Ne örvendezz, Izráel, oly vígan, mint a népek, mert paráználkodásoddal elszakadtál Istenedtől, és szereted a paráznaság bérét minden gabonaszérűn.

Rejoice not, O Israel, for joy, as other people: for thou hast gone a whoring from thy God, thou hast loved a reward upon every cornfloor.

Nu te bucura, Israele, nu te înveseli ca popoarele, pentru că ai curvit părăsind pe Domnul, pentru că ai iubit o plată necurată în toate ariile cu grâu!

Rejoice not, O Israel! Exult not like the peoples; for you have played the whore, forsaking your God. You have loved a prostitute’s wages on all threshing floors.

De a szérű és a sajtó nem tartja el őket, hiányozni fog belőle a must.

The floor and the winepress shall not feed them, and the new wine shall fail in her.

Aria şi teascul nu-i vor hrăni, şi mustul le va lipsi.

Threshing floor and wine vat shall not feed them, and the new wine shall fail them.

Nem maradnak az ÚR földjén, hanem Efraim visszatér Egyiptomba, és Asszíriában tisztátalant esznek.

Nem maradnak az Úr földén, hanem Égyiptomba tér vissza Efraim; Assiriában tisztátalant esznek.

They shall not dwell in the LORD's land; but Ephraim shall return to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean things in Assyria.

Nu vor rămâne în ţara Domnului; ci Efraim se va întoarce în Egipt şi vor mânca în Asiria mâncăruri necurate.

They shall not remain in the land of the LORD, but Ephraim shall return to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean food in Assyria.

Nem áldoznak az ÚRnak borral, és nem lesznek kedvesek előtte áldozataik. Az olyan lesz, mint a gyászolók kenyere: akik esznek belőle, mindnyájan tisztátalanok lesznek, mert kenyerük csak étvágyuknak szolgál, nem juthat be az ÚR házába.

Nem áldoznak az Úrnak borral; és nem lesznek kedvesek előtte. Áldozataik olyanok lesznek, mint a gyásztornak kenyere; mindnyájan, a kik abból esznek, megfertéztetnek, mert kenyerök [csak] étvágyuknak szolgál; nem jut be az Úr házába.

They shall not offer wine offerings to the LORD, neither shall they be pleasing unto him: their sacrifices shall be unto them as the bread of mourners; all that eat thereof shall be polluted: for their bread for their soul shall not come into the house of the LORD.

Nu vor aduce Domnului vin ca jertfă de băutură: căci nu-I vor fi plăcute. Pâinea lor le va fi ca o pâine de jale; toţi cei ce vor mânca din ea se vor face necuraţi; căci pâinea lor va fi numai pentru ei, nu va intra în Casa Domnului!

They shall not pour drink offerings of wine to the LORD, and their sacrifices shall not please him. It shall be like mourners’ bread to them; all who eat of it shall be defiled; for their bread shall be for their hunger only; it shall not come to the house of the LORD.

Mit csináltok majd az ünnepnapon, az ÚR ünnepnapján?

Mit cselekesztek majd az ünnepnek napján, az Úr ünnepnapján?

What will ye do in the solemn day, and in the day of the feast of the LORD?

Ce veţi face în zilele de praznic, la sărbătorile Domnului?

What will you do on the day of the appointed festival, and on the day of the feast of the LORD?

Mert íme, elbujdosnak a pusztulás miatt, de Egyiptom gyűjti össze, Memfisz temeti el őket. Ezüstkincsüket a csalán veszi birtokba, és tövis nő sátraikban.

Mert ímé elbujdosnak a pusztulás miatt; Égyiptom gyűjti be, Móf temeti el őket. Ezüst kincsöket a csalán örökli; tövis lesz sátoraikban.

For, lo, they are gone because of destruction: Egypt shall gather them up, Memphis shall bury them: the pleasant places for their silver, nettles shall possess them: thorns shall be in their tabernacles.

Căci iată că ei pleacă din pricina pustiirii; Egiptul îi va aduna, Moful le va da morminte; ce au mai scump, argintul lor, va fi prada mărăcinilor şi vor creşte spini în corturile lor.

For behold, they are going away from destruction; but Egypt shall gather them; Memphis shall bury them. Nettles shall possess their precious things of silver; thorns shall be in their tents.

Elérkeznek a számadás napjai, elérkeznek a megtorlás napjai! Majd megtudja Izráel, hogy bolond-e a próféta, őrült-e a lélek embere! Vétked sokasága miatt, és mert olyan hatalmas a gyűlölet.

Elérkeztek a számadásnak napjai; elérkeztek a megtorlásnak napjai; megtudja majd Izráel! Bolond a próféta, őrült a léleknek embere a te vétked sokasága miatt és mert akkora a gyűlölség.

The days of visitation are come, the days of recompence are come; Israel shall know it: the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is mad, for the multitude of thine iniquity, and the great hatred.

Vin zilele pedepsei, vin zilele răsplătirii: Israel va vedea singur dacă prorocul este nebun sau dacă omul insuflat aiurează. Şi aceasta din pricina mărimii nelegiuirilor şi răzvrătirilor tale.

The days of punishment have come; the days of recompense have come; Israel shall know it. The prophet is a fool; the man of the spirit is mad, because of your great iniquity and great hatred.

A próféta Istenem mellett őrálló Efraimban, de csapdát állítottak minden útjára, gyűlölet van Istene házában.

Efraim szétnéz az én Istenem mellett. A prófétának minden útaira háló vettetett; gyűlölség van Istenének házában.

The watchman of Ephraim was with my God: but the prophet is a snare of a fowler in all his ways, and hatred in the house of his God.

