Azért, oh király, az én tanácsom tessék néked, és vétkeidtől igazság által szabadulj és a te hamisságaidtól a szegényekhez való irgalmasság által. Így talán tartós lesz a békességed.

This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the most High, which is come upon my lord the king:

Iată tâlcuirea acestui fapt, împărate, iată hotărârea Celui Preaînalt care se va împlini asupra domnului meu, împăratul.

this is the interpretation, O king: It is a decree of the Most High, which has come upon my lord the king,

Mindez beteljesedett Nebukadneccar királyon.

Mindez betelék Nabukodonozor királyon.

That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

Te vor izgoni din mijlocul oamenilor, vei locui la un loc cu fiarele câmpului şi îţi vor da să mănânci iarbă ca la boi; vei fi udat de roua cerului şi şapte vremuri vor trece peste tine, până vei cunoaşte că Cel Preaînalt stăpâneşte peste împărăţia oamenilor şi o dă cui vrea.

that you shall be driven from among men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. You shall be made to eat grass like an ox, and you shall be wet with the dew of heaven, and seven periods of time shall pass over you, till you know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will.

Tizenkét hónap múlva, amikor a babilóni királyi palota tetején sétált,

And whereas they commanded to leave the stump of the tree roots; thy kingdom shall be sure unto thee, after that thou shalt have known that the heavens do rule.

Porunca, să lase trunchiul cu rădăcinile copacului, înseamnă că împărăţia ta îţi va rămâne ţie îndată ce vei recunoaşte stăpânirea Celui ce este în ceruri.

And as it was commanded to leave the stump of the roots of the tree, your kingdom shall be confirmed for you from the time that you know that Heaven rules.

így szólt a király: Nemde ez az a nagy Babilón, amelyet én építettem ki királyi székhelyül hatalmam ereje által, fenségem dicsőítésére?

Szóla a király és mondá: Nem ez-é ama nagy Babilon, a melyet én építettem királyság házának, az én hatalmasságom ereje által és dicsőségem tisztességére?

Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.

De aceea, împărate, placă-ţi sfatul meu! Pune capăt păcatelor tale şi trăieşte în neprihănire, rupe-o cu nelegiuirile tale şi ai milă de cei nenorociţi, şi poate că ţi se va prelungi fericirea!”

Therefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable to you: break off your sins by practicing righteousness, and your iniquities by showing mercy to the oppressed, that there may perhaps be a lengthening of your prosperity.”

Még a szó a király szájában volt, amikor szózat szállt le az égből: „Neked szól ez, ó, Nebukadneccar király: a birodalom elvétetett tőled!

All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar.

Toate aceste lucruri s-au împlinit asupra împăratului Nebucadneţar.

All this came upon King Nebuchadnezzar.

Kivetnek téged az emberek közül, és a mezei állatok közt fogsz lakni, és füvet adnak enni neked, mint az ökröknek, és hét idő múlik el fölötted, amíg föl nem ismered, hogy a Felséges uralkodik az emberek birodalmán, és annak adja azt, akinek akarja.”

És kivetnek téged az emberek közül, és a mezei barmokkal lesz a lakozásod, [és] füvet adnak enned, mint az ökröknek, és hét idő múlik el feletted, a míg megesméred, hogy a felséges [Isten] uralkodik az emberek birodalmán, és annak adja azt, a kinek akarja.

At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon.

După douăsprezece luni, pe când se plimba pe acoperişul palatului împărătesc din Babilon,

At the end of twelve months he was walking on the roof of the royal palace of Babylon,

Azon nyomban betelt a beszéd Nebukadneccaron: kivetették az emberek közül, és füvet evett, mint az ökrök, és égi harmat öntözte testét, míg végül a szőre úgy megnőtt, mint a sas tolla, és a körmei úgy megnyúltak, mint a madarak karmai.

The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?

împăratul a luat cuvântul şi a zis: „Oare nu este acesta Babilonul cel mare pe care mi l-am zidit eu ca loc de şedere împărătească, prin puterea bogăţiei mele şi spre slava măreţiei mele?”

and the king answered and said, “Is not this great Babylon, which I have built by my mighty power as a royal residence and for the glory of my majesty?”

