A hetedik hónap huszonnegyedik napján így szólt az ÚR szava Haggeus próféta által:

In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the LORD by the prophet Haggai, saying,

În a douăzeci şi una zi a lunii a şaptea, cuvântul Domnului a vorbit prin prorocul Hagai astfel:

In the seventh month, on the twenty-first day of the month, the word of the LORD came by the hand of Haggai the prophet:

Ezt mondd Zerubbábelnek, Sealtiél fiának, Júda helytartójának, és Jósua főpapnak, Jócádák fiának és a megmaradt népnek:

Szólj csak Zorobábelnek, a Sealtiél fiának, Júda fejedelmének, és Jósuának, a Jehosadák fiának, a főpapnak, és a nép többi [tag]jainak, mondván:

Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,

„Vorbeşte lui Zorobabel, fiul lui Şealtiel, dregătorul lui Iuda, lui Iosua, fiul lui Ioţadac, marele preot, şi rămăşiţei poporului şi spune-le:

“Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to all the remnant of the people, and say,

„Ki van még közöttetek, aki látta ezt a házat a régi dicsőségében? És milyennek látjátok most? Hát nem olyan ez a szemetekben, mintha semmi volna?

Ki van még életben köztetek, a ki látta ezt a házat az ő első dicsőségében? És milyennek látjátok ti most ezt? Avagy olyan-é ez a ti szemetekben, mintha semmi volna?

Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?

„Cine a mai rămas între voi din cei ce au văzut Casa aceasta în slava ei dintâi? Şi cum o vedeţi acum? Aşa cum este, nu pare ea ca o nimica în ochii voştri?

‘Who is left among you who saw this house in its former glory? How do you see it now? Is it not as nothing in your eyes?

De most légy bátor, Zerubbábel! – ezt mondja az ÚR. Légy bátor te is, Jósua főpap, Jócádák fia, és legyen bátor az ország egész népe – ezt mondja az ÚR –, és dolgozzatok, mert én veletek vagyok – így szól a Seregek URa.

De most légy bátor, Zorobábel, azt mondja az Úr! Légy bátor te is, Jósua, Jehosadák fia, te főpap, és légy bátor e földnek minden népe, azt mondja az Úr, és cselekedjétek, mert én veletek vagyok, azt mondja a Seregeknek Ura,

Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts:

Acum fii tare, Zorobabel! – zice Domnul. Fii tare şi tu, Iosua, fiul lui Ioţadac, marele preot! Fii tare şi tu, tot poporul din ţară, zice Domnul, şi lucraţi! Căci Eu sunt cu voi, zice Domnul oştirilor.

Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, declares the LORD. Be strong, O Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land, declares the LORD. Work, for I am with you, declares the LORD of hosts,

Mert azon ígéretem szerint, amellyel szövetségre léptem veletek, amikor kijöttetek Egyiptomból, lelkem közöttetek marad. Ne féljetek!

Az igét, a melylyel szövetségre léptem veletek, mikor kijöttetek Égyiptomból, és az én lelkem köztetek marad. Ne féljetek!

According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.

Eu rămân credincios legământului pe care l-am făcut cu voi, când aţi ieşit din Egipt, şi Duhul Meu este în mijlocul vostru; nu vă temeţi!”

according to the covenant that I made with you when you came out of Egypt. My Spirit remains in your midst. Fear not.

Mert azt mondja a Seregek URa: Egy kevés idő még, és megrendítem az eget és a földet, a tengert és a szárazföldet.

Mert ezt mondja a Seregeknek Ura: Egy kevés [idő] van még, és én megindítom az eget és a földet, a tengert és a szárazt.

For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;

Căci aşa vorbeşte Domnul oştirilor: „Încă puţină vreme, şi voi clătina încă o dată cerurile şi pământul, marea şi uscatul;

For thus says the LORD of hosts: Yet once more, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land.

Megrendítek minden népet, és eljönnek kincseikkel, ezt a házat pedig megtöltöm dicsőséggel – ezt mondja a Seregek URa.

És megindítok minden népet, és eljön, a kit minden népek óhajtanak, és megtöltöm e házat dicsőséggel, azt mondja a Seregeknek Ura.

And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.

voi clătina toate neamurile; comorile tuturor neamurilor vor veni, şi voi umple de slavă Casa aceasta, zice Domnul oştirilor.

And I will shake all nations, so that the treasures of all nations shall come in, and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of hosts.

Enyém az ezüst, és enyém az arany – ezt mondja a Seregek URa.

Enyém az ezüst és enyém az arany, azt mondja a Seregeknek Ura.

The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.

Al Meu este argintul şi al Meu este aurul, zice Domnul oştirilor.

The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, declares the LORD of hosts.

Nagyobb lesz e második ház dicsősége az elsőnél – ezt mondja a Seregek URa –, és ezen a helyen békességet adok – így szól a Seregek URa.”

Nagyobb lészen e második háznak dicsősége az elsőnél, azt mondja a Seregeknek Ura, és e helyen adok békességet, azt mondja a Seregeknek Ura.

