Dárius második esztendejében, a nyolcadik hónapban így szólt az ÚR szava Zakariáshoz, Berekjá fiához, aki Iddó próféta fia volt:

Dárius második esztendejében, a nyolczadik hónapban szóla az Úr Zakariáshoz, a Berekiás fiához, a ki Iddó próféta fia, mondván:

In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,

În luna a opta, în anul al doilea al lui Darius, cuvântul Domnului a vorbit prorocului Zaharia, fiul lui Berechia, fiul lui Ido, astfel:

In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came to the prophet Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, son of Iddo, saying,

„Igen megharagudott atyáitokra az ÚR.

Igen megharagudott az Úr a ti atyáitokra.

The LORD hath been sore displeased with your fathers.

„Domnul S-a mâniat foarte tare pe părinţii voştri.

“The LORD was very angry with your fathers.

Azért ezt mondd nekik: Azt mondja a Seregek URa: Térjetek hozzám – így szól a Seregek URa –, és én is hozzátok térek – mondja a Seregek URa.

Mondjad azért nékik: Ezt mondja a Seregeknek Ura: Térjetek hozzám, szól a Seregeknek Ura, és hozzátok térek, mond a Seregeknek Ura.

Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.

Spune-le, dar: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul oştirilor: „Întoarceţi-vă la Mine, zice Domnul oştirilor, şi Mă voi întoarce şi Eu la voi, zice Domnul oştirilor.

Therefore say to them, Thus declares the LORD of hosts: Return to me, says the LORD of hosts, and I will return to you, says the LORD of hosts.

Ne legyetek olyanok, mint atyáitok, akikhez a korábbi próféták így kiáltottak: Azt mondja a Seregek URa: Térjetek meg gonosz útjaitokról és gonosz cselekedeteitekből, de ők nem hallgattak meg, és nem figyeltek rám – így szól az ÚR.

Ne legyetek olyanok, mint atyáitok, a kikhez az elébbi próféták kiáltottak, mondván: Ezt mondja a Seregeknek Ura: Térjetek meg kérlek a ti gonosz útaitokról, és a ti gonosz cselekedeteitekből, de nem hallgattak meg, és nem figyelmeztek reám, szól az Úr.

Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the LORD.

Nu fiţi ca părinţii voştri, cărora le vorbeau prorocii de mai înainte, zicând: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul oştirilor: „Întoarceţi-vă de la căile voastre cele rele, de la faptele voastre cele rele!”, dar n-au ascultat şi n-au luat aminte la Mine, zice Domnul.

Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets cried out, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts, Return from your evil ways and from your evil deeds.’ But they did not hear or pay attention to me, declares the LORD.

Hol vannak atyáitok?! És a próféták vajon örökké élnek?

Atyáitok? Hol vannak ők? És a próféták örökké élnek-é?

Your fathers, where are they? and the prophets, do they live for ever?

Unde sunt acum părinţii voştri? Şi puteau prorocii să trăiască veşnic?

Your fathers, where are they? And the prophets, do they live forever?

De az én beszédeim és végzéseim, amelyeket szolgáim, a próféták által hirdettem, nemde utolérték atyáitokat? Akkor megtértek, és azt mondták: Ahogyan a Seregek URa elhatározta, hogy útjaink és cselekedeteink szerint bánik velünk, úgy bánt velünk.”

De az én beszédeim és végzéseim, a melyeket szolgáim, a próféták által hirdettem: nem beteljesedtek-é a ti atyáitokon? És megtértek és azt mondták: A mint elhatározta vala a Seregeknek Ura, hogy a mi útaink és cselekedeteink szerint bánik velünk: úgy bánt velünk.

But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? and they returned and said, Like as the LORD of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.

Totuşi cuvintele Mele şi poruncile pe care le dădusem slujitorilor Mei prorocii ca să le vestească n-au atins ele pe părinţii voştri? Şi atunci ei s-au întors şi au zis: „Domnul oştirilor ne-a făcut cum hotărâse să ne facă, după căile şi faptele noastre!”

But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not overtake your fathers? So they repented and said, ‘As the LORD of hosts purposed to deal with us for our ways and deeds, so has he dealt with us.’”

A tizenegyedik hónap, azaz a Sebát hónap huszonnegyedik napján, Dárius második esztendejében így szólt az ÚR szava Zakariáshoz, Berekjá fiához, aki Iddó próféta fia volt:

A tizenegyedik hónapnak, azaz a Sebat hónapnak huszonnegyedik napján, Dáriusnak második esztendejében, szóla az Úr Zakariáshoz, a Berekiás fiához, a ki Iddó próféta fia, mondván:

Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,

În a douăzeci şi patra zi a lunii a unsprezecea, care este luna Şebat, în anul al doilea al lui Darius, cuvântul Domnului a vorbit prorocului Zaharia, fiul lui Berechia, fiul lui Ido, astfel:

On the twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month, which is the month of Shebat, in the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came to the prophet Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, son of Iddo, saying,

Azt láttam éjszaka, hogy íme, vörös lovon ült egy férfi, és megállt a mirtuszfák között, amelyek egy völgyben voltak; a háta mögött pedig vörös, tarka és fehér lovak voltak.

