Szádhoz a kürtöt! Mint a sas, úgy tör az ellenség az ÚR házára! Mert megszegték szövetségemet, és vétkeztek törvényem ellen!

Szádhoz a kürtöt! Mint a sas, [úgy jön] az Úr házára! Mert megszegték az én frigyemet, és vétkeztek az én törvényem ellen!

Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law.

Pune trâmbiţa în gură! Vrăjmaşul vine ca un vultur peste Casa Domnului! Căci au călcat legământul Meu şi au păcătuit împotriva Legii Mele.

Set the trumpet to your lips! One like a vulture is over the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant and rebelled against my law.

Kiáltanak hozzám: Én Istenem! Mi, Izráel, ismerünk téged!

Kiáltnak hozzám: Én Istenem! mi, az Izráel, ismerünk tégedet!

Israel shall cry unto me, My God, we know thee.

Atunci vor striga către Mine: „Dumnezeule, noi Te cunoaştem, noi, Israel!” –

To me they cry, “My God, we—Israel—know you.”

Megvetette Izráel a jót, ezért ellenség fogja üldözni.

Megvetette Izráel a jót, kergesse [hát] az ellenség.

Israel hath cast off the thing that is good: the enemy shall pursue him.

Israel a lepădat binele cu scârbă; de aceea vrăjmaşul îi va urmări.

Israel has spurned the good; the enemy shall pursue him.

Királyt emeltek, de nem általam, fejedelmet választottak, de tudtomon kívül. Ezüstjükből és aranyukból bálványokat formáltak, hogy vesztükre legyen.

Királyt emeltek ők; de nem én általam; fejedelmet választottak, de tudtomon kivül. Ezüstjökből és aranyukból bálványokat formáltak; csak azért, hogy semmivé legyen.

They have set up kings, but not by me: they have made princes, and I knew it not: of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off.

Au pus împăraţi fără porunca Mea şi căpetenii fără ştirea Mea; au făcut idoli din argintul şi aurul lor: de aceea vor fi nimiciţi.

They made kings, but not through me. They set up princes, but I knew it not. With their silver and gold they made idols for their own destruction.

Megutáltam borjúdat, Samária! Haragom fölgerjedt miatta. Meddig nem tudnak még tiszták lenni?

Megútálta a te borjúdat, oh Samaria! Haragom felgerjedt ellenök. Meddig nem lehetnek még tiszták?

Thy calf, O Samaria, hath cast thee off; mine anger is kindled against them: how long will it be ere they attain to innocency?

Viţelul tău este o scârbă, Samario! Mânia Mea s-a aprins împotriva lor! Până când nu vor vrea ei să se ţină curaţi?

I have spurned your calf, O Samaria. My anger burns against them. How long will they be incapable of innocence?

Ez is Izráelből való! Kézműves csinálta, és nem Isten az. Bizony, darabokra törik Samária borjúja!

Mert ez is Izráelből való! kézműves csinálta azt, és nem Isten az. Bizony forgácscsá lesz Samaria borjúja!

For from Israel was it also: the workman made it; therefore it is not God: but the calf of Samaria shall be broken in pieces.

Idolul acesta vine din Israel, un lucrător l-a făcut, şi nu este Dumnezeu. De aceea, viţelul Samariei va fi făcut bucăţi!

For it is from Israel; a craftsman made it; it is not God. The calf of Samaria shall be broken to pieces.

Mert szelet vetnek, és vihart aratnak. Nem szökik szárba a gabona, termése nem ad lisztet. Ha adna is, idegenek emésztik el azt.

Mert szelet vetnek és vihart aratnak. Nem indul szárba; termése nem ad lisztet; ha adna is, idegenek nyelik be azt.

For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk; the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up.

Fiindcă au semănat vânt, vor secera furtună. Nu le va creşte un spic de grâu; ce va răsări nu va da făină, şi, dacă ar da, ar mânca-o străinii.

For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind. The standing grain has no heads; it shall yield no flour; if it were to yield, strangers would devour it.

