Történt, hogy harmadnapon Eszter felöltözött királynői ruhájába, és megállt a király palotájának belső udvarában, a király palotájával szemben. A király pedig trónján ült a királyi palotában, a ház ajtajával szemben.

Történt pedig harmadnapon, hogy Eszter felöltözött királyiasan, és megállt a király házának belső udvarában, a király háza ellenében, és a király üle királyiszékében, a királyi házban, a ház ajtajának átellenében.

Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king's house, over against the king's house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house.

A treia zi, Estera s-a îmbrăcat cu hainele împărăteşti şi a venit în curtea dinăuntru a casei împăratului, înaintea casei împăratului. Împăratul şedea pe scaunul lui împărătesc în casa împărătească, în faţa uşii casei.

On the third day Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the king’s palace, in front of the king’s quarters, while the king was sitting on his royal throne inside the throne room opposite the entrance to the palace.

Amint meglátta a király, hogy Eszter királyné az udvarban áll, kegyelmet talált előtte, ezért a király kinyújtotta Eszter felé az aranypálcát, amely a kezében volt. Akkor odament Eszter, és megérintette az aranypálca végét.

És lőn, a mint meglátá a király Eszter királynét, hogy áll az udvarban, kegyet talála szemei előtt, és kinyujtá a király Eszterre az arany pálczát, a mely kezében vala, akkor oda méne Eszter, és megilleté az arany pálcza végét.

And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.

Când a văzut împăratul pe împărăteasa Estera în picioare în curte, ea a căpătat trecere înaintea lui. Şi împăratul a întins Esterei toiagul împărătesc pe care-l ţinea în mână. Estera s-a apropiat şi a atins vârful toiagului.

And when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, she won favor in his sight, and he held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand. Then Esther approached and touched the tip of the scepter.

A király ezt kérdezte tőle: Mit óhajtasz, Eszter királyné? Mi a kérésed? Ha az ország felét kéred is, megadatik neked.

És monda néki a király: Mi [kell] néked Eszter királyné? És mi a kérésed? Ha az ország fele is, megadatik néked.

Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.

Împăratul i-a zis: „Ce ai tu, împărăteasă Estero, şi ce ceri? Chiar dacă ai cere jumătate din împărăţie, îţi voi da.”

And the king said to her, “What is it, Queen Esther? What is your request? It shall be given you, even to the half of my kingdom.”

Eszter így felelt: Ha a király jónak látja, jöjjön el a király Hámánnal együtt ma arra a lakomára, amelyet készítettem.

És felele Eszter: Ha a királynak tetszik, jőjjön a király és Hámán ma a lakomára, melyet néki készítettem.

And Esther answered, If it seem good unto the king, let the king and Haman come this day unto the banquet that I have prepared for him.

Estera a răspuns: „Dacă împăratul găseşte cu cale, să vină împăratul astăzi cu Haman la ospăţul pe care i l-am pregătit.”

And Esther said, “If it please the king, let the king and Haman come today to a feast that I have prepared for the king.”

A király azt mondta: Gyorsan elő Hámánnal, hogy teljesítse Eszter kívánságát. A király és Hámán tehát elment a lakomára, amelyet Eszter készített.

És monda a király: Gyorsan elő Hámánt, hogy teljesítse Eszter kívánságát. És elment a király és Hámán a lakomára, a melyet Eszter készített vala.

Then the king said, Cause Haman to make haste, that he may do as Esther hath said. So the king and Haman came to the banquet that Esther had prepared.

Şi împăratul a zis: „Duceţi-vă îndată şi aduceţi pe Haman, cum doreşte Estera.” Împăratul s-a dus cu Haman la ospăţul pe care-l pregătise Estera.

Then the king said, “Bring Haman quickly, so that we may do as Esther has asked.” So the king and Haman came to the feast that Esther had prepared.

A király megkérdezte Esztert borivás közben: Mi a kívánságod? Megadatik neked. És mi a kérésed? Ha az ország fele is, meglesz!

Monda pedig a király Eszternek borivás közben: Mi a te kivánságod? Megadatik néked. És mi a te kérésed? Ha az ország fele is, meglészen!

And the king said unto Esther at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed.

Şi pe când beau vin, împăratul a zis Esterei: „Care este cererea ta? Ea îţi va fi împlinită. Ce doreşti? Chiar dacă ai cere jumătate din împărăţie, o vei căpăta.”

And as they were drinking wine after the feast, the king said to Esther, “What is your wish? It shall be granted you. And what is your request? Even to the half of my kingdom, it shall be fulfilled.”

Eszter így felelt: Az én kívánságom és kérésem ez:

És felele Eszter, és monda: Az én kivánságom és kérésem ez:

Then answered Esther, and said, My petition and my request is;

Estera a răspuns: „Iată ce cer şi ce doresc.

Then Esther answered, “My wish and my request is:

ha kegyelmet találtam a király szeme előtt, és ha a király jónak látja, hogy teljesítse kívánságomat, és megadja kérésemet, jöjjön el a király Hámánnal arra a lakomára, amelyet készítek, és holnap válaszolok a király szavaira.

Ha kegyet találtam a király szemei előtt, és ha a királynak tetszik megadni kivánságomat és teljesíteni kérésemet: jőjjön el a király és Hámán a lakomára, a melyet készítek nékik, és holnap a király beszéde szerint cselekszem.

If I have found favour in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my petition, and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I shall prepare for them, and I will do to morrow as the king hath said.

Dacă am căpătat trecere înaintea împăratului şi dacă găseşte cu cale împăratul să-mi îndeplinească cererea şi să-mi facă dorinţa, să mai vină împăratul cu Haman şi la ospăţul pe care li-l voi pregăti, şi mâine voi da răspuns împăratului după porunca lui.”

