Azt mondom pedig, hogy ameddig az örökös kiskorú, semmiben sem különbözik a szolgától, jóllehet ura mindennek,

Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;

Dar, câtă vreme moştenitorul este nevârstnic, eu spun că nu se deosebeşte cu nimic de un rob, măcar că este stăpân pe tot.

I mean that the heir, as long as he is a child, is no different from a slave, though he is the owner of everything,

Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:

Tot aşa şi noi, când eram nevârstnici, eram sub robia învăţăturilor începătoare ale lumii.

In the same way we also, when we were children, were enslaved to the elementary principles of the world.

Amikor azonban eljött az idő teljessége, elküldte Isten az ő Fiát, aki asszonytól született a törvénynek alávetve,

Mivel pedig fiak vagytok, Isten elküldte Fiának Lelkét a szívünkbe, aki ezt kiáltja: Abbá, Atya!

Minthogy pedig fiak vagytok, kibocsátotta az Isten az ő Fiának Lelkét a ti szíveitekbe, ki ezt kiáltja: Abba, Atya!

And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Şi, pentru că sunteţi fii, Dumnezeu ne-a trimis în inimă Duhul Fiului Său care strigă: „Ava”, adică: „Tată!”

And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!”

Azért nem vagy többé szolga, hanem fiú, ha pedig fiú, akkor Isten akaratából örökös is.

Azért nem vagy többé szolga, hanem fiú; ha pedig fiú, Istennek örököse is Krisztus által.

Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Aşa că nu mai eşti rob, ci fiu; şi, dacă eşti fiu, eşti şi moştenitor, prin Dumnezeu.

So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.

Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.

Odinioară, când nu cunoşteaţi pe Dumnezeu, eraţi robiţi celor ce din firea lor nu sunt dumnezei.

Formerly, when you did not know God, you were enslaved to those that by nature are not gods.

Most azonban, hogy megismertétek Istent, sőt hogy Isten megismert titeket, hogyan térhettek vissza ismét az erőtlen és gyarló elemekhez, hogy újból azoknak szolgáljatok?

Most azonban, hogy megismertétek az Istent, sőt hogy megismert titeket az Isten, miként tértek vissza ismét az erőtelen és gyarló elemekhez, a melyeknek megint újból szolgálni akartok?

But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

Dar acum, după ce aţi cunoscut pe Dumnezeu sau, mai bine zis, după ce aţi fost cunoscuţi de Dumnezeu, cum vă mai întoarceţi iarăşi la acele învăţături începătoare, slabe şi sărăcăcioase, cărora vreţi să vă supuneţi din nou?

But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless elementary principles of the world, whose slaves you want to be once more?

Megtartjátok a napokat, hónapokat, időszakokat meg az esztendőket.

Megtartjátok a napokat és hónapokat és időket, meg az esztendőket.

Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.

Voi păziţi zile, luni, vremuri şi ani.

You observe days and months and seasons and years!

Féltelek titeket, hogy hiába fáradoztam értetek.

I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

Mă tem să nu mă fi ostenit degeaba pentru voi.

I am afraid I may have labored over you in vain.

Kérlek titeket, testvéreim, legyetek olyanná, mint én, mert én is olyanná lettem, mint ti. Semmivel sem bántottatok meg engem.

Legyetek olyanok, mint én; mert én is olyanná lettem, mint ti: atyámfiai, kérlek titeket, semmivel sem bántottatok meg engem.

Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all.

Fraţilor, vă rog să fiţi ca mine, căci şi eu sunt ca voi. Nu mi-aţi făcut nicio nedreptate.

Brothers, I entreat you, become as I am, for I also have become as you are. You did me no wrong.

Hiszen tudjátok, hogy először testi erőtlenségemben hirdettem nektek az evangéliumot.

Tudjátok pedig, hogy testem erőtelensége miatt hirdettem néktek az evangyéliomot először.

Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first.

Dimpotrivă, ştiţi că în neputinţa trupului v-am propovăduit Evanghelia pentru întâia dată.