Elnyelettetik Izráel! Olyan immár a népek közt, mint valami becstelen dolog.

Israel is swallowed up: now shall they be among the Gentiles as a vessel wherein is no pleasure.

Israel este nimicit! Acum ei au ajuns printre neamuri ca un vas fără preţ.

Israel is swallowed up; already they are among the nations as a useless vessel.

Mert Asszíriába járnak, mint a magában bolyongó vadszamár, Efraim szeretőket bérelt.

Mert ők Assiriához folyamodnak; Efraim magában bolygó vadszamár; szeretőket bérelnek.

For they are gone up to Assyria, a wild ass alone by himself: Ephraim hath hired lovers.

Căci s-au dus în Asiria, ca un măgar sălbatic care umblă răzleţ. Efraim a dat daruri ca să aibă prieteni!

For they have gone up to Assyria, a wild donkey wandering alone; Ephraim has hired lovers.

De ha bérelnek is szövetségeseket a népek közt, én most összegyűjtöm őket, és kezdenek majd lefogyni a fejedelmek királyának terhétől.

De ha bérelnek is a pogányok közt, most összegyűjtöm őket, és kezdenek majd lefogyni a fejedelmek királyának terhétől.

Yea, though they have hired among the nations, now will I gather them, and they shall sorrow a little for the burden of the king of princes.

Chiar dacă ei dau daruri neamurilor, tot îi voi apăsa, ca să înceteze pentru puţină vreme să mai ungă vreun împărat şi domni.

Though they hire allies among the nations, I will soon gather them up. And the king and princes shall soon writhe because of the tribute.

Because Ephraim hath made many altars to sin, altars shall be unto him to sin.

Căci Efraim a zidit multe altare ca să păcătuiască, şi altarele acestea l-au făcut să cadă în păcat.

Because Ephraim has multiplied altars for sinning, they have become to him altars for sinning.

Ha ezernyi törvényt írnék is elő neki, idegennek tekintenék azokat.

Ha tízezer törvényt írnék is elébe, idegennek tekintenék azokat.

I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing.

Chiar dacă-i scriu toate poruncile Legii Mele, totuşi ele sunt privite ca ceva străin.

Were I to write for him my laws by the ten thousands, they would be regarded as a strange thing.

Nekem szánt áldozatképpen húst vágnak majd és esznek, de az ÚR nem tekint rá kedvesen. Megemlékezik immár álnokságukról, és megbünteti vétkeiket. Vissza fognak térni Egyiptomba.

Nékem szánt áldozatképen húst vágnak és esznek; az Úr nem tekint azokra kedvesen. Immár megemlékezik az ő álnokságukról, és megbünteti az ő vétkeiket; Égyiptomba fognak ők visszatérni.

They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of mine offerings, and eat it; but the LORD accepteth them not; now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins: they shall return to Egypt.

Ei înjunghie vitele pe care Mi le aduc, şi carnea le-o mănâncă: de aceea, Domnul nu le primeşte! Acum Domnul Îşi aduce aminte de nelegiuirea lor şi le va pedepsi păcatele: se vor întoarce în Egipt!

As for my sacrificial offerings, they sacrifice meat and eat it, but the LORD does not accept them. Now he will remember their iniquity and punish their sins; they shall return to Egypt.

Izráel elfeledkezett alkotójáról, és palotákat épített, Júda szaporította a megerősített városokat. De én tüzet bocsátok városaira, és az megemészti erődítményeit.

Most Izráel elfeledkezett az ő alkotójáról és palotákat épített; Júda megerősített városokat szaporított. De én tüzet bocsátok városaira, és az emészti meg az ő erősségeit.

For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and buildeth temples; and Judah hath multiplied fenced cities: but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the palaces thereof.

Căci Israel a uitat pe Cel ce l-a făcut, şi-a zidit palate, şi Iuda a înmulţit cetăţile întărite; de aceea voi trimite foc în cetăţile lor, şi le va mistui palatele.”

For Israel has forgotten his Maker and built palaces, and Judah has multiplied fortified cities; so I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour her strongholds.