Látám éjszaka, hogy ímé, egy férfiú veres lovon ül vala, és áll vala a mirtus-fák között, a melyek egy árnyas völgyben valának; háta megett pedig veres, tarka és fehér lovak.

I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red horses, speckled, and white.

M-am uitat noaptea, şi iată că un om era călare pe un cal roşu şi stătea între mirţi într-un umbrar; în urma lui erau nişte cai roşii, murgi şi albi.

“I saw in the night, and behold, a man riding on a red horse! He was standing among the myrtle trees in the glen, and behind him were red, sorrel, and white horses.

Akkor megkérdeztem: Mik ezek, Uram? Erre azt mondta nekem az angyal, aki velem beszélt: Megmutatom neked, hogy mik ezek.

És mondám: Mik ezek Uram? És mondá nékem az angyal, a ki beszél vala nékem: Én megmutatom néked: mik ezek.

Then said I, O my lord, what are these? And the angel that talked with me said unto me, I will shew thee what these be.

Am întrebat: „Ce înseamnă caii aceştia, domnul meu?” Şi îngerul care vorbea cu mine mi-a zis: – Îţi voi arăta ce înseamnă caii aceştia!”

Then I said, ‘What are these, my lord?’ The angel who talked with me said to me, ‘I will show you what they are.’

Akkor így felelt az a férfi, aki a mirtuszfák között állt: Ezek azok, akiket az ÚR küldött, hogy járják be a földet.

Akkor felele az a férfiú, a ki a mirtus-fák között áll vala, és mondá: Azok ezek, a kiket az Úr küldött, hogy járják be e földet;

And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These are they whom the LORD hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.

Omul care stătea între mirţi a luat cuvântul şi a zis: „Aceştia sunt aceia pe care i-a trimis Domnul să cutreiere pământul!”

So the man who was standing among the myrtle trees answered, ‘These are they whom the LORD has sent to patrol the earth.’

Akkor azt mondták az ÚR angyalának, aki a mirtuszfák között állt: Bejártuk a földet, és íme, az egész föld békés és nyugodt.

És felelének az Úr angyalának, a ki a mirtus-fák között áll vala, és mondák: Bejártuk a földet, és ímé, az egész föld vesztegel és nyugodt.

And they answered the angel of the LORD that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.

Şi ei au vorbit Îngerului Domnului care stătea între mirţi şi au zis: „Am cutreierat pământul, şi iată că tot pământul este în pace şi liniştit!”

And they answered the angel of the LORD who was standing among the myrtle trees, and said, ‘We have patrolled the earth, and behold, all the earth remains at rest.’

Az ÚR angyala így felelt: Seregek URa! Meddig nem könyörülsz még Jeruzsálemen és Júda városain, amelyekre immár hetven esztendeje haragszol?

Az Úr angyala pedig felele, és mondá: Seregeknek Ura! Meddig nem könyörülsz még Jeruzsálemen és Júdának városain, a melyekre haragszol immár hetven esztendő óta?

Then the angel of the LORD answered and said, O LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years?

Atunci Îngerul Domnului a luat cuvântul şi a zis: „Doamne al oştirilor, până când nu vei avea milă de Ierusalim şi de cetăţile lui Iuda, pe care Te-ai mâniat în aceşti şaptezeci de ani?”

Then the angel of the LORD said, ‘O LORD of hosts, how long will you have no mercy on Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, against which you have been angry these seventy years?’

Az ÚR kedves és vigasztaló szavakkal felelt az angyalnak, aki beszélt velem.

És nyájas szavakkal, vígasztaló szókkal felele az Úr az angyalnak, a ki beszél vala velem.

And the LORD answered the angel that talked with me with good words and comfortable words.

Domnul a răspuns cu vorbe bune, cu vorbe de mângâiere îngerului care vorbea cu mine.

And the LORD answered gracious and comforting words to the angel who talked with me.

Majd azt mondta nekem az angyal, aki beszélt velem: Kiálts, és ezt mondd: „Így szól a Seregek URa: Féltő szeretettel féltem Jeruzsálemet és Siont,

És mondá nékem az angyal, a ki beszél vala velem: Kiálts, ezt mondván: Ezt mondja a Seregeknek Ura: szeretem Jeruzsálemet és a Siont nagy szeretettel!

So the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.

Şi îngerul care vorbea cu mine mi-a zis: „Strigă şi zi: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul oştirilor: „Sunt plin de o mare gelozie pentru Ierusalim şi pentru Sion

So the angel who talked with me said to me, ‘Cry out, Thus says the LORD of hosts: I am exceedingly jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion.