You know it was because of a bodily ailment that I preached the gospel to you at first,

És számotokra nem volt kísértés, hogy testem miatt megvessetek, s nem is utáltatok meg engem, hanem úgy fogadtatok, mint Isten angyalát, mint Krisztus Jézust.

És megkísértetvén testemben, nem vetettetek meg, sem nem útáltatok meg engem, hanem úgy fogadtatok, mint Istennek angyalát, mint Krisztus Jézust.

And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.

Şi n-aţi arătat nici dispreţ, nici dezgust faţă de ceea ce era o ispită pentru voi în trupul meu; dimpotrivă, m-aţi primit ca pe un înger al lui Dumnezeu, ca pe însuşi Hristos Isus.

and though my condition was a trial to you, you did not scorn or despise me, but received me as an angel of God, as Christ Jesus.

Hová lett hát a ti boldogságotok? Mert bizonyságot teszek nektek, hogy ti, ha lehetett volna, szemeteket kivájva, nekem adtátok volna.

Hová lőn tehát a ti boldogságotok? Mert bizonyságot teszek néktek, hogy ti, ha lehetséges volt volna, szemeiteket kivájván, nékem adtátok volna.

Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.

Unde este, dar, fericirea voastră? Căci vă mărturisesc că, dacă ar fi fost cu putinţă, v-aţi fi scos până şi ochii şi mi i-aţi fi dat.

What then has become of your blessedness? For I testify to you that, if possible, you would have gouged out your eyes and given them to me.

Talán ellenségetek lettem azzal, hogy megmondom nektek az igazat?

Tehát ellenségetek lettem-é, megmondván néktek az igazat?

Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

M-am făcut oare vrăjmaşul vostru pentru că v-am spus adevărul?

Have I then become your enemy by telling you the truth?

Nem jó szándékkal buzgólkodnak értetek, hanem ki akarnak rekeszteni minket, hogy aztán ti mellettük buzgólkodjatok.

Nem szépen buzgolkodnak érettetek, sőt minket ki akarnak rekeszteni, hogy mellettök buzgolkodjatok.

They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.

Nu cu gând bun sunt plini de râvnă ei pentru voi, ci vor să vă dezlipească de noi, ca să fiţi plini de râvnă faţă de ei.

They make much of you, but for no good purpose. They want to shut you out, that you may make much of them.

Szép dolog pedig buzgólkodni a jóban mindenkor és nem csupán akkor, ha köztetek vagyok,

Szép dolog pedig fáradozni a jóban mindenkor, és nem csupán akkor, ha köztetek vagyok.

But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you.

Este bine să fii plin de râvnă totdeauna pentru bine, nu numai când sunt de faţă la voi.

It is always good to be made much of for a good purpose, and not only when I am present with you,

gyermekeim, akiket ismét fájdalommal szülök, amíg kiábrázolódik bennetek Krisztus.

Gyermekeim! kiket ismét fájdalommal szűlök, míglen kiábrázolódik bennetek Krisztus.

My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

Copilaşii mei, pentru care iarăşi simt durerile naşterii, până ce va lua Hristos chip în voi!

my little children, for whom I am again in the anguish of childbirth until Christ is formed in you!

Szeretnék pedig most köztetek jelen lenni és változtatni a hangomon; mert bizonytalanságban vagyok felőletek.

I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.

O, cum aş vrea să fiu acum de faţă la voi şi să-mi schimb glasul; căci nu ştiu ce să mai cred!

I wish I could be present with you now and change my tone, for I am perplexed about you.

Mondjátok meg nekem, akik a törvény alatt akartok lenni nem halljátok a törvényt?

Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?

Spuneţi-mi voi, care voiţi să fiţi sub Lege, n-ascultaţi voi Legea?

Tell me, you who desire to be under the law, do you not listen to the law?

Mert meg van írva, hogy Ábrahámnak két fia volt, az egyik a szolgálótól, a másik a szabadtól.

For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.

Căci este scris că Avraam a avut doi fii: unul din roabă, şi unul din femeia slobodă.

For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by a slave woman and one by a free woman.

De a szolgálótól való test szerint született, a szabadtól való pedig az ígéret által.

