Azután ismét fölemeltem szememet, és íme, egy repülő irattekercset láttam.

Azután ismét felemelém szemeimet, és látám, hogy ímé, egy könyv repül vala.

Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll.

Am ridicat din nou ochii şi m-am uitat, şi iată că era un sul de carte care zbura.

Again I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, a flying scroll!

Megkérdezte tőlem: Mit látsz? Én azt mondtam: Egy repülő irattekercset látok, a hossza húsz könyök, a szélessége pedig tíz könyök.

És monda nékem: Mit látsz te? És én mondám: Látok egy repülő könyvet, húsz sing a hossza és tíz sing a széle.

And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.

El m-a întrebat: „Ce vezi?” Eu am răspuns: „Văd un sul de carte zburând; are o lungime de douăzeci de coţi şi o lăţime de zece coţi.”

And he said to me, “What do you see?” I answered, “I see a flying scroll. Its length is twenty cubits, and its width ten cubits.”

Azt mondta nekem: Ez az az átok, amely kihat az egész országra, mert mindenki, aki lop, e szerint lesz megítélve, és mindenki, aki hamisan esküszik, e szerint lesz megítélve.

És monda nékem: Ez az átok, a mely kihat az egész föld színére; mert mindaz, a ki lop, ehhez képest fog innen kiirtatni, és mindaz, a ki [hamisan] esküszik, ehhez képest fog innen kiirtatni.

Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it.

Şi el mi-a zis: „Acesta este blestemul care este peste toată ţara; căci, după cum este scris pe el, orice hoţ şi oricine jură strâmb va fi nimicit cu desăvârşire de aici.

Then he said to me, “This is the curse that goes out over the face of the whole land. For everyone who steals shall be cleaned out according to what is on one side, and everyone who swears falsely shall be cleaned out according to what is on the other side.

Kibocsátottam ezt – így szól a Seregek URa –, és bemegy a tolvaj házába s annak a házába, aki hamisan esküszik az én nevemre. Ott marad annak a házában, és elpusztítja azt, és annak gerendáit és köveit is.

Kibocsátom ezt, szól a Seregeknek Ura, és bemegy a lopónak házába, és annak házába, a ki hamisan esküszik az én nevemre, és ott marad annak házában, és megemészti azt, s annak fáit és köveit.

I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.

Îl trimit – zice Domnul oştirilor – ca să intre în casa hoţului şi a celui ce jură strâmb în Numele Meu, ca să rămână în casa aceea şi s-o mistuie împreună cu lemnele şi pietrele ei.”

I will send it out, declares the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter the house of the thief, and the house of him who swears falsely by my name. And it shall remain in his house and consume it, both timber and stones.”

Majd előlépett az angyal, aki beszélt velem, és azt mondta nekem: Emeld csak föl szemedet, és lásd meg, mi az, ami közeleg!

Majd kijöve az angyal, a ki beszél vala velem, és monda nékem: Emeld csak fel szemeidet, és lásd meg: micsoda az, a mi kijön?

Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.

Îngerul care vorbea cu mine a înaintat şi mi-a zis: „Ridică ochii şi priveşte ce iese de acolo.”

Then the angel who talked with me came forward and said to me, “Lift your eyes and see what this is that is going out.”

Azt kérdeztem: Mi ez? Ő pedig azt mondta: Egy véka az, ami közeleg. Azt mondta: Benne van az egész ország bűne!

És mondám: Micsoda ez? Ő pedig mondá: Az, a mi kijön, mérőedény. És mondá: Ilyen a formájok az egész földön.

And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth.

Eu am răspuns: „Ce este aceasta?” Şi el a zis: „Iese efa.” Şi a adăugat: „Aceasta este nelegiuirea lor în toată ţara.”

And I said, “What is it?” He said, “This is the basket that is going out.” And he said, “This is their iniquity in all the land.”

És íme, egy kerek ólomfedél emelkedett föl, és egy asszony ült a véka közepén.

És ímé, egy kerek ón-darab repül vala, és ül vala egy asszony a mérő- edény közepében.

And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.

Şi iată că se ridica un talant de plumb, şi în mijlocul efei şedea o femeie.

And behold, the leaden cover was lifted, and there was a woman sitting in the basket!

Azt mondta az angyal: Ez az istentelenség. Majd visszalökte az asszonyt a véka közepébe, az ólomfedelet pedig rádobta a véka szájára.

És mondá: Ez az istentelenség. És veté ezt a mérő-edény közepébe, a darab ónt pedig veté annak szájára.

And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.

El a zis: „Aceasta este nelegiuirea!” Şi i-a dat brânci în efă, şi a aruncat bucata de plumb peste gura efei.

And he said, “This is Wickedness.” And he thrust her back into the basket, and thrust down the leaden weight on its opening.

Amint fölemeltem szememet, láttam, hogy íme, két asszony közeledik, és a szél emelgeti a szárnyaikat. Szárnyaik olyanok voltak, mint a gólya szárnyai; és fölemelték a vékát a föld és az ég közé.

És felemelém szemeimet, és látám, hogy ímé, két asszony jöve elő, és szél vala szárnyaikban, és szárnyaik olyanok, mint az eszterágnak szárnyai, és felemelék a mérő-edényt a föld és az ég közé.

Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.

Am ridicat ochii şi m-am uitat, şi iată că s-au arătat două femei. În aripile lor sufla vântul: ele aveau aripi ca ale cocostârcului. Au ridicat efa între pământ şi cer.

Then I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, two women coming forward! The wind was in their wings. They had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the basket between earth and heaven.

Megkérdeztem az angyalt, aki velem beszélt: Hová viszik ezek a vékát?

És mondám az angyalnak, a ki beszél vala velem: Hová viszik ezek a mérő- edényt?

Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah?

Atunci am întrebat pe îngerul care vorbea cu mine: „Unde duc ele efa?”

Then I said to the angel who talked with me, “Where are they taking the basket?”

Azt mondta nekem: Házat építenek annak Sineár földjén, és ha készen van, elhelyezik ott méltó helyére.

És mondá nékem: Hogy házat építsenek annak a Sineár földén, és oda erősítsék, és ott hagyják azt a maga helyén.

And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.

El mi-a răspuns: „Se duc să-i zidească o casă în ţara Şinear, ca să fie aşezată acolo şi să rămână pe locul ei.”

He said to me, “To the land of Shinar, to build a house for it. And when this is prepared, they will set the basket down there on its base.”