és nagy haraggal haragszom a hivalkodó népekre, mert amikor kevésbé haragudtam rájuk, ők egyre több gonoszságot tettek.

De nagy haraggal haragszom én a hivalkodó népekre, a kikre kevéssé haragudtam [ugyan,] de ők gonoszra törtek.

And I am very sore displeased with the heathen that are at ease: for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction.

şi sunt plin de o mare mânie împotriva neamurilor îngâmfate; căci Mă mâniasem numai puţin, dar ele au ajutat spre nenorocire.”

And I am exceedingly angry with the nations that are at ease; for while I was angry but a little, they furthered the disaster.

Azért azt mondja az ÚR: Könyörületességgel fordulok Jeruzsálemhez, megépül majd benne a házam – így szól a Seregek URa –, és mérőzsinórt feszítenek ki Jeruzsálem fölött.”

Azt mondja azért az Úr: könyörületességgel fordulok Jeruzsálemhez; benne építtetik meg az én házam, szól a Seregeknek Ura, és mérőzsinór nyujtatik ki Jeruzsálem felett.

Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.

De aceea aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Mă întorc cu îndurarea către Ierusalim; Casa Mea va fi zidită iarăşi în el, şi funia de măsurat se va întinde asupra Ierusalimului.”

Therefore, thus says the LORD, I have returned to Jerusalem with mercy; my house shall be built in it, declares the LORD of hosts, and the measuring line shall be stretched out over Jerusalem.

Még ezt is kiáltsd: „Azt mondja a Seregek URa: Bővelkedni fognak még városaim a jóban, mert megvigasztalja még az ÚR Siont, és magáévá fogadja még Jeruzsálemet!”

Mégis kiálts, mondván: Ezt mondja a Seregeknek Ura: Bővelkedni fognak még városaim a jóban, mert megvígasztalja még az Úr a Siont, és magáévá fogadja még Jeruzsálemet!

Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.

Strigă din nou şi zi: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul oştirilor: „Cetăţile Mele vor avea iarăşi belşug de bunătăţi, Domnul va mângâia iarăşi Sionul, va alege iarăşi Ierusalimul.”

Cry out again, Thus says the LORD of hosts: My cities shall again overflow with prosperity, and the LORD will again comfort Zion and again choose Jerusalem.’”

Majd fölemeltem szememet, és íme, négy szarvat láttam.

Majd felemelém szemeimet, és ímé, négy szarvat láték.

Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns.

Am ridicat ochii şi m-am uitat, şi iată că erau patru coarne!

And I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, four horns!

Akkor megkérdeztem az angyaltól, aki velem beszélt, hogy mik ezek. Azt mondta nekem: Ezek azok a szarvak, amelyek szétszórták Júdát, Izráelt és Jeruzsálemet.

És mondám az angyalnak, a ki beszél vala velem: Mik ezek? És monda nékem: Ezek azok a szarvak, a melyek szétszórták Júdát, Izráelt és Jeruzsálemet.

And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.

Am întrebat îngerul care vorbea cu mine: „Ce înseamnă coarnele acestea?” Şi el mi-a zis: „Acestea sunt coarnele care au risipit pe Iuda, pe Israel şi Ierusalimul.”

And I said to the angel who talked with me, “What are these?” And he said to me, “These are the horns that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.”

Azután az ÚR négy mesterembert mutatott nekem.

Azután mutata nékem az Úr négy mesterembert.

And the LORD shewed me four carpenters.

Domnul mi-a arătat patru fierari.

Then the LORD showed me four craftsmen.

Azt kérdeztem: Mit fognak ezek csinálni? Ő pedig azt felelte: Ezek azok a szarvak, amelyek szétszórták Júdát, olyannyira, hogy még a fejét sem emelhette föl senki. De eljöttek ezek, hogy elrettentsék őket, és letörjék azoknak a népeknek a szarvait, amelyek fölemelték szarvukat Júda földje ellen, hogy szétszórják.

És mondám: Mit jöttek ezek cselekedni? Ő pedig szóla, mondván: Ezek azok a szarvak, a melyek szétszórták Júdát annyira, hogy senki sem emelheti vala fel fejét: de eljöttek ezek, hogy elrettentsék őket, hogy letörjék a pogányok szarvait, a kik szarvakkal támadtak vala Júda földe ellen, hogy szétszórják azt.

Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.

Eu am întrebat: „Ce vor să facă aceştia?” Şi el a zis: „Aceştia vin să sperie coarnele care au risipit pe Iuda, de n-a mai putut ridica nimeni capul; fierarii aceştia au venit să sperie şi să taie coarnele neamurilor care au ridicat cornul împotriva ţării lui Iuda ca să-i risipească locuitorii.”

And I said, “What are these coming to do?” He said, “These are the horns that scattered Judah, so that no one raised his head. And these have come to terrify them, to cast down the horns of the nations who lifted up their horns against the land of Judah to scatter it.”