If I have found favor in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my wish and fulfill my request, let the king and Haman come to the feast that I will prepare for them, and tomorrow I will do as the king has said.”

Hámán azon a napon vígan és jókedvűen távozott onnan. De amint meglátta Mordokajt a király kapujában, és az nem kelt föl, és nem rettent meg tőle, Hámán eltelt haraggal Mordokaj miatt.

És kiment Hámán azon a napon vígan és jó kedvvel. De a mint meglátá Hámán Márdokeust a király kapujában, és ez fel nem kelt és nem mozdult meg előtte, megtelék Hámán haraggal Márdokeus ellen.

Then went Haman forth that day joyful and with a glad heart: but when Haman saw Mordecai in the king's gate, that he stood not up, nor moved for him, he was full of indignation against Mordecai.

Haman a ieşit în ziua aceea vesel şi cu inima mulţumită. Dar, când a văzut la poarta împăratului pe Mardoheu, care nu se scula, nici nu se mişca înaintea lui, s-a umplut de mânie împotriva lui Mardoheu.

And Haman went out that day joyful and glad of heart. But when Haman saw Mordecai in the king’s gate, that he neither rose nor trembled before him, he was filled with wrath against Mordecai.

Hámán azonban megtartóztatta magát, és hazament, üzent, és magához hívatta barátait meg a feleségét, Zerest.

De megtartóztatá magát Hámán, és haza ment, és elküldvén, magához hivatá barátait és Zérest, az ő feleségét.

Nevertheless Haman refrained himself: and when he came home, he sent and called for his friends, and Zeresh his wife.

A ştiut totuşi să se stăpânească şi s-a dus acasă. Apoi a trimis să aducă pe prietenii săi şi pe nevasta sa, Zereş.

Nevertheless, Haman restrained himself and went home, and he sent and brought his friends and his wife Zeresh.

És elbeszélte nekik gazdagságának dicsőségét, fiainak sokaságát és mindazt, amivel kitüntette őt a király, továbbá hogy följebb emelte őt a fejedelmeknél és a király szolgáinál.

És elbeszélé nékik Hámán gazdagságának dicsőségét, fiainak sokaságát és mindazt, a mivel felmagasztalta őt a király, és hogy feljebb emelte őt a fejedelmeknél és a király szolgáinál;

And Haman told them of the glory of his riches, and the multitude of his children, and all the things wherein the king had promoted him, and how he had advanced him above the princes and servants of the king.

Haman le-a vorbit despre strălucirea bogăţiilor lui, despre numărul fiilor săi, despre tot ce făcuse împăratul ca să-l ridice în vrednicie şi despre locul pe care i-l dăduse mai presus de căpeteniile şi slujitorii împăratului.

And Haman recounted to them the splendor of his riches, the number of his sons, all the promotions with which the king had honored him, and how he had advanced him above the officials and the servants of the king.

Majd azt mondta Hámán: Nem is hívott Eszter királyné mást a királlyal együtt a lakomára, amelyet készített, hanem csak engem, és még holnapra is meghívott a királlyal együtt.

És monda Hámán: Nem is hívott Eszter királyné mást a királylyal a lakomára, a melyet készített, hanem csak engem, és még holnapra is meghivattattam hozzá a királylyal.

Haman said moreover, Yea, Esther the queen did let no man come in with the king unto the banquet that she had prepared but myself; and to morrow am I invited unto her also with the king.

Şi a adăugat: „Eu sunt chiar singurul pe care împărăteasa Estera l-a primit împreună cu împăratul la ospăţul pe care l-a făcut, şi sunt poftit şi pe mâine la ea cu împăratul.

Then Haman said, “Even Queen Esther let no one but me come with the king to the feast she prepared. And tomorrow also I am invited by her together with the king.

De mindez semmit sem ér nekem, amíg látom, hogy a zsidó Mordokaj a király kapujában ül.

De mindez semmit sem ér nékem, valamíg látom a zsidó Márdokeust ülni a király kapujában.

Yet all this availeth me nothing, so long as I see Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king's gate.

Dar toate acestea n-au niciun preţ pentru mine câtă vreme voi vedea pe Mardoheu, iudeul acela, şezând la poarta împăratului.”

Yet all this is worth nothing to me, so long as I see Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king’s gate.”

Erre ezt mondta neki a felesége, Zeres és minden barátja: Csináltatni kell egy ötven könyök magas fát, reggel pedig mondd meg a királynak, hogy akasszák föl rá Mordokajt! Akkor vígan mehetsz a lakomára a királlyal. Tetszett ez a dolog Hámánnak, és megcsináltatta a fát.

És monda néki Zéres, az ő felesége és minden barátja: Csináljanak ötven könyöknyi magas fát, és reggel mondd meg a királynak, hogy Márdokeust akaszszák reá, és akkor menj a királylyal a lakomára vígan. És tetszett a dolog Hámánnak, és megcsináltatta a fát.

Then said Zeresh his wife and all his friends unto him, Let a gallows be made of fifty cubits high, and to morrow speak thou unto the king that Mordecai may be hanged thereon: then go thou in merrily with the king unto the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made.

Nevasta sa, Zereş, şi toţi prietenii lui i-au zis: „Să se pregătească o spânzurătoare înaltă de cincizeci de coţi, şi mâine dimineaţă cere împăratului ca Mardoheu să fie spânzurat. Apoi vei merge vesel la ospăţ cu împăratul.” Părerea aceasta a plăcut lui Haman şi a pus să pregătească spânzurătoarea.

Then his wife Zeresh and all his friends said to him, “Let a gallows fifty cubits high be made, and in the morning tell the king to have Mordecai hanged upon it. Then go joyfully with the king to the feast.” This idea pleased Haman, and he had the gallows made.