The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.

Slava acestei Case din urmă va fi mai mare decât a celei dintâi, zice Domnul oştirilor; şi în locul acesta voi da pacea, zice Domnul oştirilor.”

The latter glory of this house shall be greater than the former, says the LORD of hosts. And in this place I will give peace, declares the LORD of hosts.’”

A kilencedik hónap huszonnegyedik napján, Dárius második esztendejében így szólt az ÚR Haggeus próféta által:

A kilenczedik hónap huszonnegyedikén, Dáriusnak második esztendejében szóla az Úr Aggeus próféta által, mondván:

In the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,

În a douăzeci şi patra zi a lunii a noua, în anul al doilea al lui Darius, cuvântul Domnului a vorbit prin prorocul Hagai astfel:

On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet,

Ezt mondja a Seregek URa: „Kérdezd csak meg a papokat a törvény felől:

Ezt mondja a Seregeknek Ura: Kérdezd meg csak a papokat a törvény felől, mondván:

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,

„Aşa vorbeşte Domnul oştirilor: „Pune preoţilor următoarea întrebare asupra Legii:

“Thus says the LORD of hosts: Ask the priests about the law:

ha szentelt húst visz valaki köntöse szárnyában, és annak szárnya hozzáér a kenyérhez vagy a főzelékhez, a borhoz vagy az olajhoz vagy bármi más eleséghez: vajon szent lesz-e az? Erre így feleltek a papok: Nem!

Ha szentelt húst visz valaki az ő köntösének szárnyában, és illeti annak szárnyával a kenyeret vagy a főzeléket, vagy a bort, vagy az olajat, vagy bármi más eleséget: vajjon szent-e az? És felelének a papok, és mondák: Nem.

If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.

„Dacă poartă cineva în poala hainei sale carne sfinţită şi atinge cu haina lui pâine, bucate fierte, vin, untdelemn sau o mâncare oarecare, lucrurile acestea vor fi sfinţite?” Preoţii au răspuns: „Nu!”

‘If someone carries holy meat in the fold of his garment and touches with his fold bread or stew or wine or oil or any kind of food, does it become holy?’” The priests answered and said, “No.”

Akkor Haggeus azt kérdezte: Ha egy holttest által tisztátalanná lett ember érinti mindezeket, tisztátalanná lesznek-e? Erre így feleltek a papok: Tisztátalanná!

Aggeus pedig mondá: Ha hulla által fertőzött illeti mindezeket, tisztátalanná lesz-é? És felelének a papok, és mondák: Tisztátalanná!

Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.

Şi Hagai a zis: „Dacă se atinge cineva spurcat prin atingerea de un trup mort de toate aceste lucruri, vor fi ele spurcate oare?” Preoţii au răspuns: „Vor fi spurcate.”

Then Haggai said, “If someone who is unclean by contact with a dead body touches any of these, does it become unclean?” The priests answered and said, “It does become unclean.”

Haggeus pedig így felelt: Pont ilyen ez a nép, és éppen ilyen e nemzet előttem – ezt mondja az ÚR –, és pont ilyen kezük minden munkája: amit áldozatul fölhoznak ide, az is mind tisztátalan.

Aggeus pedig felele, és mondá: Épp így e nép és épp így e nemzet én előttem, azt mondja az Úr, és épp így kezöknek minden munkája, és a mit ide felhoznak: tisztátalan az.

Then answered Haggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the LORD; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean.

Atunci Hagai, luând iarăşi cuvântul, a zis: „Tot aşa este şi poporul acesta, tot aşa este şi neamul acesta înaintea Mea, zice Domnul, aşa sunt toate lucrările mâinilor lor: ce-Mi aduc ei acolo ca jertfă este spurcat!

Then Haggai answered and said, “So is it with this people, and with this nation before me, declares the LORD, and so with every work of their hands. And what they offer there is unclean.

Most azért jól gondoljátok meg, mi volt a múltban egészen a mai napig, mióta követ kőre raktatok az ÚR hajlékában!

Most azért jól gondoljátok meg e naptól fogva az elmultakat is, mielőtt még követ kőre tettek volna az Úr hajlékában!

And now, I pray you, consider from this day and upward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD:

Uitaţi-vă, dar, cu băgare de seamă la cele ce s-au întâmplat până în ziua de azi, până să se fi pus piatră pe piatră la Templul Domnului!

Now then, consider from this day onward. Before stone was placed upon stone in the temple of the LORD,

Eddig az történt, hogy aki elment oda, ahol húsz véka gabonára számított, csak tíz volt. Ha elment a sajtóhoz, hogy ötven vödörrel merítsen, csak húsz volt.

Az előtt elmentek a huszas garmadához, és tíz lett; elmentek a sajtóhoz, hogy ötven vederrel merítsenek, és húsz lett.

Since those days were, when one came to an heap of twenty measures, there were but ten: when one came to the pressfat for to draw out fifty vessels out of the press, there were but twenty.

