Dárius király negyedik esztendejében így szólt az ÚR szava Zakariáshoz a kilencedik hónap, Kiszlév negyedik napján,

És lőn a Dárius király negyedik esztendejében, hogy szóla az Úr Zakariáshoz a kilenczedik hónapnak, a Kiszlévnek negyedikén,

And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu;

În anul al patrulea al împăratului Darius, cuvântul Domnului a vorbit lui Zaharia, în ziua a patra a lunii a noua, care este luna Chisleu.

In the fourth year of King Darius, the word of the LORD came to Zechariah on the fourth day of the ninth month, which is Chislev.

amikor a bételiek elküldték Szárecert, RegemMeleket és társait, hogy esedezzenek az ÚR színe előtt,

Mikor elküldék az Isten házába Saréczert és Régem-Méleket és társait, hogy esedezzenek az Úr színe előtt,

When they had sent unto the house of God Sherezer and Regemmelech, and their men, to pray before the LORD,

Cei din Betel trimiseseră pe Şareţer şi pe Reghem-Melec cu oamenii săi să se roage Domnului

Now the people of Bethel had sent Sharezer and Regem-melech and their men to entreat the favor of the LORD,

és megkérdezzék a papokat, akik a Seregek URának a házában vannak, és megkérdezzék a prófétákat is: Sírjak-e az ötödik hónapban, és böjtöljek-e, ahogyan már jó néhány éve tesszük?

[És] hogy megkérdezzék a papokat, a kik a Seregek Urának házában vannak, és megkérdezzék a prófétákat is: Sírjak-é az ötödik hónapban [és] bőjtöljek-é, a mint cselekedtem azt néhány esztendő óta?

And to speak unto the priests which were in the house of the LORD of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?

şi să întrebe pe preoţii din Casa Domnului oştirilor şi pe proroci: „Trebuie să plâng şi în luna a cincea şi să mă înfrânez, cum am făcut atâţia ani?”

saying to the priests of the house of the LORD of hosts and the prophets, “Should I weep and abstain in the fifth month, as I have done for so many years?”

Ekkor így szólt hozzám a Seregek URa:

Szóla ekkor a Seregeknek Ura nékem, mondván:

Then came the word of the LORD of hosts unto me, saying,

Atunci cuvântul Domnului oştirilor mi-a vorbit astfel:

Then the word of the LORD of hosts came to me:

Így szólj az ország egész népéhez és a papokhoz: „Amikor böjtöltetek és gyászoltatok az ötödik és a hetedik hónapban, mégpedig hetven esztendeig, vajon valóban énértem böjtöltetek?

Szólj az ország minden népének és a papoknak, mondván: Mikor bőjtöltetek és gyászoltatok az ötödik és hetedik [hónap]ban, és pedig hetven esztendeig: avagy bőjtölvén, nékem bőjtöltetek-é?

Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?

„Spune la tot poporul ţării şi preoţilor: „Când aţi postit şi aţi plâns în luna a cincea şi a şaptea, în aceşti şaptezeci de ani, oare pentru Mine aţi postit voi?

“Say to all the people of the land and the priests, ‘When you fasted and mourned in the fifth month and in the seventh, for these seventy years, was it for me that you fasted?

Amikor pedig ettetek és ittatok, vajon nem magatokért ettetek és magatokért ittatok-e?

És mikor ettetek, és mikor ittatok: avagy nem magatoknak ettetek és magatoknak ittatok-é?

And when ye did eat, and when ye did drink, did not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?

Şi când mâncaţi şi beţi, nu sunteţi voi cei ce mâncaţi şi beţi?

And when you eat and when you drink, do you not eat for yourselves and drink for yourselves?

Nemde ezeket a szavakat hirdettette az ÚR a korábbi próféták által, amikor még népes és gazdag volt Jeruzsálem a körülötte levő városokkal együtt, és mind a Délvidék, mind pedig az alföld még népes volt?”

Avagy nem [ezek] a beszédek-é [azok,] a melyeket szólott vala az Úr az előbbi próféták által, mikor még Jeruzsálem népes és gazdag vala a körülte levő városokkal együtt, és mind a déli táj, mind a lapály-föld népes vala?

Should ye not hear the words which the LORD hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain?

Nu cunoaşteţi cuvintele pe care le-a vestit Domnul prin prorocii de mai înainte, când Ierusalimul era încă locuit şi liniştit împreună cu cetăţile lui dimprejur şi când şi partea de miazăzi şi câmpia erau locuite?”