De a szolgálótól való test szerint született; a szabadostól való pedig az ígéret által.

But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

Dar cel din roabă s-a născut în chip firesc, iar cel din femeia slobodă s-a născut prin făgăduinţă.

But the son of the slave was born according to the flesh, while the son of the free woman was born through promise.

Ennek jelképes értelme van, mert ezek az asszonyok a két szövetséget jelentik, az egyik a Sínai-hegyről való, szolgaságra szülő: ez Hágár.

Ezek mást példáznak: mert azok [az] [asszonyok] a két szövetség, az egyik a Sinai hegyről való, szolgaságra szűlő, ez Hágár,

Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.

Lucrurile acestea trebuie luate în alt înţeles: acestea sunt două legăminte: unul, de pe muntele Sinai, naşte pentru robie şi este Agar –

Now this may be interpreted allegorically: these women are two covenants. One is from Mount Sinai, bearing children for slavery; she is Hagar.

Mert Hágár a Sínai-hegy Arábiában – ez pedig megfelel a mostani Jeruzsálemnek –, mert fiaival együtt szolgál.

Mert Hágár a Sinai hegy Arábiában, hasonlatos pedig a mostani Jeruzsálemhez, nevezetesen fiaival együtt szolgál.

For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

căci Agar este muntele Sinai din Arabia – şi răspunde Ierusalimului de acum care este în robie împreună cu copiii săi.

Now Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia; she corresponds to the present Jerusalem, for she is in slavery with her children.

De a magasságos Jeruzsálem szabad, ez mindnyájunk anyja.

But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

Dar Ierusalimul cel de sus este slobod, şi el este mama noastră.

But the Jerusalem above is free, and she is our mother.

Mert meg van írva: Ujjongj, te meddő, aki nem szülsz, vigadj és kiálts, aki nem vajúdtál, mert több gyermeke van az elhagyottnak, mint akinek férje van.

Mert meg van írva: Ujjongj te meddő, ki nem szűlsz; vígadozzál és kiálts, ki nem vajudol; mert sokkal több az elhagyottnak magzatja, mint a kinek férje vagyon.

For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

Fiindcă este scris: „Bucură-te, stearpo, care nu naşti deloc! Izbucneşte de bucurie şi strigă, tu, care nu eşti în durerile naşterii! Căci copiii celei părăsite vor fi în număr mai mare decât copiii celei cu bărbat.”

For it is written, “Rejoice, O barren one who does not bear; break forth and cry aloud, you who are not in labor! For the children of the desolate one will be more than those of the one who has a husband.”

Ti pedig, testvéreim, mint Izsák is, az ígéret gyermekei vagytok.

Mi pedig, atyámfiai, Izsák szerint, ígéretnek gyermekei vagyunk.

Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

Şi voi, fraţilor, ca şi Isaac, voi sunteţi copii ai făgăduinţei.

Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise.

But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

Şi, cum s-a întâmplat atunci, că cel ce se născuse în chip firesc prigonea pe cel ce se născuse prin Duhul, tot aşa se întâmplă şi acum.

But just as at that time he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so also it is now.

De mit mond az Írás? Űzd ki a szolgálót és a fiát, mert a szolgáló fia nem örököl a szabad asszony fiával.

De mit mond az Írás? Űzd ki a szolgálót és az ő fiát; mert a szolgáló fia nem örököl a szabad nő fiával.

Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.

Dar ce zice Scriptura? „Izgoneşte pe roabă şi pe fiul ei; căci fiul roabei nu va moşteni împreună cu fiul femeii slobode.”

But what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the slave woman and her son, for the son of the slave woman shall not inherit with the son of the free woman.”

Azért, testvéreim, nem a szolgáló, hanem a szabad asszony gyermekei vagyunk.

Annakokáért, atyámfiai, nem vagyunk a szolgáló fiai, hanem a szabadoséi.

So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

De aceea, fraţilor, noi nu suntem copiii celei roabe, ci ai femeii slobode. Hristos ne-a izbăvit ca să fim slobozi.

So, brothers, we are not children of the slave but of the free woman.