Amikor eltelt ez az idő, én, Nebukadneccar, az égre emeltem szememet, és értelmem visszatért. Áldottam a Felségest, dicsértem és dicsőítettem az örökké Élőt, akinek hatalma örökkévaló hatalom, és országa megmarad nemzedékről nemzedékre.

While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee.

Nu se sfârşise încă vorba aceasta a împăratului, şi un glas s-a coborât din cer şi a zis: „Află, împărate Nebucadneţar, că ţi s-a luat împărăţia!

While the words were still in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, “O King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: The kingdom has departed from you,

A föld összes lakója olyan, mint a semmi; akarata szerint cselekszik az ég seregével és a föld lakóival. Nincs, aki lefoghatná kezét, és azt mondhatná neki: Mit cselekedtél?

És a föld minden lakosa olyan mint a semmi; és az ő akaratja szerint cselekszik az ég seregében és a föld lakosai között, és nincs, a ki az ő kezét megfoghatná és ezt mondaná néki: Mit cselekedtél?

And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

Te vor izgoni din mijlocul oamenilor, şi vei locui la un loc cu fiarele câmpului, îţi vor da să mănânci iarbă ca la boi, şi vor trece peste tine şapte vremuri, până vei recunoaşte că Cel Preaînalt stăpâneşte peste împărăţia oamenilor şi că o dă cui vrea!”

and you shall be driven from among men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. And you shall be made to eat grass like an ox, and seven periods of time shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will.”

Abban az időben visszatért az értelmem, és királyságom dicsőségére az én tisztességem és méltóságom is visszatért hozzám. Tanácsosaim és főembereim fölkerestek, visszahelyeztek királyságomba, és még nagyobb hatalmat nyertem.

The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws.

Chiar în clipa aceea s-a împlinit cuvântul acela asupra lui Nebucadneţar. A fost izgonit din mijlocul oamenilor, a mâncat iarbă ca boii, trupul i-a fost udat de roua cerului, până i-a crescut părul ca penele vulturului şi unghiile, ca ghearele păsărilor.

Immediately the word was fulfilled against Nebuchadnezzar. He was driven from among men and ate grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair grew as long as eagles’ feathers, and his nails were like birds’ claws.

Most azért én, Nebukadneccar, dicsérem, magasztalom és dicsőítem az ég Királyát, mert minden cselekedete igaz, útjai igazságosak, és meg tudja alázni azokat, akik kevélységben járnak.

Most [azért] én, Nabukodonozor, dicsérem, magasztalom és dicsőítem a mennyei királyt: mert minden cselekedete igazság, és az ő utai ítélet, és azokat, a kik kevélységben járnak, megalázhatja.

And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:

După trecerea vremii sorocite, eu, Nebucadneţar, am ridicat ochii spre cer şi mi-a venit iarăşi mintea la loc. Am binecuvântat pe Cel Preaînalt, am lăudat şi slăvit pe Cel ce trăieşte veşnic, Acela a cărui stăpânire este veşnică şi a cărui Împărăţie dăinuie din neam în neam.

At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored him who lives forever, for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom endures from generation to generation;

And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

Toţi locuitorii pământului sunt o nimica înaintea Lui; El face ce vrea cu oastea cerurilor şi cu locuitorii pământului, şi nimeni nu poate să stea împotriva mâniei Lui, nici să-I zică: „Ce faci?”

At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me.

În vremea aceea mi-a venit mintea înapoi; slava împărăţiei mele, măreţia şi strălucirea mea mi s-au dat înapoi; sfetnicii şi mai marii mei din nou m-au căutat; am fost pus iarăşi peste împărăţia mea, şi puterea mea a crescut.

Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.

Acum, eu, Nebucadneţar, laud, înalţ şi slăvesc pe Împăratul cerurilor, căci toate lucrările Lui sunt adevărate, toate căile Lui sunt drepte, şi El poate să smerească pe cei ce umblă cu mândrie!”