Were not these the words that the LORD proclaimed by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and prosperous, with her cities around her, and the South and the lowland were inhabited?’”

Zakariáshoz ismét szólt az ÚR szava:

És szóla az Úr Zakariásnak, mondván:

And the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah, saying,

Cuvântul Domnului a vorbit lui Zaharia astfel:

And the word of the LORD came to Zechariah, saying,

Így szól a Seregek URa: „Igazságos ítélettel ítéljetek, szeretetet és könyörületességet gyakoroljon mindenki a felebarátjával!

Így szólt a Seregeknek Ura, mondván: Igaz ítélettel ítéljetek, és irgalmasságot és könyörületességet gyakoroljon kiki az ő felebarátjával!

Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:

„Aşa a vorbit Domnul oştirilor: „Faceţi cu adevărat dreptate şi purtaţi-vă cu bunătate şi îndurare unul faţă de altul.

“Thus says the LORD of hosts, Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another,

Az özvegyet és az árvát, a jövevényt és a szegényt ne zsákmányoljátok ki, és ne gondoljatok gonoszt szívetekben egymás ellen.”

Özvegyet és árvát, jövevényt és szegényt meg ne sarczoljatok, és egymás ellen még szívetekben se gondoljatok gonoszt.

And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.

Nu asupriţi pe văduvă şi pe orfan, nici pe străin şi pe sărac, şi niciunul să nu gândească rău în inima lui împotriva fratelui său.”

do not oppress the widow, the fatherless, the sojourner, or the poor, and let none of you devise evil against another in your heart.”

De ők nem akarták meghallani, sőt hátat fordítottak, és bedugták a fülüket, hogy ne halljanak.

De nem akarák meghallani, sőt vállaikat vonogaták, és bedugák füleiket, hogy ne halljanak.

But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.

Dar ei n-au vrut să ia aminte, ci au întors spatele şi şi-au astupat urechile ca să n-audă.

But they refused to pay attention and turned a stubborn shoulder and stopped their ears that they might not hear.

A szívüket is megkeményítették, hogy ne hallják a törvényt és azokat az szavakat, amelyeket a Seregek URa küldött lelke által a korábbi próféták révén. Ezen igen fölháborodott a Seregek URa.

Szívöket is megkeményíték, hogy ne hallják a törvényt és az igéket, a melyeket a Seregeknek Ura küldött vala az ő lelke által, az elébbi próféták által. És igen felgerjedt vala a Seregeknek Ura.

Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts.

Şi-au făcut inima ca diamantul de tare, ca să n-asculte Legea, nici cuvintele pe care li le spunea Domnul oştirilor prin Duhul Său, prin prorocii de mai înainte. Din pricina aceasta, Domnul oştirilor S-a aprins de o mare mânie.

They made their hearts diamond-hard lest they should hear the law and the words that the LORD of hosts had sent by his Spirit through the former prophets. Therefore great anger came from the LORD of hosts.

Ezért, ahogy én kiáltottam, és nem hallgattak meg, úgy ők is kiáltanak, és én sem hallgatom meg őket – ezt mondja a Seregek URa.

És lőn, hogy a mint én kiáltottam és nem hallották meg: úgy kiáltottak, de nem hallottam meg, azt mondja a Seregeknek Ura;

Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the LORD of hosts:

Când chema El, ei n-au vrut s-asculte: „De aceea nici Eu n-am vrut s-ascult, când au chemat ei, zice Domnul oştirilor.

“As I called, and they would not hear, so they called, and I would not hear,” says the LORD of hosts,

Szétszórtam őket mindenféle nép közé, amelyeket nem ismertek, az ország pedig puszta maradt utánuk, és senki sem megy át rajta. Így tették pusztává a kívánatos országot.

Hanem szétszórtam őket mindenféle nemzetek közé, a kik nem ismerték őket, és puszta lőn utánok a föld, hogy senki [azon] sem át nem megy, sem meg nem tér. Így tevék pusztává a kívánatos földet.

But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not. Thus the land was desolate after them, that no man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land desolate.

Ci i-am împrăştiat printre toate neamurile pe care nu le cunoşteau; ţara a fost pustiită în urma lor, aşa că nimeni nu mai venea şi nu mai pleca din ea; şi dintr-o ţară plăcută cum era, au făcut un pustiu!”

“and I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations that they had not known. Thus the land they left was desolate, so that no one went to and fro, and the pleasant land was made desolate.”