Efraim stă la pândă împotriva Dumnezeului meu, prorocului i se întind laţuri de păsări pe toate căile lui, îl vrăjmăşesc în Casa Dumnezeului său.

The prophet is the watchman of Ephraim with my God; yet a fowler’s snare is on all his ways, and hatred in the house of his God.

Mélységesen elfajultak, mint Gibea napjaiban. De megemlékezik álnokságaikról az ÚR, és megbünteti őket vétkeik miatt.

Mélyen elfajultak, mint Gibea napjaiban; [de] megemlékezik álnokságaikról, és megbünteti az ő gonoszságokat.

They have deeply corrupted themselves, as in the days of Gibeah: therefore he will remember their iniquity, he will visit their sins.

S-au afundat în stricăciune, ca în zilele Ghibei; Domnul Îşi va aduce aminte de nelegiuirea lor, le va pedepsi păcatele.

Olyannak találtam a pusztában Izráelt, mint a szőlőfürtöt; úgy néztem atyáitokra, mint a fügefa termésének zsengéjére. De amikor Baal-Peórhoz jutottak, gyalázatra adták magukat, és olyan utálatossá váltak, mint akit szerettek.

Mint szőlőfürtöket a pusztában, úgy találtam Izráelt; mint a fügefa első termésének zsengéjét, úgy néztem a ti atyáitokat; [de] bementek Baál-Peorhoz és a gyalázatosnak adták magokat, és útálatossá váltak, mint a mit szerettek.

I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time: but they went to Baalpeor, and separated themselves unto that shame; and their abominations were according as they loved.

„Am găsit pe Israel ca pe nişte struguri în pustiu, am văzut pe părinţii voştri ca pe cele dintâi roade ale unui smochin în primăvară; dar ei s-au dus la Baal-Peor, s-au pus în slujba idolului scârbos şi au ajuns urâcioşi ca şi acela pe care îl iubeau.

Like grapes in the wilderness, I found Israel. Like the first fruit on the fig tree in its first season, I saw your fathers. But they came to Baal-peor and consecrated themselves to the thing of shame, and became detestable like the thing they loved.

Elszáll Efraim dicsősége, mint a madár! Nem lesz szülés, sem fogamzás, sem terhesség!

As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception.

Slava lui Efraim va zbura ca o pasăre: nu mai este nicio naştere, nicio însărcinare şi nicio zămislire!

Ephraim’s glory shall fly away like a bird— no birth, no pregnancy, no conception!

Mert még ha föl is nevelnék fiaikat, mégis gyermektelenné teszem őket. Sőt jaj lesz nekik, ha elfordulok tőlük.

Though they bring up their children, yet will I bereave them, that there shall not be a man left: yea, woe also to them when I depart from them!

Chiar dacă îşi vor creşte copiii, îi voi lipsi de ei înainte ca să ajungă oameni mari; şi vai de ei, când Îmi voi întoarce privirile de la ei!

Even if they bring up children, I will bereave them till none is left. Woe to them when I depart from them!

Efraimot olyannak láttam, mint amilyen Tírusz: szépen elültetett fa. De Efraimnak mégis ki kell hoznia fiait az öldöklőknek.

Efraim, a mint néztem, mint Tírus van plántálva a mezőben; de Efraimnak mégis az öldöklőhöz kell kihoznia az ő fiait.

Ephraim, as I saw Tyrus, is planted in a pleasant place: but Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murderer.

Efraim, după cum văd, îşi dă copiii la pradă; şi Efraim îşi va duce singur copiii la cel ce-i va ucide!”

Ephraim, as I have seen, was like a young palm planted in a meadow; but Ephraim must lead his children out to slaughter.

Give them, O LORD: what wilt thou give? give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.

Minden gonoszságuk Gilgálból indult, ott gyűlöltem meg őket. Cselekedeteik gonoszsága miatt kiűzöm őket házamból, nem szeretem őket többé. Fejedelmeik mindnyájan pártütők.

Minden gonoszságuk Gilgálban [van,] mert ott gyűlöltem meg őket. Cselekedeteik gonoszsága miatt kiűzöm őket házamból; nem szeretem őket többé; fejedelmeik mindnyájan pártütők.

All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters.

„Toată răutatea lor este la Ghilgal; acolo M-am scârbit de ei. Din pricina răutăţii faptelor lor îi voi izgoni din Casa Mea. Nu-i mai pot iubi, toate căpeteniile lor sunt nişte îndărătnici.

Every evil of theirs is in Gilgal; there I began to hate them. Because of the wickedness of their deeds I will drive them out of my house. I will love them no more; all their princes are rebels.

Meg van verve Efraim, gyökere elszáradt, nem terem gyümölcsöt. Még ha születnének is gyermekei, megölöm szeretett magzatait.

Meg van verve Efraim, gyökerök elszáradt! Nem teremnek gyümölcsöt. Még ha nemzenének is, megölöm méhöknek szerelmes [magzatit.]

Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb.

Efraim este lovit, rădăcina i s-a uscat; nu mai dau rod; şi chiar dacă au copii, le voi omorî rodul iubit de ei.”

Ephraim is stricken; their root is dried up; they shall bear no fruit. Even though they give birth, I will put their beloved children to death.

Elveti őket az én Istenem, mert nem hallgattak rá, és bujdosóvá lesznek a népek között.

My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto him: and they shall be wanderers among the nations.

Dumnezeul meu îi va lepăda, pentru că nu L-au ascultat: de aceea vor rătăci printre neamuri.

My God will reject them because they have not listened to him; they shall be wanderers among the nations.