Atunci când veneau la o grămadă de douăzeci de măsuri, nu erau în ea decât zece; când veneau la teasc să scoată cinzeci de măsuri, nu erau în el decât douăzeci!

how did you fare? When one came to a heap of twenty measures, there were but ten. When one came to the wine vat to draw fifty measures, there were but twenty.

Megvertelek benneteket aszállyal, üszöggel, és jégesővel vertem kezetek minden munkáját, de mégsem hajoltatok hozzám – ezt mondja az ÚR.

Megvertelek titeket üszöggel, ragyával, és kezetek minden munkáját kőesővel, és még sem [hajoltatok] hozzám, azt mondja az Úr.

I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye turned not to me, saith the LORD.

V-am lovit cu rugină în grâu şi cu tăciune, şi cu grindină; am lovit tot lucrul mâinilor voastre. Şi cu toate acestea, tot nu v-aţi întors la Mine, zice Domnul.

I struck you and all the products of your toil with blight and with mildew and with hail, yet you did not turn to me, declares the LORD.

Jól gondoljátok hát meg mától fogva az elmúlt dolgokat, a kilencedik hónap huszonnegyedik napjáig, attól a naptól fogva, amelyen lerakták az ÚR hajlékának alapját. Jól gondoljátok meg!

Jól gondoljátok hát meg e naptól fogva az elmultakat is! A kilenczedik [hónap] huszonnegyedik napjától, attól a naptól fogva, a melyen letétetett az Úr hajlékának alapja. Jól meggondoljátok!

Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the LORD's temple was laid, consider it.

Uitaţi-vă cu băgare de seamă la cele ce s-au petrecut până în ziua de azi, până în a douăzeci şi patra zi a lunii a noua, din ziua când a fost întemeiat Templul Domnului, uitaţi-vă cu băgare de seamă la ele.

Consider from this day onward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month. Since the day that the foundation of the LORD’s temple was laid, consider:

Van-e még mag a csűrben? És bizony a szőlő, füge, gránátalma és az olajfa sem termett! De ettől a naptól fogva megáldalak.”

Van-é még mag a csűrben? És bizony, a szőlő, a füge, a gránátalma és az olajfa sem termett! E naptól fogva megáldalak.

Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you.

Mai era sămânţă în grânare? Nici via, nici smochinul, nici rodiul şi nici măslinul n-au mai adus nimic. Dar din ziua aceasta, Îmi voi da binecuvântarea Mea.”

Is the seed yet in the barn? Indeed, the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have yielded nothing. But from this day on I will bless you.”

And again the word of the LORD came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying,

The word of the LORD came a second time to Haggai on the twenty-fourth day of the month,

Mondd meg Zerubbábelnek, Júda helytartójának: „Megrendítem az eget és a földet.

Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;

„Vorbeşte lui Zorobabel, dregătorul lui Iuda, şi spune: „Voi clătina cerurile şi pământul;

“Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I am about to shake the heavens and the earth,

Fölborítom a királyok trónjait, letöröm a népek királyságainak erejét. Fölborítom a harci szekeret és a benne ülőket, leroskadnak a lovak és a lovasok, mindegyik társának fegyvere által esik el.

És felforgatom az országok királyi székét, és elfogyasztom a pogány országok erejét, és felforgatom a szekeret és a benne ülőket, és lehullanak a lovak és a rajtok ülők: kiki az ő atyjafiának fegyvere által.

And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.

voi răsturna scaunul de domnie al împărăţiilor, voi nimici puterea împărăţiilor neamurilor, voi răsturna şi carele de război, şi pe cei ce se suie în ele; caii şi călăreţii lor vor fi trântiţi la pământ, şi unul va pieri ucis de sabia altuia.

and to overthrow the throne of kingdoms. I am about to destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations, and overthrow the chariots and their riders. And the horses and their riders shall go down, every one by the sword of his brother.

Azon a napon – ezt mondja a Seregek URa – fölveszlek téged, Zerubbábel, Sealtiél fia, én szolgám – így szól az ÚR –, és olyanná teszlek, mint egy pecsétgyűrű, mert téged választottalak ki – ezt mondja a Seregek URa.”

Azon a napon, azt mondja a Seregeknek Ura, felveszlek téged Zorobábel, Sealtiélnek fia, én szolgám, azt mondja az Úr, és olyanná teszlek, mint egy pecsétgyürű, mert téged választottalak el, azt mondja a Seregeknek Ura.

In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts.

În ziua aceea, zice Domnul oştirilor, pe tine, Zorobabel, fiul lui Şealtiel, robul Meu – zice Domnul – te voi lua şi te voi păstra ca pe o pecete; căci Eu te-am ales, zice Domnul oştirilor.”

On that day, declares the LORD of hosts, I will take you, O Zerubbabel my servant, the son of Shealtiel, declares the LORD, and make you like a signet ring, for I have chosen you, declares the LORD of hosts.”
